After all the shelling that Israel has endured from the Palestinians, Abbas had the chutzpa to turn facts around and accuse Israel of creating Palestinians Holocausts, in the plural!
Speaking in Berlin alongside the German chancellor, PA President Abbas accused Israel of committing many holocausts against the Palestinians!!!
Abbas dismissed a question over whether he would apologize for the Munich Massacre and said: "I have 50 slaughters that Israel committed….50 massacres, 50 slaughters, 50 holocausts, " ignoring the question and knowing the Arabs were guilty.
Golda Meir and the Israeli Defense Committee secretly authorized Mossad to track down and kill those allegedly responsible for the Munich massacre. The accusation that this was motivated by a desire for vengeance was disputed by Zvi Zamir, who described the mission as "putting an end to the type of terror that was perpetrated" in Europe. To this end Mossad set up a number of special teams to locate and kill these fedayeen, aided by the agency's stations in Europe.
No doubt this is something author Daniel Silva would write
about in his books with Gabriel Allon, of Israeli Mossad.
Silva stated, "I watched the drama unfold from beginning to end, and the murder of the hostages hit me very hard. Although we didn’t realize it then, the Munich Massacre was in many ways the beginning of the modern terrorist age. I believe Black September and the Palestinians must share some of the blame for the events of September 11. Remember, it was Black September that first demonstrated the utility of carrying out spectacular acts of terrorism on the international stage. I’m quite confident that the planners of Al Qaeda have studied their exploits carefully.
If he's referring to 50 attacks, you can be sure that the Palestinians instigated them first, and Israel fought back defensively, which is always the case. Palestinians have no ethics. They lie. The hospital in Ashkelon, so close to the border, takes in all sorts of people from both sides, and had to resort to moving to their basement because of incoming rockets. Barzilai Medical Center is a 617-bed hospital in Ashkelon in southern Israel. The hospital serves a population of 500,000, including a large number of Ethiopian and Russian immigrants, and has more than 100,000 admissions annually. Sderot, the town so close to the border, constantly is hit by rockets.
The Munich massacre was an attack during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, by eight members of the Palestinian terrorist group Black September, who took nine members of the Israeli Olympic team hostage, after killing two more.
After and international outcry against his remarks, Abbas's office clarified that he "reiterates and emphasizes that the Holocaust was the most abominable crime that occurred in humanity's modern history.

In his response, there was no intention of denying the uniqueness of the Holocaust, which was perpetrated in the previous century, and which is something which must be harshly condemned.
The intention regarding the crimes President Abbas spoke about was regarding the acts of massacre perpetrated against the Palestinian nation since the Nakba by the Israeli forces - and these are crimes which have not ceased to this day."
The Nakba (Arabic: النكبة, romanized: an-Nakbah, lit. '"disaster", "catastrophe", or "cataclysm"'), also known as the Palestinian Catastrophe, was the destruction of Palestinian society and homeland in 1948, and the permanent displacement of a majority of the Palestinian Arabs. Arabs omit the fact that it was their own leaders who caused the Arabs being in refugee camps.
The Palestinians were manipulated by their bosses, their leaders at the time when Israel announced its statehood on May 14,, 1948. The Arabs were told to leave the premises of wherever they were, as the Arab army was attacking. They would take over the Jews' homes and then the Palestinian Arabs could take them over.
The Arabs did not win, and those who left were stuck in refugee camps which their leaders preferred, using them as pawns as bargaining chips. Those who had remained, became citizens of Israel.

On the evening between 23 and 24 April 2021, 36 rockets were fired towards Israel from Gaza, six of which were intercepted by the Israel Defense Forces' Iron Dome defense system. Although there were no injuries, property was damaged in several communities in Israel. The Israeli military responded with military strikes in Gaza.
On 10 May 2021 Hamas took credit for firing 7 rockets at Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh from Gaza, in what Hamas said was a response to injuries of over 300 Arabs in clashes with Israeli police outside al Aqsa mosque. One of the missiles was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, and at least one of the other rockets landed in a village west of Jerusalem. Some homes were damaged, but no casualties were reported. In a separate incident an Israeli driver was wounded when an anti-tank missile fired from Gaza hit the vehicle. Islamic Jihad took credit for that attack, the terrorists that Israel just attacked after finding out about their massive plans that had in store for Israel. They've known about this group for over a year before wiping out their leader.
I've just given a few examples of the almost everyday shelling into Israel by the Palestinians. Just recently Israelis spent 3 days in their bomb shelters from thousands of rockets coming in an attack. The Iron Dome helps, but can't keep up with them when they are in such volumes. 20% of those shot fell back into Gaza, killing their own children and adults.
Abbas has the chuztpa to call Palestinian attacks on Israel's reactions from Israel of Defensive attacks as their Holocausts. To make it more unsavory, the Palestinians make sure that they suffer more in the defensive attacks that they were able to create against Israel, to get better coverage and sympathy. They are always aware of Israel's defensive moves and can prepare.
8/19/22 Update: Prime Minister Yair Lapid spoke to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Thursday to urge him not to renew the Iran nuclear deal after the EU submitted a “final” draft text aimed at salvaging the 2015 nuclear deal. In the call, the German Chancellor condemned any attempts to deny or downplay the Holocaust, referring to comments made by PA President Abbas in Berlin this week. He said, “The comments by President Abbas in Berlin were intolerable and completely unacceptable to (the chancellor) and the entire German government. Keeping alive the memory of the civilizational rupture of the Shoah is an everlasting responsibility of this and every German government.” The Berlin police have opened a preliminary investigation against Abbas, since downplaying the Holocaust is a criminal offense in Germany.
