iRANIAN REVOLUTION STARTED UP AGAIN YESTERDAY

The Iranian Revolution that was said to have started yesterday greeted me at 8:30am this morning by Tousi's station.  According to him, the main TV stations were told of it but don't seem to want to announce it.  Tousi's station is showing how the streets are full of revolutionaries and about 10 policemen in a group here and there are on motorcycles.                            

 They are shooting at the street people.  The people are begging them to join them.

The Central Bank resigned and is no longer there and the money is worthless.  Another has taken his place.

The Prince, now referred to as the King sends his support.

Touse pointed out that Israel has been given permission from Trump to fight in defense if it is fighting  against Iranian missiles and also anything nuclear. 

This makes 2 things Iran has to be concerned with right now.  Tousi was quite happy about Israel possibly joining in the fight, which they have all along in certain ways.  

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi to Attend Security Meeting Tomorrow in Europe

The 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2026 is taking place from February 13–15, 2026, in Munich, Germany, with high-level discussions focusing on global security challenges, European defense, and the transatlantic partnership. Key attendees include German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other international leaders. 

Here is Reza as the child Prince.  His father was the Shah of Iran, and a friend of the USA and Israel.  As a cadet of the Imperial Iranian Air Force, he moved to the United States for pilot training at Reese Air Force Base in 1978 when 18. He was trained as a pilot; his first solo flight was at the age of 11, and he obtained his license a year later.

His father was overthrown and the monarchy was abolished by the Iranian Revolution led by Ruhollah Khomeini. In 1980,at age 20,  following the death of his father in exile in Cairo, Egypt, Reza Pahlavi declared himself shah of Iran, styling himself "Reza Shah II", and actively participated in political activities opposing the Islamic Republic from abroad.

Khomeini, born September 24, 1902, took over because certain things were seen to be happening.  Iranians were becoming too modern like the rest of the world in the religious eyes.   The 1979 Khomeini Revolution resulted from widespread discontent with Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s autocratic rule, forced modernization (I doubt very much if you force someone to be modern;  this comes from Khomeini;)  and inequality, uniting diverse opposition groups under Ayatollah Khomeini’s religious leadership. Key factors included severe economic strain, violent crackdowns on protesters, and the Shah's weakened health, leading to his exile and the establishment of an Islamic republic. 

Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini was an Iranian cleric, politician, political theorist and revolutionary who founded the Islamic Republic of Iran and served as its first supreme leader from 1979 until his death in 1989.   

 As a Shiʿi scholar and teacher, Khomeini produced numerous writings on Islamic philosophy, law, and ethics, but it was his outspoken opposition to Iran’s ruler, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, his denunciations of Western influences, and his uncompromising advocacy of Islamic purity that won him his initial following in Iran. In the 1950s he was acclaimed as an ayatollah, a major religious leader, and by the early 1960s he had received the title of grand ayatollah, thereby becoming one of the supreme religious leaders of the Shiʿi community in Iran. By the early 60's, the Shah brought in modernization with the WHITE REVOLUTION, AND opposition to the government united conservative clerics, the secular left, and others, who often found common ground under a banner of Shiʿi identity, SO IT WAS THE MODERNS VS SHI'I RELIGION OF ISLAM.  

 Despite being in exile since 1964, Khomeini became the focal point for the opposition, calling for strikes, civil disobedience, and the overthrow of the Shah.

Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has been invited to the 2026 Munich Security Conference, with reports indicating he is expected to appear as a speaker at associated demonstrations on February 14, 2026. He has declared this date a global day of action for the "Lion and Sun" movement.   He was heard on Tousi.tv saying he was planning on attending.  

•  Following an invitation to the conference, Munich police anticipate Pahlavi's involvement in protest rallies, which are expected to be among the largest in recent years. 
•  The focus is to press the international community for support regarding the situation in Iran.
• This follows earlier 2025 reports of diplomatic pressure regarding his invitations, but the 2026 invitation was confirmed as of early February. 

The event coincides with the 2026 Munich Security Conference, which brings international leaders together, including delegations from the Middle East.

It is still a feeling among some Americans that  the United States played a significant, albeit complex, role in the Shah of Iran's departure in 1979. While the revolution was driven by internal Iranian opposition, U.S. policies under President Carter—focused on human rights and perceived instability—along with mixed signals from officials, undermined the Shah’s confidence and control, contributing to his decision to leave.    I thought the family left to save their lives.  That was AI speaking.

Iran's Foreign Minister Serves a Hot Potato To USA

With good intentions, the combo of Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff seems to me to have been wasting their time in Oman on Friday trying to debate with hardened Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi. Jared and Steve also have the Ukraine-Russia War to deal with. Now on the sea the air carrier issue with the Abraham Lincoln; 

Is this subject a hot potato?   A "hot potato" subject is a highly controversial, sensitive, or risky issue that people avoid discussing or dealing with because it causes strong disagreement and discomfort. Originating in the mid-1800s from "dropping something like a hot potato," it signifies a topic "too hot to handle," such as intense political debates, layoffs, or divisive social issues.

 Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s hours-long talks with Iran in Oman ended Friday with Tehran refusing to budge on nuclear enrichment.

The US responded by immediately ratcheting up sanctions to deliver economic pain to Iran and flexing its military might by flying fighter jets in the Arabian Sea above the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group. 

President Trump has been threatening a military bombardment of Iran for weeks after the brutal murder of thousands of anti-regime protesters. The talks on Friday were a chance for diplomacy, but Iran didn’t want to address its ballistic missile stockpile and the regime’s brutality on protesters.

That's my hot potato.  Why isn't Trump addressing the Revolution going on in Iran of the young people who find themselves with no water, so unable to grow their own food, have no jobs, nothing to live for under the Ayatollah regime, now holding the last chance they have of rebelling in this Revolution.  The Iranian government cut out their internet as well, so it's hard for our ABC, NBC, CBS, but Newsnation seemed to get info about what's happening now. There sat ships giving hope to the people of being supported that did nothing but sit there while 40,000 or more were slaughtered, and Trump proudly bragging how he saved 800 from the hangman.Maybe true, but he could do a heck of a lot more;  especially on Friday.  What Iran does is shoot to kill people of the Revolution.  Israel has been said to be there helping the Revolutionaries.  

Iran's top diplomat said on Friday that nuclear talks with the US mediated by Oman were off to a “good start” and set to continue, in remarks that could help allay concern that failure to reach a deal might nudge the Middle East closer to war.

A regional diplomat briefed by Tehran on the talks told Reuters that Iran insisted on its "right to enrich uranium" during the negotiations with the US, but showed openness to discussing the “level and purity” of enrichment or alternative arrangements, including a potential regional consortium.

 Abbas has served as the foreign minister of Iran since August 2024. He previously served as the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as the Iranian ambassador to Finland and to Japan.  His father died when he was 17. As a teenager, he took part in the 1979 Islamic Revolution, after which he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, where he served for almost ten years and fought in the Iran–Iraq War.

Araghchi acted as Iran's chief nuclear negotiator in talks with the P5+1, under president Hassan Rouhani leading up to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action between Iran and the United States. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, also known as the Iran nuclear deal or Iran deal, was an agreement to limit the Iranian nuclear program in return for sanctions relief and other provisions. The agreement was finalized in Vienna on 14 July 2015, between Iran and the P5+1 together with the European Union.

 Araghchi holds a Ph.D. in political thought from the University of Kent with a thesis entitled The Evolution of the Concept of Political Participation in Twentieth-Century Islamic Political Thought (1996). Supervised by David McLellan, a scholar of Marxism, the thesis argues that modern Islamic political thought has attempted to reconcile the doctrine of divine sovereignty with the concept of popular sovereignty by incorporating aspects of Western democratic theory into Islamic principles, thereby developing democratic institutions within the framework of Islamic law.

He is fluent in Arabic and English. 

We need another PhD educated in political thought  with knowledge of nuclear Iran.  They need the same level of education from either Princeton, U of California-Berkley, Yale, U of Chicago, U of Notre Dame or Stanford to be good debators or holding their own in such discussions. 

Jared Kushner (b: January 10, 1981, age 45, son in law of Donald Trump;   Kushner graduated from the Frisch School, a Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school, in 1999 and enrolled at Harvard University in the same year.  At Harvard, Kushner was elected into the Fly Club, supported the campus Chabad house led by Hirschy Zarchi,and bought and sold real estate in Somerville, Massachusetts, as a vice president of Somerville Building Associates (a division of Kushner Companies), Kushner graduated from Harvard with honors in 2003, with a B.A. degree in government.

Kushner then enrolled in the JD/MBA dual degree program at the New York University School of Law and New York University Stern School of Business, and graduated with both degrees in 2007.  With his yeshiva work, he should be able to hold his own with debating Abbas.  

Steve Witkoff, b: March 15, 1957, 68 years old, Education from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University (1983), Hofstra University (1980)which is a private university located in Hempstead, New York (on Long Island), approximately 25 miles from New York City. It is a suburban, 240-acre campus known for hosting presidential debates and offering a wide range of academic programs. Hofstra is listed as #570 in Best Colleges in America.

The Lebanon backed by Iran's Hezbollah--Israel Fight

If the Ayatollah's government of Iran falls any day now, which the people of the Revolution need to bring about desperately, Lebanon will be freed of these terrorists as Iran would stop funding them.  As of early February 2026, Iran is experiencing intense, widespread, and deadly anti-government protests, with some analysts viewing it as a potential, albeit suppressed, revolutionary moment following a major crackdown on unrest that began in late December 2025. These protests are largely driven by economic desperation, with the currency at record lows, and have spread to over 110 cities, demanding systemic change. 

• ‘Wave of Strikes’ Against Hezbollah: The IDF announced on November 6 that it had launched “a wave of strikes” targeting the Iran-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued evacuation warnings to Lebanese residents in the southern Lebanese villages of Taybeh, Tayr Debba, Aita El-Jabal, Zawtar El Charqiyeh, and Kfar Dounine in advance of the airstrikes. Israel later announced that the strikes had targeted infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces. Earlier in the day, the IDF launched strikes against Hezbollah targets in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon.

He previously served as the commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) from March 2017 until his election to the presidency, ending a two-year political stalemate. His election ended a vacancy that lasted from October 2022 to January 2025. 
• Hezbollah Warns Against Direct Negotiations With Israel: After Lebanese President Joseph Aoun asserted on November 3 that Beirut had no option but to enter into negotiations with Israel, Hezbollah responded that it was not obligated to parley with Jerusalem in any way despite being bound by the November 2024 ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel. “We affirm our legitimate right to resist occupation and aggression and to stand by our army and our people to protect the sovereignty of our country,” a Hezbollah statement declared. (Just like Hezbollah to blame Israel.)
• Ceasefire Violations: The IDF asserts that ongoing Hezbollah presence in the south of Lebanon constitutes a breach of the Israel-Lebanon agreement.
• Lebanon’s prime minister, Nawaf Salam, says plans to demilitarize the south of the country are “on track”... with the Lebanese army expanding its presence there, particularly near the border with Israel. But the Israeli army says otherwise, accusing Hezbollah of reestablishing its military infrastructure in the area.  (As I listen to the video, I can't believe these people not understanding what Hezbollah has been doing to Israel, how they defend them. so.)
• On 8 October 2023, a day after Hamas launched its 7 October 2023 attacks on Israel and Israel began its bombing of Gaza, Hezbollah joined the conflict in "solidarity with the Palestinians" who performed the atrocities of death, initially firing on Israeli military outposts in Shebaa Farms and the Golan Heights — both territories under Israeli occupation.

The Forward Backs Up Tousi About What's Going On In Iran

The Forward played it carefully, calling it a protest.  Out of a touch of memory loss for words, I called it "War." for it sounded more like a war to me.  It's common for writers to call it things like a rumble or protest.  The Forward (Yiddish: פֿאָרווערטס, romanized: Forṿerṭs), formerly known as The Jewish Daily Forward, is an American news media organization for a Jewish American audience. Founded in 1897 as a Yiddish-language daily socialist newspaper,

Iranian cities are engulfed in anti-regime protests, the largest in several years. Initially sparked by economic frustration, the demonstrations have quickly expanded to include broader grievances — particularly anger at Iran’s foreign policy. 

One chant heard repeatedly in videos circulating from inside Iran captures that anger succinctly: “Neither Gaza, nor for Lebanon — my life is only for Iran.”

Many protesters are also calling for the return of the Pahlavi dynasty, which ruled Iran until the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Videos shared online show protesters chanting slogans in favor of the former monarchy or displaying symbols associated with it, including the pre-revolutionary Iranian flag.

Now, protesters in Iran are kissing their lives good-bye, knowing they can be shot for it and evidently the government has been doing a lot of that.  So I believe they are calling it a Revolution in their own language because both will be punished the same-with death.  Iran has had many Revolutions, and this one seems to be the biggest-even though no one here recognizes it as such.  

It wasn't that long ago when this Revolution happened:  The 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini (also known as Jina Amini), died on September 16, 2022, after being detained by Iran's morality police for allegedly wearing her hijab improperly. Her death sparked the nationwide "Woman, Life, Freedom" protests/revolution that same month, challenging the Islamic Republic's mandatory dress code (September 2022)  Remember that.  

Today, many Iranians see a collapsing economy. On Dec. 28, the Iranian rial — the country’s currency — plunged against the U.S. dollar, intensifying a long-running economic crisis marked by soaring prices and an annual inflation rate of around 40 percent. (Their rial is worth nothing.  The young people have no money, jobs, water, or food.  They don't have much reason to live.
