Disney's Snow White's Movie Anti-Semitic Towards Gal Gadot

When I was a little girl, I was brought up with stories by the Grimm Brothers such as Snow White and loved it.  

The Brothers Grimm's original "Snow White" story, published in 1812, features a princess named Snow-White (Schneewittchen in German), a jealous queen, a magic mirror, and seven unnamed dwarfs, with a darker narrative than Disney's version. 

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress and model who rose to fame for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe. She also played Gisele in the Fast and the Furious franchise and the Evil Queen in Disney's live-action Snow White. Gadot is the first Israeli actor to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Before becoming an actress, Gadot served in the Israeli Defense Forces and was crowned Miss Israel.                                        

In the Disney version, Gal Gadot was cast as the evil queen, mother of Snow White. 

The 5'8" or 5'10" Gadot was born: April 30, 1985 (age 39 years), in Petah Tikva, Israel.  She also, as most all women in  Israel, did service in the IDF. 

Now Gadot is facing an anti-Semitic campaign after its trailer release in California.  Pro-Palestinian users have criticized Gadot's casting as the Evil Queen and called for a boycott of the film, citing her Israeli background and previous military service.  It is to play this month in theaters. Anti-Semitism is showing hatred for Jews.  This is terrible !  

Comments on social media have called for Disney to “reshoot the evil Zionist Gal Gadot” and said “Gal Gadot will treat Snow White the same way her Zionist counterparts treat Palestinians”.

   Crowned Miss Israel, Gal Gadot:  

Calls have also gone out for the film to be boycotted. “Don’t support this movie,” one commenter said. Another posted: “The Zionist soldier baby-killer Gal Gadot is the perfect casting for the Evil Queen. Boycott this movie and any movie Gal Gadot takes part in”.

    Gadot in Wonder Woman in 2004.  To most of the world, Gal Gadot is known as the star of Wonder Woman, the most famous female superhero and one of the biggest feminist icons. The 32-year-old actress was making her own country proud more than a decade ago. Before her rise to international fame, the 5'8" star was chosen as Miss Israel 2004—winning a crown and a Citroën C3 supermini car. During the pageant, she and 19 other finalists performed a Hebrew version of Irene Cara's 1980 hit "Fame." Gadot went on to represent her country in the Miss Universe pageant and completed her two-year mandatory military service in Israel, working as a fitness instructor, before beginning a modeling and acting career. In addition to Wonder Woman, whose title role she debuted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, she has starred as Gisele in the Fast & Furious films.

Gadot was shocked at the anti-Semitism people have expressed, backing Hamas terrorists whose goal it is to wipe out all Jews from Israel and take over their country.  

 Rachel Zegler, actress and singer,  age 23 and 5'2", born May 3, 2001 ( is in the title role of Snow White.  Rachel Anne Zegler is an American actress and singer who rose to fame for her portrayal of María in Steven Spielberg's 2021 remake of West Side Story. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her performance and received praise from both fans and critics. Zegler has also appeared in Shazam! (2023) and 

will star as Snow White in Disney's live-action adaptation. Her mother is of Colombian descent. Her maternal grandmother immigrated from Barranquilla, Colombia, to the United States in the 1960s. Her father is of Polish descent. (That could have also been the description of many Jewish girls, as Poland was the home of a lot of Jews.  In 1990, 7,000 Jews were living in Columbia. Most of the Jews lived in Bogota, Cali Barranquilla, and Medellin.) I wonder if her education includes history of the Spanish Inquisition ?  

Disney chose to hold "Snow White" premiere mostly without press due to tense situation between the two stars. The trailer's release prompted a wave of reactions online. While hundreds of thousands of Israeli and Jewish users lavished praise on Gadot, expressing immense pride, a significant number of responses criticized her casting. The most vehement opposition came from pro-Palestinian users, who not only objected to Gadot's role but also directed harsh personal attacks against her.

One comment read, "She may be more beautiful than Rachel Zegler, but at least Rachel isn't a Zionist." Others wrote, "The CGI for the dwarfs looks fine, but they need to reshoot the evil Zionist Gal Gadot." As discussions continued, references to Zionism and Gadot's military service became increasingly prevalent.

Numerous responses went beyond criticism to call for a boycott of the film. "Remember, this movie stars the proud Zionist and former IDF soldier Gal Gadot. Don't watch or support it," read dozens of such comments. Another user wrote, "Gal Gadot playing a villain in this movie is perfect casting."
