Politics in Israel Lead to Proving Lies of Information-to Believe Or Not

Shlomi Eldar (Hebrew: שלומי אלדר; born February 11, 1957) and now 67 is an Israeli television journalist and film maker. He served as a reporter and editor for Channel 1 between 1990 and 2003 and a reporter for News 10 on Gaza Strip affairs from 2003 to November 2012.  As a correspondent Eldar interviewed important figures in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict such as Israeli Prime Ministers Shimon Peres and Yitshak Rabin, and was the first Israeli journalist to interview PLO president Yasser Arafat.^[3] In 2006, after Hamas won the 2006 Palestinian legislative election, Eldar interviewed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh for his only interview ever to an Israeli news organization.

I can find neither picture nor  information as to Ruti Yuval.  Sorry Ruti, surely you must have been a help to Shlomi.

Has anyone ever tried sending secret information to Prime Minister Netanyahu?  Shlomi Eldar and Ruti Yuval evidently have written a book including their limited experience doing just this, and I feel have made an incorrect conclusion about it.  

I have done it to both our local FBI and CIA, and finally, knowing I have Netanyahu's address, to him thinking I get get it straight to him, so why worry about these other sources.

Such a man as a Prime Minister with known direct email could receive tons of mail in a day.  He would have a secretary choosing what to look at for him.  The secretary would be the one sending it to Mossad or to Netanyahu himself.  Most alerting something bad would go to Mossad or their related groups.  

Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also known as MBZ or MbZ, is an Emirati royal and politician who has served as the third president of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi since 2022 and was from 2014 until 2022 the de facto leader of the United Arab Emirates..  I am a resident of Brookdale Ass. Living and one of my CT is from UAE, so wonderful.  USA and Israel have good relations with UAE.

They have indicted, practically, the United Arab Emirate, Mohammed bin Zayed, as a person who actually telephoned the PM about 10 days before the horrendous day of October 7, 2023 and gave him a warning about Hamas planning some sort of a very large operation by thinking it went to him directly like a letter .  

Does anyone ever worry about the translations of Arabic to English? or to Hebrew?  As a native American, I have lived in Israel and did study Hebrew during the whole 6 years there, working, at a mature-enough age of 46; and up, and it's no easy job if you're not so blessed with ease of other languages.  Latin was my exposure.   Did Zayed realize what was asked of him?  

Mossad is the national foreign intelligence agency of Israel, responsible for covert operations, intelligence collection, and counter-terrorism abroad.  He should have contact them directly.  Though the UAE head is most important to the PM, it is something that the PM's secretary would have sent to Mossad anyway and not give to the PM directly. 

Netanyahu's office is denying that Netanyahu ever received such a message.  There never was a conversation of warning or a warning to him directly.

Of course not.  That's not the way he receives news, bad or good directly.  Israel has many secret spies all over the country who report such things without pay when they hear or know of something. 

 Unpaid volunteer assistants who provide local or logistical support to Mossad are called sayanim (singular: sayan) in Hebrew.The Emiratis just issued a "no comment."

Major General Abbas Kamel is an Egyptian retired military officer who serves as a presidential adviser and coordinator for security apparatuses. He was the Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate between 2018 and 2024. He was previously the Chief of Staff to the President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The book continued telling of another unheeded warning, writing that   Three days before the attack on Israel, Egyptian intelligence chief, General Abbas Kamel,   contacted Netanyahu's office and relayed a message warning that something unusual, a horrific operation was about to take place from Gaza.  

Egyptian intelligence had remarked they were stunned by the indifference displayed in Israel.  Now the interesting factor is that the UAE is part of the Abraham Accords and is a friend of Israel.   Egypt is not part of the Abraham Accords, but it did sign a historic peace treaty with Israel on March 26,1979. Anwar Sadat (President of Egypt) and Menachem Begin (Prime Minister of Israel) signed the agreement. The Camp David Accords in 1978 served as the framework for this peace deal. Egypt became the very first Arab nation to officially recognize and make peace with Israel. 

The General Intelligence Service (Egyptian Arabic: جهاز المخابرات العامة Gihaz El Mukhabarat El ‘Amma; GIS), often referred to as the Mukhabarat (Egyptian Arabic: المخابرات El Mukhabarat) is an Egyptian intelligence agency, and secret police force, responsible for providing national security intelligence, both domestically and internationally. My question is, was it really General Abbas Kamel who they talked to as a reference to this indifference?  Does a general really talk to a stranger?  According to Wikipedia, Kamel has already been replaced.  Abbas Kamel (2018–2024)  Hassan Rashad (2024–present).

 "Egyptian sources" (who) said the response to the Egyptian intelligence chief was that the IDF and Israeli security forces were "preoccupied" with dealing with cities in the West Bank from which terrorist attacks against Israel were being carried out. Well, that's true.  That's what their concern is. 

My contention is that possibly all the players in this article may have thought they were getting their information directly to Netanyahu, but perhaps not.  I will never know what happened to my information I passed onto any of my contacts, the FBI, CIA or Netanyahu himself.  They  are not like a few Senators who answer back with a thank you.  I sure wish that were possible with secret information but it isn't.  Over the phone, unless it's your husband or wife, one may not recognize who is answering that you talk to.

To Be Or Not To Be Afraid of Term, ZIONISM

Wonder woman is a Zionist.  The connection between Wonder Woman and Zionism stems entirely from the real-world casting of Israeli actress Gal Gadot as the superhero in the DC Extended Universe. Fictional character Diana of Themyscira predates modern Israel, but Gadot's public identity as an Israeli who served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has made the franchise a lightning rod for political debate.  She is standing in front of an exploding volcano, the Iranian country trying to wipe our her country.  Yes, I'm with Gadot in having a political debate.  

Being that I'm 92 years old, I am not cringing at the term, ZIONISM.  It's a belief of my era, something that brought me BACK  into the fold of my people. 

Yet I am reading that OTHERS have taken away it's soul  and have been demeaning it, crushing it into soil of their lands, making it verboten to use.  

Let me tell you again, about Zionism.  We'll start with Zionists from history: Max Brod (1884–1968), Zionist from 1912, Rachel Cohen-Kagan (1888–1982), , later Israeli politician Albert Einstein (1879–1955), Eldad (1910–1996) 

What was this movement that they were all hepped up about?

Zionism is a movement that supported making a home for Jewish people in the historic land of Israel. Famous historical figures include Theodor Herzl, who started modern political Zionism, and David Ben-Gurion, the first prime minister of Israel

Why did they want their own home?  Where were they already living?  They were a scattered people, a small group, found all over the world in little pockets,  many as 2nd class citizens, considered the scapegoat of the world, the wanderers who were recluses, not joining their churches.  They were objects of being picked on always, injured, killed in pogroms, and were the indigenous people from ancient Israel, of Judea, as we were Jews from there.  They were a people who could read and write and do math where others couldn't causing jealousy along with causing education, knowledge, and the aid to kings that needed their skill. They were blamed for the bad weather, whatever, ...enough.

Theodor Herzl: Writer and journalist who organized the first Zionist Congress in 1897.

Chaim Weizmann: Chemist and leader who helped get the 1917 Balfour Declaration and became Israel's first president.

David Ben-Gurion: Main founder and first prime minister of Israel.

Golda Meir: Early political pioneer and the fourth prime minister of Israel.

Louis Brandeis: American Supreme Court Justice and leader of US Zionism.

Henrietta Szold: Founder of Hadassah, the women's Zionist organization. 

Modern Pro-Israel Public Figures

Gal Gadot: Israeli actress who has openly supported Israel.

Jerry Seinfeld: American comedian who has visited and voiced support for Israel.

Gene Simmons: Musician known for vocal public support of Israel.

Mayim Bialik: Actress and author who frequently speaks about her Zionist views.  

The Zionism movement carried on into the 1920's with 

 the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann and Emir Faisal (later King of Syria and Iraq) signed the Faisal-Weizmann Agreement on January 3, 1919. The pact promoted Arab-Jewish cooperation for a future Arab state and a Jewish national home in Palestine, though it ultimately collapsed amid shifting colonial mandates.  

You could say:  Conflicting Visions: Faisal pursued a unified, independent Greater Syria, while Weizmann championed Jewish settlement aspirations in Palestine.

The Mandate Outcome: The conference deferred Middle East decisions, leading to the San Remo resolution where France took control of Syria and Britain took Palestine.

Zionism had been limited until the 19th century by Jews, but then, as times changed, so did their ideology.  Its form was religious and expressed most commonly in the traditional liturgy, pseudo-messianic movements, and in limited Aliyah (moving back to Israel).  Later on, late 19th Jews from Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, used Hibbat Zion movements, producing literature about it.  They held a big conference about it in 1897.  They realized and stated in writing that Jews are still a people, like Italians are a people, too many that our religion of Judaism would not continue if we all assimilated, which we refused to do;  the days of Hellenism long gone, and wished to retain their identity as a national community.  

It is normal to want to be from your own country.  We were forced out by the Romans and kept from returning on threat of our lives.  We tried assimilation;  it didn't work.

John Bolton, Friend of Israel

                                Bolton in 2023,  soon to be 77 years old, a Yale graduate, born in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Virginia Clara "Ginny" (née Godfrey), a housewife, and Edward Jackson "Jack" Bolton, a Baltimore fireman.He grew up in the working-class neighborhood of Yale Heights, and won a scholarship to the McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland, graduating in 1966.

Our friend, while out of his home by 7am, was just invaded by the FBI when only his wife was home. The is the 2nd time his home has been searched for anything that can prove something.  It was pictured by CNN who did the morning story. "FBI agents raided the Maryland home and Washington, DC office of President Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton Friday morning in a high-profile national security probe involving classified documents."  " Trump’s former national security adviser, according to a person familiar with the matter. Trump told reporters he knows “nothing” about the probe but expects to be briefed later today.

The FBI conducted a court-authorized search at former Trump national security advisor John Bolton’s home as part of a national security investigation, according to a person familiar with the matter. CNN's Kate Bolduan talks to former FBI deputy director, Andrew McCabe about why this search may have happened. The investigation is focused on the potential criminal release of classified information, the source added. An FBI spokesperson confirmed "court authorized activity" in the area of Bolton's home in the Washington suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. (Reuters) 

John Robert Bolton (born November 20, 1948) is an American attorney, diplomat, Republican consultant, and political commentator. He served as the 25th United States ambassador to the United Nations from 2005 to 2006, and as the 26th United States national security advisor from 2018 to 2019. He has been involved with every aspect of American politics that one can imagine, a man knowing all our history.

Bolton is known for his strong support for Israel. Bolton opposes the two-state solution of creating an independent Palestinian state alongside the existing state of Israel. Bolton supported moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem in accordance with the Jerusalem Embassy Act, and he testified in front of Congress in 2017 on the matter.

 In 2010, Bolton co-founded the Friends of Israel Initiative with 12 other international figures.

President Trump, joined by Bolton and Netanyahu behind, signs the proclamation recognizing Israel's 1981 annexation of the Golan Heights, March 25, 2019.

Bolton supports what he calls the "Three State Solution" in order to determine the political status of Gaza and the West Bank. Under Bolton's Three State Solution, Israel would annex settlements it has built in the West Bank since the conclusion of the Six-Days War in 1967, Egypt would annex and administer the Gaza Strip, and Jordan would annex and administer the remaining portion of the West Bank not annexed by Israel. Bolton's Three State proposal would not result in the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

Bolton opposed the 2023 Gaza war ceasefire. In December 2023, he proposed resettling Palestinians from Gaza. In April 2024, Bolton said that the Gaza war "is an Iranian war against Israel, fought through terrorist proxies", and the only way to end the suffering of the people of Gaza "is to eliminate Hamas, which is the cause of the suffering."
