ELON MUSK, ANTI-SEMITIC ?

 Nadene Goldfoot

Elon Reeve Musk  (born June 28, 1971) in Pretoria, South Africa, and emigrated to Canada at age 18.  He is a businessman known for his key roles in the space company SpaceX and the automotive company Tesla, Inc. He's 53 years old.  Oh yes, he is now the owner of the old Twitter, called X....now.

Accusations of antisemitism against Elon Musk.

First, Elon Musk has got a thing against ADL (Anti-Defamation League).

Founded by Jews in New York to combat antisemitism, as well as other forms of bigotry and discrimination. ADL is also known for its pro-Israel advocacy.
Jonathan Greenblatt (born November 21, 1970) is an Jewish American entrepreneur, corporate executive, and the sixth national director and CEO of the ..

Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Prior to heading the ADL, Greenblatt served in the White House as Special Assistant to Barack Obama and Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. He's 54 years old, a year younger than Musk.

Its current CEO is Jonathan Greenblatt.

Born in Budapest to a non-observant Jewish family, Soros survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary and moved to the United Kingdom in 1947.George Soros  (born György Schwartz; August 12, 1930) is an American investor and philanthropist. As of October 2023, he had a net worth of US$6.7 billion, having donated more than $32 billion to the Open Society Foundations, of which $15 billion has already been distributed, representing 64% of his original fortune.

Soros is a Jewish holocaust survivor who is extremely wealthy, possibly the most wealthy before Musk came along. Soros, like Bernie Sanders, seems to be fighting their Jewish history, being deniers in their own minds.  They do not seem to ever stand for Israel.

"On November 15, 2023, Twitter user Charles Weber, who identifies as a Jewish conservative, posted a video from StopJewishHate.org condemning the phrase "Hitler was right"; Weber captioned the video: "To the cowards hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and posting 'Hitler was right': You got something you want to say? Why don't you say it to our faces."

In response, a second user posted "Okay. Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them. I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much. You want truth said to your face, there it is."

To the latter user, Musk replied, "You have said the actual truth."   Musk further clarified that he doesn't believe that "all Jewish communities" hate white people, but specifically took aim at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). He added, "You [sic] right that this does not extend to all Jewish communities, but it is also not just limited to ADL."

The first tweet was widely regarded as echoing white nationalist sentiments and affirmed another antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews push "hatred against Whites". The following day, Musk made a tweet which critics regarded as supporting white prideAdvertisers distanced themselves from his tweets.

At the DealBook Summit on November 29, 2023, after comments from Disney CEO Bob Iger explaining his decision to stop advertising on X after Musk's recent post,

journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin questioned Musk about the withdrawal of advertisers.

Musk responded, "I hope they stop. Don't advertise" and "If somebody is going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go fuck yourself. Go fuck yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is"; Musk singled out Iger, saying, "Hey Bob, if you're in the audience." Musk acknowledged to Sorkin that one of his tweets—the one affirming an antisemitic conspiracy theory—was a mistake, saying, "I handed a loaded gun to those who hate me and to those who are antisemitic and for that I am quite sorry.Musk described his tweet as "one of the most foolish, if not the most foolish, thing I've done".

In January 2024, Musk visited the Auschwitz concentration camp with European Jewish Association Chairman Rabbi Menachem Margolin, conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro and Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev. He also spoke on a conference about rising antisemitism. The New York Times described the trip as a part of an image "rehabilitation tour".

Yet, what does he have against ADL ?  Founded in 1913, its timeless mission is “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” Today, ADL continues to fight all forms of antisemitism and bias, using innovation and partnerships to drive impact.

The ADL is described as a pro-Israel group. The Middle East historian Asaf Romirowsky described the organization as "left of center" politically.

The ADL tracked rapid growth in hate speech and harassment on Twitter after Elon Musk bought the social network in 2022. In early September 2023, Musk liked and replied to a tweet by the Irish white nationalist Keith Woods that called for banning the ADL from X, which was Twitter's new name under Musk.

Musk also accused the ADL of defamation and threatened to sue it, writing that advertising revenue was "still down 60%, primarily due to pressure on advertisers by @ADL (that's what advertisers tell us), so they almost succeeded in killing X/Twitter!"

The ADL said as matter of policy it did not comment on legal threats, but that it had recently met with X leadership including CEO Linda Yaccarino, who had thanked the ADL's CEO on the platform.

Greenblatt later praised Musk after he announced policy banning phrases such as "decolonization" and "from the river to the sea" on Twitter.[ The head of the ADL's Center for Technology and Society (CTS), Yael Eisenstat, reportedly quit in protest of the praise of Musk.

ADL has advanced the concept of new antisemitism, including a definition that says anti-Zionism and some criticisms of Israel are antisemitic. It has received criticism, including from members of its staff, that such advocacy has diverted ADL from its historical fight against antisemitism.

What is Zionism other than a movement to secure the Jewish return to

the Land of Israel.  It is the Jews who need and want to return. Isn't

someone who is anti-Zionistic against the Jews having the right to

return?  That's where Judaism started, with its history with Moses and

the Exodus.  Zionism started a little before WWI ended.  HERZL initiated

the First Zionist Congress in 1897.  Here, I believe ADL was RIGHT!!!!

January 31st 2025:

  • Musk has periodically faced criticism for engaging with antisemitic tropes, and has on multiple occasions promoted Holocaust deniers on X, his social media platform. But Musk’s Jewish defenders point to his visits in recent years to both Auschwitz and Israel.

I feel that visiting a place does not tell us how he feels about the place or the people.  He's simply gathering information.  We can hope it would affect him and feel what we feel, but there is no way to tell, except by his behavior later on, which is now.
I remember looking at his face when he saluted and his expression on it.  It was not a happy face, but a very determined expression on his face.

Minnesota, Michigan and Anti-Semitism

 Nadene Goldfoot

Minnesota used to be known for its Scandinavian population, but now it's known for its Democratic swing into anti-Semitism thanks to Ilhan Omar's attitude which is permeating around her.

Ilhan Abdullahi Omar (born October 4, 1982) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district since 2019. She is a member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party and also a member of the Squad as one of the original  4 members.   Before her election to Congress, Omar served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2017 to 2019, representing part of Minneapolis. Her congressional district includes all of Minneapolis and some of its first-ring suburbs.

Ilhan is Minnesota's first Black representative, not a native-born Black but is from Somalia, Africa and is also their 1st Muslim.

While she was in the Minnesota legislature, Omar was critical of the Israeli government and opposed a law intended to restrict the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement  After the election her position changed, first not for BDS, but as her campaign office told Muslim Girl that she supports the BDS movement despite "reservations on the effectiveness of the movement in accomplishing a lasting solution as her excuse."  She's now a US Representative.

The USA is said to be Israel's friend and co-worker in so many tasks involving security.  Ilhan goes against the position, evidently and is doing her best to break up the friendship.

Omar has voiced support for a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict which is Biden's position.   She criticized Israel's settlement building in the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank, again a Biden position.

Both go against Israel's position at the present.  After 73 years of waiting for a peace resolve from the Palestinians, Israel is far more realistic these days, dealing with many changes, such as the Abrahamic Accords, Iran and its base-Syria, and a growing population, plus their own native land of Judea and Samaria in case anyone ever reads the "Old Testament."

In 2018, Omar came under criticism for statements she made about Israel before she was in the Minnesota legislature. In a 2012 tweet, she wrote, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." The comment, particularly the notion that Israel had "hypnotized the world", was criticized as drawing on antisemitic tropes.

Tlaib and Omar, half of squad with Judy Chu, US Rep of California

Then-The New York Times columnist Bari Weiss wrote that Omar's statement tied into a millennia-old "conspiracy theory of the Jew as the hypnotic conspirator". When asked in an interview how she would respond to American Jews who found the remark offensive, Omar replied: "I don't know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish Americans. My comments precisely are addressing what was happening during the Gaza War and I'm clearly speaking about the way the Israeli regime was conducting itself in that war." After reading Weiss's commentary, Omar apologized for not "disavowing the anti-Semitic trope I unknowingly used" I can't buy the "unknowingly" bit.  Of course she knew what she was doing.

In September 2019, Omar condemned Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to annex the eastern portion of the occupied West Bank known as the Jordan Valley.   Omar said Israelis should not vote for Netanyahu in the September 2019 Israeli legislative election.

She's wasting her breath.  Israelis aren't about to listen to a Somali-born Muslim American who is all for BDS on how to vote for their own PM.  Who does she think she is?  That statement was for her constituents  in Minnesota who swing against Israel and Jews who are being helped along with her "Hypnotic"  pressure.

Working on free college tuition...not passing yet

On March 7, 2019, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 407–23 to condemn "anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism and other forms of bigotry" in response to Omar's remarks concerning Israel. On February 2, 2023, the Republican-led House of Representatives passed a resolution, on a party-line vote, to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee for what Speaker Kevin McCarthy called "repeated antisemitic and anti-American remarks." Many prominent House Democrats stood by Omar.

In August 2019, Omar and Representative Rashida Tlaib were banned from entering Israel, a reversal from the July 2019 statement by Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer that "any member of Congress" would be allowed in.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attributed the ban to Israeli law preventing the entry of people who call for a boycott of Israel (as Omar and Tlaib had done with their support for BDS). Netanyahu also cited Omar and Tlaib listing their destination as Palestine instead of Israel, claiming he thus viewed their visit as an attempt to "hurt Israel and increase its unrest". I have no doubt that he is correct.

Netanyahu also said that Omar and Tlaib did not plan on visiting or meeting with any Israeli officials from the government or the opposition, and additionally,

Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Miftah, and the problem of anti-Semitism within the movement for Palestinians' right to self-determination

accused Miftah, the sponsor of Omar's trip, of having members who support terrorism against Israel. In 2016, Israel approved a visit by five U.S. Representatives to Israel that Miftah co-sponsored, but that was before Israel enacted its anti-BDS law). Less than two hours before the ban, President Trump tweeted that Israel allowing the visit would "show great weakness" when Omar and Tlaib "hate Israel & all Jewish people". Omar said that Netanyahu had caved to Trump's demand and that "Trump's Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing".

The Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy, or MIFTAH, is an advocacy group that promotes Palestinian statehood and spreads anti-Israel propaganda. Headquartered in the West Bank, Miftah accuses Israel of occupying Palestinian lands and of crimes including “massacres,” “apartheid,” and “summary executions” of Palestinian youth.  The group has published postings lifted from a neo-Nazi website and endorsing the anti-Semitic “blood libel.” Miftah is a supporter of the controversial Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) pressure campaign to delegitimize Israel.  It regularly publishes articles questioning Israel’s right to exist, and has also written sympathetically of terrorists and suicide bombers. Miftah received media attention in 2019 when it offered to sponsor a trip by Representatives Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to “Israeli occupied territories,” prompting Israel to ban them from entering the country. Miftah , which had assets of $1,400,000 in 2018, receives funding from private donors as well as government sponsors.  Supportive governments include Norway, Germany, Ireland, and the European Union.

I could believe Norway and Ireland who have such reputations already that have reached my ears, but Germany and the EU? Really?  Such as it is, the whole world is against Israel as is written,  even those residing in the USA.  Keep the government open is the challenge-confabulated by Ilan Omar and her squad.

She responded to Netanyahu that she had intended to meet members of Israel's legislative Knesset and Israeli security officials. Who's going to believe that?  Come on....

Both Democratic and Republican legislators criticized the ban and requested that Israel rescind it. They are not in any position close to what Israel is facing.  I think that's chutzpa to expect that from Israel.  They know what they said. It only makes my blood boil, and I'm an American and Israeli Jew .

AIPAC released a statement saying that it disagreed with Israel's move and that Omar and Tlaib should have been allowed to "experience Israel firsthand", while the head of the American Jewish Committee put out a statement agreeing with AIPAC on the matter.   U.S. Representative Max Rose (who is Jewish) also criticized the move to ban Omar, adding that Omar and Tlaib did not speak for the Democratic Party.

My opinion, such as it is, is that such people as Ilan have been brain-washed enough so that entering Israel means she has a one-track mind which is to cause as much damage as possible.  She's not of the mind to learn and expand her mind.  She's already set her sails as to who she intended to see, and that was the Palestinians.  The trip is to only bring on more surrus for Netanyahu.  Had she stated she wanted to see Israel, Netanyahu wouldn't have banned her.  I'm surprised that both AIPAC and others didn't pick up on this.  Are they only speaking to their constituents as well?  I'm beginning to wonder......

Ilan Omar and Tlaib are not the first Americans banned by

Israel. People of powerful position who are against Israel are

not welcome.  They have enough problems from the Imans

who speak from other countries and instigate attacks. Norman Finkelstein was one of them.  His friend,

Noam Chomsky, was the other.

Update 3/2/2023:  CNN has reported about a 40 year old man

threatening Jewish  Michigan government workers on social mediaintent on killing them.

Am I surprised that Rashida Tlaib is the Rep

of Michigan?  No, I'm not.  She's the other original Squad member,

with parents of Palestinian Muslim descent in Congress.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel speaks at a campaign rally on October 16, 2022 in East Lansing, Michigan.  She is also the first Jew elected Attorney General of Michigan.  She's been threatened.  The  Anti-Semite is Jack Eugene

Carpenter.   Carpenter made threats against Jewish government officials in Michigan. One post read, in part: “I’m heading back to Michigan now threatening to carry out the punishment of death to anyone that is jewish in the Michigan govt if they don’t leave, or confess.” Carpenter continued his threats of violence in a second post, which read, in part: “I’ll be coming back to Michigan, still driving with expired plates. You may want to let everyone know, and Wayne County sheriff as well, any attempt to subdue me will be met with deadly force in self-defense.”

Carpenter has been arrested.  The FBI announced that it arrested a former University of Michigan employee who threatened to kill all Jewish elected officials in Michigan.

Jack Eugene Carpenter III, a resident of Tipton, Michigan, in some other wildly delusional posts, Carpenter declared himself the “King of Israel” and said he was forming a new country on his property called “New Israel.” He also asserted that if he got arrested for what he was saying, he would “get the lawyer removed due to conflict of interest because they are Jewish.”

Carpenter is now being held without bail on charges of transmitting an interstate threat, which carries with it a prison sentence of up to 5 years.

The suspect had previously tweeted that he “was fired for refusing to take experimental medication,” an apparent reference to the Covid-19 vaccines. He had been employed as a systems administrator at the University of Michigan for 10 years.  That job was: : Under general supervision, responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.

Carpenter had also previously been arrested on assault charges and for allegedly stealing a gun from an acquaintance.

Ayatollah Khamenei Asks For Our Jewish Origins? How About His?

Nadene Goldfoot

On Saturday, the Ayatollah Khamenei called for arming Judea and Samarian Arabs against Israel.  He did this through Twitter.  Could this be from coming to an agreement about the uranium use in Iran?  Now he feels free to clamp down on the Jews once again this way?

He also calls for a  referendum in which “all the original people of Palestine including Muslims, Christians and Jews” could vote, but from which “Jewish immigrants” would be excluded. They would vote on whether or not the Jews could remain in the country.   Of course he wants to eliminate Israel-get rid of all Jews.   Perhaps he should review the history of this part of the world with this map.

http://www.mapsofwar.com/images/EMPIRE17.swf  A lot of people, including Persians, have tried to take over Israel and Judah, and they have come and gone, but look who is back?  Israel.  And look who has been prophesied to be back?  Israel.  Baghdad still remains in the picture as well, I concede.  Not Persia, though.  It has the new name of Iran.

Iranians are not Arabs.  They speak Farsi.   They are not claiming any connection to Abraham.  Is the Ayatollah Khamenei trying to revive the Achaemenid Empire?  Persians were made up of the Medes, Parthians, Bactrians, Scythians. and the Avesta (Arya) people, which is where the name "Iran" comes from.    They also interpret the leader of Islam from a different part of Mohammad's ancestry than the Sunnis do.  Shi'a is contrary to the Sunni way of Islam if in just saying who they listen to.  It's caused reason to fight each other.

                                                      Persian noblemen and soldiers

We survived a planned Holocaust coming from Persia's underling to the throne, Haman.  The tables were turned on him and he and all his sons were hung by the king for such a plot to kill all Jews.  We will survive again.  I'm beginning to think that the Ayatollah must be related to Haman who was an Agagite, descended from Agag, king of Amalek.  Since Khamenei has called for a check on our Jewish origins, he has opened the door for me to call upon his.  What are Sayyid  Ali Khamenei's origins?  His parents were  Seyyed Javad Khamenei and Khadijeh Mirdamadi.  He was born in 1939 in Mashad, Khorasan Province, Iran.  A DNA test would tell us about his haplotype and where that comes from originally.  Jews lived for a long time in Persia also, and this is where Queen Esther, who saved the Jews from a holocaust of all being slaughtered, lived with King Ahasueros.  It would be shocking if the Ayatollah had some Jewish genes!

The Amaleks were an ancient people mentioned several times in the Bible (Torah).  They had a habit of being always hostile to Israel.  They were a nomadic people wandering between southern Eretz Yisrael and Canaan.  They attacked the Israelites in the desert near Rephidim shortly after the exodus and killed the weak and weary.  Finally they were defeated by the Israelite army under Joshua (Exod. 7; 8-13;  Deut. 25:  17-19).  So Israel has regarded the Amaleks as an eternal foe, the extermination of which was a national mission.  King Saul tried to do it but failed.  During the period of Judges of the 12th and 11th centuries BCE, Amaleks penetrated western Eretz Israel  at various points and their presence was a standing threat to the peace of the country.  In King David's time, Amalek invaded southern Judea and burned down the town of Ziklag.  David fought and defeated them heavily, but 400 escaped.

The tribe of Simeon overwhelmed the Amalekites and settled in their territory.  The name remained in rabbinic literature as a symbol of everlasting enmity to Israel, and Haman, the Agagite, is regarded as a descendant of Agag, their king.  Evidently, perhaps all the Arabs calling themselves Palestinian Arabs and Khamenei both are descendants.  Such constant hostility to Jews!

Iran gives money to terrorists already to attack Israel.  It's at a time when his own people are not doing very well with their internal financial situations.  Khamenei wants to have his cake and eat it, too, so he no doubt came up with a plan that will again put coffers in his treasury chest by lifting the ban on selling or buying from Iran as well as being able to slyly get around the ban of uranium development for his A bomb.

Last night I watched a CNN travelogue starring Anthony Bourdain who traveled to Iran..  The people were nice. I saw that they served him food of ground lamb mixed with a yogurt.  Very interesting; something we Jews find not kosher.  This type of meat preparation is done in Egypt, too.   It's too bad that their leader is so intent on destroying Israel.  It's a two-faced society of kindness but hatred from their religious and political  leader,  leading to destruction of  Israel, he hopes.
