Israel Bombed Beirut, Lebanon

 Nadene Goldfoot

TV abc news at 5:50am was that Israel hit Beirut, Lebanon, their capital, first warning people.  It was because when they have hit Jerusalem, Beirut will also have no peace.  Beirut is saying that this is against war laws, etc.; which we most likely have raised about hitting all our parts of Israel including Jerusalem.

The IDF struck a drone storage facility used by Hezbollah’s aerial unit, in Beirut's Dahieh district today. Residents of the building were warned to evacuate prior to the attack. The attack came after 2 rockets were fired at Kiryat Shemona from Lebanon. One was intercepted and the other did not enter Israeli airspace. The IDF also shelled Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon following the attack. Hezbollah denied firing the rockets.

"Dahieh  is a predominantly Shia Muslim suburb in the south of Beirut, in the Baabda District of Lebanon. It has a minority of Sunni MuslimsChristians, and a Palestinian refugee camp with 20,000 inhabitants. Dahieh is the Beirut stronghold of Lebanese political party and paramilitary group Hezbollah."

"Hezbollah", from Lebanon,  "began launching rockets, drones and missiles into Israel the day after its ally Hamas' unprecedented Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attack, which ignited the war in Gaza. The Israel-Hezbollah conflict boiled over into all-out war in September as Israel carried out waves of airstrikes and killed most of the militant group's senior leaders. The fighting killed over 4,000 people in Lebanon and displaced about 60,000 Israelis who live in communities near the country's shared border."

"The strike came after Israel’s army urgently warned people to evacuate parts of a Beirut suburb, vowing to retaliate against strikes which it said were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel." The terrorist group would be Hezbollah.
