What Uri Geller Predicts About Israel

 Nadene Goldfoot

Uri Geller is an Israeli-British illusionist, magician, and self-proclaimed psychic famous for performing spoon-bending and mind-reading illusions,  Geller was born on 20 December 1946 in Tel Aviv, which was then part of the British Mandate of Palestine (now Israel). His mother and father were of Austrian-Jewish and Hungarian-Jewish background respectively. Geller is the son of Itzhaak Geller (Gellér Izsák), a retired army sergeant major, and Margaret "Manzy" Freud (Freud Manci). Geller claims that he is a distant relative of Sigmund Freud on his mother's side.  After being away, he returned to Israel.

He returned to Israel at age 16 and worked in construction before joining the Israel Defense Forces at age 18, volunteering for the Paratroopers Brigade. In 1967, he fought in the Six-Day War on the Jordanian front and was wounded in action. He claims that the war injury left him with lifelong weakness in his left elbow. According to Geller, a formative experience of his life was killing a Jordanian soldier in combat near Jerusalem.

Self-proclaimed psychic and entertainer Uri Geller views Israel's future through a lens of high geopolitical vulnerability paired with a fierce, supernatural optimism. While he frequently issues stark, apocalyptic warnings regarding immediate military threats, he maintains that Israel will ultimately prevail due to advanced technology and hidden spiritual defenses.
He made such predictions:  Uri Geller has made predictions and warnings regarding Israel on multiple occasions:

  • April 2014 (Disaster-Readiness Campaign): Geller returned to Israel as the face of an army-sponsored TV and internet campaign to warn and prepare citizens for missile attacks and earthquakes.
  • July 2024 (War Premonitions): Geller stated he sent a letter on July 13 warning of severe, multi-front war dangers to Israel, comparing the country to the Titanic heading toward an iceberg and warning of missile and UAV threats.
  • October 2026 (Knesset Elections): Geller made predictions on Channel 14's "Israel this Morning" regarding the October 27 Israeli Knesset elections, expressing his support for Benjamin Netanyahu.
Geller’s perspective on Israel’s trajectory encompasses several core themes:
1. Severe Geopolitical Threats
Geller has stated that Israel faces an existential threat similar to "the Titanic traveling toward an iceberg." He frequently warns of a multifront war involving Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza. (This has been happening)
  • Massive Missile Attacks: He predicted that Israel's enemies would eventually launch up to 5,000 missiles and drones a day over Israeli cities. (It happened over a month) Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated on March 30, 2026, that Hezbollah had launched a cumulative total of 5,000 missiles, rockets, and drones from Lebanon targeting Israel since March 2, 2026.
  • Domestic Chaos: He has warned of extreme civil unrest and violent chaos spilling into the streets of mixed Israeli cities. (This has been happening)
  • Iran as the Ultimate Danger: Geller views Iran as the world's most dangerous entity and a primary driver behind the threats facing Israel. (Israel has recognized this for a long time, already)
2. Supernatural and Technological "Wins"
Despite his dire military predictions, Geller claims that Israel is uniquely equipped to win its modern conflicts. He attributes this to a mix of the physical and metaphysical:
  • The "Psychic Network": Geller claims that an active, clandestine network of military psychics operates behind the scenes to protect the nation. He has even claimed personal credit for using "remote viewing" psychokinetic energy to help intercept Iranian drones and disable humanitarian flotillas heading toward Gaza.
  • Artificial Intelligence: He strongly believes that Israel's early dominance and sophisticated advancement in AI technology ensure that the country is "winning every war."
3. Political Allegiances and Alliances
Geller's vision for Israel's leadership is deeply tied to current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he considers a close personal friend.
  • Support for "Bibi": Geller openly identifies as a "Bibist," calling Netanyahu a genius and asserting that there is "no one like him" to steer the country through its political future.  (At last I have found another who is for Bibi).
  • Fears of U.S. Betrayal: Geller has expressed deep concern regarding Israel’s future relations with the United States. He has lamented what he perceives as a "catastrophic betrayal of Israel" by American leadership and has stated that his spiritual mission is to try to telepathically influence U.S. political figures to preserve the alliance.
4. Direct Demands for Preparedness
Because of the dark scenarios he foresees, Geller firmly advocates for a heavily armed and vigilant citizenry. He has publicly called for the mass redistribution of weapons to Israeli residents—especially along conflict lines—and the rapid expansion of a heavily trained National Guard filled with volunteers from all sectors of Israeli society. Despite these intense warnings, Geller maintains that he feels a profound "streak of optimism" every time he is in his homeland.
