The First and Last of 2024 I Hope of Countries Dissolving Relations With Israel UNDER UN Condemnation, (Part II on Turkey)

 Nadene Goldfoot

The Security Council late today adopted unanimously a resolution submitted jointly by France, the United Kingdom and the United States, condemning Israel for the Gaza incident of 28 February,  dated 29 March, 1955. The March 1955 Outburst was organized jointly by the communists and Islamists to oppose a UN -Egyptian plan to transfer refugees in the Gaza Strip to the northwestern Sinai Desert. Widely supported by the masses and clear in its demands, the uprising eventually succeeded in putting an end to the resettlement project.

Newsweek in 2024 tells us that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey has officially severed relations with Israel, according to reports in Turkish media.

Erdogan made these comments to journalists aboard his plane following his recent visits to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, citing Gaza and Lebanon as the reason since he sees the fight as Israel's genocide against these countries, which is absolutely wrong.  We can thank the UN for his and other's positions against Israel, however.  Here's Israel trying to defend themselves against Hezbollah, financed and directed and aided by Iran who is financed and directed and aided by Russia to wipe out Israel!

Turkey is always at the ready to condemn Israel.

MV Mavi Marmara leaving Antalya for Gaza on May 22, 2010.   The ship has a capacity of 1,080 passengers. It is best known for its participation in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and the deadly confrontation that took place on it during the Gaza flotilla raid.

In 2008, the ship, Mavi Marmara, was an example.  A few helpful organizations along with a terrorist group from Turkey  sent several ships to breach Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip in mid-April. The initiative could provoke a military altercation with the Israeli or U.S. navies and undermine Washington’s humanitarian efforts.  The FFC of 12 member organizations, with the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) and the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association overseeing the composition of the flotilla. Israel designated IHH as a terrorist entity in 2008, mainly owing to its membership in the Union of Good — a Muslim Brotherhood coalition of charities that the U.S. Treasury sanctioned in 2008 that is known to raise funds for Hamas.  That is what I call a shoonda, a terrible act of raising money for HAMAS-a terror organization that obviously would be used to attack Israel in some way, maybe to dig tunnels.

HAMAS emerged in 1987 during the first Palestinian uprising, or intifada, as an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestinian branch. HAMAS has been the de facto governing body in the Gaza Strip since 2007, when it ousted the Palestinian Authority from power

In 2010, Turkey turned against Israel with the flotilla incident.  "The Gaza flotilla raid with lead ship, Mavi Marmara, was a military operation by Israel against six civilian ships of the "Gaza Freedom Flotilla" on 31 May 2010 in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea. Nine activists were killed in the raid. The flotilla, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the TurkishFoundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İHH), was carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials, with the intention of breaking the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip

Israel had offered Turkey $20 million in compensation for the raid. On 22 March 2013, in a half-hour telephone exchange between Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the former apologized on behalf of his nation; Erdoğan accepted the apology and both agreed to enter into further discussions.  On June 29, 2016 the agreement was finalized and approved by the Israeli government."

The Gaza flotilla raid was a military operation by Israel against six civilian ships of the "Gaza Freedom Flotilla" on 31 May 2010 in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea. Nine of the flotilla passengers were killed during the raid, with thirty wounded (including one who later died of his wounds). Ten Israeli soldiers were wounded, one seriously.

Israel said they would board the ship to check for weapons (meant to use against Israel). They fought the Israeli sailors, trying to stop them from boarding.
