How Hamas Lost The Battle; Refuses Accept Facts Of War

Nadene Goldfoot

Egypt just came up with an announcement  that is easy to see that they are siding with Hamas terrorists against Trump's peace plan of disarmament.

The president of Egypt today is Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who has held office since June 2014. Ideological Friction: El-Sisi views Hamas through the lens of domestic security, given its historical roots as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood—an Islamist movement banned and suppressed by el-Sisi's administration.  Pragmatic Accommodation: Despite initial hostility, Egypt pragmatically engages Hamas out of necessity, requiring its cooperation for border stability and functioning as the primary interlocutor between Hamas, Israel, and international partners.

Senior Egyptian officials reportedly told senior U.S. officials that the only way to bring about Hamas’ disarmament would be under Israel’s next government.

October 7, 2023 attack on Israel

The large-scale war and major attacks launched by Hamas against Israel began in 2023 (on October 7). However, Hamas has carried out intermittent attacks, rocket fire, and suicide bombings against Israel since the group's founding in 1987.

The war has gone on for 39 years!!!  Israel backs up Trump's words:  President Donald Trump's Board of Peace roadmap for Gaza specifies that the territory will be governed under the principle of "One Authority, One Law, One Weapon."

Heavy Armaments & Infrastructure:   The roadmap mandates a structured process to "decommission and store heavy weapons, military production sites, depots of weapons, and tunnels".

Surrender, in military terms, is the relinquishment of control over territory, combatants, fortifications, ships or armament to another power.

This is because Trump's expectation is of a 100% giving up of the arms of Hamas terrorists.

1. Germany in World War II: Surrendered unconditionally, and the Allies disarmed its military completely.

2. Japan in World War II: Handed over weapons and accepted Allied military occupation and disarmament...

3. Confederate States of America in the American Civil War: Surrendered armies stacked arms and turned over equipment to Union forces.

They said they had no expectation of meaningful progress under Israel’s current government and warned that Hamas would only grow stronger.  (I don't believe Israel will ever allow that to happen. This is just a fear tactic, )

Following Jared Kushner’s meeting in Egypt with senior Hamas officials, sources told Saudi-owned Al Arabiya that Kushner and Mladenov had rejected a Hamas proposal concerning the storage of its weapons.

According to the report, they insisted that Hamas surrender its weapons and dismantle its military infrastructure.

Israel's Importance to USA

 Nadene Goldfoot

What?  That little bitty country, Israel,  important to the massive United States?  Some see it as a weight on the back of the USA, even blaming the war on Israel saying they forced the the USA to join it with them.  If there ever was poppycock, that idea is it.

Actually, Israel is compared with New Jersey the most with New Jersey having 7,787 sq. miles and Israel with 10,762 sq. miles. By comparison, Oregon spans a total area of 98,381 square miles (254,800 square kilometers), ranking as the 9th largest state in the US. This includes roughly 95,996 square miles of land area, with the remaining balance made up of inland and coastal waters.

Here is a surprise as to why Israel is important.  It's playing a Round Robin act with the USA.  USA loans money to Israel to buy arms, and the catch is the arms must be bought from the USA.  This has kept them both happy; as it gives the workers in the USA jobs.  So the money is supporting Americans.  This is explained in detail in Money in Israel and How It  Is Spent

https://jewishbubba.blogspot.com/2026/06/money-for-israel-and-how-it-is-spent.html

  • The 2024 Israel Security Assistance Support Act (H.R. 8369): Passed the House by a vote of 224-187 . This GOP-led bill did not eliminate arms; it aimed to do the exact opposite by forcing President Biden to deliver withheld heavy bomb shipments to Israel. Biden opposed the bill and threatened a veto .
  • Section 224 of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA): This is a provision in the defense policy bill that would institutionalize deep military-industrial and technological integration between the U.S. and Israel (covering areas like AI, cyber, and autonomous weapons).
  •  The House Rules Committee blocked a bipartisan amendment by:
Ro Khanna, Rohit "Ro" Khanna (born September 13, 1976) is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. representative from California's 17th congressional since 2017.
Thomas Harold Massie is an American politician and engineer. A member of the Republican Party, Massie has been the United States representative for Kentucky's 4th congressional district since 2012.
  •  Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie intended to strip Section 224 from the broader legislation.  This means that Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie intended to strip Section 224 (later renumbered as Section 219) from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to stop the unprecedented military and technological integration of the U.S. and Israeli militaries. They argued that the provision compromised U.S. sovereignty and drew America too deeply into foreign conflicts.
  • There will be no vote on the specific amendment to strip Section 219 from the National Defense Authorization Act . The House Rules Committee blocked the bipartisan amendment (introduced by Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna), ensuring it will not receive a public debate or recorded vote .
  • While a vote on the amendment was prevented, the broader defense bill (H.R. 8800) containing Section 219 is advancing to the floor.
  • Life is not easy for Israelis.  They have had many enemies.
  • Israel's seven-front war—largely orchestrated by the "Axis of Resistance" led by Iran—includes the following theaters of conflict:
    • "Gaza: The primary front following the surprise attack on October 7, 2023, featuring intense urban warfare and hostage crises."  From here spewed much hatred and extreme killings.
    • "Lebanon: Fought against Hezbollah, which launched thousands of rockets and engaged in heavy cross-border skirmishes." Now Lebanon said they would allow Israel to fight, which is protecting both Israel and Lebanon.
    • "Iran: The leadership and orchestrator of the proxy network, involving direct missile and drone exchanges". The cause of all the others to fight Israel, being paid or religious reasons as most are Shi'a's.
    • Yemen: Fought against the Houthis, who targeted southern Israel and international shipping lanes with ballistic missiles and drones.
    • Iraq: Fought against various Iranian-backed Shia militias launching drones and projectiles toward Israeli territory.
    • "Syria: Confronted militant factions and Iranian entrenchment, resulting in frequent Israeli airstrikes."President is former terrorist leader, known as Jolani,  selecting henchmen to be in government; treatment of citizens badly, put in prisons, etc.
    • The West Bank Judea-Sumeria) : An area of localized unrest, clashes, and counter-terrorism operations involving various Palestinian armed groups.
These engagements range from full-scale military offensives to targeted strikes and covert operations .

When Friends inadvertently Or Knowingly Profit Financially From Your Deaths

     Nadene Goldfoot

Egypt is such a friend who has inadvertently and even at times with certain people, profited from the deaths of Israelis.  They had a population of 111 million people in 2022.  Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.  The 69 year old has been president of Egypt since 2014; for the past 10 years.

Take the Rafah Crossing.  Four months ago, The Guardian Org. wrote about what it took for a Palestinian to use this crossing.  The Rafah Border Crossing is the sole crossing point between Egypt and Palestine's Gaza Strip. It is located on the Egypt–Palestine border.

On 7 September 2005, Israel withdrew from Gaza and closed the Rafah crossing. The Philadelphi Accord between Israel and Egypt, based on the principles of the 1979 peace treaty, turned over border control to Egypt, while the supply of arms to the Palestinian Authority (the PA) was subject to Israeli consent. The agreement specified that 750 Egyptian border guards would be deployed along the length of the border, and both Egypt and Israel pledged to work together to stem terrorism, arms smuggling, and other illegal cross-border activities.

Perhaps Israel has been very busy lately fighting off Hamas and now  they have allowed terrorists, arms smuggling, and  other  illegal activities to take place.

"Palestinians desperate to flee Gaza pay thousands in bribes to ‘brokers.’Fixers with alleged links to Egyptian intelligence are making a fortune in ‘fees’ from people hoping to exit through the Rafah crossing".

Israel is aware that this has been going on.  "Talks between Israel, Egypt and the United States aimed at reopening the Rafah Border Crossing  between Gaza and Egypt remain at an impasse over Israel’s refusal to accept any involvement from the Palestinian Authority in the management of the border terminal, according to a US and an Israeli official".

Israel, Egypt and the US held a high-level meeting on Sunday to discuss the issue, which the State Department claimed had been constructive, but the two officials speaking to The Times of Israel on Friday said Israel and Egypt remain at odds.

    Why it matters:

Reopening the crossing on the border of Egypt and Gaza, preventing Hamas from smuggling weapons into the Strip from Egypt and maintaining a tenuous peace between Israel and Egypt are top priorities for the Biden administration.  This is the major reason for Israel as well.

They don't trust the PA, either who might smuggle weapons for Hamas.  "During a meeting of Israel's security cabinet ahead of the talks in Egypt, Netanyahu said he doesn't agree to any role for the Palestinian Authority at the Rafah crossing, according to two sources with knowledge of the meeting".

The Gaza Strip has been home to smugglers from time immemorial, but Israel's 2005 unilateral disengagement and withdrawal created a new dynamic. In the aftermath of the replacement of Israeli soldiers along the Egyptian border by Palestinian Authority security forces, smuggling increased slightly. Following the collapse of the Palestinian unity government and the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip in 2007, however, arms smuggling spiked dramatically -- whereas prior to Israel's disengagement approximately one ton of weapons was smuggled in each year, under Hamas's rule the figure has been closer to one hundred tons per year.
