Distance from Israel to Yemen is 2,211 km; or 1,373.852 miles: War has been going on between Yemen and the United States and Yemen and Israel. Houthis have repeatedly attacked ships transiting the Red Sea in response to Israel's war on Hamas. Houthis are Iran's arm, raining missiles on Israel.

The Houthis are an extremist Shia-Islamist movement and terrorist army. Backed by Iran, this organization controls approximately one-third of Yemen’s territory and more than two-thirds of the country’s population. It has emerged as a prominent player in the Israel-Hamas war, which began on October 7 with a mass murder attack by Hamas on Israelis.

Since late 2023, Houthi terrorists have fired near daily ballistic missiles and suicide drones at Israel and ships in the Red Sea – most of them intercepted by Israel’s multi-layered air defense system or U.S. warships in the Red Sea – and have violated international maritime law by hijacking commercial ships sailing in the Red Sea, posing a direct threat to international shipping and the global economy.

This Houthi is on the web all the time shrieking his anti-Semitic statements. Yemen is aided and abetted by Iran who has really stirred them up.

The USA had a 16 manned meeting on Monday that was through Signal email where a journalist was also accidently added on about War Plans of the USA; an attack on Yemen -Houthis, which was about to take place in 2 hours and actually did!

Books were used as well as over 5 yrs of living in Israel. When I moved permanently to Israel in 1980 from Portland, OR, I was ready for the surprises, expecting them. I have dual citizenship and am so thankful and defend Israel all the time, having good reason to do so. Good grief!
