Anti Semitism, Muslim Brotherhood Entered Qatar Despite Americans

Sheikh Tamim founded Qatar Sports Investment in 2004, which owns the Paris Saint-Germain football club;  now Emir Tamim since 2013.

Qatar has been aiding and abetting Qatar's Hamas terrorists for years while buttering up to the USA, making economic deals that sealed their deals of protection for this two-faced country.

The royal family of Qatar had allowed the Muslim preacher, Qaradawi, a home  in Qatar after he was kicked out of Egypt for promoting the Muslim Brotherhood.

His connection with the Muslim Brotherhood led to imprisonment under King Farouq in 1949, then three more times during the term of President Gamal Abdul Nasser. He left Egypt for Qatar in 1961, and did not return until the overthrow of the military regime by the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.  So the royal family of Qatar embraced him.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani became the Emir of Qatar in 2013 after succeeding his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. The Al-Thani family has ruled Qatar since its establishment, with 11 members holding the title of Emir.  According to Bloomberg, the royal family’s net worth surpasses $335 billion, making them one of the world's wealthiest dynasties. Sheikh Tamim's personal fortune is estimated to exceed $2 billion, though exact figures remain undisclosed. Their wealth comes not only from Qatar’s energy reserves but also from a vast global investment portfolio.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a transnational Islamist organization founded in Egypt in 1928 by Hassan al-Banna. It is an influential Islamist movement with the core belief that Islam governs all aspects of life, advocating for a gradual Islamization of society to form a purely Islamic state. The organization has spread globally, taking on different forms to adapt to local conditions while maintaining a common vision. While it provides social services and has been involved in politics, it has also been associated with violence, terrorism, and support for groups like Hamas, leading to bans and designations as a terrorist organization by various countries, including Austria.

"Yusuf al-Qaradawi moved from Egypt to Qatar in 1961 to become a religious teacher and avoid persecution for his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, according to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Al JazeeraHe became a prominent figure in Qatar, eventually gaining citizenship and becoming a spiritual leader for millions.

Indeed, recognising the significance of his scholarship and influence, Al Jazeera Arabic dedicated a weekly programme on which al-Qaradawi began participating in the very same week that the channel started broadcasting in 1996.  Al-Qaradawi’s weekly prime-time religious show, al-Shariʿa wa-l-Ḥayah (The Sharia and Life), was at its peak one of the pan-Arabic channel’s most popular shows with tens of millions of viewers."

"Al-Qaradawi was sometimes described as a "moderate Islamist". Some of his views, such as his condoning of Palestinian suicide bombings against Israelis, caused reactions from governments in the West: he was refused an entry visa to the United Kingdom in 2008, and barred from entering France in 2012."

  • Evidently the USA has had long-standing military ties with Qatar: The U.S. military has used Qatar as a base for operations for a long time.
  •  In 1996, Qatar built Al Udeid Air Base, and the U.S. began using it in 2001 for operations in Afghanistan. The base also serves as the forward headquarters for U.S. Central Command.

However, it seems that the USA ignored Qatar's formercompliance with the Muslim Brotherhood and Qaradawi, and the U.S. used Qatar as a major airport and staging point for the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan in August 2021. This was part of Operation Allies Refuge, which became the largest noncombatant evacuation in U.S. military history.

Donald Trump has faced criticism from Democrats and Republicans alike for accepting the Qatari 747-8 aircraft (Boeing 747)  "Have we already forgotten that Trump has accepted the bribe birthday gift of a jet plane from Qatar?  That even seems to soften the deal of not rocking the boat with Qatar over Hamasheads hiding out in luxury hotels in Qatar while they dictate totheir underlings in Gaza.   Oh yes, it seems the jet will need several millions invested to update the interior to our specifications.   The Boeing aircraft - valued at $400m (£300m) - is being donated by Qatar as an "unconditional" gift, with any necessary retrofitting costs being borne by the US government."  A Boeing 747 is refueled with Jet A or Jet A-1, a kerosene-based fuel.
