Hamas Terrorism Strikes at Ashkelon Again

Hamas home made rockets-Qassam aimed at southern Israel

Remember Israel's "Operation Protective Edge?"  That was 2 1/2 years ago and all has been quiet since then.  Since that 2014 War, Hamas terrorists in Gaza have replenished their missile capability.
                                                                             

Hamas held an early morning rocket fire against Ashkelon and late afternoon gunfiring at IDF troops along the fence  near Kissufim Monday morning.  

Israel had to responded with a large strike east of Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, hitting a Hamas target in Shuja'iyya plus more artillery fire on Hamas outposts in the central Strip.

Since 2014, Netanyahu has directed that" Israel shall respond to all attacks from now on.  Israel will be steadfast in responding to every attack, and will not permit a "drizzle" of missile attacks that go without a response." Netanyahu told reporters in London that his directives are to respond with force to every missile attack.   They didn't do this previously and were hit constantly.  You live and learn.

Then they call-foul and OCCUPATION!  

Though the Hamas terrorists started the attack, as expected, they are the ones complaining about return fire.  Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader, Ahmed al-Mudalil said, "The continued Zionist aggression against Gaza cannot pass without the occupation paying a price."  This was posted on twitter.

Occupation?  It wasn't enough that all Jews living in Gaza, were moved by the Israeli government with the promise of peace coming from the Arabs, which never happened.  The opposite resulted with Gaza becoming a platform for firing squads of rockets, mortars and missiles raining down on Southern Israel.  Occupation?  The fact that Israel exists in what had been called Palestine from 135 on by the Romans is enough for them to complain about and consider as "occupation."
                                                                 

These are Hamas terrorists rocket launchers.  

Ashkelon is Portland, Oregon's sister city and is home to the large medical center that serves all of southern Israel plus the Arabs.  Rocket alert sirens were blaring early Monday morning in several communities in the Ashkelon Regional Council that borders on the northern Gaza Strip.  A rocket hit in an open area and IDF security fores were conducting a sweep for remnants.  No one was injured and there was no damage this time.

Hamas is not the only terrorist group that launch rocket attacks into Israel these days.  They also have their splinter Islamic groups.  Israel holds Hamas responsible for all fire coming from the Strip because they control it.
                                                                     

For months, Hamas has been using the money and resources earmarked for the reconstruction of Gaza to instead arm and prepare for the next war against Israel.  Hamas forces proudly marched through Gaza City with large missiles and aerial drones, a clear message that the group intends to strike Israel even harder , even to the detriment of its own population.  These are missiles ready to be launched.  

Hazem Qassim, the Hamas spokesman, told their Hamas-affiliated Al-Risalah, that the group "holds the Israeli Occupation fully accountable for the repercussions of the latest "escalation" that was launched against the Gaza Strip.  Their modus operandi is that of the schoolyard bully who picks a fight and then cries when the little kid lands a good one back on his nose, and the bully then runs and complains to the Principal.

Hamas who rains rockets, mortars and missiles on Southern Israel. 

The difference is that this bully, Hamas, causes death and destruction and death can't be fixed.
                                                                     

This is why Ashkelon's Barzelai  Medical Center has had to build complete stations for patients underground.  Terrorists terrorize by picking on women and children.  They're not men at war with another army.  They're cowards hiding behind their own people.  That's how these Hamas terrorists do things.   All of southern Israel has had to produce air raid shelters for their schools in southern Israel because of them and then hope they can reach them in time.  Since things are so close, they have 30 seconds to get to shelter after the siren.  One fears even going to the bathroom now that it has started in again after a lull that was better than the 2 years after the Six Day War of 1967.
