Maddening Sunday Morning With CNN News

I started off the morning listing to a discussion about Trump's Tariff program and how he should have done what he did with them.  It turned into a debate between two of those at the table which developed into a shouting match.  The others got a big kick out of it.  One thing, we as the viewer,  can't understand one word said in a shouting match, so I had nothing to laugh at.  I'd say that this half hour was a comedy of errors.                                   

Fareed Zakaria is someone I look forward to listening to.  Usually I'm in disagreement with him but not this time.  He was discussing the Armada of ships waiting, waiting and what was Trump deciding to do with them.Politics.  Trump warns Iran an ‘armada’ is heading its way and to agree a nuclear deal, or else.

He went through a list of reasons why others told Trump not to attack.  His guest verified these facts telling more and who and why Trump shouldn't attack;  too  much wasted money, Arab countries that didn't want it to take place like Saudi Arabia and UAE, and then Fareed, still unsatisfied, brought in by the discussion a far away person with a long long surname, I take to be an Iranian newsperson, who gave more particulars on the discussion.

 NOT ONE PERSON MENTIONED THE IRANIAN DISSONANTS WHO ARE IN THE REVOLUTION AND HAVE DIED ALREADY FOR THE CAUSE WHICH TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAVE BEEN COUNTED NOW FAR MORE THEN THE ORIGINAL 40,000, RISING TO 80,000 AND POSSIBLY BY NOW 120,000 DEATHS.                                    

Has Fareed forgotten that Trump helped to start all this by claiming that IF THE AYATOLLAH'S GOVERNMENT STARTING KILLING THEM, HE WOULD COME TO HELP?  Trump has been encouraging unrest in Iran and recently said, "HELP IS ON ITS WAY," as the death toll reportedly surpassed 2,000.  Now it could be 120,000.  

Then the ships sat in the water like now, only they did nothing but sit.  Thus more and more were killed.  The killers even went into hospitals and killed those there who had been in the streets demonstrating by being a part of the crowd and were injured.

I remember when Israel was recently faced with demonstrators in the streets.  They demonstrated.  Period.  

The Ayatollah of Iran had their Revolutionary Guards-a deadly group, shoot the demonstrators to kill.  They did it, but I hear that since then, it has bothered them to kill their own family members in the streets and have decided to go over to the demonstrators side.  Those still demonstrating see this time as I do, a window of opportunity with the Crown Prince directing them from the USA successfully, knowing they will probably be killed but for a good reason;  to free their beloved country from this madness.                       

Mahyar Tousi is a political YouTuber running the UK’s most watched online news show. Born in Iran, he came to this country as a child following his mother’s escape from the Iranian regime that resulted in her becoming a political refugee in Britain. I watch it too, on youtube.

I know that from this that I have viewed on tousi.tv; watching what our major stations dare not enter to film, will continue and more will be killed.  The USA will never know the pain they are under nor have been under for the past 40 plus years in the first place and what they are enduring now.  Of all the impulsive acts lately of Trump;  buying Greenland, taking  over Venezuela, buying Canada, buying Denmark, HELPING THE IRANIAN YOUTH WHO ARE REBELLING AND HAVING A REVOLUTION IN THEIR COUNTRY TO TAKE IT BACK FROM THE AYATOLLAH'S WAYS was the only sane idea he has had and hasn't fulfilled.

Trump,  when it was decided to back Israel to become a state in 1948, President Truman went against his staff of nay-sayers, telling him all sorts of reasons why he shouldn't, but he did!  He knew only his partner in his haberdashery store was a Jewish man, and they had a great rapport.  That is the greatest gift that Truman could give to the USA as far as I and others are concerned.  Because of Truman, Israel was born.

There are probably 80% of the people of the USA that think differently and wish it hadn't happened, but they do not understand.  I say that things happen for a reason, and someday, they or their descendants will understand.  It was for a good reason;  saving lives.  I could take on several articles full of reasons why and the the good this brought out that benefited the USA, oh in so many ways.  Maybe it will be like that, too for Iran.  Good things will happen in the world if Iran has a Democratic government.                          

I had to turn off the TV at 7:30am, so if they suddenly thought of the people, I missed it.  I hope they ended on a good note.  

What Happened in Iran Has Been Happening: The Rich and the Poor

I just finished watching Netflix's The Septembers of Shiraz, which is the shocking story of what took place in Iran when the Ayatollahs were able to step in.  It's about the Iranian Revolution and what it did to the rich and to the poor. 

Shiraz is a city in south-central Iran, known for its literary history and many gardens. The marble Tomb of Hafez, honoring the revered poet, sits within its own garden. To the east, the Mausoleum of Saadi houses the 13th-century writer’s mosaic-tiled tomb and an underground pool. Shiraz is a gateway to Persepolis, the ruined 6th-century-B.C. capital to the northeast, with its immense gateways, columns and friezes.  it sets the scene of this movie, something horrible happened here.

The poor people  of Iran rebelled against the Shah, who I had thought was a great fellow.  He and Israel were getting along;  nothing like today under the Ayatollahs who are so full of religious fervor with all it's hatred against Judaism.  His government was probably like all the other kings and queens of the world; only more dictatorial.  Mohammad Reza came to power during World War II after an Anglo-Soviet invasion forced the abdication of his father, Reza Shah Pahlavi. During Mohammad Reza's reign, the British owned oil industry was briefly nationalized by Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh until an Army coup d'état supported by the UK and the US deposed Mosaddegh,

The British and the USA  reinstalled the Shah, and brought back foreign oil firms under the Consortium Agreement of 1954. The Shah went on to become a dominant figure in OPEC, promoting a surge in oil prices that crippled Western economies. People had become pretty Westernized.  When the Shah was booted out, what did his sponsors do about it?  Nothing?  

Documents now revealed expose Israel’s extensive and exceptional relations with a foreign country, not only because these political and security-based relations were with with a Muslim country, but because the relationship with the Shah’s dictatorship was strategic and central to the State of Israel from a security, economic and political point of view. At the time, Israel’s relations with many other countries were limited mainly to weapons sales in exchange for votes in international forums.

Thus, for example, Israel purchased a significant portion — and in some years all — of its oil from the Shah’s regime, while Iran used Israel as a middleman to sell its oil to third countries. The alliance over oil required that Israel and the Shah ensure the safety of shipping routes. This strengthened their partnership in the struggle against Egypt’s Gamal Abdel Nasser’s repeated attempts to promote ideological and military alliances throughout the Middle East that were hostile to Iran and Israel, particularly in the Gulf states and the Arabian Peninsula.

The story was about a Jewish diamond cutter who had his own business in Iran.  Suddenly the rebels were in control.  The Shah must have been just forced out of the country.  They now had the power and were going to rob the rich.  Their argument was, why should not all people have the same amount of money?  Why should there be people who have more and can have all these things while there are poor who cannot even afford shoes for their children?  It was the old banter of Communism. 

I can tell them in lecture after lecture why.  There are so many reasons why a democracy is so much better.  I'll start with my father.

                                             

My father, Meshke (Morris)-real name was Moses, standing in pcture, was born in 1908 in Portland, Oregon to new immigrants from Lithuania, Nathan Abraham Goldfoot and Zlata (Hattie) Jermulowske.  His father was in a fatal horse and wagon accident and was killed when Dad was 4 years old, leaving a pregnant widow who couldn't speak English, only Yiddish and her 3 children; 4 year old Meshke,  his 6 year old brother Kheskal, and Elsie.  My Bubba had lost Abraham, the baby, and soon would give birth to Anne. Bubby was illiterate; and would remain so,  and our unknown grandfather had been literate in reading Hebrew.  

Zlata managed to barely eke out a living plucking chickens, raising goats, doing what she could, while my father and Charlie sold newspapers at age 4 and 6, continuing with their jobs.  There was no help for her other than agencies that would have taken away her children from her.  She had relatives nearby; one who wanted to adopt my father.  He was so cute!   She said "NO."  She kept them all together, or rather they kept each other all together.                  

Dad boxed professionally as Billy Meshke at the Neighborhood House when of age to do so, then worked in a kosher butcher shop.  That led to his own business, small at first, then growing by leaps and bounds into Silver Falls Meat Packing Co.  He died too young in this very specialized business, but he was proud of his efforts.  He had given up  baseball in high school as he didn't finish his last year due to needing to work to provide for his family.  He was an athlete.  

This would have never happened under Communism.  The ability he had would have gone uncultivated.  It grew as he helped it develop.  If he wanted more money---he had to get the education for it, and that he did, in that kosher butcher shop.  He had background and knowledge.

You just don't get anywhere with an empty head with no knowledge.  People in the USA do everything they can to get the education they would like to have.  Most of us are too young and too dumb to know all this, so our parents step in and help us with decisions like what school to aim for in their education.  

Another man I know, just died at 95, was a lawyer, worked till he died like my father,  and his father had the law firm already established, so he followed in his father's footsteps.  That's good as he most likely has the genes fit for being successful, anyway.  He worked hard as a lawyer with the background of a great education and like friends. 

 His work that he produced was worth a lot of money due to that background.  It didn't come to him in scanning comic books.  He sweated a lot to get through his schooling.  All those books in the background had to be read to know the law.  Lawyer have basic prices they know they can expect to receive for their work.  The more successful they are, the more they can charge if they want.  

Now, his social security has been reduced  from a normal payout to a much lesser one due to his financial status of being wise and investing his profits and having a larger income.  His money that his wife is not receiving is going to new immigrants who are illegals, people in general like myself to raise our social  security for next year's income.  Remember, the richer lady is receiving less than us. 

Heaven help her as the stock market is falling rapidly.  It's all like being in a gambling parlor.  It's a gamble for the rich.   They tend to worry a lot about it, thus erasing years from their lives in such worry that the regular guy or gal knows nothing about.  Whatever in life, there's always something to worry about; whether you don't have enough money or if you're going to lose the money you have.

Back to Netflix's story.  It was terrible how the people reacted and what they did to our Jewish family;  not so much that they were Jewish but that they had money, and those that were rebelling didn't have enough to meet their basic needs.  This is what the Ayatollah sparked in them;  this rebellion which went along with not following the rules of Islam, which they magnified 100%.  The people were trapped into two avenues; religion and finances.

The story centers on the maid of the Jewish family and how when she thought about her son's explanation of the rebellion, she had to agree with it.  She saw only how it could benefit her; while she herself was angry with the lady of the house for not ever thinking about her position in life.  

To be a citizen of a country has always had meaning behind the title.  It should mean that the people are all being supplied the basic needs of life, but to excel, there must be avenues to go about doing it for the ones who put out the effort.  For years our basic education through high school has meant a job afterwards; that you are a literate person who has met the qualifications needed to be productive in whatever position you take of that level.  To do more, we have higher education all over the country, and grants, etc, for those who meet the qualifications, or the tuition.  

This time immigrants from Venezuaela got caught in the fracas.  Many migrants who arrived  from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico told Fox News that they thought the border was open.  No excuse for Mexicans who should have known, even if only by word of mouth. Are none of them literate in their own language?  Are we not printing the facts of life for others to read?  The word is out that the US is a haven for countries that are problematic, and it's bringing in more than Mexicans now.  What kind of government are they all running from?  

Texas just did something about their being so close to the Mexican border.  They put illegals on buses and sent them all eastward to show Biden that he has to help Texas in their illegal immigration problem.  They must have thought, "Let Biden deal with it  and see how he likes it ! "

This is what closed the doors to Jewish immigration in about 1924.  Americans were afraid the Jews would take their jobs.  They didn't want the competition, so while Jews were dying in Europe, they couldn't find a country to open their doors to them.  The influx of Jewish immigrants was over.  It wouldn't even change during the ravages of the Holocaust.  To allow a German Jew into this country, my great uncle had to be the sponsor for one and pay for all his needs, and even to get him a job  if he couldn't.  It's always money that's the 1st concern in this life; money and one's religion.

1980, me in my new bottom floor apartment in Safed, Israel with bars on my living room windows so that terrorists would be stopped from entering.  I'm waiting for my things to arrive from the Us, so am sitting on a Sochnut single bed with a throw thrown over it to look like a daveno.  I'm dressed in my sheik dress for morning or bedtime, like a bathrobe.   I've studied Hebrew and just passed the 3 hour test by the skin of my teeth.  

I know what I went through to immigrate to Israel.  I had to undergo a 10 month Hebrew program and pass the test at the end to get a teaching position.  I was given low-low-low income housing for that period.  I was helped in getting a teaching position.  Is the USA capable of doing this for immigrants? 

 Of course, I was a wanted immigrant in Israel, and right now the USA doesn't need anymore Spanish speakers in  the USA, or soon Texas will revert back to being a Mexican state.   

Salma Hayek Pinault is a Mexican and American actress and producer. She began her career in Mexico with starring roles in the telenovela Teresa as well as the romantic drama El Callejón de los Milagros, for which she received an Ariel Award nomination.  Her father, Sami Hayek Domínguez, is of Lebanese descent. His ancestors hail from the city of Baabdat, Lebanon, a city Salma and her father visited in 2015 to promote her movie Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet.  She was raised as a Catholic.  

Adrien Nicholas Brody is an American actor and producer. He received widespread recognition and acclaim after starring as Władysław Szpilman in Roman Polanski's The Pianist, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor at age 29, becoming the youngest actor to win in that category.  His father is a Polish Jew.   Brody says he was raised "without a strong connection" to either Judaism or Christianity.

Are the Ayatollas Descendants of Haman?

With the introduction of the Ayatolahs after the Shah of Persia was exiled, the hatred of Jews began in Iran.  "The Shah left Iran in exile on 16 January 1979, as the last Persian monarch, leaving his duties to a regency council and Shapour Bakhtiar, who was an opposition-based prime minister.   Ayatollah Khomeini was invited back to Iran by the government, and returned to Tehran to a greeting by several thousand Iranians."   The shah and Israel had been getting along, fine.  The Iranian Revolution or Islamic Revolution was a series of events that culminated in the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and the replacement of his government with an Islamic republic under the rule of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a leader of one of the factions in the revolt. The revolution was supported by various leftist and Islamist organizations and student movements.

"The years of the Pahlavi dynasty, however — especially the reign of Muhammad Reza Shah (1941-1979) — are often considered a “Golden Age” for Iranian Jewry. The Iranian Jewish community thrived economically under the Shah’s reform plan, the “White Revolution” (1964-1979). The White Revolution’s rapid modernization provided exceptional opportunities for the Jewish community in Iran."

The Pahlavi dynasty is an Iranian royal dynasty of Mazanderani ethnicity. The Pahlavi dynasty originated in Iran's Mazandaran province. In 1878, Reza Shah Pahlavi was born at the village of Alasht in Savadkuh County, Mazandaran Province. His parents were Abbas Ali Khan and Noushafarin Ayromlou. His mother was a Muslim immigrant from Georgia (then part of the Russian Empire), whose family had emigrated to mainland Qajar Iran after Iran was forced to cede all of its territories in the Caucasus following the Russo-Persian Wars several decades prior to Reza Shah's birth. His father was a Mazandarani, commissioned in the 7th Savadkuh Regiment, and served in the Anglo-Persian War in 1856. But looking at his long tree, it started with Khans.  In my experience, all Khans have been Pashtuns, remnants of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel, now found as Pashtuns of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.  And why not throw in Persia as well?  This calls for DNA testing.  Then again, there are the descendants of Ghengis Khan, and they seem to have invaded Persia from the looks of the 7 sons of Haman's picture. John Andrew Boyle describes how, in the early thirteenth century, the Mongol hordes devastated Turkestan and Persia, where the grandson of Genghis Khan founded a dynasty.

"Anti-Semitism, however, remains. In 1999, 13 Jews from Shiraz and Isfahan were arrested on charges of spying for Israel, and they were convicted in 2000. By February 2003 all of them had been released, but the arrests planted fear in the heart of the Jewish community, bringing its loyalty under question."  Since then, when asked, Jews tell news commentators that all is fine.  Is that why my cousin's husband fled Iran when a teen-ager with others on camels to escape?  He managed to get out with the help of Jewish help in the USA and after a good education, is now a doctor.  Why did all those Jewish mothers allow their sons to risk their lives in escaping this marvelous country?  Hmmm.  

 Our history with Persia, for that's what Iran had been called for thousands of years until the Shah upgraded the name to Iran, is best known with Queen Esther and her husband, the King Ahasueros  around 538 BCE and the wicked Haman who wanted to kill all the Jews; sort of the 1st Hitler.  It's our Purim story. Esther saved the lives of all the Jews in the known world at that time.

 Haman and his sons were hanged for his plot to kill all the Jews, and that was the end of that wickedness, then.   

This was the period of  the Babylonian Empire's Cyrus after Babylonia had conquered Judah and took Jews to Babylonia.  The book of Esther reads that Jews were living throughout the 127 provinces of the Persian Empire and depicts them as a big population in which many important positions had been filled by them at the capital.   After some 80 years, the Jews had been  released from their bondage and allowed to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their Temple.  In fact, it was held that Cyrus was the grandson of Esther and the King of Persia and that's why he was so kind to the Jews.  "In fact the Jewish exiles regarded Cyrus as a Divine agent."  He was certainly not like Nebuchadnezzer had been in 721 BCE when he took the 10 Northern tribes away and they had never returned.  The land Cyrus was now holding was the very same that Nebuchadnezzer had had.   

My mother loved the story of the Shah.  He was very much in love with his wife, but she had been barren and he needed a son.  He had to marry another, and it seemed to break both their hearts.  They had my mother's endearing love and support.  He was a good man in her eyes. His fate was like soap opera.  

Then, On 19 November 1977, Sadat of Egypt became the first Arab leader to visit Israel officially when he met with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, and spoke before the Knesset in Jerusalem about his views on how to achieve a comprehensive peace to the Arab–Israeli conflict, which included the full implementation of UN ...

The Shah left Iran for exile on 17 January 1979. ... Soon thereafter, the Iranian monarchy was formally abolished, and Iran was declared an Islamic republic led by Ruhollah Khomeini. The Shah died in exile in Egypt, whose president, Anwar Sadat, had granted him asylum..  Anwar Sadat, the President of Egypt, was assassinated 6 October 1981. during the annual victory parade held in Cairo to celebrate Operation Badr, during which the Egyptian Army had crossed the Suez Canal and taken back a small part of the Sinai Peninsula from Israel at the beginning of the Yom Kippur War.

Jews are not the only ones that the Ayatollas hate.  When Ruhollah Khomeini came to power in 1979, he called for homosexuals to be "exterminated", and one of his first political actions was to institute imprisonment, corporal punishment, and the death penalty for any sexual acts outside traditional Islamic heterosexual marriage. In a 1979 interview with The New York Times, a journalist asked Khomeini to justify the state-sanctioned shootings of homosexuals. In reply Khomeini compared them as well as other adulterers to gangrene, thieves, and murderers.

Iran is currently one of the only Sharia jurisdictions to execute gay men. Amnesty International reports that approximately 5,000 gays have been executed in Iran since the revolution, including two gay men executed in 2014, both hanged for engaging in consensual homosexual relations.

                                                             

       Former president Ahmadinejad of IRAN, off to bomb Israel

Jews get the double-speak from the Ayatollas.  "When Iran speaks of wiping Israel off the map, it doesn’t mean the mass slaughter of the country’s Jews but rather eliminating the Jewish state’s “imposed regime,” Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Friday.

“The disappearance of Israel does not mean the disappearance of the Jewish people, because we have nothing against [Jews],” Khamenei said, speaking alongside senior Iranian officials at the so-called 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference.

“Wiping out Israel means that the Palestinian people, including Muslims, Christians and Jews, should be able to determine their fate and get rid of thugs such as [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu,” Khamenei continued, according to Iranian media.

Ahmadinejad abides by Iran's long-standing policy of refusing to recognize Israel as a legitimate state, and wants the Jewish people who immigrated to Israel to return to their"fatherlands"translated).              

Jews just so happen to feel that Israel is their fatherland and are returning to it in droves like the swallows of Capistrano.  It's the time of Return.  

"Tweets from Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calling for the genocide of the Israeli people — claiming in a stunning letter obtained by The Post that the Jew-hate qualified as “comments on current affairs.”

In a May 20 letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Israel’s Minister for Strategic Affairs Orit Farkash-Hacohen called for the company to uphold its own hate speech policy and remove antisemitic tweets from Khamenei calling Israel a “cancerous growth” to be “uprooted and destroyed.”

Gregory Stanton, the founder of Genocide Watch, has labelled Ahmadinejad's remarks on Israel to be Incitement to Genocide, comparing Iran's Regime to Nazi Germany. Stanton added that he believes Iran is undergoing the Seventh Stage (Preparation) of the Ten stages of genocide. 

Many of his pronouncements over the last eight years will surely linger in memories of Iranians and world citizens alike.  Ahmadinejad frequently talks about how Israel should be eliminated or "wiped off the map."  At a 2006 conference held in Iran in support of Palestinians he said: "The existence of the Zionist regime is tantamount to an imposition of an unending and unrestrained threat so that none of the nations and Islamic countries of the region and beyond can feel secure from its threat."  Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust a myth numerous times, but in 2009, representatives of several nations walked out of the United Nations' General Assembly because of his remarks: "They (the Western powers) launched the myth of the Holocaust. They lied, they put on a show and then they support the Jews." Earlier, in October 2006, NBC's Brian Williams interviewed Ahmadinejad and asked about some of his statements. The Iranian president said he wanted to use a "scientific approach" when analyzing the logistics of the Holocaust.                        

And, just who was Haman to be called the 1st Hitler?  He was the chief minister of King Ahasueros, King of Persia.  He resented the independent attitude of Esther's Uncle Mordecai, though he didn't know of the relationship.  He hated him because he was a Jew in their land and this led him to detest ALL Jews and planned their annihilation.  His scheme was exposed by Esther.  Haman and his sons were hanged by the order of the king.  In memory of their deliverance, the Jews all over observe the festival of Purim.  Haman was descended from Agag, king of Amelek, the cruel people who attacked the Israelites while on  the Exodus as they passed through;  the only ones to act this way. They killed the weak and the weary.  Finally, Joshua defeated them.  They are regarded as the eternal foe.  Their presence was a standing threat to the nation.   The name of Haman has become synonymous with an enemy of the Jews.  

Yet, every generation must learn sooner or later, and we are so trusting and naive.  "But at the same time, Jews were optimistic about the regime change. When Ayatollah Khomeini — a senior Shi’a Muslim cleric and the future Supreme Leader of the country, returned to Iran on the February 1, 1979, 5,000 Jews, led by Iranian Chief Rabbi Yedidia Shofet, were among those welcoming him. Some of them held pictures of Khomeini and signs proclaiming: “Jews and Muslims are brothers.”  Well, we tried:  to no avail.  

DUBAI (Reuters) - "The United Arab Emirates has betrayed the Islamic world and the Palestinians by reaching a deal toward normalizing ties with Israel," Iran’s top authority Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday.  The deal, the first accommodation between an Arab country and Israel in more than 20 years, was forged in part as a result of shared fear of Iran. It has dismayed Palestinian leaders, however, who believe it further erodes their struggle for an independent state.
