Blinken Lets Cat Out Of The Bag Caroline's Holding

 Nadene Goldfoot

"Antony John Blinken (born April 16, 1962) is an American lawyer and diplomat who served as the 71st United States secretary of state from 2021 to 2025. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under President Barack Obama. Blinken was previously national security advisor to then–Vice President Joe Biden from 2009 to 2013."

Knowing his background makes it all the more shocking as to the Leftist Democratic Stand he is taking, yet also showing his environment being under Obama and Biden.

Blinken was born on April 16, 1962, in Yonkers, New York, to Jewish parents. His mother was Judith (née Frehm) Blinken and his father was Donald M. Blinken, a co-founder of the private equity firm Warburg Pincus who later served as the U.S. ambassador to Hungary. His maternal grandparents were Hungarian Jews. Blinken's uncle, Alan Blinken, served as the U.S. ambassador to Belgium. His paternal grandfather, Maurice Henry Blinken, was an early backer of Israel who studied its economic viability, and his great-grandfather was Meir Blinken, a Yiddish writer.

During the 2021 Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Blinken expressed "absolute" support for Israel's right to defend itself but warned that evicting Palestinian families from their homes in East Jerusalem is among the actions that could further escalate outbreaks of violence and retaliation.

During a visit to Tel Aviv following the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel, Blinken promised to help defend Israel "as long as America exists." Blinken said that "Israel has the right, indeed the obligation, to defend itself and to ensure that this never happens again." He rejected calls for a ceasefire in the Israel–Hamas war but said he supported "humanitarian pauses" to deliver aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.

Ministers of the Israeli war cabinet meeting with Blinken, January 9, 2024

Blinken participated in Netanyahu's cabinet policy decisions on humanitarian aid, which allowed the targeting of aid convoys that could "reach Hamas." Implementation of the policy resulted in assaults on UNRWA aid trucks, Palestinian police escorts for aid convoys, the World Central Kitchen aid convoy attack, and assassination of Anera aid workers.

Blinken is now out of a job with Trump coming in as President.  Is he still the Jewish ambassador?

"In what could be his final speech on the job, Secretary of State Antony Blinken also accused Israel of systematically undermining the Palestinian Authority, which he said should govern a unified Gaza Strip, in addition to Judea and Samaria after Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists concludes.

May I remind readers and Blinken that the PA lost the election for who was to govern them, encouraged or even more by Obama himself.  They lost to Hamas terrorists.   The Arabs were not familiar with governing, elections, or freedom and they cast their vote probably at the end of a gun, knife or rifle, at least without thought,  only might.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the Atlantic Council, January 14, 2025.

"What followed was a psychedelic fantasy with no connection to recent events in the Middle East, with Blinken floating in the sunny air of Narnia inside his head:"

“We believe that the Palestinian Authority should invite international partners to help establish and run an interim administration with responsibility for key civil sectors in Gaza like banking, water, energy, health, and civil coordination with Israel,” Blinken began. (Who is "WE?")

“The international community would provide funding, technical support, and oversight. The interim administration would include Palestinians from Gaza and representatives from the PA – selected following meaningful consultation with communities in Gaza – and would hand over complete responsibility to a fully reformed PA administration as soon as it’s feasible.”

"The “capacity and legitimacy” of the PA, which Blinken described as the “only viable alternative” to Hamas, has been undermined by the current government in Jerusalem, Blinken claimed."

What Netanyahu says, and it is Israel who has bore the pain, bloodshed of defending their country; is slightly different, not choosing the present PA to run Gaza since he has had experience in dealing with them for years and years.

"Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly prepared to allow Palestinian Authority officials to govern Gaza when the war against Hamas has ended. Top aides of the Israeli prime minister told the Times of Israel that while he is opposed to the “current PA,” Netanyahu could accept a reformed Ramallah leadership playing a role in running the territory.  That would likely involve the authority better addressing extremism and terrorism in the West Bank, the Israeli newspaper wrote." Netanyahu has considered many options for the position,

Mahmoud Abbas, President after Arafat died, since May 8, 2005.  born 15 November, 1935; almost 90 years old, a little younger than me; and I can tell you that he's in no position to run Gaza.

The Palestinian president has yet to condemn the October 7 attack, though he has criticized Hamas’s decision to launch the terror raid.

Blinken let the cat out of the bag today through Glick that Hamas has been non-compliant for 2 main reasons.  1. When Israel is pressured by the USA, they are happy so refuse to agree to a cease-fire and the hostage releases.  2.  They are waiting for more attacks from their friends to supplement theirs.  They expect more from Hezbollah, for instance.  In other words, they want more fighters than those already signing on.  So has Blinken done his best to shore up Netanyahu's defense plan for Israel?  I certainly hope so.  We never want to see another October 7th again!

Israeli Female Minister Orit Strook Who Told USA's Blinken Off

 Nadene Goldfoot

Minister Orit Malka Strook (Hebrew: אוֹרִית מַלְכָּה סְטְרוֹק, born 15 March 1960) is an Israeli far-right politician. She serves as the Minister of National Missions in the thirty-seventh government,  and is a member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionist Party, and served as member of the Knesset for Tkuma (a faction within the Jewish Home) between 2013 and 2015.  Strook is also among the leaders of the Jewish settlement in Hebron, and she established the Israeli non-governmental organization Human Rights Organization of Judea and Samaria, which she headed between 2004 and 2012.

Hebron; divided between Jews and Arabs  A total of 88% of the Jewish community here and 67% of 3,000-strong Kiryat Arba voted for one of their own – Kiryat Arba resident, former Kahane disciple and rising star of the Religious Zionist party, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

“I’m not a religious person. I don’t cover my hair or anything, I have LGBT friends,” said Elinor, a 24-year-old single mother who works at Kiryat Arba’s supermarket. “Like everyone else I voted for Netanyahu in the past and switched to Ben-Gvir this time because of the security situation.

“I think he’s become so popular because the rest of the country is starting to understand how dangerous it is and what we are going through here.”

So next time you call out Israelis for being bullying, gun-touting land-grabbers of their own ancient land,  and Palestinians for being fanatical suicide bombers, remember that there are normal people on the ground who have nothing to do with the wider agendas of their governments or religious factions but who see each other as neighbours and who are calling for the same thing – resolution and peace. The problem is that there just aren't enough of them.  Those Palestinians in power want to drive out the Jews.

Hebron or Kiriath-Arba:  has a well-known ancient history to the Jews which is in Judah (today's half of the West Bank).  It's where Abraham bought the Cave of Machpelah for his family's burials from a Jebusite citizen and then he buried Sarah.  Joshua saw to it that it was a city of refuge and a Levitical city.  It was David's first capital.  There were 1,500 Jews living here in 1890 who established a yeshivot and religious schools.  The great Lithuanian yeshivot of Slobodka was transferred to Hebron in 1925.

Orit Cohen (later Strook) was born to a family of lawyers from Jerusalem. Her middle name Malka was given to her in memory of her grandmother, the Hungarian Jewish poet Mária Kecskeméti. Growing up, Strook studied at the Hebrew University Secondary School. In the late 1970s, while she was in the 11th grade, Strook gradually became more religious, and eventually became a Baalat Teshuvah, embracing Orthodox Judaism. During that period, she began studying at the religious Zionist outreach organization and yeshiva Meir Institute. Shortly thereafter, she married Avraham Strook, a student of Rabbi Haim Drukman. The young couple briefly lived in the Israeli settlement of Yamit in the Sinai Peninsula, but after Sinai was handed over to Egypt in 1982 as part of the terms of the 1979 Egypt–Israel peace treaty, and Yamit was evacuated, Strook and her family joined the Jewish settler community in Hebron.  She's the mother of 11 children and has 12 grandchildren.

Biden's American Democratic government  of USA is plotzing over Israel's new rightist government of Netanyahu this year.  Far-right National Missions Minister, Orit Strock, criticized US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday, a day after he signaled that the White House is clearly concerned over initiatives by Israel’s new hardline government.

Blinken had a plan all mapped out on his visit to Jerusalem but conditions quickly changed.  This past week in Jerusalem has been particularly violent, after Israeli forces carried out their deadliest raid in the West Bank in years, killing nine Palestinians, including gunmen and a 61-year-old woman. Dozens more were injured.

  • Then on Friday, Israeli police say a Palestinian gunman killed seven people and wounded three outside a synagogue in Jerusalem's Neve Yaakov neighborhood. The next day, Israeli police say a 13-year-old Palestinian boy shot and wounded two people in East Jerusalem.
  • It's the latest escalation in a cycle of violence that doesn't show signs of stopping soon, with members of Netanyahu's far-right cabinet aggressively supporting settlement efforts that many say are an obstacle to peace.
  • And, to top it off, U.S. officials say Israel appears to be responsible for a drone attack on a military factory in Iran over the weekend.

“Dear Mr. Blinken, I understand that you decided to

give our prime minister a lesson in democracy,” the

Religious Zionism lawmaker, Orit  tweeted.

“Well, democracy is first of all the duty of a country

to determine its course according to the

votes of its

citizens, each of which is given equal

weight, without

foreign involvement,” Strock wrote.

“Demonstrations, however legitimate they may be,

are not equivalent to a ballot,” wrote Strock, in a very

rare public rebuking of a senior US official by

an Israeli government minister.  (I don't agree with Strock as

demonstrations do a lot to cause officials to rethink their

positions and just might change. I think Orit's 11 children take

a lot of her time.  She needs to read more history for

seeing how demonstrations have changed countries).

Anthony Blinken
                                     Yair Lapid

While Blinken’s comments drew Strock’s ire, he won support

from opposition leader Yair Lapid, former Prime

Minister,  and naturally one of the fiercest critics of

the government’s plans.

Following his meeting with Blinken, Lapid said their

discussions were “first and foremost about the shared values

of the principles of democracy and the

preservation of

democratic institutions.”

Lapid later responded to Strock’s comments, saying “the time

has come for Netanyahu, with all his weakness, to at least put

minister Strock in her place.”

“The Americans’ ‘foreign involvement’ that she is speaking out

against includes $38 billion in aid, funding for Iron Dome

batteries, Apache helicopters and the F-35 planes that are

supposed to attack Iran,” Lapid tweeted.

The Netanyahu coalition is pushing a controversial overhaul

that would increase government control over the judiciary.

The plan has drawn intense criticism and

warnings from

leading financial and legal experts, as well as

weekly mass

protests and public petitions by various

officials,

professionals, and private companies.

Netanyahu insists that the sweeping plans will instead

strengthen democracy and therefore the nation’s financial

position, and says that he is carrying out the will of the voters.

What Blinken doesn't know is that ministers of the

government in Israel might be females and females with lots

of  chutzpa !   They tell it as they see it.  This

year, it looks like

the religious party is speaking out.  They've

had enough.  It's a

Jewish country.  Their ancestors didn't wait

2,000 years for nothing to return.  They love

their ancient land as well as their Tel Aviv and

also want it in peace.

The Divided Palestinians Refuse Peace

 Nadene Goldfoot

If I were to ask G-d if he would help me in uniting the Palestinians to accept Israel and not continue hating her.... if I could find 10 Palestinians who would do so, the answer would be no.  The majority, not just 10, would  have to want to accept Israel.  Right now it looks pretty hopeless in even finding 10.  Since the Kartoum Conference in Africa in 1967, the Palestinian Arabs have not budged from their position of hatred, whereas several Muslim majority states have turned around as we see in the Abraham Accords. The resolution is famous for containing (in the third paragraph) what became known as the "Three Nos": "no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it...."

  • "Referring to the peace process with Israel, 68% of the Palestinians said that they oppose a return to negotiations with Israel led by the US under the Biden administration."    Rockets keep falling into Israel daily from across the border with Gaza.  The hospital in Ashkelon, so close to it and who treats all people, has had to go underground in caring for the sick and injured.

President Mahmoud   Abbas of Fatah's PA  and Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas  are at a party. At the moment all is well, but they rarely agree on anything.     Hamas grew out of Fatah as the active terrorist element of Fatah, which started with Chairman Arafat who created Fatah.

  • Arafat is the father of modern terrorism.  Arafat's formative years were thus spent in a milieu of sectarian violence, annealed in a hatred for Jews that, far from ever subsiding, propelled him.

  • As an engineering student in Cairo during World War II, he was powerfully influenced by Haj Amin el-Husseini, the Islamic mufti of Jerusalem who was closely aligned with Hitler and schemed from Berlin to import the Fuhrer's genocidal program to Palestine.

  • Indeed, as the New York Sun observed in an editorial last week, one of el-Husseini's biographers relates that Arafat was a blood relative of the mufti, who preferred him to another up-and-comer, George Habash (al-Hakim), among the fiercest of Israel's Nasserite enemies who eventually founded the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a frequent Arafat ally.  And who admired Arafat?  Hillary Clinton.

  •

Palestinians and Europeans and the US at the moment plan on creating a state within the state of Israel.  Is there another place where an enemy state lies inside another ? There is only the Holy See where the Vatican lies.  It is in Italy, surrounded by a Catholic population that is adoring.  It is the world's smallest independent 'country' with a population of about 800 people and an area of 0.44 km² (0.17 sq mi).

Does anybody study the map?  What happened in the UN where there were once standards that a state had to uphold to be an accepted state?  One of the standards was to be peaceful.  It seems like the Palestinians are being armed by Iran, but if they were a real state, they probably would be able to get more arms, and for what?  Why,  to fulfill their mission and destroy Israel, no doubt.

The Palestinians themselves are divided into the PA (Palestinian Authority) ruled by Abbas in Judea and Samaria, and Hamas-the terrorist organization ruling in Gaza.  They have been planning for a Palestinian State, but where they live in not in one area, and they are not a people of one mind or mind-set.  The only thing they may be in agreement with is to destroy Israel.

The Palestine Liberation Organization is an organization founded in 1964 with the purpose of the "liberation of Palestine" through armed struggle. It's leader today is the one and only Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the PA. It is recognized as the "sole legitimate representative" of the Palestinian people by over 100 states with which it holds diplomatic relations, and, as the official government of the State of Palestine, has enjoyed observer status at the United Nations since 1974.

In February 2020, CAIRO (Reuters) - The Palestinian Authority has cut all ties with the United States and Israel, including those relating to security, after rejecting a Middle East peace plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday. The Arab League backed them.

Yet Biden is talking about the Two State Solution. President Joe Biden is still committed to a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday, May 23, 2021, adding that repairing the structural damage in Gaza and dealing with the humanitarian crisis stemming from the recent outbreak of violence is most important to the administration. It does interfere with talks with Iran over nuclear advancement in Iran.

Breaking up a cell of 50 PFLP Terrorists

A branch of the PLO that has been active again is the PFLP (Popular Front For the Liberation of Palestine), created in 1967. They're active in the West Bank (Judea,Samaria) Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  They've been involved in plane hijackings, shootings, bombing and suicide attacks.  They assassinated the Israeli Tourism Minister, Rechavam Ze'evi  in 2001 and committed 8 suicide bombings from 2000-2005 as well as being responsible for 14 suicide bombers that were stopped and arrested in 2005.

In December of 2019, Shin Bet (Israeli security Forces)  arrested 50 PFLP, thwarting an upcoming attack  by arresting  PFLP terror cell members in the Ramallah area.

This was before the May-June 1967 Six Day War's escalation leading up to the war.  The army Israel faced in that war in Sinai was 90,000 men and 900 tanks for starters.  Even the UN Emergency Force left because of the UN's appeasement.  They didn't have the stomach or reasoning to face such a spectacle.  There was no barrier between Egypt and Israel.  They had what it takes to change their attitude towards Israel, but not the Arab Palestinians.

Once upon a time in the 1920s, England was given a 30 year mandate over Palestine, a much larger area.  First, England gave away 80% to Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, then dickered with the 20% left where Gaza and Judea and Samaria were, leaving 10%, mainly desert land, for the Jews. While it was Palestine, Jews and Arabs were called Palestinians.

The Arab Palestinians seem to be as stiff-necked as we Jews are.  This must come from Abraham, only the Arab Palestinians would be so much better off if they would make peace.  73 years of fighting against a people who are not leaving has just bought them a tall wall in many places that they don't like,  as well as a lot of tunnels that they have dug and that Israel has to keep on destroying.

Israel already has 20% of the Arab population as Israeli citizens, and must keep it at that %, or it will become another Lebanon. There are 48 or more Muslim majority states in the world without a Palestine, and only one teeny Jewish state.  I can't even count all the Christian majority states there are, there are so many.  Jews make up only 0.02% of the world population.
