Middle East:                      Israel doesn't show up on the above map under #1. ---Israel lies to the north of the equator around 31°30' north latitude and 34°45' east longitude.

Middle to Far East, but hard to see Israel or Syria (dark green) ;  Far East with China but where is Korea?  It's a peninsula off of China, facing Japan;  divided between North and South.   We've gone all the way around the world and back again from Korea to the Middle East, with Bedlam.

From South Korea to Syria, all sorts of bedlam is raining down on their population!  South Korea tried and failed to impeach their president.  Bianna Golodryga speaks with Kathleen Stephens, the former U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, about what may happen after President Yoon (Yeol)  decided to back down from his decision to declare martial law.  Washington was blindsided  by the martial law announcement, said the former ambassador.  The opposing party, backed by North Korea,  had impeached much of his fellow party members.  Yoon calls his opposition, The Communists (North Koreans) .

In Syria, the Assed regime that has been ruling for over 50 years just experienced rebel Syrians attacking the State's army and winning.  They've entered Damascus and Assad has fled to Moscow for refuge.  The rebels seem to be the good guys, stating they will be peaceful with Israel. • The leader of the main rebel group, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, called the toppling of Assad a “victory for the entire Islamic nation” in his first public remarks in Damascus. The rebels — led by Jolani’s HTS group, which was formed out of an al Qaeda affiliate — have said minorities will be protected.  Al Qaeda is a terrorist group.  The group rose to global prominence after perpetrating the September 11, 2001, attacks (9/11) in the United States.

In the meantime, the USA has bombed ISIS centers existing in SyriaThe U.S. carried out a major round of airstrikes on Islamic State targets on Sunday, and warned the terror group against trying to regain strength in the country after rebels took over the government.  The operation included “dozens” of airstrikes on over 75 targets involving ISIS operatives and camps using B-52 bombers, F-15 fighter jets and A-10 close-air support attack aircraft “to ensure that ISIS does not seek to take advantage of the current situation to reconstitute in central Syria,” according to a statement from U.S. Central Command.

Israel has bombed and entered Syria as far in as they accomplished in the 1973 war when they were attacked by Syria. The Yom Kippur War, also known as the Ramadan War, the October War, the 1973 Arab–Israeli War, or the Fourth Arab–Israeli War, was fought from 6 to 25 October 1973 between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria In February 1973, Isma‘il met with Kissinger and informed him that Egypt would be willing to sign a separate peace agreement with Israel that could involve demilitarized zones on both sides of the international border and peacekeepers in sensitive locations like Sharm al-Shaykh. However, Egyptian-Israeli normalization would have to wait until Israel withdrew from all the territories it had conquered in 1967.   Reuters reported that Israel had conducted three airstrikes in the Syrian capital on Sunday, citing two regional security sources. Israel’s military declined to comment when asked by CNN if it had conducted strikes on Damascus.

Meanwhile, the ceasefire in Lebanon is holding despite ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah targets, which Israeli officials say are responses to ceasefire violations by the Iranian-backed militant groupAll over Lebanon, business owners are reeling after an intense conflict between Israel and Hezbollah saw Israeli bombs rain down on residential, commercial and industrial parts of the country, destroying shops, warehouses and stocks of goods.  They can thank Hezbollah for this, as they used the buildings for storage and hiding places.

The Israel Defense Forces continues its intense airstrike and ground campaigns in Gaza.  Avichay Adraee, the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesman, issued new evacuation notices for the capital’s southern suburbs, warning that Israeli forces intended to strike buildings in the area that he said were being used by Hezbollah.

Hezbollah fired missile at Tel Aviv after heavy Israeli strikes on Lebanon Hezbollah centers

Hezbollah continues to threaten civilians in northern Israel with relatively long-range weapons, however. Unspecified senior IDF officers acknowledged this enduring threat in remarks to Israeli Army Radio. The IDF officers said that, while Hezbollah can no longer conduct a ground attack in Israel, Israeli forces along the Israel-Lebanon border must be prepared to intercept Hezbollah fire into northern Israel. Some of the anti-tank missiles that Hezbollah has, such as Kornet missiles, have ranges up to five kilometers. Under CTP-ISW's layer of current assessed Israeli advances, the IDF would need to clear areas of southern Lebanon that it has not yet cleared in order to push Hezbollah more than five kilometers from northern Israel.

Longer-range Hezbollah munitions, made in Iran,  such as drones, missiles, and rockets, similarly continue to threaten residents of northern Israel, even though Israeli operations have likely diminished Hezbollah stockpiles considerably.

Hezbollah rocket attacks injured at least six Israeli civilians in northern Israel on November 10, for example.  IDF officers have estimated that Israeli air operations have degraded Hezbollah missile and rocket capabilities to the point that Hezbollah has to be ”economical” in its use of munitions.

The IDF also recently estimated it has destroyed 70 percent of Hezbollah’s pre-October 7, 2023 drone stockpile. Although Hezbollah has launched a daily average of 44 rockets into Israel in November 2024, the volume of rocket fire is short of pre-war estimates of Hezbollah’s capabilities, which had indicated that Hezbollah may launch up to 1,500 missiles and rockets daily in the event of war.

Tensions also remain high between Israel and Iran after tit-for-tat long-range strikes in recent months and threats of further military action from both sides.

The Ukrainians should also be included in this bedlam time period.  They were a country where many many Jews had lived, and then the Nazis of Germany attacked all countries in WWII and were intent on killing Jews.  The Ukrainians, neighbors at times, and part of Russia at times, helped the Nazis more than necessary.  Other countries like Denmark and Sweden didn't aid Nazis in rounding up Jews, but Ukraine sure did.  Now, the tables are turned on Ukraine, and here Russia is attacking them for once again claiming their own government apart from Russia, and bombing is going on, destroying parts of each.  The irony, of course, is that they are led by a Jewish President who so far is doing quite well !!!!!
