UNESCO: Reincarnation of Ancient Rome: Refuses Recognition of Jewish Ties to Temple Mount-Site of Solomon's Temple

Nadene Goldfoot
Arab Aggression in 1967 against Israel  in Six Day War
when  Egypt and all Arab States; Jordan, Iraq, Syria attacked.
Surprise to Arabs was that Israel prevailed and won in 6 days!
UNESCO condemns Israeli "aggression " in Jerusalem and  ignores Palestinian violence.

Young Arab men are induced even today in attacking
Jews; throwing rocks, knifing, ramming crowds with their cars.
They haven't given up.  Khartoum Conference in August1967 dictated the
3 NOs:  No peace, no negotiations, no recognition of Israel.

UNESCO is not a peaceful organization.  They are appeasers.
A rabbi condemns UNESCO for declaring our forefathers' tombs to be Islamic sites.

UNESCO's Flags -The one thing they are ignorant about is
Israel's history, and that's what they consume their time talking about.

UNESCO is the heir of the League of NationsInternational Committee on Intellectual Cooperation.  UNESCO is like the theater of the Absurd.

UNESCO, standing for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization, is an agency of the United Nations, located in Paris and includes 195 member states and 9 associate members.

They just wrote a resolution on what they called "Occupied Palestine" which negates the move that their forefather,  The League of Nations took, and the United Nations had followed up and verified with when they decided to give the mandate for Palestine to Great Britain with the direction to help the Jews and to help them turn it into the Jewish Homeland.  They did, and when the Brits' 30 year mandate came to an end and they packed up and left, the Jews declared their state to be called ISRAEL on May 14, 1948.

Their declaration sets out to Islamize the ancient history of the people of Israel, with Islam, a religion that came 1,600 years after Israel's King Saul had established his Israel.  We see from those who voted for it that they were a mixture of European and other Christian nations along with many Muslim states.

UNESCO, Paris, France
Then this new group of culturally interested and oh so educationally minded approved their resolution at a committee stage by 24 votes to 6, with 26 abstentions back on October 13, 2016.

The people voting against this terrible resolution were:  Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and the United States.  Six brave countries who said NO!

Abstaining were:  Albania, Argentina, Cameroon, El Salvador, France, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Haiti, India, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, Paraguay, Saint Vincent and Nevis, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda and Ukraine.

Absent were Serbia and Turkmenistan.

The nasties who voted FOR this unbelievable resolution were Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chad, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan and Vietnam.  Why would they vote for such a horrific resolution against Israel ?  What's in it for them?  What do they have in common?

We had our first run-in with Muslims in 624.  Mohammad died in 632.
624: Muhammad broke with his Jewish supporters because they refused to recognize him as a prophet and adopt Islam. He chose now to emphasize the Arabness of the new religion and has his followers face Mecca when praying instead of Jerusalem. In the end, all the Jews were either banished or executed.
634-644: Umar (c. 591-644) reigns as the second caliph. The Muslims subjugate Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Mesopotamia and Persia. Garrisons established in the conquered lands, and the Muslim rulers begin to take control of financial organizations.
638: Caliph Umar I enters Jerusalem.
711: With the further conquest of Egypt, Spain and North Africa, Islam included all of the Persian empire and most of the old Roman world under Islamic rule. Muslims began the conquest of Sindh in Afghanistan.
715: By this year just about all of Spain is in Muslim hands. The Muslim conquest of Spain only took around three years but the Christian reconquest would require around 460 years (it might have gone faster had the various Christian kingdoms not been at each other' throats much of the time). Musa's son,
October 10, 732: Battle of Tours: With perhaps 1,500 soldiers, Charles Martel halts a Muslim force of around 40,000 to 60,000 cavalry under Abd el-Rahman Al Ghafiqi from moving farther into Europe. Many regard this battle as being decisive in that it saved Europe from Muslim control. Gibbon wrote: "A victorious line of march had been prolonged above a thousand miles from the rock of Gibraltar to the banks of the Loire; the repetition of an equal space would have carried the Saracens to the confines of Poland and the Highlands of Scotland; the Rhine is not more impassable than the Nile or Euphrates, and the Arabian fleet might have sailed without a naval combat into the mouth of the Thames.
911: Muslims control all the passes in the Alps between France and Italy, cutting off passage between the two countries.
916: A combined force of Greek and German emperors and Italian city-states defeat Muslim invaders at Garigliano, putting Muslim raids in Italy to an end.

Today we are fighting ISIS whose goal is to establish again a Muslim worldwide caliphate.  The Christian establishments seem to be viewing their days through the new Muslim view which is prevailing in such international institutions as UNESCO.  We notice this the most in their Jerusalem Declaration   which ignores our Jewish historical facts.

There is also the Venice Declaration of 1980 that was issued by the European Community which tried to force Israel to survive in a smaller segment of Israel than had been promised which wanted the tiny state, after being attacked from 1947-49, 1956, and 1967 and again in 1973 to go back to the original time out borders after surviving all these attacks!  I'm afraid that the Europeans were pacifying the Arab League with it, something I've also seen the Pope do by fawning over Jordan on his visit and ignoring Israel.   These Europeans were trying to make nice with the Arabs who had been angered by the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt in 1979.  We saw the holy sites of Jews and even the survival necessities of Israel sacrificed by the European Community in exchange for petrodollars.  As they say, money speaks louder than truth.  Whatever they learned in their churches about right and wrong were ignored for that all-mighty paper dollar or Euro, whatever they were bargaining for.

It must be remembered that the Arabs calling themselves the Palestinian Arabs, were never a people.  They were a hodgepodge of Arabs from the surrounding lands of israel since there never was a country or state called Palestine.  The only thing that binds them together is their Arabic language.  Before May 14, 1948, many called themselves the Syrian Palestinians.

I'm afraid that UNESCO has set out to islamize Jerusalem and to delegitimize the State of Israel in this Venice declaration.  The European Union has continued to view this as valid.  Though Great Britain probably has economic reasons to pull out of this Union, it's one less country attacking Israel with it.

No connection between the Temple Mount and Judaism?  They dismiss
all our history? Islam is a newcomer, as Mohammad died in 632 CE, and the
Mosques came after this date.

It's called The Temple Mount because Solomon's Temple stood here and was built in his time.(961-920 BCE).  Solomon was the son of King David who ruled from 1010 to 970 BCE.

Abraham (1948 BCE))  prepared to offer Isaac on Mt. Moriah, which is where the Temple Mount is built over.
Jews and Muslims  alike share Abraham as the father of their people.   The 3 important people of the Jewish history were Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The Jewish religion originated with Abraham's grandson, Jacob whose father was Isaac, brother of Ishmael who is said to be the father of the Arab people.  Being Islam wasn't created until by Mohammad (570-632) they acquired their historical stories through hearing Jewish stories first, and have Abraham sacrificing their son, Ishmael. Judaism and Islam are separated by 2, 600 years!

King David (1010 BCE-970 BCE)  made Jerusalem the capital of united Israel in 1010 BCE.  Just read about it in II Samuel of the "Old Testament" or Tanakh as we say in Hebrew.  He was buried there.

King David knew King Saul, Israel's 1st king, very well.  Ask the Pashtuns of Pakistan and Afghanistan about Jerusalem being a Jewish city.  They know of their history which is that they came from King Saul's tribe of Benjamin and are part of our 10 Lost Tribes that the Assyrians kidnapped and took as Israel's assets-prizes to be used as slaves or sold into captivity. Their government voted for this terrible resolution?  He or she must not have been a Pashto, then.

King David's son, King Solomon ((61-920 BCE) , built our Temple on the original  threshing floor because of its historic value to our history.  After it was destroyed by the Babylonians in 597 and 586 BCE, the Jews were returned from Persia 40 years later and rebuilt it where it stood on the threshing floor until 70 CE when the Romans destroyed it and took the city.

Everyone serves in Israel for Defense,
men and women.
IDF is Israel Defense Force

Not only do Israelis have to be on constant guard for attacks from enemies surrounding them, but are attacked by the very institution that helped to create them in the first place!  it's another form of infanticide!  The parent is trying to kill their own creation, their child, and a teeny one at that.  In ancient Rome, they did things like that when they had an emperor like Nero and Caligula.  Jews were the parents of Christianity which was started by Jews, and here we are again.

  1. the eu is the revived roman empire that is prophesied in the book of daniel. the image daniel saw progressively showed us the empires of the past and the revival of this one with it's iron legs and ten toes of the mixed iron and clay are fulfilled in what the eu has become and continues to morph to be. like the global roman rule of that empire when they scattered God's people the jews (70 a.d.) today, they are doing very much the same with their policy making to force many wrongs upon israel and it is going to get worse.

i have been following these detailed prophecies for 10 years now and thus far it is all very much on course. 2017 will be very eventful in my estimation nadene, with 4 major anniversaries converging for israel next year. the eu and the un definitely don't want israel to enjoy her jubilee and 70th birthday... (among other things).

now is the time for people to see what the Bible has been saying all this time. it is God's Word. not one word will fall to the ground.

    1. Oh my goodness, Andre. I imagined people would be confused as to why I compared the Roman Empire with today's UNESCO and here that is what you have been thinking, too! I'll have to go back and read Daniel again thinking of UNESCO and the EU. Right! The EU and UNESCO are doing the very things that the Romans did and think as little about Israel and the Jews as they did back then; that we are just a thorn in their back-or tuchus. Yes, the Bible is full of facts that are more interesting to read than anything we can create for fiction. It's history, and such interesting spellbinding history at that. Yes, the 70th birthday is coming up. Trump has promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem! We have a new president who luxuriates in doing things differently. This will be interesting times.

  2. and i love God's timing to grab the headlines with the bronze coin that was found dating back to the maccabees ;)

unesco can say whatever about the temple mount and to whom it belongs.....but actual time tested history proves them to be completely bogus. God's shock and awe will stun the world when He steps into the picture to set the record straight. oh my oh my! so many will find they are on the wrong side of Him.....

  3. I just watched Fox News and the Democrat of the 4some who talk about situations going on was the leader of the show to replace O'Reily, I think. He was talking still about why Hillary didn't win, and the fact that relgious people lived in the middle of the country and that Democrats were few and far from being religious these days and lived on the coasts where she got her votes. So moving away from religion as they had dropped Israel out of the Democratic charter some years ago with Obama coming in, is one characteristic of how Democrats think, making them different from Republicans and Independents. Very interesting, and it shows how Democrats have slid and changed from when I used to be one. Almost all Jews were Democrats due to Roosevelt's presidency. They thought he had something to do with helping them out of Europe, that an that in those days, according to my father, Democrats were for little businesses and Republicans were for corporations/big businesses. Today it's the opposite. Thinking is upside down from being rational. I'm open-minded, but facts are facts. You don't change facts. Apples fall to the ground from tree limbs, they don't fly into the sky. Yes, it was almost spooky that the coin was found just at this time of Chanukah! What else will happen?

  4. nadene, it is all coming back around but i believe for the final time. i believe prophecy is telling us that the burdensome stone (jerusalem) is about to bring all things to a head.

i truly believe we are the generation that will see the end days prophecies come to fruition.

are people waiting and looking (longing) for Messiah? they should be. the wait will not be too much longer now.

God has perfect timing-always. yes! that coin and what's next? just like that pillar of cloud recently i believe there are more wonders on the horizon...seeing truly miraculous things happening---wonderful things happening in the midst of great evil......and then the Lord will put the finishing touches on His plan for this world.

it is both frightening and exciting at the same time!

  6. One of the worst things was the United States abstaining in the vote instead of voting no like they have for years. Tne animosity that Obama has shown to Netanyahu all along came to its fruition with this vote, and I was not surprised Obama ended his term like this. This will hinder any attemts in bringing about peace talks. If it has been impossible up to now for Israel, this makes it ridiculous. I wonder what Trump can do now because he's the one that got Egypt, who signed off on this resolution for a couple of the other Arab states, dropped it and 2 other Arab States picked it up to continue. I think Senegal was one of them. Yes, it will take the Meshiach to deal with this. It's a time when the UN/UNESCO has already drunk the Kool-Aid and no one there has any common sense.

  7. much of the world seems to be all to willing to drink the koolaid and it's pungent bitter flavor is hate. too many have acquired a taste for it these days, so hate gets many votes and hate paves the way for what? more hate.
but we know differently and i pray for the Lord to step in. i know He will. He has business to finish with His people and with this land of Promise. He has business to finish with human hearts the world over and He is no slacker. Love shines all the brighter against the dark backdrop of hate. may hearts see and turn toward the Light.
His Will is, and will be, done. That is the long and short of this in the things of earth.

i wish you happy hanukkah. there will be the LORD's temple once again for the whole world to stream to one day--that is a prophecy and beautiful it is.
the Lord bless you and yours with wisdom and strength now and in the new year. it will have many challenges......but the Lord knows, He sees, and He is able to do above what we ask or think.
we are headed for a very interesting year in 2017. may His Love and Light draw us close and rule us completely, while the world (for a little while longer) hates.

i encourage you, keep on posting nadene. :)
