At one time, Persia (today's Iran) was home to thousands of Jews as told in the Queen Esther's story who was the queen of King "Ahasuerus" of Persia, told in the Bible. He is usually identified by today's historians as either King Xerxes or his son, Artaxerxes. Then again, Cyrus II who died in 529 BCE, King of Persia, had overrun the Babylonian Empire including Palestine and kept an enlightened policy towards his subject peoples and in 538 BCE, granted permission to the exiles of Judah (the Jews) in Babylon to return to their homeland (Jerusalem) and rebuild the Temple. The Jews were the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, known to be the Hebrews who later were called the Jews.
The king's chief minister, Haman, resented the Jewish political adviser, Mordecai who was so resistant from his ideas, that he detested all Jews and planned their annihilation. Esther found out his plot to kill all the Jews in the world which had already started, told her husband, which led to Haman and his sons being hung.
Ayatolah Ruhollah Khomeini : He was the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader of the Iranian Revolution, which overthrew Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and ended the Iranian monarchy, born 1900. In 1970, in his writing and preaching, he began expanding on the theory of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist to include theocratic political rule by Islamic jurists like himself. Most of his period in power was taken up by the Iran–Iraq War of 1980–1988. He was succeeded by Ali Khamenei on 4 June 1989.
Persia was led by the dynasty of Shahs, the last one being Shah Mohammad Rega Pahlavi born in 1919, who had become friendly with Israel. He was overthrown in the Iranian Revolution in 1979 that was led by Ayatolah Ruhollah Khomeini. "The Iranian monarchy was formally abolished, and Iran was declared an Islamic republic led by Ruhollah Khomeini. The Shah died in exile in Egypt, where he had been granted asylum by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat."
Ayatolah Ali Khamenei-born in 1939, now 84 years oldJune 4, 1989 was made Supreme Leader. By religion, he is at the highest level, too. He's been the only ruler for the past 34 years. The country has been in this mode of anti-Jew-anti-Israel all this time.
He is the head of state of Iran, the commander-in-chief of its armed forces, and can issue decrees and make the final decisions on the main policies of the government in many fields such as economy, the environment, foreign policy, and national planning in Iran. and judicial branches of government, as well as the military and media, according to Karim Sadjadpour. All candidates for the Assembly of Experts, the presidency and the Majlis (Parliament) are vetted by the Guardian Council, whose members are selected directly or indirectly by the Supreme Leader of Iran. There have also been instances when the Guardian Council reversed its ban on particular people after being ordered to do so by Khamenei.

I note that President Biden of USA will be 81 on November 20th. He's running for another 4 years of being president. If he wins and lives, he will be 84-85 when he finishes.
Neda Agha-Soltan Nedā Āghā-Soltān; 23 January 1983 – 20 June 2009) was an Iranian student of philosophy, who was participating in the 2009 presidential election protests with her music teacher, and was walking back to her car when she was fatally shot in the upper chest.
Eyewitnesses are reported by Western sources as saying Agha-Soltan was shot by a militiaman belonging to Basij paramilitary organization. Her death was captured on video by bystanders and broadcast over the Internet, and the video became a rallying point for the opposition.

Agha-Soltan's death sparked renewed protests against the disputed election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He was the Ayatollah's instrument against Israel, a man highly educated in
hatred of the Jews. Ahmadinejad and his crew were Holocaust deniers since
the 1990s Ali called the Holocaust a myth and a fabricated story.
After writing all this, I have a comment: there seems to be a lot of
descendants of Haman in the world today either through their culture or
their genes.
