Record Of Israel Feeding Gazans; People Whose Goal Is Extinction of Israel

 Nadene Goldfoot

Jews have never liked anyone to go hungry.  It started with Abraham feeding anyone walking past his tent who looked hungry, the ancestor of both Muslims and Jews.  The Ashkenazi Jew's favorite Yiddish word is "Essen, essen", eat, eat, and Jewish mothers are famous for feeding everyone.

the miles of tunnels Hamas has dug to hide ammo and hostages;  Gaza's government is Hamas;  USA all for people have right to vote;  Now they are suffering from parents' decision

Remembering those slaughtered in the attack, hostages

The shock of October 7, 2023's Gazan attack on Israel will never be forgotten, it was so horrible.  Since then, there has been more attacks on Israel by missiles from Iran through their proxies.  Through it all, Israel has been called upon to feed the people Hamas terrorists have left hungry because of Israeli shelling on their Hamas centers, since war has been declared by Israel.  Hamas planned the attack for the past 3 years.  They plotted a way to put all blame on Israel by stealing all incoming food, keeping it for Hamas, and not allowing the general public any of it except at prices so high they couldn't buy it.  They are unfeeling for their own people.  Their goal is to wipe out any popularity that Israel may have, knowing how high anti-Semitism is running right now.  Their window is open for this form of fighting.

Israel's role in the entry of food into Gaza since October 7, 2023, has been a complex and contentious issue, with different organizations and reports presenting varying perspectives on the adequacy and accessibility of aid.

May 28, 2025 Hamas demonstrator, note covered face              The UN has been found to have workers that belong to Hamas
and of course help their fight.  Here's a summary of the situation based on the provided search results.

Never in world history as anyone been expected to feed it's enemy who are not only trying to take over their country, but trying to finish what the Holocaust almost did !!!  Killing the Jewish people wasn't enough for them, but they brutalized the killings on Oct 7th as well, torturing women, babies, men.  All these countries so anxious to give a state as a reward for terrorizing are settling up their own demise by these same people.  It if works on Israel, it'll work on others like the USA, must be their motto.

  • COGAT Data: Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) maintains a registry of food supplied to Gaza via land crossings and air drops.
  • COGAT records indicate a significant amount of food has entered Gaza through Israeli-controlled crossings and airdrops. For instance, one study analyzing COGAT data found that 478,229 metric tons of food were supplied to Gaza between January and July 2024.
  • Israeli COGAT has taken the responsibility of the following besides food:
  • The number of food trucks entering Gaza has fluctuated, with increases noted during certain periods and decreases observed during intense fighting or border closures.
  • COGAT has also been involved in coordinating the repair of infrastructure, including water networks and desalination plants, which indirectly impacts food security.
  • In addition to food, COGAT coordinates the entry of fuel, medical supplies, and other essential goods into Gaza.
  • COGAT maintains a dashboard that provides data on aid entering Gaza, including details on shipments, their origin, and weight.
  • Total Shipments: Between January and July 2024, the COGAT registry shows 28,734 trucks and airdrops supplied to Gaza, totaling 478,229 tons of food. The amounts delivered increased steadily from January to July, with the exception of February, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
  • Nutritional Value: The average energy per person per day supplied was 3,004 kcal, exceeding Sphere international humanitarian standards for energy, protein, and fat (although not for iron).
However, these figures and statements are subject to various interpretations and criticisms:
Between January and April, with the exception of February, the amounts of food delivered to the Gaza Strip increased and remained relatively stable until July. In February, when aid delivery from the Kerem Shalom crossing point was reduced, airdrops were initiated. In March, the Ashdod port in Israel was opened briefly for the transfer of aid to Gaza, and in April the northern Erez land crossing opened. After the Rafah crossing was closed by Egypt in early May, two additional land crossings were opened, and the US military established a Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier (JLOTS) to allow aid to be delivered directly to Gaza by sea (Table 2). Although JLOTS delivered approximately 9,000 tons of aid by late June, it was shut down in July due to repeated operating difficulties in high seas. Subsequent aid by sea to northern Gaza was supplied via the Israeli port of Ashdod and the Erez Crossing .
  • Blockade and Restrictions: Israel imposed a complete blockade on food entering Gaza for two and a half months starting in March. Since easing the blockade in late May, Israel has allowed in an average of 70 aid trucks per day for the UN, which is far below the 500-600 trucks UN agencies deem necessary.  (They must be checked for weapons to arm the enemy-as they are still enemies.)This slows the process down.
  • Distribution Challenges: Much of the aid is reportedly stacked up just inside the Gaza border because UN trucks are unable to pick it up due to Israeli military restrictions and lawlessness within Gaza. (The lawlessness comes from Hamas terrorists-so many-all looking alike without uniforms-shooting at their own people who are receiving food)
  • Alternative Distribution Mechanism: The Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has become the primary food distribution system, according to Politico. This system has been criticized for being militarized,( keeping some kind of order in distributing food)  with hundreds reportedly killed and thousands injured while trying to reach distribution points.
  • Differing Perspectives: Israel argues it's allowing sufficient quantities and blames the UN for distribution issues. The UN claims Israeli military restrictions and lack of security are the main obstacles. (Security from Hamas terrorists!  Of course! Israel is trying to keep aid into Gaza alive-while Hamas is trying to end it and keep people starving-good for their propaganda campaign !!
  • Effectiveness of Aid Delivery: Aid groups criticize airdrops as inefficient and dangerous. (If land were possible, they could have continued what they started.) They advocate for a return to the UN-led truck-based system. of Course, the UN is on their side; loaded with Hamas members.
In conclusion, while Israeli sources provide figures on the amount of food entering Gaza, (good record keeping)  there are serious concerns about the effectiveness of distribution, the adequacy of the aid allowed, and the safety of Palestinians attempting to access it, according to international organizations and news reports; and whose side are they on?.

Believing Propaganda Or Believing Truth About Bombing The Hospital

 Nadene Goldfoot

An Israeli Unit:  Ethiopian Jew, Druse Arab,  Christian and Muslim Arab;  a complex group of mixed religions who know how to get along and fight for their country, Israel.  Israel has 20% Arabs who are a mixture of Christians and Muslims.  They are not asked or expected to serve in the IDF, but some groups have asked to serve.

I went to a meeting in Portland quite long ago where the spokesman for Israel was an Arab woman from the Druse or another group, and I was so highly impressed with her that  I wished at the time all could hear her.   In my apartment in Safed, Israel, lived Arabs and Jews.  One day a pipe burst upstairs in the next floor above us and the water came like a river into our apartment which was the bottom floor.  Two women came and helped me sweep the water out;  a Jewish Israeli and an Arab Israeli.  The Jewish lady spoke Hebrew of course and Arabic so they conversed with each other, but I was a newbie and couldn't speak either one.  It was nice to think that they both helped me out.  That was 1980.

I'm really disappointed in people believing that Israel would purposely bomb a hospital !  It would be going against everything they stand for.

The hospital involved is Al Ahli Arab Hospital.   "Founded 1882 and run by the Anglican church, Al Ahli Arab Hospital described itself on its website as "a haven of peace in the middle of one of the world’s most troubled places". The hospital said it offered 80 beds with services such as a free programme to detect breast cancer, a centre for elderly women, and a mobile clinic offering free services to surrounding towns".  The propaganda said 500 were killed of which seems to be far more than the actual number. That number has not been verified.

It's an act typical of past action of their enemy, Hamas, however, and even that is wrong.  It was another terrorist group in Gaza, the Islamic Jihad group (PIJ) that errantly shot the bomb which landed in the parking lot next to the hospital, not traveling the distance they had wanted.  They are aligned with Hamas and also funded by Iran.

2019  A great march in Gaza

They are found in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, sponsored by Iran and Syria.  They are committed to the creation of an Islamic Palestinian state and the destruction of Israel, so when people say they are all for a Palestinian State, this is what they are calling for in essence.  It's certainly not going to look like the USA.  This is what the meeting in 1967 in Khartoum, Africa called for.

Their operation activities have been shootings, bombings, rocket attacks and suicide bombings.  They performed 1,000 terrorist attacks between 2000 and 2004 when 950 Israelis were wounded and 150 were killed.  They were responsible also for 39 suicide bombings.  A battle with them happened in 2002 in Jenin which was their center, which was called the Palestinian terrorist "suicide capital."  In 2005, 59 suicide bombers were foiled and arrested.  They have been growing into a major player.  they recruit followers in mosques and universities.  You'll find they are opposed to cease fires and lulls in the terrorist operations, thus the bomb that went wrong and killed their own people.

This has been thoroughly checked out by Israel as to what had happened, and they have proof.  But it is causing all sorts of people to blame Israel immediately since they are shelling Gaza--- which has not stopped shelling Israel.  Rockets have fallen in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and the only saving aid is the Iron Dome which Israel and the USA have invented.

Those people who know Israel's history both ancient and modern would know what they stand for. Our saying is "TO LIFE !"  There was a lot of reason to doubt the hysterics and planned propaganda that Hamas used in this act of violence.  They first enlarged the numbers killed, for instance.

Hamas and other terrorists already have the reputation of hiding behind their own people and putting them in danger, hiding ammunition in mosques, schools, hospitals, and such.  That's why it's going to be hard to dig them out of their tunnels and from crowds of people.  That's why they took hostages-people to hide behind and  to barter with.

Outsiders not knowing the history should not be pushing for something they know nothing about but need to study the issue, and study it deeply.  All this time, Israel has been more than agreeable, ready to give up almost all their land for peace and what happened?  The Arabs said their famous 3 NO NO NOs.  No way, they are still holding out wanting all the land, not just half the land or a piece of the land.  And on that land, as they have already announced, there will be no Jews living on it.

So, what I would say is that when they want to live in peace, and actually socialize with Israelis like the Jews of Sderot and the kibbutzim were trying to do with them who were slaughtered, when they could show they were of the same minds in wanting to be neighbors like those soldiers above in the unit, when they get to that point, then you can talk about a 2 state solution.  Not before.

To me, a real friend of Israel would not jump to the chance of accusing Israel of such an act of terror.  Think !  What would Israel gain by doing such a thing?  It's the last thing Israel needs, the hatred of the world after gaining some empathy because of the slaughter.  Don't people see see how Hamas used this to their advantage to change the emotions of the public?

Finding So Many Anti-Semites iin Scotland and Why

 Nadene Goldfoot

Pub in Scotland , places like this where Anti-Semitism grows

I can't get it out of my mind of a recent find of so many anti-Semites in Scotland! There hasn't been any large number of Jews living there as they have been in London, England.  What was going on?

Scotland is a small country of 5.454 million as of 2019, with less than Israel.  Scotland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. Covering the northern third of the island of Great Britain, mainland Scotland has a 96-mile border with England to the southeast.  In 1878, despite opposition, a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical hierarchy was restored to the country, and Catholicism became a significant denomination within Scotland.  There are an estimated 75,000 Muslims in Scotland (about 1.4% of the population), and significant but smaller Jewish, Hindu and Sikh communities, especially in Glasgow.

JBS TV had shown the findings of an interviewer in one of their pubs, and in the conversation with those there, discovered they were all against Jews, and especially the Israelis. The interviewer moved about and spoke with people in many other places and kept getting the same results.  It was most depressing!

They were all believers that Jews had flown in and taken over Palestine-a country with a government and all, snatched it away from the Palestinians, leaving them without homes.  They were all pro-Palestinian and anti-Israelis.  They had no idea of the real facts and showed no inkling of wanting to learn.  They backed the Palestinians and that was that, like a preferred soccer team.

My thought was, how could they be believing such misconscrewed history in this day and age and there it was.  They had more trust in anti-Israel propaganda, most likely from al Jazeera or places like that, and nothing in their past school days.  Since England had kicked out Jews for 365 years anyway from 1290 to 1655 as it was, due to Papal orders,  this propaganda was being built on  anti-Semitism besides. The interviewer was appalled and saddened by his discovery.

Jews were not in Scotland in medieval days as there is little evidence of any living there in that period.  But, Jewish merchants were to be found in Edinburgh and Glasgow by the 17th century when the ban was lifted.  In the 18th centuries, some Jews studied medicine at Scottish universities.  There are indications of a Jewish community in Edinburgh in 1780, but it was properly organized only in 1816, one following in Glasgow in 1823.

Protests by Muslims all over, sending the message of "freeing" Palestine.  This type of message, along with what Scots see and hear on the Telly, are their source of education about the situation between a "Palestine" and Israel.

The large increase in the number of antisemitic incidents in Scotland during the third quarter of 2014 following the war in Gaza came as an unwelcome shock, not only to the Jewish Community, but to civil society at large. During August 2014 alone, SCoJeC received more than 25 reports relating to at least 12 separate antisemitic incidents, almost as many as in the whole of 2013, and Police Scotland advised us that they had received reports of threatening phone calls and e-mails, graffiti on synagogues, and two cases of incitement to break the criminal law. In addition, many people told us that they now felt uncomfortable, anxious, and in some cases even afraid, going about their day-to-day activities as Jewish people in Scotland. Although these absolute numbers may not seem high, the most recent Scottish Government figures reveal that, when the size of the different faith communities is taken into account, Judaism is almost 8 times, and Islam 3 times as likely as Christianity to be the victim of religious hatred. In order to gauge how typical were the expressions of anxiety, insecurity, and alienation that we had reported, the Community Safety Unit of the Scottish Government provided SCoJeC with funding to carry out a follow-up inquiry into how the experience of Jewish people in Scotland had changed during the three years since our original study.

The Russian Jewish immigration of the early 1900s resulted in the growth of the 1823 community, which is the 4th in size in Great Britain.  Edinburgh, on the other hand, has only 600.  There were also smaller communities in Aberdeen and Dundee.  The Jewish population in 1990 was 12,000.  According to the 2011 census, 5,887 Jews lived in Scotland; a decline of 8.7% from the 2001 census. The total population of Scotland at the time was 5,313,600, making Scottish Jews 0.1% of the population.

JBS TV =9/11/22 on Youtube; my bad, I was so appalled I wasn't prepared to take notes on exact program this was on.  The interviewer was a heavy-set man, I remember that much. I think it was on Shahar Azari's program.

Gaza, Hope of Peace That Turned to War Despite Legalities, Part III

 Nadene Goldfoot

Gaza had been the city of the Philistines, main enemy of Jews since Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan.  The Philistines were a fighting -people by nature,  originating from Asia Minor and Greek locations,  reaching Canaan in various waves of the Mediterranean. One group arrived early and settled south of Beersheba in Gerar, coming into conflict with Abraham and Isaac.  Another group came from Crete after being kicked out by Egypt by Ramses II in 1194 BCE and they founded 5 places; Gaza, Ascalon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath.  Gaza had been used by the Egyptians of the 15th to 13th centuries BCE to serve as a base for Egyptian expeditions to the north when it was captured by the Philistines and  became their most important site by housing their temple of Dagon.

Along came Joshua with the Israelites in about 1271 BCE  who allotted it to the tribe of Judah, the largest tribe of the 12 of Jacob.  However, though they should have been quite strong and healthy after walking for 40 years, the city remained in Philistine hands and was the place of the imprisonment and death of Samson.

The Assyrians attacked this Northern city of Israel 551 years later in 720 BCE and it was annexed by King Sargon of Assyria who took the best lot of the people as slaves to Assyria.  199 years later in 521 BCE the city was taken by Cambyses of Persia.  Alexander the Great recolonized the city 189 years later as a Hellenistic city in 332 BCE.  When Alex died, Gaza was disputed over between the Egyptian Ptolemies and the Syrian Seleucids until Antiochus III of Syria ( Greek Hellenistic king and the 6th ruler of the Seleucid Empire. He ruled over the region of Syria and large parts of the rest of western Asia towards the end of the 3rd century BC.) annexed it in 198 BCE.  Gaza was independent in 110 for a few years but captured by Alexander Yannai in 96, when along came General Pompey declaring it a free city in 61 BCE.  We remember our holiday of Chanukah telling us of Antiochus of the Greek Syrians having taken over the Temple and putting in idols, forcing Jews to bow to them.

During the Middle Ages, it was populated by Jews and Samaritans until its capture by Napoleon in 1799.  It became a center of Sabbetaism, a false messiah  period in the 17th century.  The Jews left the city in 1917, the end of WWI when discussions were going on to create Eretz Yisrael a Jewish state.  A few Jews returned  but left again during the 1929 Arab rioting.

By 1949 Gaza became a main city with a population of 30,000 being swollen by many refugees.  It was captured in November 1956 by the Israel forces of IDF who remained there until March 1957. It again passed under Israel rule during the Six-Day War in 1967.  A census taken later that year gave its population at 119, 000.
The disengagement was proposed in 2003 by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, adopted by the government in June 2004, and approved by the Knesset in February 2005 as the Disengagement Plan Implementation Law.

The Gaza Strip includes the town of Gaza, extending from the eastern border of Egypt north along the Palestinian coast for 22 miles with the average width of 8 miles.  It was the result of the Egyptian advance into the Negev in May 1948, and the Israel offensives of October to December 1948 which drove them out of the entire area, with the exception of the Gaza Strip.  The area remained under Egyptian rule according to the Armistice Agreement of 1949.  The Gaza Strip had also been until 1948, part of the British Mandate of Palestine.  Between 1948 and 1967, with a brief  interruption in 1956-1957, following the Sinai War, it was administered by an Egyptian Military Government.  It was not annexed by Egypt.

The Gaza Strip had become the focus of military and political tension by 1955, and in November 1956, was captured by Israeli forces in the course of the SINAI  War.  Under UN and especially US pressure, Israel returned the Gaza Strip in March 1957, when Egyptians resumed control with a UN emergency Force stationed along the border with Israel.

In May 1967,  the UN secretary-general U Thant accceded to a demand by Nasser to withdraw the UN force, thereby precipitating the events leading to the Six-Day War when the Gaza Strip again passed under Israel control.  It has been the scene of frequent unrest.  The 1967 census found 352,260 in the Gaza Strip of whom 172,520 were refugees.  By July 1972, there were 388,600 in the Gaza Strip (360 sq. km-140 sq miles.

In August 2005, the State of Israel “disengaged” from the Gaza Strip, removing all Israeli military installations, 25 Israeli settlements (4 in the West Bank) with over 8,000 residents. The Israel disengagement was unilateral, and was not the result of negotiations with the Palestinians.  Israelis left everything for the Palestinians, even their businesses there, such as greenhouses.

“The purpose of the disengagement plan is to reduce terrorism as much as possible, and grant Israeli citizens the maximum level of security. The process of disengagement will lead to an improvement in the quality of life, and will help strengthen the Israeli economy.” The disengagement plan required the uprooting and resettlement of 25 Israeli communities in the Gaza Strip.  The decision was made in the name of peace, hoping for a better future for both.

When the Israeli government made its decision to disengage from Gaza in 2005, Gaza was home to over 1,324,991 people. Roughly 99.4 percent of the population was Palestinian and 0.06 percent was Jewish. Forty-nine percent of the population there was age 14 and under. The birth rate was 40.62 births/1,000 population with a fertility rate of 6.04 children born/woman. Demographically, Gaza was a challenging place for any authority to administer.

Opponents of the plan argued that Israel was retreating from Gaza“under fire” – that the decision to disengage was a capitulation to Palestinian terrorism, and not in the context of mutually agreed concessions. The Gaza Strip contained 21 civilian Israeli communities.  They all had to leave.

In the Gaza Strip (21 communities):

While the Israeli military fully withdrew from the Gaza Strip in the disengagement, Hamas-controlled Gaza (it took over the territory in 2007) represents a serious security challenge to Israel. In response to Hamas terrorist attacks and the launching of thousands of rockets at Israeli population centers, the IDF has conducted military operations (aerially or on the ground) against Hamas in Gaza in 2008/9, 2012 and 2014.

The turning over Gaza to the Palestinians showed up quickly as a big error.  They voted in the Hamas terrorists as their governing body.   "After Israel's withdrawal, the Palestinians were given control over the Gaza Strip, except for the borders, the airspace and the territorial waters.  On September 23, hours after rockets were shot into Israel, and the fight was on.  Israel retaliated.   A Hamas pickup truck in the Jabaliya refugee camp was struck by a missile, killing at least 19 people (both militants and civilians) and injuring 85 people. On September 26, Israel killed Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Mohammad Khalil and his bodyguard with a missile strike; on September 29 Israel closed all Hamas charities on the West Bank, and as part of a five-day offensive fired artillery into the Gaza Strip.

Rockets are fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel, on November 13, 2019

Sirens throughout the night cried out  in Israel as multiple rocket salvos launched from Gaza.

Israel and Egypt control the flow of imports into Gaza due to Hamas’ misuse and misappropriation of goods for military purposes.

Tunnel found, dug out by Gazans to bring in ammunition, attack Israelis, etc.

Cities near the border of Gaza have been under constant daily attack by rockets from Gaza.  It was turned into the base of attack on Israel.  Gazans have even built a tunnel to receive ammunition to use on Israel.

The recent rocket attack in May  of the barrage of 4,340 from Gaza lasted 11 days. Israelis had to hunker down in their bomb shelters in their lengthy surprise attack.  The Gazans harmed themselves as Israel had to respond.  There were 261 dead with 129 out of 248 Gazans being civilians, if that is possible, for most are part of a fighting force.  1,042 housing and commercial units in Gaza were damaged.  Israel hit 1,500 targets in response.  This all started over some argument over housing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The cease-fire was on a Thursday, May 21, 2011.  At 2 a.m. local time, just as the cease-fire took effect, life returned to the streets of Gaza. People went out of their homes, some shouting “Allahu Akbar" or whistling from balconies. Many fired in the air, celebrating the truce.

President Barack Obama  of USA's last days were in the end of January 2017.  In Barack Obama's final actions in office before the inauguration of President Donald Trump, he released $221 million to the Palestinian Authority PA.  The money came from federal aid the US provides to the West Bank and Gaza, aid that totaled about $355 million in 2015. The sum released by Obama during his last hours in office had been held up by a group in Congress that included Reps. Ed Royce of California and Kay Granger of Texas.  Congress had been looking at various behaviors from Palestine — unilateral attempts at statehood, corruption, incitement of violence, and paying salaries to people in jail for terrorism — and that's why the hold has been there," Dr. Jonathan Schanzer of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies told Business Insider.  However, the payment itself has been frozen by the State Department under President Trump.

The news on January 20, 2021, said that the Biden administration on Wednesday unfroze $27.4 billion in government funding that former President Trump locked up before leaving office. Last Thursday, Trump used a budgetary legal provision calling on Congress to rescind funds from 73 programs that were fully funded in December's $2.3 trillion omnibus spending bill. Trump signed the bill into law but complained about many of its provisions.  It was on January 20, 2021 that Trump left office and Biden took over.  We have seen in the past that the Palestinians spend their money on ammunition to use against Israel instead of using it to make a better life for their people.  How will they use this big sum of money?

In January 18th and 20th, 2021, 3 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel.

In April, 15, 23, 24, and 25th,  a total of 44 were fired of which 6 were intercepted by Israel's iron Dome defense system on the 23rd when 36 were shot at Israel.  No property was damaged.  The military responded with military strikes.  It is very upsetting to go through such an ordeal and affects everyone and everything. It cannot be laughed off.  That's why Israel must respond.  Now, you may think differently, but Israel has tried the other way of ignoring, and it only shows a weakness and more rockets as a result.

Rockets hit Israel as militants killed.

Palestinian militants in Gaza have fired dozens of rockets at Israel after its air strikes killed top commanders and felled another tower block there.  The escalation, which began on Monday, has triggered street violence in Israel between Jews and Israeli Arabs.  In two incidents, a Jewish man in Acre was attacked by Arab men, and a Jewish mob pulled a Palestinian out of his car and beat him up in Bat Yam.  At least 67 people in Gaza and seven people in Israel have been killed.  The fighting erupted on Monday after weeks of rising Israeli-Palestinian tension in East Jerusalem which culminated in clashes at a holy site revered by Muslims and Jews.

Between 10-18 May of 2021, during the 2021 Israel–Palestine crisis, more than 3,440 rockets were fired toward Sderot, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Jerusalem and other communities. Ten Israelis were killed. More than 90% of the rockets heading toward populated areas were intercepted by the Iron Dome. About a third fell inside the Gaza Strip. Most of the others fell in open fields.

By 21 May, when a ceasefire came into effect, at least 4,000 rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, of which hundreds fell short and hit Gaza.

On 16 June 2021, incendiary balloons were launched from Gaza into Israel, which the Israeli Air Force responded to with multiple airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, causing fighting to resume.  The Israeli military said it targeted compounds belonging to Hamas, the militant group that controls Gaza.

The incendiary balloons sparked 20 fires in southern Israel on Tuesday.

Hamas said they were a response to a march by Israeli nationalists in "occupied" East Jerusalem.  Palestinians do not accept the fact that it is now part of Israel, unified with west Jerusalem.  Unfortunately, they usually call ALL of Israel as occupied land.

There were no casualties on either side and calm had been restored by Wednesday morning.

This is a case of giving up land to the Palestinians who used it to fire rockets into Israel almost every day since they received it. More Palestinians get killed in the process because this brings on Israel's air force.   Israel does not use its people but protects their lives with bomb shelters, whereas the Palestinians are definitely using theirs in order to bring on accusation against Israel for defending their population.  Anything to put Israel in a bad light.  They are creating propaganda to use against Israel.
