Hezbollah Leader, Hassan Nazrallah, Declares War Against Israel

 Nadene Goldfoot

Hassan Nasrallah  born 31 August 1960) is a Lebanese cleric and the secretary-general of Hezbollah, a Shia Islamist political party and militant group.

He said that the device attacks are ae declaration of War and that Israel crossed all red lines.  (They themselves were caught recently plotting another October 7th on Israel."  Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has called the fatal device attacks in Lebanon as "war crimes or at least a declaration of war".  Hassan Nasrallah now Declares War  against Israel. He's taken over Lebanon.

There hasn't been a day that has gone by that Israel hasn't been hit by terrorist artillery of rockets, drones missiles or some sort or other.  Has Bid ever told the terrorists to bug out?  To stop with the attacks?  Then to do something about it?  Probably not, but he constantly is telling Netanyahu that it's okay to defend yourself but not to take out too many of the enemy, not caring that they hid behind their people that the do not mind wasting like pawns in a chess game !  It's not like Israel hasn't tried to keep death of the civilians to a minimum, but they are part of the deceit!

Rockets stacked up in Syria. This picture in my file is years old.   Did someone use these rockets already-like Lebanon?  Syria?  Iraq?  They go back years to the 80's lying in wait to hit Israel.  The May 2018 Israel–Iran clashes were a series of short military confrontations between Israeli and Iranian forces in Syria. On 10 May 2018 the Israeli military stated that Iranian forces in Syria launched 20 rockets against Israeli army positions on Western Golan Heights. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the attack occurred after Baath, a town in the demilitarised zone, was bombarded by Israeli forces. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) some missiles were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome system, while some fell short in Syrian territory.

Former Iranian President Ahmadinejad (August 2005 to August 2013,) couldn't wait.  Outside of Iran, he was criticized for his hostility towards countries including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the United States and other Western and Arab states.
Ayatolah Ali Khamenei, who looks like Nasrallah.

I remember when Lebanon had working presidents where Christian  and then Islamic leaders took turning governing back from 1980-1985.  The Terrorist had the upper lead finally, and it was Lebanese Major Haddad, b: c 1937 of the Christian Militia who guarded the border of Israel for the Israelis.  He was a great friend.  In return, his family has sought refuge in Israel and lived there safely when he died.  Haddad was born to a Greek Catholic family in Marjayoun. He received part of his training at Fort Benning in the United States.  Maj. Saad Haddad, a former Lebanese Army officer who for years ran his own militia force in southern Lebanon with Israeli support, died at his home yesterday (in paper from January 15, 1984)  at the age of 47, Israeli officials in Tel Aviv reported. His family had said he was ill with cancer.

Iranian FAJR 5 Rocket Threats: after Netanyahu

The Fajr-5 (rarely Fadjr-5,  is an Iranian 333 mm long-range multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). The Fajr-5 was developed during the 1990s and has since been exported to various armed actors in the Middle East. The shelf life of a two stage Fajr-5 rocket is 15 years.

During the 1970s, there was a cyclical pattern of guerrilla attacks carried out by Palestinian militants on Israel and by the Israel Defense Forces on Palestinian targets in Lebanon. After the outbreak of the Lebanese Civil War, Lebanese-generated security concerns grew for Israel. At the same time, the breakdown of Lebanon's central government provided opportunities for Israel to act. Around 1975, Israel sponsored the creation of a surrogate force, Lebanese Christian (Melkite) Major Saad Haddad was the first officer to defect from the Lebanese Army to ally himself with Israel, a defection which led to the formation of the pro-Israel Free Lebanon Army, based in a corridor, the "Security Zone" along Lebanon's southern border from 1982 after Israel's being forced to enter Lebanon.

                          Hezbollah

Hezbollah started launching rocket and drone attacks on Israel as soon as Israel launched its war on Hamas in the Gaza Strip in response to that group's Oct. 7 terrorist attack. Both Hezbollah and Hamas are backed by Israel's long-time arch rival Iran, and both have long been designated as terrorist groups by both the Israeli and U.S. governments. Hezbollah fires rockets deep into northern Israel, hitting Tel Aviv and Haifa,  as tensions flare.  Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria have already targeted U.S. forces in the region with deadly drone fire during the Gaza war. Iran only respects force, not talk or appeasement.

Hezbollah hits hard, then Israel does the same.  Iran is peeved and surprised by Israel taking out an enemy leader who was in Iran at the time!  That tells Iran that Israel can pin-point targets, too!  The booby-trapped exploding devices was another shock to their pride.  Israel is now also threatening more and more surprises for Hezbollah if necessary.  Hezbollah acts as if they are as innocent as lambs when it is they who has instigated and carried out all the aggressive attacks on Israel, determined to put an end to Jews there.  Biden's warnings not to start a war has to be ignored this time since Israel is embroiled in constant attacks by a very strong Hezbollah terrorist army who only respects strength from an enemy.  Israel is "in the zone," busy staying a step ahead of the enemy who wishes to end all the lives of Israelis, and then others who do not please them.  This certainly comes at such a bad time as the USA elections, of course, voting for Harris (Biden ticket) or (meshugana Trump).  Lebanese were once faced with a similar problem;  Christian or Sunni ticket.

"After parliamentary elections, the President of Lebanon calls for binding consultations with all 128 members of parliament. During these consultations, MPs nominate candidates for the Prime Minister position, specifically a Sunni candidate, as per Lebanon's confessional political system. The candidate who receives the majority of votes becomes the Prime Minister-designate. This process operates on a first-past-the-post basis, meaning the candidate needs only to secure more votes than any other nominee, not an absolute majority of 65 votes. Once the Prime Minister-designate is selected, they meet with the President to discuss the composition of the new government. This stage involves negotiations among political parties regarding ministerial positions in which it must be split between Muslims and Christians and a share for the president, parliamentary majority and opposition."  Somehow, Christians were run out.

The Most Dangerous World We Live In and Why

 Nadene Goldfoot

In this picture released by the official website of the Iranian Army on Jan. 19, 2024, a missile is launched during a military drill in southern Iran (Iranian Army via AP)

Do you realize that an intercontinental missile from Yemen reached Tel Aviv in just 11 and a half minutes from starting to the finish line?  Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said the group struck with a new hypersonic ballistic missile that travelled 2,040 km (1270 miles) in just 11 1/2 minutes.

Not only that, but it could have been carrying  such loads as   conventional high explosives as well as chemical, biological, or nuclear munitions.

They can be launched from aircraft, ships, and submarines in addition to land-based silos and mobile platforms . (Thus, Israel's 2 day attack on their old mobile equipment which occurred in the last 2 days was appropriate.)

                                                       Billboard in Lebanon

We know that Iran is the big kahoona-instigator,  who replenishes their underlings of hatred with financing and plots to destroy Israel.  A ballistic missile from Iran could travel to Tel Aviv in 12 minutes as well !  According to Channel 12 news, ballistic missiles fired from Iran would take 12 minutes to reach Israel, cruise missiles would take two hours, and drones launched from the Islamic Republic would journey for nine hours to reach their target.  This is why they make use of their underlings from  Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon and Syria to attack Israel.

How did the whole world allow such developments to take place in Iran, a country now run by religious Ayatollas who wish to have their Shi'a country take over all the Sunni countries and destroy the one and only Jewish state-the returned and reborn Israel?

Ahmadinejad, riding a missile towards Tel Aviv

It was Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, an Iranian principlist and nationalist politician who served as the sixth president of Iran from 2005 to 2013 who showed his hatred of Israel so much.

Right now, Israel is fighting for its life on 7 fronts.  This is a world where anti-Semitism has again risen against this singular Jewish state ever since the end of the Holocaust in 1945 to again reach a point similar in Germany in 1939 but maybe I should say, 2024, for this isn't a war over land ownership but still of religion.  Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke of his nation being engaged in a "seven-front war" with Iran, saying it supports an informal coalition of regionwide factions known as the "Axis of Resistance." It most notably includes the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, the Syrian government, the Lebanese political party and militant group Hezbollah, the Yemeni political and military organization Houthi movement, Hamas, and a variety of other Palestinian militant groups.

Here are their leaders:

1939 brought the Jews as close to extinction as could be with the Holocaust caused by Nazi leader Hitler.

2024 has brought us anti-Semitism that knows no bounds in the Middle East led by the leaders against Israel, with some  who have since  joined Israel in the Abraham Accords.  Israel, United Arab Republic (UAE), Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan belong to this group that was negociated by the USA in 2020 and 2021.  The creation of a Palestine, once thought a possibility, even by Israel, is a dead idea as far as I am concerned.  How can a sane world allow such a country filled with hatred become a state after attacking Jews ever since its inception in 1920 in Paris with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem-Husseini, and evolving into the maniacal state they were in on October 7, 2023?  Is a Palestine to be their reward for bringing the world so close to destruction?  How can England's Balfour Doctrine have turned a blind eye and a deaf ear today?  Are they not continuing as leaders of Europe today?  Is the USA Israel and Judaism's only possible friend?

Iran's Ayatolahs Behind the War In Middle East Being Against Israel

 Nadene Goldfoot

At one time, Persia (today's Iran) was home to thousands of Jews as told in the Queen Esther's story who was the queen of King "Ahasuerus" of Persia, told in the Bible. He is usually identified by today's historians as either King Xerxes or his son, Artaxerxes.  Then again, Cyrus II who died in 529 BCE, King of Persia, had overrun the Babylonian Empire including Palestine and kept an enlightened policy towards his subject peoples and in 538 BCE, granted permission to the exiles of Judah (the Jews) in Babylon to return to their homeland (Jerusalem) and rebuild the Temple.   The Jews were the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, known to be the Hebrews who later were called the Jews.

The king's chief minister, Haman, resented the Jewish political adviser, Mordecai who was so resistant from his ideas, that he detested all Jews and planned their annihilation.  Esther found out his plot to kill all the Jews in the world which had already started, told her husband, which led to Haman and his sons being hung.

Ayatolah Ruhollah Khomeini : He was the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader of the Iranian Revolution, which overthrew Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and ended the Iranian monarchy, born 1900.  In 1970, in his writing and preaching, he began expanding on the theory of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist to include theocratic political rule by Islamic jurists like himself. Most of his period in power was taken up by the Iran–Iraq War of 1980–1988. He was succeeded by Ali Khamenei on 4 June 1989.

Persia was led by the dynasty of Shahs, the last one being  Shah Mohammad Rega Pahlavi born in 1919,  who had become friendly with Israel.  He was  overthrown in the Iranian Revolution in 1979 that was led by Ayatolah Ruhollah Khomeini. "The Iranian monarchy was formally abolished, and Iran was declared an Islamic republic led by Ruhollah Khomeini. The Shah died in exile in Egypt, where he had been granted asylum by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat."

Ayatolah Ali Khamenei-born in 1939, now 84 years oldJune 4, 1989 was made Supreme Leader. By religion, he is at the highest level, too.  Marji'  a title given to the highest level of Twelver Shia religious cleric, with the authority given by a hawzah (a seminary where Shi'a Muslim scholars are educated) to make legal decisions within the confines of Islamic law for followers and clerics below him in rank. a Grand Ayatollah. He's been the only ruler for the past 34 years.  The country has been in this mode of anti-Jew-anti-Israel all this time.

He is the head of state of Iran, the commander-in-chief of its armed forces, and can issue decrees and make the final decisions on the main policies of the government in many fields such as economy, the environment, foreign policy, and national planning in Iran. As supreme leader, Khamenei has either direct or indirect control over the executive, legislative

Iranian-made Hamas Fajr 5 rockets that reach Israel

and judicial branches of government, as well as the military and media, according to Karim Sadjadpour. All candidates for the Assembly of Experts, the presidency and the Majlis (Parliament) are vetted by the Guardian Council, whose members are selected directly or indirectly by the Supreme Leader of Iran.  There have also been instances when the Guardian Council reversed its ban on particular people after being ordered to do so by Khamenei.

Khamenei, a Twelver Shia marja' is the second and current supreme leader of Iran, in office since 1989. Previously, he served as the 3rd president of Iran from 1981 to 1989. Khamenei is the longest serving head of state in the Middle East, as well as the second-longest serving Iranian leader of the last century, after Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi

I note that President Biden of USA will be 81 on November 20th.  He's running for another 4 years of being president.  If he wins and lives, he will be 84-85 when he finishes.

Neda Agha-Soltan Nedā Āghā-Soltān; 23 January 1983 – 20 June 2009) was an Iranian student of philosophy, who was participating in the 2009 presidential election protests with her music teacher, and was walking back to her car when she was fatally shot in the upper chest.

Eyewitnesses are reported by Western sources as saying Agha-Soltan was shot by a militiaman belonging to Basij paramilitary organization. Her death was captured on video by bystanders and broadcast over the Internet, and the video became a rallying point for the opposition.

Agha-Soltan's death sparked renewed protests against the disputed election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He was the Ayatollah's instrument against Israel, a man highly educated in

hatred of the Jews.  Ahmadinejad and his crew were Holocaust deniers since

the 1990s  Ali called the Holocaust a myth  and a fabricated story.

After writing all this, I have a comment:  there seems to be a lot of

descendants of Haman in the world today either through their culture or

their genes.

Iran's Four (4) Main Sites of Nuclear Reactors To Worry About

 Nadene Goldfoot

1. Arak:The Arak area has several industrial complexes, some with ties to the nuclear program, in particular the IR-40 reactor under construction and a heavy water production plant, both near Arak. In the late 1990s, one of these complexes may have manufactured a high-explosive test chamber transferred to Parchin, which the IAEA has asked to visit. The Arak area is also thought to hold factories capable of producing high-strength aluminum for IR-1 rotors.

Arak was one of the two sites exposed by a spokesman for the People's Mujahedin of Iran in 2002. In August 2006, Iran announced the inauguration of the Arak plant for the production of heavy water. Under the terms of Iran's safeguards agreement, Iran was under no obligation to report the existence of the site while it was still under construction since it was not within the 180-day time limit specified by the safeguards agreement. This reactor is intended to replace the life-expired 1967 Tehran Nuclear Research Center research reactor, mainly involved in the production of radioisotopes for medical and agricultural purposes (they say).

2. Fordow:  Fordow, near the city of Qom, is the site of an underground uranium enrichment facility at a former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base. Existence of the then-unfinished Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP) was disclosed to the IAEA by Iran on 21 September 2009, but only after the site became known to Western intelligence services. Western officials strongly condemned Iran for not disclosing the site earlier; U.S. President Barack Obama said that Fordow had been under U.S. surveillance. In its initial declaration, Iran stated that the purpose of the facility was the production of UF6 enriched up to 5% U-235, and that the facility was being built to contain 16 cascades, with a total of approximately 3000 centrifuges. Iran argues that this disclosure was consistent with its legal obligations under its Safeguards Agreement with the IAEA, which Iran claims requires Iran to declare new facilities 180 days before they receive nuclear material. However, the IAEA stated that Iran was bound by its agreement in 2003 to declare the facility as soon as Iran decided to construct it. Later, in September 2011, Iran said it would move its production of 20% LEU to Fordow from Natanz, and enrichment started in December 2011. The Fordow plant was constructed at a depth of 80–90 m under the rocks. According to the Institute for Science and International Security, possible coordinates of the facility's location are: 34.88459°N 50.99596°E.

Explosion at Isfahan nuclear site An explosion reportedly occurred on Monday, November 28, 2011 somewhere in or near the city of Esfahan in Iran. The Times reported that the blast occurred at the Esfahan nuclear site and that it has seen satellite imagery that showed “billowing smoke and destruction.” The Times also cites “Israeli intelligence officials” as claiming that the blast was “no accident.” ISIS has acquired DigitalGlobe satellite imagery of the Esfahan nuclear site taken on December 3, 2011 and December 5, 2011. There does not appear to be any visible evidence of an explosion, such as building damage or debris, on the grounds of the known nuclear facilities or at the tunnel facility directly north of the Uranium Conversion Facility and Zirconium Production Plant at the Esfahan site .

3. Isfahan: The Nuclear Technology Center of Isfahan is a nuclear research facility that currently operates four small nuclear research reactors, all supplied by China. It is run by the AEOI.

The Uranium Conversion Facility at Isfahan converts yellowcake into uranium hexafluoride. As of late October 2004, the site is 70% operational with 21 of 24 workshops completed. There is also a Zirconium Production Plant (ZPP) located nearby that produces the necessary ingredients and alloys for nuclear reactors.

As of 2022 another new nuclear construction development was built in suburban Isfahan.  This city played an important role in Jewish history, the foundation of which was Jews exiled by Nebuchadnezzar.  Jews were settled there by the Persian Jewish Queen, Shushan-Dukht.  It was also the center of the pseudo-Messsiah, Abu Issa al-Isfahani in 700.  It's largest quarter was known as Yahudiyyah in the 10th century.  By the 12th century, 15,000 Jews lived there.  Then, in the 17th century, Jews were persecuted and a number forcibly converted to Islam.  3,000 Jews were living there at the time of the 1979 Islamic Revolution but many have since left.

4. Natanz:  Natanz is a hardened Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) covering 100,000 square meters that is built 8 meters underground and protected by a concrete wall 2.5 meters thick, itself protected by another concrete wall. It is located near Natanz, the capital city of Natanz County, Isfahan Province, Iran. In 2004, the roof was hardened with reinforced concrete and covered with 22 meters of earth. The complex consists of two 25,000 square meter halls and a number of administrative buildings. This once secret site was one of the two exposed by Alireza Jafarzadeh in August, 2002. IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei visited the site on 21 February 2003 and reported that 160 centrifuges were complete and ready for operation, with 1,000 more under construction at the site. In accordance with Code 3.1 of the Subsidiary Arrangements to Iran's safeguards agreement that were in force up to that time, Iran was not obligated to declare the Natanz enrichment facility until six months before nuclear material was introduced into the facility. According to the IAEA, in 2009 there were approximately 7,000 centrifuges installed at Natanz, of which 5,000 were producing low enriched uranium.

In July 2020, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran released photos of a building, presumed to be a centrifuge assembly facility, after a recent explosion. An unnamed Middle Eastern intelligence official later claimed that damage to the facility was caused by an explosive device.

On 28 October 2020, the Center for Nonproliferation Studies released satellite images acknowledging that Iran had begun the construction of an underground plant near its nuclear facility at Natanz. In March 2021, Iran restarted enriching uranium at the Natanz facility with a third set of advanced nuclear centrifuges in a series of violations of the 2015 nuclear accord. On 10 April, Iran began injecting uranium hexaflouride gas into advanced IR-6 and IR- 5 centrifuges at Natanz, but on the next day, an accident occurred in the electricity distribution network. On 11 April, IRNA reported that the incident was due to a power failure and that there were no injuries nor any escape of radioactive material. Further details eventually emerged that it was actually Israel that orchestrated the attack. On 17 April, Iranian state television named 43-year-old Reza Karimi from Kashan as a suspect for the blackout, stating that he had fled the country before the sabotage happened. In July 2021, Iran reportedly limited inspectors' access to the plant.

Iran has had a nuclear program since the country restarted it in the 1980s, has been under economic sanctions for it since the 1990s, faced the threat of war over it in the 2000s, and now has come through 20 grueling months of negotiations just to keep part of the program in place.

On its face, Iran's nuclear program makes very little strategic sense. Though Iran insists the program is only for peaceful purposes, it's far beyond what's necessary to generate nuclear power. And it's never made sense as an energy investment; other types of energy are more efficient for Iran, and its grid desperately needs upgrading.

"No sound strategic energy planning would prioritize nuclear energy in a country like Iran," Iran experts Ali Vaez and Karim Sadjadpour wrote in a Carnegie Endowment report.

Dr. Jeffrey Lewis is the director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at CNS. Before coming to CNS, he was the director of the Nuclear Strategy and Nonproliferation Initiative at the New America Foundation. Prior to that, he was executive director of the Managing the Atom Project at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, executive director of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs, a visiting fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and a desk officer in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy.

This is why arms control experts believe that, as Monterey's Jeffrey Lewis put it, the program "could be used to make a bomb, and we think was originally intended to make a bomb." That said, there is an important distinction between developing nuclear weapons capability versus building an actual bomb (more on that later).

Iran's Muslims are of the Shi'a branch of Islam, differing from the main line of Sunni as much as Catholicism differs from Protestants. Their world in Iran is dictated by Ayatollahs, religious leaders politically motivated.

Arabs are a minority in Israel's only Jewish state in the world, making up 20% of the population.  That population was 126,000 in 1948, by 1972 numbered 458,500.  They were 95% illiterate.  By 1972 5%.  School population was 10,000 in 1948; 1972 was 117,000.  University students in 1948 was 15; in 1972 was 1,000.  Teachers in 1948 was 286, 1972 was 5,000.  Births in hospitals in 1948 was 4%, in 1972 was 93%.  Using electricity in 1948 was 0;  by 1972 was 93%.  Life expectation in 1948 was 52;  by 1972 was 70.  They made life improvements by being under Israeli law.

Iran now has Hezbollah terrorists in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon working for them so in effect, Iran can be closer to hit Israel.    "It has rapidly expanded its realm of operations. It has sent legions of fighters to Syria. It has sent trainers to Iraq. It has backed rebels in Yemen. And it has helped organize a battalion of militants from Afghanistan that can fight almost anywhere. "

Iran's Khamenei says that "Israel is not a country but a terrorist base".

He says, "fight against Israel is a public duty. "

Ahmadinejad, under Ayatolah Khomeini, said that "Israel will be eliminated."

Eradicated off the face of the Earth.  As you recall, it was about in 2005 when he [Mahmoud Ahmadinejad] said before that Israel -- he would use a nuclear weapon to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.”

— Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), September 19, 2011

“Israel, a small country of less than eight million people, looks out at a world where leaders of much larger nations threaten to wipe it off of the map.”

— President Obama, speech to the U.N. General Assembly, September 21, 2011

One thing Israel has learned about Muslims is that they warn you first before they strike.  You can depend on 2 other incidents where Syria and Iraq had built nuclear reactors and Israel in defense destroyed them.  Israel cannot even depend on friends of the moment.  They must depend on their  own capability to defend themselves.  Friends can always be swayed not to back you up.  Israel takes these threats seriously.  Very seriously.

The problem Israel will have is where to hit first.  There are even more than four.
