Shooting a missile from Gaza into Israel
Since 1991, Palestinian Arabs have been shooting thousands of missiles, mortars and rockets into southern Israel. At first it was a few, then more and more came raining down. Israeli communities hit were small ones who had to have bomb shelters, even portable ones at schools, for protection just in case. Life in southern Israel was always on high alert for such a disaster whether or not it was posted as such. The sky was falling!
Israel's Iron Dome hits an incoming missile, but misses some.
Finally, Israel had to put an end to something that was happening every day with Operation Protective Edge. No one was lifting a finger to change the Arab mentality, and the UN certainly didn't care. Everyone had swung over from 1967's champions of Israel who won the war against all odds to back the Palestinians who wanted a state and wanted Israel's state.
Thousands of Syrian missiles aimed at Israel
Palestinians were violating international agreements to undermine Israeli positions and such violations weren't being reported.
The media seemed to be the leaders in backing Palestinians these days. They reported that "according to officials in the Gaza Strip, a majority of Palestinian Arab fatalities were civilians, often "mostly civilians."
These figures came from Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry and the Interior Ministry. Hamas, in control, urged Gazans to describe all fatalities as "innocent civilians."
Israel Defense Forces estimated that nearly half the fatalities were gunmen from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, or other terrorist groups.
The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA), indicated that more than 50% of casualties were males between 17 and 39--prime combat age. How amazing is that?
UN estimate 2 years ago on non-combatant casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq of USA and coalition forces ranged from 3:1 to 4:1, respectively.
All this was to help the Palestinian Authority's President Mahmoud Abbas's bid to seek international recognition for a Palestine. They have been demanding that the UN Security Council adopt a resolution requiring Israel to be expelled from Judea and Samaria and that Israel would have to go back to its 1967 border by 2 to 3 years from now.
The resolution would make an international acceptance of a state of Palestine made out of Judea Samaria, the Gaza Strip and eastern Jerusalem.
USA has opposed Sweden's on and off recognition. Sweden is now the first to recognize Palestine. Sweden has a new government and they are contradicting international statutes in this recognition.
Germany has said they will not recognize Palestine.
1. Resolution 242 from 1967 written after the Six Day War
2. Resolution 338 from 1973 Yom Kippur War
These call for negotiations to resolve conflict and SECURE AND RECOGNIZE BOUNDARIES FOR ISRAEL AND ARABS OF THIS CONFLICT.
ISRAEL'S PRE 1967 FRONTIERS--THE 1949 ARMISTICE LINE WITH JORDAN ABOUT JUDEA AND SAMARIA WAS NOT RECOGNIZED NOR SECURE.
THE 1950 ARMISTICE LINE WITH EGYPT CONCERNING GAZA WAS NOT RECOGNIZED NOR SECURE.
Yassir Arafat agreed with PM Yitzhak Rabin by a letter in 1993 to end anti-Israel terrorism and resolve all outstanding issues through negotiations.
An interim agreement was reached in 1995 using 242 and 338 as reference points.
Abbas attempted to bring about Palestine without ending terrorism. All the world heard were Palestinian grievances loading responsibility onto Israel only. Israel wasn't starting any attacks but only responded to attacks.
The 1933 Montevideo Convention on Rights and Duties of States requires countries to have a permanent population, a defined territory, a unitary government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states.
The 1991 Arbitration Commission of the Conference on Yugoslavia dealt with the fragmentation of that country, similar to the 3 sections of a Palestine, and reaffirmed these qualifications.

They had been portraying the conflict as a morality play with evil Israel oppressing "innocent Palestinians."
In reality, what had been going on was bloody anti-Jewish incitement by Hamas and by Palestinian Authority agencies in Judea and Samaria and ceaseless terrorist attacks by the Arabs.
Palestinians were violating international agreements to undermine Israeli positions and such violations weren't being reported.

Where has the USA stood about Palestine?
Germany has said they will not recognize Palestine.
There are already 2 Security Council resolutions outlining the means and requirements of Arab-Israeli peace.

Fatah Terrorists
Fatah, formerly the PLO terrorists, and
Hamas Terrorists
Hamas, active terrorists, think they form a unity government of off and on standing, like a bipolar person who has his ups and downs.
1. Fatah administers in Judea and Samaria.
2. Hamas controls the Gaza Strip.
3. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel; one city.
4. The Palestinians have no jurisdiction there.
5. Territory is not defined by a negotiated agreement with Israel.
6. Insisting on recognition violates the 1993 and 1995 agreements.
None of these points ever makes the news for people. I don't believe our governments even use their lawyers to remember these points. How about our Secretary of State, John Kerry?
Why do people think that Israel can come to an agreement with active terrorists? Creating a Palestine will not stop their terrorism, it will only enforce it. Having a state has not been their goal for the past 66 years.
Their goal has been to eliminate Israel. Changing their minds should be the task for the world, not sucking into their selfish plans of destroying the successful state of Israel which is what news reporting is doing.
Israel has been the only Middle East state that is not out to take other lands not theirs, like Russia is doing right now. They just want to live in peace.
What kind of sickness is going on with the rest of the people of this world? Anti-Semitism is worse than Ebola, but just as catching. It's time for all people to accept Israel in the Middle East.
