Al Haq's Palestinian Human Rights Organization And Fatah, Other PLO Offshoots

It is said that Al Haq sponsors PFLP-affiliated Palestinian's speech  to the UN Human Rights Council.  

Al Haq is  an independent Palestinian human rights organization based in the city of Ramallah in the West Bank. Founded in 1979, Al-Haq monitors and documents human rights violations committed by parties to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, issuing reports on its findings and producing detailed legal studies.  Human Rights Watch also does this, but they are an international group but with divisions to cover the Palestine-Israel fighting.  

In the 1990s, Israel's Ambassador to the United States, Moshe Arad, accused Al-Haq of being a front for Arafat's PLO and stated that "most of its members are supporters of Fatah and other members of the PLO terrorist organization".

 The Jerusalem Post, commenting on Al-Haq's position on the PLO killings, noted that the "mutilation-murders of young boys and girls, housewives, pregnant women and old men...did not fit the pacific image the PLO was trying to project". The Post also noted that although Al-Haq did not condone the killings in its human-rights report, it did not condemn them either.

Al-Haq's position on PLO assassinations of collaborators has been the topic of discussion. Al-Haq claimed that, because the authorities were responsible for keeping order, the killings were not human rights violations and were at worst common crimes.

"On August 17, the Israeli Government Press Office issued a statement that as part of the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, particularly in relation to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Defense Minister Benny Gantz had ratified a designation made in October 2021 to declare the following groups terrorist organizations: The Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, Al-Haq, the Bisan Center for Research and Development, Defense for Children International–Palestine, the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, and the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees."  (Jerusalem Post)

Al-Haq and its counterpart, the Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem, were co-recipients of the Carter-Menil Human Rights Prize in 1989, and of the Geuzenpenning, a Dutch human rights award, in 2009. 

 Shawan Jabarin of Al Haq and Human  Rights Watch. He was  (born 1960 in Sa'ir, West Bank (Judea Samaria.). He's a Palestinian.  

What side will he choose in watching Humans err if he's a terrorist himself?                                   

Shawan Jabarin, the General Director of  (Al Haq), also sits on Human Rights Watch's  (HRW’s) advisory committee for its Middle East and North Africa Division.  This is highly relevant information for viewers to be able to properly assess the credibility of the allegations made by Ms. Bashi.   The man has one foot in a terror group while the other foot is in another terror group he uses to back the 1st foot up.  Clever man!  Watch out!

Respected as a human-rights activist by HRW, Amnesty International, and various Palestinian human-rights groups, and condemned by many Israeli and other organizations, Jabarin has been described as “an activist to some, a terrorist to others.” While he has won many human-rights awards and contributed to such journals as Foreign Policy, Israel's Supreme Court has called him a "senior activist" for the PFLP, which is considered a terrorist group by 30 countries. Jabarin has been barred from entering Jordan on security grounds, and was banned from international travel by Israel between 2006 and 2013.

Last week on CNN International’s “Connect the World,” host Becky Anderson brought in Sari Bashi of Human Rights Watch (“HRW”) to discuss Israel’s decision to close 7 organizations due to their connections with the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (“PFLP”).

Sari Bashi, Program Director at Human Rights Watch, leads the organization’s research, supervising a staff of 270 people in 50 countries, working on 18 regional and thematic human rights areas. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Sari co-founded and ran Gisha, the leading Israeli human rights group promoting the right to freedom of movement for Palestinians in Gaza. She has taught international humanitarian law at Yale Law School and Tel Aviv University and supervised research at Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN). She is the author of Maqluba: Upside Down Love (Hebrew), an award-winning story about love in the shadow of the Israeli occupation, and she has worked as a correspondent for the Associated Press. Bashi earned her B.A. (summa cum laude) from Yale University and her J.D. from Yale Law School. She is a marathon and ultra-marathon runner and author of the Umm Forat blog about raising her children in the occupied West Bank. (www.ummforat.com).

She's a writer.  I note that all her articles are against Israel's handling of Palestinian Arabs.  "  It’s painful to consider this in the context of Israel’s law barring citizens like me who are married to Palestinian residents of Gaza and the West Bank from bringing them into the country. In the nine years since our wedding, the Israeli government has rejected or ignored requests to grant my partner even a temporary permit to join me in Israel."   My comment is that, Sari, have you noticed that Israel is constantly bombed by Gaza?  Where do you live in Israel?  Ashkelon and S'derot are bombed almost every day.  Gazan have Hamas (a terrorist group) as their governing party.  Your husband is not part of an angelic group, then.  You cannot expect Israel to bless your marriage. What has he done to show he's fighting the Hamas dictum and is trying to bring peace?  Is he also a writer? How did you ever marry in the first place?  Are you in a Palestinian village now?  

"CNN International failed to disclose Human Rights Watch's conflict of interest on their program."  

Human Rights Watch is an international non-governmental organization, headquartered in New York City, that conducts research and advocacy on human rights.   The group pressures governments, policy makers, companies, and individual human rights abusers to denounce abuse and respect human rights, and the group often works on behalf of refugees, children, migrants, and political prisoners.

Human Rights Watch in 1997 shared in the Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Land mines and it played a leading role in the 2008 treaty banning cluster munitions.  

Kenneth Roth is an American attorney who has been the executive director of Human Rights Watch since 1993. He's also a writer, and I found one written last year that for a Jewish man, is shocking.  "Much of what Biden said about the conflict would have sounded familiar from U.S. presidents of decades past. But time has not stood still. The Israeli government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has deepened its oppressive, discriminatory rule of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem—a trend that was only accelerated by former President Donald Trump's unconditional embrace of Netanyahu. Biden should recognize that disturbing reality and move away from the talking points of his predecessors."  Such a writer doesn't bother to mention what the Palestinians had been inflicting upon the Israelis that also wasn't humane.  They get more attention by defending the poor Palestinians (backed by Arab donations to carry on their attacks) than the Israelis who fight like mad to keep their citizens alive.  Kenneth, to me you're deplorable.  

Key people are Kenneth Roth-Executive Director and James F. Hoge Jr., Chairman., Though Roth is Jewish, Roth is criticized by the Jerusalem-based NGO Monitor for allegedly being biased against Israel. Kenneth Roth is the executive director of Human Rights Watch, one of the world's leading international human rights organizations, which operates in more than 90 countries. 

Prior to joining Human Rights Watch in 1987, Roth served as a federal prosecutor in New York and for the Iran-Contra investigation in Washington, DC. A graduate of Yale Law School and Brown University, Roth has conducted numerous human rights investigations and missions around the world. He has written extensively on a wide range of human rights abuses, devoting special attention to issues of international justice, counterterrorism, the foreign policies of the major powers, and the work of the United Nations.  Leaders in Human Rights Watch are:

Steinberg has served as a consultant to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the Israeli National Security Council. He also served as a legislative adviser to Likud Knesset Member Ze'ev Elkin. 

Professor Gerald M. Steinberg (founder of the Institute for NGO Research, which runs the NGO Monitor project) is a long-time critic of what he refers to as Roth's obsessive targeting of Israel as head of Human Rights Watch from 1993.  In a 2004 Jerusalem Post article,  Steinberg rejected Roth's op-ed which accused NGO Monitor of "fictitious allegations of bias" and a "fantasy-based discourse" which "does a deep disservice to Israel". NGO Monitor also criticized Roth for recruiting a staff that hold anti-Zionist views and for his attitude towards antisemitism, as he declined to participate in the Global Forum on Antisemitism.  

This history was analyzed in detail by Gerald M. Steinberg in "Human Rights Watch's anti-Israel Agenda", published in the journal Israel Affairs (2021).  Gerald M. Steinberg. a professor of politics at Bar Ilan University, is an Israeli academic, political scientist, and political activist. He is founder and president of NGO Monitor, a policy analysis think tank focusing on non-governmental organizations.

Steinberg has been a longtime critic of Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Christian Aid, Oxfam and other organizations that he accuses of having "contributed to the hatred, rather than supporting peace". Writing in a 2004 Jerusalem Post article he said, "HRW's press statement exposes it as a biased political organization hiding behind the rhetoric of human rights." Later he accused HRW of "exploiting the rhetoric of human rights to delegitimize Israel". Human Rights Watch accused Steinberg of "sleight of hand" in his reporting of its activities, and of ignoring its condemnations of Palestinian militant actions.

What we learn here is that there are groups professing to be for peace that are biased , and that we must not be so naive.  Israel has been at the wrong end of the sticky lollipop since forever, being constantly criticized and even envied or hated.  Chances are such groups are against Israel and use devious methods to keep their power. It's sad, but Human Rights Watch isn't really counting in Israel as being one of the Humans.  Too many eagle-eyes have caught them attacking Israel.

8/26/22:  Syrian state media reported that Syrian air defenses intercepted "hostile targets" over Hama's countryside on Thursday and that 2 civilians were killed in the attack. The UK based Observatory for Human Rights, a Syrian opposition group, said that among the targets was a scientific research facility as well as Iran backed militias including Hezbollah.  I might mention that Hama is a town, not meaning the terrorists, Hamas.

Lebanon, Gaza and West Bank Terrorist Groups Threatening Israel

Sponsored by Iran with revolutionary Guards,  Goal--Creation of  Islamic state across  the Arab world;  destruction of Israel, fight Western imperialism.  Supports Palestinian terrorist groups.  Set up cells in West Bank and Gaza.  Attacks across the border.  On US state Department  Terrorist List.  Started in 1982.

Hassan Nasrallah b: 31 August 1960, a Lebanese cleric and political leader who has served as the 3rd secretary-general of Hezbollah since his predecessor, Abbas al-Musawi, was assassinated by the Israel Defense Forces in February 1992.  During Nasrallah's leadership, Hezbollah acquired rockets with a longer range, which allowed them to strike at northern Israel despite the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah is a Lebanese Shia Islamist political party and militant group, led by its Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah since 1992. Hezbollah's paramilitary wing is the Jihad Council, and its political wing is the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc party in the Lebanese Parliament. 

Judea (southern) and Samarian (Northern) part of what Jordan renamed as West Bank, was originally Judah, lost to the Jews in the Roman occupation and destroyed in 70 CE, renamed for the Jews' worst enemy, the Philistines as Palestine.  It had before been Israel, ruled by kings Saul, David, Solomon, etc.

In the news today attacking Israel.  Sponsored by Iran and Syria Goals:  Goal-- Creation of Islamic Palestinian State-will succeed if 2 state solution goes through;  destruction of Israel through holy war.  Pet peeves:  pro-western and Arab governments, cease fires, lulls in terrorist operations.  They recruit followers in mosques and universities.  Started in 1979-1981.  PIJ formed as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and was influenced ideologically in its formation by the Islamic regime in Iran. 

 It was established by Palestinian students in Egypt who were admirers of the Iranian Revolution and the Muslim Brotherhood.  PIJ was formally established in Gaza in 1981 by two Palestinian activists: Dr Fathi abd al-Aziz Shaqaqi, a Rafah-based physician, and Shaykh Abd al-Aziz Awda, an Islamic preacher from the Jabaliyya refugee camp, as well as Ramadan Shalah, Bashir Moussa and three other Palestinian radicals. Like Hamas, its expressed goal is the violent destruction of the State of Israel, which Islamic Jihad believes will then bring about the unification of the Arab and Islamic world, “purified of modern Western elements.”

Judea Samaria (West Bank), Gaza, Syria, Lebanon:  PFLP (Popular Front For The Liberation Of Palestine), 

 Arm of PLO that broke off, sponsored by Palestinians George Habash and Ahmad Sadat, Refuse to recognize Israel, Goals: Liberating Palestine in stages, major terrorists in 1970s, 1980s using media-oriented attacks.  Started in 1967.  

The PFLP has generally taken a hard line on Palestinian national aspirations, opposing the more moderate stance of Fatah. It does not recognise the State of Israel, it opposes negotiations with the Israeli government, and favours a one-state solution to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict- their state. The military wing of the PFLP is called the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades. The PFLP is well known for pioneering armed aircraft-hijackings in the late 1960s and early 1970s. According to PFLP Politburo member and former aircraft-hijacker Leila Khaled, the PFLP does not see suicide bombing as a form of resistance to occupation or as a strategic action or policy and no longer carries out such attacks. The PFLP has been designated a terrorist organisation by the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia and the European Union. 

Judea Samaria (West Bank), Gaza, Syria, Lebanon: DFLP (Democratic Front For the Liberation of Palestine), 

is a secular Palestinian Marxist–Leninist organization. It is also frequently referred to as the Democratic Front, or al-Jabha al-Dimuqratiyah.  It is a member organization of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Alliance of Palestinian Forces and the Democratic Alliance List.  It started in 1967 by George Habash as a left-wing organization..   One of the attacks for which the DFLP is best known is the 1974 Ma'alot massacre in which 25 schoolchildren and teachers were killed.

Sponsored by Egypt's Gamal Nasser, Yasser Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas, Goal: To liberate Palestine by fighting League of Nations, UN all illegal acts,  PLO charter 1968, started 1964.  

The PLO served as an umbrella institution for many terror groups that opposed the existence of Israel. These groups, often described as “factions,” include Fatah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), and others.  It was designed to serve as a “government in exile” and included a 740-member parliament called the Palestine National Council (PNC) “elected” by the people, and an 18-member executive government elected by the parliament. The PLO created a Palestinian National Charter which described its ideology, and a constitution called the “Fundamental Law.”

 Judea Samaria (West Bank):  Fatah (Movement For The National Liberation of Palestine,

Fatah (Arabic: فتح Fatḥ), formerly the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, is a Palestinian nationalist social democratic political party and the largest faction of the confederated multi-party Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and second-largest party in the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).
 Militias of Tanzim, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, offshoot of PLO, sponsored by Yasser Arafat, Mahmood Abbas, Goal-made up of militias, coordinates with radical Islamist terrorist groups for joint terrorist attacks, usual liberating Palestine an destroying Israel goals.  Less obvious than Hamas who broke off from them.  In the 2006 election for the PLC, the party lost its majority in the PLC to Hamas. However, the Hamas legislative victory led to a conflict between Fatah and Hamas, with Fatah retaining control of the Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank through its president. Fatah is also active in the control of Palestinian refugee camps. 

 Fatah claims to have in 12 areas the total of 2,862,485 population living in 5,671 square kms.    The 12 are Jenin, Tubas, Tulkarm, Nablus, Qalqilya, Salfit, Ramallah and Al Bireh, Jericho, Jerusalem including East Jerusalem with Israeli citizenship, Bethlehem, Hebron Governates, Fatah started in 1959.

Note:  They are claiming Jerusalem which is again in Israel's hands as it always has been since King David.  Jerusalem is not a divided city anymore.  It is unified and a part of Israel.  Land it covers is from Demographics of 2017:  125.156 square km  or 48.323 square miles.  Population of Jerusalem is 936,425 with 60.8% Jews, 37.9 Arabs and 1.3% Christians, etc. 

Gaza:  Hamas:  (Islamic Resistance Movement)

  Sponsored by Yasser Arafat, Mahmood Abbas Militia arm of PLO, broke off to be more militant in 1968 to be PLOs largest faction, attack more.  Now took over governing Gaza, so got into politics as well as dictators. terrorist attacks against Israel, drive them into sea. Hamas' declared objectives are to liberate Palestine from Israeli occupation and transform the country into an Islamic state. Which of these two objectives is the primary goal is disputed. The movement's original charter committed it to waging an armed struggle to destroy the state of Israel. Started 1968.  There are 756,083 living in Gaza that Hamas presides over.

 Arafat was born in Cairo, Egypt to a Palestinian father from Gaza City in 1929. He died in 2004.  Jerusalem was the family home of his mother, Zahwa Abul Saud, who died from a kidney ailment in 1933, when Arafat was 4 years of age. Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf al-Qudwa al-Husseini, popularly known as Yasser Arafat or by his kunya Abu Ammar, was a 5'2" tall  Palestinian political leader.  Exasperating, Barak said "He did not negotiate in good faith; indeed, he did not negotiate at all. He just kept saying no to every offer, never making any counterproposals of his own," he says.

 He was Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization from 1969 to 2004 and President of the Palestinian National Authority from 1994 to 2004.  

 He became the biggest terrorist besides establishing many terrorist groups, but was given the Nobel Peace Prize by those who were in awe of him, evidently. 

Mahmoud Abbas was born on 15 November 1935 in Safed, in the Galilee region of Mandatory Palestine (now Israel). His family fled to Syria during the 1948 Palestine war. Before going to Egypt, Abbas graduated from the University of Damascus in Syria, where he studied law.  He is the president of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian National Authority. He has been the chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) since 11 November 2004, PNA president since 15 January 2005, and State of Palestine president since 8 May 2005. Abbas is also a member of the Fatah party and was elected chairman in 2009.  Abbas has been chairman for 18 years.

While in Qatar in 1961 at age 26, he was recruited to become a member of Fatah, founded by Yasser Arafat and five other Palestinians in Kuwait in the late 1950s. At the time, Arafat was establishing the groundwork of Fatah by enlisting wealthy Palestinians in Qatar, Kuwait, and other Gulf States. According to Abu Daoud, part of the funds raised by Abbas were used, without the latter's knowledge, to implement the 1972 Munich massacre. 

           

George Habash (2 August 1926-26 January 2008) 

Habash was born in Lod (Lydda), Palestine then, Israel now;  a Palestinian Christian politician studying to be a doctor who founded the Marxist–Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He became a doctor, and in 1951, after graduating first in his class from medical school, Habash worked in refugee camps in Jordan and ran a clinic with Wadie Haddad in Amman. He firmly believed that the state of Israel should be ended by all possible means, including political violence.

 Habash served as General Secretary of the PFLP until 2000, when ill health forced him to resign. Habash was a leading member of the Palestine Liberation Organization until 1967 when he was sidelined by Fatah leader Yasser Arafat, with whom he had a complex relationship described as a mix of "camaraderie and rivalry" and "a love-hate relationship". In response, Habash founded the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.  

Ahmad Sa'adat was born in 1953 in Al Bireh, Jordanian Judea Samaria (West Bank)..

 Ahmad Sa'adat, also known as Abu Ghassan, is a Palestinian militant and Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a Marxist–Leninist Palestinian nationalist organisation. Sa'adat graduated in 1975 from the UNRWA Teachers College, Ramallah, specializing in Mathematics.  He spent 10 years in Israeli prisons.  Sa'adat is a Marxist–Leninist, and is the General Secretary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), in the context of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict Sa'adat persistently claims that a one state solution is the only possible solution for the conflict, he holds that "The solution is the one-state solution and not the two-state solution," Saadat said: "There are no other horizons for any other settlement." Sa'adat also holds that "The communist forces in the Arab world have applied the viewpoints of the Soviet Union by the book and have never developed their own theoretical and political 'flavor.'

Terrorist groups of Al Qaeda and ISIS are another group equally as bad if not worse.  They can be spoken of in a future article.

The Divided Palestinians Refuse Peace

If I were to ask G-d if he would help me in uniting the Palestinians to accept Israel and not continue hating her.... if I could find 10 Palestinians who would do so, the answer would be no.  The majority, not just 10, would  have to want to accept Israel.  Right now it looks pretty hopeless in even finding 10.  Since the Kartoum Conference in Africa in 1967, the Palestinian Arabs have not budged from their position of hatred, whereas several Muslim majority states have turned around as we see in the Abraham Accords. The resolution is famous for containing (in the third paragraph) what became known as the "Three Nos": "no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it...."   

• "Referring to the peace process with Israel, 68% of the Palestinians said that they oppose a return to negotiations with Israel led by the US under the Biden administration."    Rockets keep falling into Israel daily from across the border with Gaza.  The hospital in Ashkelon, so close to it and who treats all people, has had to go underground in caring for the sick and injured.                  

  
  President Mahmoud   Abbas of Fatah's PA  and Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas  are at a party. At the moment all is well, but they rarely agree on anything.     Hamas grew out of Fatah as the active terrorist element of Fatah, which started with Chairman Arafat who created Fatah.                        
  

• Arafat is the father of modern terrorism.  Arafat's formative years were thus spent in a milieu of sectarian violence, annealed in a hatred for Jews that, far from ever subsiding, propelled him. 

• As an engineering student in Cairo during World War II, he was powerfully influenced by Haj Amin el-Husseini, the Islamic mufti of Jerusalem who was closely aligned with Hitler and schemed from Berlin to import the Fuhrer's genocidal program to Palestine. 

• Indeed, as the New York Sun observed in an editorial last week, one of el-Husseini's biographers relates that Arafat was a blood relative of the mufti, who preferred him to another up-and-comer, George Habash (al-Hakim), among the fiercest of Israel's Nasserite enemies who eventually founded the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a frequent Arafat ally.  And who admired Arafat?  Hillary Clinton.

Palestinians and Europeans and the US at the moment plan on creating a state within the state of Israel.  Is there another place where an enemy state lies inside another ? There is only the Holy See where the Vatican lies.  It is in Italy, surrounded by a Catholic population that is adoring.  It is the world's smallest independent 'country' with a population of about 800 people and an area of 0.44 km² (0.17 sq mi). 

Does anybody study the map?  What happened in the UN where there were once standards that a state had to uphold to be an accepted state?  One of the standards was to be peaceful.  It seems like the Palestinians are being armed by Iran, but if they were a real state, they probably would be able to get more arms, and for what?  Why,  to fulfill their mission and destroy Israel, no doubt.  

                                                                    

The Palestinians themselves are divided into the PA (Palestinian Authority) ruled by Abbas in Judea and Samaria, and Hamas-the terrorist organization ruling in Gaza.  They have been planning for a Palestinian State, but where they live in not in one area, and they are not a people of one mind or mind-set.  The only thing they may be in agreement with is to destroy Israel.  

                                                 

The Palestine Liberation Organization is an organization founded in 1964 with the purpose of the "liberation of Palestine" through armed struggle. It's leader today is the one and only Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the PA. It is recognized as the "sole legitimate representative" of the Palestinian people by over 100 states with which it holds diplomatic relations, and, as the official government of the State of Palestine, has enjoyed observer status at the United Nations since 1974.  

In February 2020, CAIRO (Reuters) - The Palestinian Authority has cut all ties with the United States and Israel, including those relating to security, after rejecting a Middle East peace plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday. The Arab League backed them.  

Yet Biden is talking about the Two State Solution. President Joe Biden is still committed to a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday, May 23, 2021, adding that repairing the structural damage in Gaza and dealing with the humanitarian crisis stemming from the recent outbreak of violence is most important to the administration. It does interfere with talks with Iran over nuclear advancement in Iran.  

                                                   

                  Breaking up a cell of 50 PFLP Terrorists

A branch of the PLO that has been active again is the PFLP (Popular Front For the Liberation of Palestine), created in 1967. They're active in the West Bank (Judea,Samaria) Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  They've been involved in plane hijackings, shootings, bombing and suicide attacks.  They assassinated the Israeli Tourism Minister, Rechavam Ze'evi  in 2001 and committed 8 suicide bombings from 2000-2005 as well as being responsible for 14 suicide bombers that were stopped and arrested in 2005. 

In December of 2019, Shin Bet (Israeli security Forces)  arrested 50 PFLP, thwarting an upcoming attack  by arresting  PFLP terror cell members in the Ramallah area.  

 This was before the May-June 1967 Six Day War's escalation leading up to the war.  The army Israel faced in that war in Sinai was 90,000 men and 900 tanks for starters.  Even the UN Emergency Force left because of the UN's appeasement.  They didn't have the stomach or reasoning to face such a spectacle.  There was no barrier between Egypt and Israel.  They had what it takes to change their attitude towards Israel, but not the Arab Palestinians.                    

 Once upon a time in the 1920s, England was given a 30 year mandate over Palestine, a much larger area.  First, England gave away 80% to Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, then dickered with the 20% left where Gaza and Judea and Samaria were, leaving 10%, mainly desert land, for the Jews. While it was Palestine, Jews and Arabs were called Palestinians.   

The Arab Palestinians seem to be as stiff-necked as we Jews are.  This must come from Abraham, only the Arab Palestinians would be so much better off if they would make peace.  73 years of fighting against a people who are not leaving has just bought them a tall wall in many places that they don't like,  as well as a lot of tunnels that they have dug and that Israel has to keep on destroying. 

                                                   

Israel already has 20% of the Arab population as Israeli citizens, and must keep it at that %, or it will become another Lebanon. There are 48 or more Muslim majority states in the world without a Palestine, and only one teeny Jewish state.  I can't even count all the Christian majority states there are, there are so many.  Jews make up only 0.02% of the world population.
