What If Pacifying Iran By Moving Jews Out Of Israel?

 Nadene Goldfoot

Fleeing tourists leaving Israel in the midst of  Iran bombing Tel Aviv
Airspace is closed, so choosing a ship

Would Iran be satisfied if all Jews were moved out of Israel and the Middle East?  Would Iran leave "The Big Satan," the USA, alone and make peace?

What adds up to "PEACE" anyway;  letting Iran have nuclear inter-continental missiles with warheads of nuclear bombs?  In other words, not destroying the last nuclear sites of Iran such as Fordow in their zeal to destroy Israel and possibly all of the USA?

The old adage, "been there, done that," comes into play.  Many years ago there was a Jewish newspaper reporter, the non-religious Theodore Herzl, who was concerned about his people of eastern Europe  being wiped out by the pogroms and such;  the anti-Semitism spreading across Europe.  This was before Israel was even considered.

Find Kenya above; it's near that

He thought of just that;  buying land somewhere for Jews to call "HOME."   Doing research seriously, he came up with "Africa."

  • The Uganda Scheme: In 1903, the British government
  •  proposed a territory in East Africa (modern-day Kenya) for Jewish settlement as a temporary refuge from persecution in Europe.
  • Herzl's Initial Interest: Herzl, facing Ottoman resistance to a
  •  Jewish homeland in Palestine, saw the Uganda proposal as
  •  a potentially viable option for Jewish immigrants in immediate danger.
  • He presented the plan to the Sixth Zionist Congress in 1903 for evaluation.
  • Opposition and Rejection: The proposal met with strong
  •  opposition within the Zionist movement and from other
  •  groups, ultimately leading to its rejection at the Seventh
  •  Zionist Congress in 1905, after Herzl's death.
  • Emphasis on Palestine: Despite the debate, the Zionist
  •  movement reaffirmed its commitment to a Jewish
  •  homeland in Palestine as the ultimate goal.
Zionists debated with these reasons why Palestine was  their
land to return to and not Africa or other places:
Chaim Weizmann: chemist, Zionist leader, (1st president
of the state of Israel, born at Motel, near Pinsk, was director of
biological chemistry at Manchester,  connected with Herzl's
movement), opposed Uganda in 1903.
  • Weizmann developed a new process for producing acetone by fermenting carbohydrates, mainly starch from corn and potatoes.
  • This "Weizmann process" was vital because acetone was a key ingredient in cordite, a smokeless gunpowder essential for the Allied war effort.
  • Britain faced a severe shortage of acetone, as Germany was the main supplier of calcium acetate for its production.
  • Weizmann's process enabled the mass production of acetone in Britain, Canada, and the United States, which contributed to the Allied victory.  Because of his help, the Jews were led to believe that the
  •  Brits would carry out the Balfour Doctrine and Palestine
  • would become the Jewish Homeland once again.
  • Need for Refuge from Persecution: The rise of antisemitism in Europe, particularly the pogroms in Russia, prompted many Jews to seek a place of refuge and security. Zionists argued that a Jewish state in Palestine would provide a safe haven for Jews facing persecution.
  • Establishment of a Jewish Demographic Majority: Zionists aimed to create a Jewish state with a Jewish majority in Palestine, which they considered essential for their self-determination and security.
  • Historical and Religious Connection: Zionism is deeply rooted in the ancient Jewish connection to the Land of Israel, also known as Zion. For millennia, Jews have yearned to return to this land, which they see as their ancestral home, as expressed in religious practices and traditions. The Land of Israel is central to Jewish history and Judaism.
  • National Self-Determination: Early Zionists believed that Jews constitute a nation with a right to self-determination, similar to other nations at the time. They sought a territory where they could express their own national sovereignty and escape persecution as a minority.
  • Legal Basis: Some Zionists pointed to international
  •  agreements like the Balfour Declaration (1917), which
  •  expressed British support for a Jewish national home in
  •  Palestine, and the UN Partition Plan (1947), which proposed
  •  dividing Palestine into a Jewish and Arab state, as legal justifications for a Jewish state.
It is important to note that these Zionist motivations were not universally accepted, and there were differing viewpoints among Jews themselves, with some smaller religious groups opposing the Zionist movement and advocating for a divinely ordained return. Additionally, today, the Zionist movement has been criticized for its impact on the Palestinian population, leading to conflict and displacement.

Being that the King of Iraq and Syria was all for the Jewish
return (until he saw how riled up they had become due to
Husseini, the Sherif of Jerusalem, who was appointed by a
naive Jewish man of parliament by the Brits, towards their
return.  He started riots against Jews living in Palestine.
Chaim Weizmann and King Faisal I in Paris
"The King of both Iraq and Syria was Faisal I. He was the first King of Iraq (1921-1933) and also briefly held the title of King of Syria in 1920. He was a key figure in the Arab Revolt and played a significant role in the formation of the modern Middle East. "  He was an educated man, but his people were not.  He had hoped they would learn from the closeness to the Jews.

Our origins were in ancient Israel.  We've been forced to live in others' countries and treated badly, more  like 2nd class citizens at the best, and then there's the worst.  Even in the USA, anti-Semitism prevailed in New York and elsewhere in the 1920's.

So the Jewish people seem to be primed for the "Great Return Back,' that actually was prophesized.  It's happened, along with "Anti-Semitism elsewhere almost equaling what was going on in Germany in the 30's before the Holocaust.

Can't you imagine what would happen if Trump moved us all out of Israel and said, 'Here, Iran.  The cause of your angst is no longer there.  We can sign a peace treaty, and they would laugh in your face.  They would claim to be the winner and become the ruler of the whole world.  And as for the Jews, there would be no place where 7 million Jews could live, as all the anti-Semitism wouldn't allow it.

So don't hold your breath;  Jews are not leaving Israel.  We've waited for almost 2,000 years for this time to return to our ancient homeland, a homeland that greeted the Jewish people gladly, for it knew they could restore the swamps and deserts to fruitful areas once again.

So we're back to the drawing board pondering what to do to change Iran, a country once happily a friend of Israel until the Ayatollahs appearance.

Don't tell us to Fly us to the moon, either. I'd add that if Iran can't stand our survival, let them leave and fly to the moon, themselves.

Yes, there is a song called "Fly Me to the Moon"It was originally written by Bart Howard in 1954 and is famously associated with Frank Sinatra's 1964 recording. The song is also known by its original title, "In Other Words". Sinatra's version became closely tied to the Apollo missions to the moon, with Buzz Aldrin playing it upon landing on the moon.

Saving Our Enemy and How We Had Planned Our Jewish State In The First Place Including The Arabs

 Nadene Goldfoot

IDF in Hamas tunnel where hostages could have been kept...the scale of some of the tunnels demonstrate significant planning and resources. In mid-December, the Israeli military uncovered what it called the biggest tunnel to date. The passageway, wide enough to drive a car through, emerged in a sand dune at the northern edge of the Gaza Strip, just 100 meters south of Israel’s Erez military checkpoint, which controls all pedestrian access from Israel into Gaza.

Theodor Herzl in Basel, photographed during Fifth Zionist Congress in December 1901, by Ephraim Moses Lilien

When the IDF is fighting for Israel's life that has been threatened by Iran's octopus arms of Hamas in Gaza, shooting missiles, mortars, bombs of all sorts, as well as fires and drones, and then does something no other army has ever done to its enemy; warns their civilians and begs them to move away from the combat zone and why in order to preserve their life, and Israel is left without a friend in this whole world except the USA, I could just puke.  Israel has always put their civilian enemies first, and have done more than any other army in keeping them alive.  This time, however, our enemy, the terrorists of Hamas, have been using their people's lives to hide behind, not caring to let them be the fall-guy, and really die for them.  They hide their ammunition in schools, mosques, places no other sane people would do, and then dare Israel to come and get them. It's come to "doing it skillfully" or Israel as a nation and as a people will die.  Israel is now 77 years old after being in existence for about 3,000 years.  It seems puny, but worth the try.  Otherwise, we Jews no doubt would be facing another Holocaust as well as facing no Homeland.

Israel has, from the very beginning, been planning on that prayed for day when they would have a chance to regain their homeland that they had lost so long ago;  Israel, that had been shrunk through time to be left with just their 12th tribe; last tribe, Judah, from which the Jewish people come from-with a little mixed-in neighboring tribesmen after 70 CE (AD) when the Romans had occupied, then brutally taken their land, and burned it down, Temple of Solomon and all.

Theodor Herzl, journalist-1860-1904, social dramatist.  He was a Paris correspondent for the Vienna Neue Freie Presse.
Theodor Herzl
תֵּאוֹדוֹר הֶרְצְל

It was Theodore Herzl who had dreamed of a future day and had written a pamphlet about his ideas of a future Jewish state called THE JEWISH STATE.

He told  how they would handle it when they gained their land back.  Life had become unbearable for his people, constantly threatened by others of their lives with pogroms. They were barely 2nd class citizens to others, more like 3rd class with no rights whatsoever except by the head barons who wanted to use their knowledge, skills of writing and reading that didn't exist widely in these days.  Then they would be discarded like garbage, killed and spat upon.

Theodor Herzl (born May 2, 1860, BudapestHungary, Austrian Empire [now in Hungary]—died July 3, 1904, Edlach, Austria) was the founder of the political form of Zionism, a movement to establish a Jewish homeland. His pamphlet ( Der Judenstaat) The Jewish State (1896) which was written in German. In German, it was titled Der Judenstaat, which translates to "The State of the Jews". It was published in February 1896.

Herzl proposed that the Jewish question was a political question to be settled by a world council of nations. He organized a world congress of Zionists that met in Basel, Switzerland, in August 1897 and became the first president of the World Zionist Organization, established by the congress. Although Herzl died more than 40 years before the establishment of the State of Israel, he was an indefatigable organizer, propagandist, and diplomat who had much to do with making Zionism into a political movement of worldwide significance. It's ironic that the world has come to hate our word, "Zionist."  He had wonderful plans for his state that included the Arabs.

Der Judenstaat (Germanlit.'The State of the Jews', commonly rendered as The Jewish State) is a pamphlet written by Theodor Herzl and published in February 1896 in Leipzig and Vienna by M. Breitenstein's Verlags-Buchhandlung. It is subtitled with "Versuch einer modernen Lösung der Judenfrage" ("Proposal of a modern solution for the Jewish question") and was originally called "Address to the Rothschilds", referring to the Rothschild family banking dynasty, as Herzl planned to deliver it as a speech to the Rothschild family.

The book argues that after centuries of various restrictions, hostilities and frequent pogroms, the Jews of Europe had been reduced to living in ghettos. The higher class was forced to deal with angry mobs and so experienced a great deal of discomfort; the lower class lived in despair. Middle-class professionals were distrusted, and the statement "don't buy from Jews" caused much anxiety among Jewish people. It was reasonable to assume that the Jews would not be left in peace. Neither a change in the feelings of non-Jews nor a movement to merge into the surrounds of Europe offered much hope to the Jewish people:

"The Jewish question persists wherever Jews live in appreciable numbers. Wherever it does not exist, it is brought in together with Jewish immigrants. We are naturally drawn into those places where we are not persecuted, and our appearance there gives rise to persecution. This is the case, and will inevitably be so, everywhere, even in highly civilised countries—see, for instance, France—so long as the Jewish question is not solved on the political level."

Edmond de Rothschild with High Commissioner Herbert SamuelPalestine, 1920 (picture with Samuel-left- and Rothschild)

Baron Edmond de Rothschild rejected Herzl's plan, feeling that it threatened Jews in the Diaspora. He also thought it would put his own settlements in Palestine at risk. Remember;  England was the country that kept Jews out for 365 years!!!  Jews were readmitted to England in 1656 by Oliver Cromwell, more than 365 years after they were expelled in 1290 by King Edward I.   We finally entered, had Edmond in the banking business that England liked, and he doesn't know a thing about Husseini.

Baron Abraham Edmond Benjamin James de Rothschild (Hebrewהברון אברהם אדמונד בנימין ג'יימס רוטשילדromanizedHaBaron Avraham Edmond Binyamin Ya'akov Rotshield; 19 August 1845 – 2 November 1934) was a French member of the Rothschild banking family. A strong supporter of Jewish settlement in Palestine, his large donations lent significant support to the First Aliyah, which helped lead to the establishment of the State of Israel—where he is simply known as "The Baron Rothschild", "HaBaron" (lit.'The Baron'), or "Hanadiv Hayeduah" (lit.'The noble donator').  Throughout his life, the Baron invested more than five million pounds in their development; he purchased some 500 square kilometers of land in the Land of Israel and established dozens of moshavot, factories, and wineries.

According to historian Albert M. Hyamson, "Rothschild recognised that the overriding interest of the Jews of Palestine was the confidence and the friendship of their Arab neighbours. The interests of the Arab cultivators of the land he bought were never overlooked, but by development he made this land capable of maintaining a population ten times its former size." While Edmond de Rothschild was not always supportive of an inclusive government—he suggested in 1931 to Judah Magnes that "We must hold them (the Arabs) down with a strong hand"he acknowledged the importance of co-governance and peaceful coexistence in a 1934 letter to the League of Nations, stating that "the struggle to put an end to the Wandering Jew, could not have as its result, the creation of the Wandering Arab."

Gold Mall in Rishon LeZion  near Tel Aviv

Although Rothschild remained separate from the Zionist movement, and "rejected institutional and ideological Zionism," The Baron Rothschild became an avid supporter of Jewish settlement in Palestine financing the site at Rishon LeZion.

Herbert Louis Samuel, 1st Viscount Samuel (6 November 1870 – 5 February 1963) was a British Liberal politician who was the party leader from 1931 to 1935.  He was the first nominally-practising Jew to serve as a Cabinet minister and to become the leader of a major British political party. Samuel had promoted Zionism within the British Cabinet, beginning with his 1915 memorandum entitled The Future of Palestine. In 1920 he was appointed as the first High Commissioner for Palestine, in charge of the administration of the territory.

He is known for giving Husseini (1893-1974) the title and responsibility as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, (Hajj Mohammed Amin El Husseini) showing he knew nothing about the Arabs, their fears and dreams.  Husseini turns out to be the worst enemy of the Jews.  Samuel also made him the head of the Supreme Muslim Council.  It was he who organized all the public disturbances (riots, fighting) and he was caught and sentenced to exile in 1937.  From there he fled to Lebanon.  During WWII he participated in Rashid Ali's pro-axis coup in Iraq before going to Europe, where he assisted Hitler and was largely responsible for the liquidation of the Jews in the Moslem area of Bosnia.  In 1946 he escaped to Egypt.  After 1948,  actually set up a "Palestinian" government  in Gaza that was later moved to Cairo.

Jimmy Carter's Forked Tongue Slicing Away at Israel with BBC Reporter

Nadene Goldfoot
Could be Gaza after Operation Protective Edge or Syria after Assad's soldiers attack rebel communities.: Palestinian leaders kept civilians in harm's way though Israel gave plenty of warning-Israel went into Gaza to take out the sites where rockets, mortars, missiles were shot at them after months of pleading to stop the shooting.  This time Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were hit and all the 7.7 million Israeli population were hunkering down in bomb shelters.

This was a comment on live television. " BBC reporter Tim Willcox expressed regret after saying on television during the Paris unity rally that Palestinians “suffer hugely at Jewish hands,”
the Jerusalem Post reported.

While this BBC reporter apologized for linking anti-Semitic attacks in France to Palestinian ‘suffering’ at Israeli hands, Jimmy Carter, blames the Charlie Hebdo and the kosher supermarket attacks in France squarely on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  In doing so, he always blames Israel in the fracas.  He is well-known for blaming Israel and never the Arabs as he has written several books doing so.

I can't go back very far to tell you how Palestinians were treated  by Jews as there has never been a country of Palestine.  You know that it was the name used by the Romans after 135 CE for Israel and Judea.  So, calling Arabs "Palestinians" is a misnomer.  Jews were also referred to as Palestinians at the same time since they both lived on the land referred to as Palestine.  In 1948 with the pronouncement of Israel, the Jews and Arabs who remained and hadn't run away became Israelis.

Roman Arch of Titus, 70 CE, carrying off Temple goods

In the 1st century, 70 CE to be exact, the Roman Empire defeated the nation of Judea who had been a nation for over 1,000 years.  For 2,000 years it had never been a state for anyone while Jews kept on living there.  Then it became property of the Ottoman Empire who lost WWI along with Germany and the land was ceded to the Allies.  Iraq, Lebanon and Syria were then created.  It was then recognized as the Jewish national home once again.

Theodore Herzl, newspaper reporter (1860-1904)

Theodore Herzl had a dream.  He had dreamt of the perfect state for Jews where they would live by their neighbors  in peace.  This was in 1896 when Jews were returning to build homes in their old homeland.  Then he published his book about it, called Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State).  What is more logical than people to want to return to their own ancient homeland where all their history lay?  Herzl had started the Zionist movement with this book.  "The common denominator among all Zionists is the claim to Eretz Israel as the national homeland of the Jews and as the legitimate focus for the Jewish national self-determination."

The Arabs living there sold out and moved to more exciting places such as Paris, Beirut, Cairo, England.  A few remained.  Arabs from Syria roamed there and called themselves Syrian Palestinians. Arab and Jews who lived in the Palestine Mandate all had Palestine Mandate passports, but Arab residents were generally referred to as Arabs, not Palestinians.     Jews returning to their homeland from Russia escaping terrible pogroms entered in the 1880's and lived among the Arabs in their own camps, also trying to figure out how to make a living there.  Then end of the most terrible war of all times was 1917, and the Balfour Declaration was written.  The British were told to facilitate Jewish immigration and settlement of Palestine, so they made up their own rules and did such things as to let great numbers of Arabs into the land while they kept the Jews out.

While Emir Feisal, THE spokesman for all the Arabs, was in favor of the Jews' return, his nemesis, the Sharif of Jerusalem, the Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini was very much against it as he'd lose his coveted position.  He instigated pogroms and riots against the Jews at a time when Hitler was becoming powerful.  The two got together in Germany and plotted and schemed the death of Jews.

The Exodus of 1947, carried 4,554 Jewish refugees to Palestine,  seized by the British who killed 3 Jews in a battle.  The refugees were returned forcibly to Port de Bouc, France and refused to land there, disembarked at Hamburg, Germany by British soldiers. All were slaughtered in the Holocaust, of course.

The Jews bought the land from the Arab owners and paid the highest of prices for it, even when they were not legally bound to pay, according to the Hope Simpson Report in 1930.  The Jews bought 418,000 dunums (quarter acres) between 1878 and 1914, 58% was sold by non-Palestinian Arab absentee landlords and 36% by Palestinian absentee landlords, for a total of 94%.  This is recorded by the Palestinians-American historian, Rashid Khalidi.   It was found that much of the land bearing orange groves had been sand dunes or swamps and uncultivated land when it was bought.  Only Jews would buy such ugly land.  This comes from the Peel commission Report of 1937.  Jews took land nobody had wanted since they had to leave it, and they brought it back to life again.  It responded to their loving and respectful hands.

These Jewish pioneers went through all sorts of hardships, sickness and wretchedness.  They went without water for days and lived in cramped tents where various reptiles managed to find shelter also,  Their wives, children and mothers suffered as they fought off Bedouin raiders who were fancy free and enjoyed robbing for a living.  The Jews put in backbreaking labor by clearing the wasteland and draining the malarial swamps.  They planted trees in the hillsides and then built towns and villages.

They established agricultural colonies, men who had been kept from owning land and were kept from feeling soil in their fingers did it.  They had come in with the background of merchants, traders, silk road businessmen, loaners of money, but never farming and somehow they studied the situation and hit on the best methods.  Every traveler in Palestine was impressed by the beautiful stretches of prosperous cultivation abut them, and this was from the Jews, not the Arabs who had not done a thing for the land.  This is from the Interim Report on the civil Administration of Palestine to the League of Nations in June 1921.

Arabs came into the land to find work with the Jews.  The Grand Mufti turned them against Jews.  They attacked and were attacking at the time when the Jewish leaders were about to declare their state through the UN vote, and they kept on attacking immediately after the announcement.

Tell me, Jimmy Carter, how they suffered hugely in Jewish hands?  Any suffering they suffered was brought on by their own actions.  They greeted Jews on their birth not with bread and salt  but with spilling their blood with their hands.   It was less that 24 hours later after the announcement when Israelis were invaded by the armies of 5 Arab nations; Egypt, Syria, TransJordan, Lebanon and Iraq.  The IDF was created by the wave of the cane of Moses, just about,  and somehow they managed to defeat the invasion in 15 months of war where 6,000 lost their lives, which was 1% of their new nation of 650,000.  This was Israel's War of Independence from 1948 to 1949.

Ever since then the Arabs have not been friendly, to say the least.  Israel has been attacked, suicide bombers have blown up places with people, and there has been very little peace given to Israel by them.  And you dare to say that "Palestinians “suffer hugely at Jewish hands?”

Let me tell you something, Mr. former President.  For 66 years Jews have not had any peace and have had people try for force them into the sea so that they could take over their native land that they have built.  But after being forced to wander themselves for 2,000 years in Christian countries as well as Muslim ones, are not about to leave again.  If Palestinian Arabs don't want to suffer, then tell them it's simple;  treat the Jews like they would want to be treated.  It's the Golden Rule which we try to follow.  All they have to do is love their own children more than they have learned to hate Jews.  Quit pelting Israel with their rockets, mortars and missiles and popping up in their tunnels with intent to kill and steal our children.  But if they harm us, they will get harmed in return.  Get it?  When you attack Jews,  they will fight back.

What did Isaiah say about the Philistines?  "Do not rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, because the staff that beat you has been broken;  for from the root of the snake will emerge a viper, and his progeny will be a flying fiery serpent.  The foremost of the poor will then graze, and the destitute will lie down in security;  and I will kill your root with famine, and he will slay your remnant.  Wail, O gate!  Cry out, O city!  Melt in fear, O Phillistia, all of you!  For smoke comes from the North, and no one is isolated among his appointed troops  What will the messengers of the nation say?  That G-d has established Zion and in it the poor of His people take shelter."

The Philistines acted somewhat like the Palestinians in that when one of the Jews dies, they celebrate and pass out candy.  The Philistines were told not to rejoice over the death of the Davidic dynasty in this case, which had defeated them all along from David to Uzziah because Hezekiah was to emerge and would deal them a severe blow.  He would swoop down from the North onto the Philistine capital, GAZA, every one of his troops in full formation.
