Qatar has the audacity to want an apology from Israel for going after the planners of October 7, 2023 who were in Qatar while in a meeting. These Hamas leaders have been living there in the lap of luxury hotels. Here's the shocking history of Qatar and the terrorists and their connection to the USA and Israel.
Deciding to place a U.S. Air Force base in Qatar is not the action of a single American individual, but rather a decision made at the highest levels of the U.S. government and military. The process is a multi-step negotiation that involves presidential, diplomatic, and military leadership.
The American president during the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm) was George H. W. Bush. He ordered the organization of Operation Desert Shield in response to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait and subsequently announced the start of the coalition military action against Iraq in January 1991.
- 1992: Defense Cooperation Agreement.
- Following the Gulf War, the U.S. and Qatar established a defense agreement. This set the initial framework for military cooperation.
- 1996: Construction of Al Udeid.
- Qatar funded and built Al Udeid Air Base, which the U.S. would later use. At the time, U.S. military leaders—particularly in the Air Force—favored a move from Saudi Arabia due to restrictions imposed by the Saudis.
- 2002: Official agreement.
- President George W. Bush's administration formalized the U.S. presence at Al Udeid. This came after the base's use became critical for operations in Afghanistan following the September 11, 2001, attacks.
- The decision involved then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who visited the region to discuss troop commitments with allies.
- At the time, Preacher Qaradawi had been forced to leave Egypt because of his Muslim Brotherhood connection and found eager arms ready to aid and abet his goals in Qatar. Yusuf al-Qaradawi 9 September 1926 – 26 September 2022) was an Egyptian Islamic scholar based in Doha, Qatar, and chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars. He was best known for his programme الشريعة والحياة, al-Sharīʿa wa al-Ḥayāh ("Sharia and Life"), broadcast on Al Jazeera, which had an estimated audience of 40–60 million worldwide. He was also known for IslamOnline, a website he helped for establishment in 1997 and for which he served as chief religious scholar. What he preached about mostly was death to all Jews and Israelis. It was a never-ending brain washing. .Qatar loved him.
- Al-Qaradawi was a principal shareholder and former Sharia adviser to Bank Al-Taqwa. On 2 August 2010, the bank was removed from a list of entities and individuals associated with Al Qaeda maintained by the United Nations Security Council. Just think; the UN Security Council and Al Qaeda's money through Qaradawi !!!
- In fact, the Al Taqwa Bank (occasionally Bank al Taqwa or simply Al Taqwa) is a financial institution incorporated in 1988. It is based out of The Bahamas, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. The Bank was accused by the United States of having links to Islamist terror organizations, alleging that it was a major source of funds for the operations of Osama bin Laden and his associates.
- So all this time, the USA has had the opportunity to know and understand who they were in cahoots with when befriending Qatar.
- Qatar was housing with their blessing, Hamas terrorists, the enemy of Israel.
- The truth is a request from the U.S.: The United States requested that Qatar host Hamas's political leadership starting in 2012 to create an indirect channel for communication.
- Financial support: With coordination and approval from Israel and the U.S., Qatar provided hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Gaza, partly to cover government salaries, which helped sustain Hamas rule. While hosting Hamas, Qatar was also a major U.S. ally, hosting the largest American military base in the Middle East at Al Udeid Air Base.
- Security Cabinet: Israel's security cabinet formally approved the Qatari payment plan in August 2018.
- Biden administration: President Biden's administration continued to coordinate with Qatar on aid and mediation efforts, although it also faced congressional pressure over Qatari influence and alleged Hamas funding.
Citing sources familiar with the talks, the news outlet reported that the demand, put forward by Qatari emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, was raised during US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s talks this week in Jerusalem and Doha, as well during US special envoy Steve Witkoff’s meeting in London with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer."
