Increased Terrorist Attacks in Israel and Why Israel Must Stop Them That UN Does Not Understand

 Nadene Goldfoot

Palestinian car rammer, now dead, shot by off duty Policeman

Just moments ago, at around 1:30 Israel time, a terrorist rammed his car into people waiting at a busy bus stop in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. A 6 year old boy was killed at the scene and a man in his early 20's was pronounced dead shortly after in the hospital. Another 4 people were injured, including a 10 year old boy in serious condition.

The terrorist, a 31 year old father of 3 from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, was shot and killed by an off duty Jerusalem police officer at the scene. As a resident of east Jerusalem, the terrorist had an Israeli identity card and freedom of movement throughout Israel. The terror attacks is suspected of being an unplanned lone wolf attack.

This freedom of movement for residents of the Arab neighborhoods and villages of east Jerusalem presents a significant security challenge and needs to be dealt with.

Let us all pray for a speedy recovery for the wounded and for the souls of those murdered. And let us pray that these Arab "heroes" stop murdering innocent children and people trying to live their lives in peace.

What did this lone wolf 31 year old Palestinian terrorist accomplish?  He killed a 6 year old boy and a 20 some year old man who was possibly a potential soldier.  He also injured 4 people, one of whom was a boy of 10 who may die.

This is what the Palestinian political theology has done to their people;  turn them into killers.  None of them today are calling for a two state position that would create a Palestine sitting next to Israel.  What they are calling for is a Palestine and NO Israel, and this is what the Western world seems to be going along with-possibly not realizing what it's all about.  All they visualize is a 2 state  Kum By Yah situation that belongs in the land of Oz with Dorothy and Toto.

Arafat with Ehud Barak and Bill Clinton at Camp David Summit, 2000.  Barak offered Arafat a Palestinian state in 73 % of the West Bank and all of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian percentage of sovereignty would extend to 90 % over a ten- to twenty-five-year period. Also included in the offer was the return of a small number of refugees and compensation for those not allowed to return. Palestinians would also have "custodianship" over the Temple Mount, sovereignty on all Islamic and Christian holy sites, and three of Jerusalem's four Old City quarters.

Arafat rejected Barak's offer and refused to make an

immediate counter-offer. He told President Clinton that, "the

Arab leader who would surrender Jerusalem is not born yet."

So was Arafat an Orthodox Muslim so persuaded by his religion to give up

having a country, holding out over a flying horse that was part of the legend

of Mohammad riding it to Jerusalem?  Do I need to go on and on about our

Jewish connection to Jerusalem; how it was created by our King David and

held by his son, King Solomon....down to 70 CE when the Romans

occupied it and then burnt it all down including our 2nd Temple and killing

our people, taking the living as slaves?  We have a history going back almost

4,000 years and the Muslims have a story involving a few hours.

Look at what the Palestinian leaders have been calling for and look at how they have been doing it. First, they've been led by Cairo-born Arafat who was a terrorist.

Under the Oslo Peace Accords, Israel undertook to deposit the VAT tax receipts on goods purchased by Palestinians into the Palestinian treasury. Until 2000, these monies were transferred directly to Arafat's personal accounts at Bank Leumi, in Tel Aviv.

In October and December 2001, suicide bombings by Palestinian militant groups increased and Israeli counter strikes intensified. Following the election of Ariel Sharon in February, the peace process took a steep downfall.   In the same month, Sharon ordered Arafat to be confined to his Mukata'a headquarters in Ramallah, following an attack in the Israeli city of Hadera; US President George W. Bush supported Sharon's action, claiming that Arafat was "an obstacle to the peace."

                       First Terrorist, Haj Amin al-Husseini

Palestinians have been the pawns of a deep plan to not allow any Western

Jewish existence in the Middle East.  They have attacked Jews before

Israel existed in 1947 led by Haj Amin al- Husseini and Arafat took his

place.  He led his forces and attacked and killed Jews.  In the lead-up to the 1948 Palestine war, Husseini opposed both the 1947 UN Partition Plan and King Abdullah's designs to annex the Arab part of British Mandatory Palestine to Jordan, and, failing to gain command of the "Arab rescue army" (jaysh al-inqadh al-'arabi) formed under the aegis of the Arab League, built his own militia, al-jihad al-muqaddas.  It must be they who continue on attacking and killing under the umbrella of wanting or needing their own state alongside Israel.  That's why they refuse to sit down and talk about peace when their goal is to kill.

The attack on Jews has been intensifying along with anti-Semitism in the world.  This has led to Israel's position of trying to stop it like going into the hotbed of hostility-Jenin to arrest and take in perpetrators. The latest was on the 26 January when  Israeli forces conducted a raid in the Jenin Refugee Camp in the north of the Israeli side of the West Bank. They fired live ammunition, killing at least nine Palestinians, including one elderly woman and two children. Over 20 people were reportedly injured and four of them remain in critical condition.

While circumstances of the raid and the number of persons killed and injured are still being verified, UN experts noted that this was the highest number of people killed in a single operation in the West Bank since 2005. So far this year, 28 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and two more by Jews living in the  West Bank. This brings the death toll to more than one Palestinian a day, the UN people said.

Pro-Palestinian activists marched across Brussels shouting
violent slogans, wearing terrorist organization headbands and
carrying posters glorifying terrorist figures on Saturday as part of the "March for Return and Liberation for Palestine." Similar protests also took
place in other locations worldwide.

In 2016, Belgian researcher estimated that about 562

individuals had travelled to become foreign fighters in the

Syrian and Iraqi Civil Wars, the majority of whom joined the

Islamic State with others joining the al-Qaida-affiliated

group Al-Nusra Front. The majority of those who went to

the Syria in the 2012-2016 time span were of Moroccan

descent according to U.S. and Belgian authorities.

Belgium has been the base of operations for a number of

terrorist attacks in the 2010s, including the November 2015

 Paris attacks.

What Israel has been doing is reacting to every attack they have had against them, something Belgium has not done.  They have a whole Palestinian neighborhood that their police refuse to enter.

Israel must stop these attacks.  Palestinians only respect strength.   If they didn't do that, they would lose their own land, and that happened once in 70 CE.. when they were overcome;   it shall not happen again.  Waiting for 2,000 years to gain one's land back is quite a lesson to the Jews.
