The news told us at first that The IDF intensified airstrikes across Gaza overnight Thursday and into Friday, targeting Hamas infrastructure. The army also struck Khan Yunis. Israeli officials have described the recent strikes as preparation for a potential expanded ground operation in Gaza should ongoing ceasefire talks fail to produce a breakthrough. As of now, there is no progress in the the negotiations in Qatar. A senior member of the Hamas political bureau told Sky News that Hamas was negotiating directly with American officials. DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israel launched dozens of airstrikes across Gaza on Friday that local health officials said killed 108 people, mostly women and children, and which Israeli officials described as a prelude to a stepped-up campaign to pressure Hamas to release hostages.

Their friendship is not broken by this.
Reuters reported that: "Medics" said most of the dead, including women and children, were killed in a barrage of Israeli airstrikes on houses in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. Whose medics did the counting? Probably Hamas medics.
Israel also struck two ports in Yemen that it said were used by the Houthi militant group to transfer weapons. Local health officials said at least one person was killed and nine injured. (notice that health officials are not reporting this time, expanding numbers).
What happened?
- At least 80 killed in latest strikes, "health officials say." Are they Hamas health officials or American health officials or Israeli health officials? It makes a big difference.
- 1. Trump envoys push for new hostage release deal. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to ramp up military pressure on Hamas—despite the terror group’s offer to release all remaining hostages in exchange for a permanent ceasefire, Reuters reports. Netanyahu dismissed the deal on the table, doubling down on
- Hamas's idea that Israel has killed 50,000 Palestinians so far. Israel has warned them, side-stepped them, when it is Hamas who is responsible for their deaths.
- 2. Israel has cut supplies to Gaza, agencies see famine risk. “Ending the war under these surrender conditions would send a message to all of Israel’s enemies that abducting Israelis can bring Israel to its knees.”
- The reason is that Hamas steals the trucks, sells the food at high prices, benefitting themselves, the terrorists. Trucks cannot get through with all the fighting going on.
