When Trump and Others Use Descriptive political Words

When Trump and other political leaders use such words as Socialism, Communism and Nazism, what is really being conveyed?  To call someone a socialist or even a communist is not the same as calling them a Nazi !  A moderator sounded like she didn't know the difference on a panel online.  

A discussion took place on a TV show of CNN, I believe it was, yesterday, and I wanted to interject:  Nazism is not the same and shouldn't be spoken  in the same breath as the other words.  Only Nazism caused the death of 6 million Jews.  Only Nazism started with anti Semitism in Germany to the point of selection of Jews to be persecuted in Germany of dismissal of businesses and professionals in their workplace.  To even hear the word, Nazi,  raises fear in most all Jews' hearts even today.  We know anti Semitism has returned almost as bad as in the 1930s in Germany as well.

The panel discussed the uses of such terms and some wanted all erased from our use while the others wanted free speech and the use of them.

Please, know that descriptive words can cause stabbing in the heart to some of us regardless.  Watch how you categorize such words.  Some words are not synonyms of all others.  Some religions teach this fact.  The old adage of Sticks and Stones can hurt my bones but words will never hurt me is not quite true.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

This quote is attributed to the prominent German pastor Martin Niemöller. It is sometimes mistakenly referred to as a poem. 

After World War II, Niemöller openly spoke about his own early complicity in Nazism and his eventual change of heart. His powerful words about guilt and responsibility still resonate today. 

What we forget is that socialism or communism came out of an era way back in time of kings, emperors, emirs, Tzars and such, where there was one man (usually a man) at the helm, a dictator.  Socialism looked pretty good compared to what they had been under;  and the same goes for communism.  

Nazism deserves its own paragraph.  It came out of  the Weimar Republic, a parliamentary democracy established in 1918 after the collapse of the German Empire during World War I. The Weimar Republic was named after the city of Weimar, where its constitution was drafted. They had started WWI and were suffering from the effects themselves not to mention what that did to other countries.  As it happened, anti-Semitism hasprevailed ever since emperor Constantine of the Romans and have been the brunt of people ever since.

Oppenheimer: The Movie and the Subject, From a Long Line of Oppenheimers

The movie, Oppenheimer is opening this weekend with Matt Damon. Good Morning American on abc was advertising it this morning.  If you were alive during WWII, that name will be familiar to you.  Younger people might not know about Oppenheimer, but he had something to do with the Atomic Bomb, so he had a lot to do with the USA winning in the war.  Oppenheimer will release in theatres on July 21. The film is about J Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist remembered as one of the fathers of the atom bomb.

• Amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Universal Pictures has extended its support and cancelled the upcoming red carpet at the US premiere of Oppenheimer. Robert J. Oppenheimer belonged to a family of Oppenheimers who were distinguished, one of many from a family of intellects. He was a professor of physics at the University of California and the California Institute of Technology from 1929 to 1947, and directed atomic energy research and the manufacture of the atom bomb during World War II.  (genealogy below)

On 6 and 9 August 1945, the United States detonated two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, respectively. The aerial bombings together killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians, and remain the only use of nuclear weapons in an armed conflict.                                

Oppenheimer was probed in a controversial four-week hearing in 1954.

In 1947 to 1966, he was director of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.  Oppenheimer served as chairman of the general advisory committee of the US atomic energy commission until 1954 when he was suspended following allegations of leftwing associations.  

The hearing resulted in Oppenheimer's Q clearance being revoked. This marked the end of his formal relationship with the government of the United States, and generated considerable controversy regarding whether the treatment of Oppenheimer was fair, or whether it was an expression of anti-Communist McCarthyism.  Was anti-Semitism even considered back then as it is now?  I wonder.  

Doubts about Oppenheimer's loyalty dated back to the 1930s, when he was a member of numerous Communist front organizations, and was associated with Communist Party USA members, including his wife and his brother. These associations were known to Army Counterintelligence at the time he was made director of the Los Alamos Laboratory in 1942, and chairman of the influential General Advisory Committee of the AEC in 1947. In this capacity Oppenheimer became involved in bureaucratic conflict between the Army and Air Force over the types of nuclear weapons the country required, technical conflict between the scientists over the feasibility of the hydrogen bomb, and personal conflict with AEC commissioner Lewis Strauss.  

If the writers think this Oppenheimer's life is a great story plot, look at his ancestors.  

Robert is part of such a well-known family.  It goes back to Samuel Oppenheim/Oppenheimer (1630-1703) philanthropist and Court Jew, the 1st Jew to settle in Vienna after the 1670 expulsion of Jews.  He was Leopold I's agent and financier, helping to finance his wars with the Turks and the War of the Spanish succession.  then in 1697, he was accused of conspiring to murder his rival, Samson Wertheimer and was imprisoned until vindicated. Samson and Samuel were nephew and uncle.   Oppenheimer liberally supported the poor, Jewish scholars, and Judah Hasid's movement to settle in Palestine. I share genes with both Wertheimer and Oppenheimer. 

  Leopold I, a Spaniard,  Holy Roman Emperor  9 June 1640 – 5 May 1705) was Holy Roman Emperor, King of Hungary, Croatia, and Bohemia. He censored books.  The second son of Ferdinand III, Holy Roman Emperor, by his first wife, Maria Anna of Spain, Leopold became heir apparent in 1654 after the death of his elder brother Ferdinand IV. Elected in 1658, Leopold ruled the Holy Roman Empire until his death in 1705, becoming the second longest-ruling Habsburg emperor (46 years and 9 months). He was both a composer and considerable patron of music.

David Oppenheim/Oppenheimer (1664-1736) Nephew of Samuel, Rabbi and bibliophile, born in Worms, Germany and served as rabbi in Prague.  He built up a library of very expensive hand written books, but because of the censorship in Prague, kept them in Hanover.  780 handwritten and 5,421 printed books from his collection were bought by the Bodleian Library of Oxford in 1829, serving as the basis of its Hebrew section.  Oxford still has the Hebrew section.  "The Bodleian Library holds perhaps the best collection of Hebrew manuscripts in the world, alongside an extraordinarily rich collection of early Hebrew and Yiddish printed books. All fields of traditional Hebrew scholarship are represented in the collection.

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, and the historical capital of Bohemia. Cancel culture and the silencing of unpopular views often feels like a distinctly modern phenomenon. But as King Solomon so presciently wrote, “There is nothing new under the sun.” In fact, our own highly polarized society is placid and peaceful in comparison to the cultural climate of 16th century Europe, when the Protestant Reformation tore apart the religious and political order of Catholic Europe. Religious debates fueled massacres, beheadings and dismemberments of both Protestants and Catholics, with the Jews too often caught in between.  Amidst all the gore, ecclesiastical authorities in Rome and throughout the Catholic world concluded: books are dangerous.

Joseph ben Issachar Susskind Oppenheimer (1698-1738) was a financier appointed by Carl Alexander of Wurttemberg as his finance minister in 1732.  He endeavored to consolidate the duchy's finances and free its ruler from dependence on grants from the estates.  His "modern" financial methods aroused much opposition and after the death of the duke in 1737, he was accused of embezzling state finances and was hanged at Stuttgart, nominally for having sexual relations with Christian women.  He refused to save his life by accepting baptism.  His career is the subject of many books, including the novel Jew Suss by Lion Feuchtwanger.  This was definitely a murder in the name of anti-Semitism.  

An interesting Oppenheimer of the 1800s was Franz Oppenheimer, MD, PhD (1864-1943) a German economist and sociologist.  Originally a physician, his work confronted him with social problems and he became a sociologist. 

He created a theory of liberal socialism in contrast to Marxist socialism, fusing agrarian reform and agricultural cooperation.  His fight was directed chiefly against landed property, and he participated in several experiments to implement his theories.  

He was associated with the Zionist movement, and the Merhavyah cooperative settlement was founded in Palestine in 1911 according to his theories.  

In 1919, Oppenheimer was appointed professor at Frankfort.  

After the Nazi advent to power, he settled in the USA.  

                                               

Our Robert J. Oppenheimer:  J. (Julius) Robert Oppenheimer was born in New York City on April 22, 1904. His parents, Julius S. Oppenheimer, a wealthy German textile merchant, and Ella Friedman,born in New York City,  an artist, were of Jewish descent but did not observe the religious traditions. He studied at the Ethical Culture Society School, whose physics laboratory has since been named for him, and entered Harvard in 1922, intending to become a chemist, but soon switching to physics. He graduated summa cum laude in 1925 and went to England to conduct research at Cambridge University's Cavendish Laboratory, working under J.J. Thomson.

   Oppenheimer and Albert Einstein (1879-1955), also a physicist, born in Ulm, Germany, professor at Zurich and Prague.  In 1914 he was professor of physics at Berlin Univ, earlier a professor at Zurich and Prague. In 1921 had won the Nobel Prize.  for his quantum theory.   In 1933, at age 54,  the rise of Nazism, Einstein moved to USA.  He was offered the presidency of Israel after Weizmann died in 1952 but turned it down. He was interested in Israel's scientific institutions, though, especially the Hebrew Univ. of which he was a trustee and to which he donated the manuscripts of his theory of relativity.                                              

  Max Born (1882-1970) Physicist, dismissed from his post at Gottingen by the Nazis in 1933 at age 51 because he was Jewish.  He moved to England, returning to Germany after 1945.  He was an authority on the quantum theory, atomic structure, the dynamics of matter, and relativity, was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1954.  Born also did not identify himself with Judaism.  These were two very scientifically minded but so reformed,  assimilated, Hellenistic Jews who had buried their identification with their past.  

In 1926, Oppenheimer went to the University of Göttingen to study under Max Born, obtaining his Ph.D. at the age of 22. There, he published many important contributions to the then newly developed quantum theory, most notably a famous paper on the so-called Born-Oppenheimer approximation, which separates nuclear motion from electronic motion in the mathematical treatment of molecules. In 1927, he returned to Harvard to study mathematical physics and as a National Research Council Fellow, and in early 1928, he studied at the California Institute of Technology. He accepted an assistant professorship in physics at the University of California, Berkeley, and maintained a joint appointment with California Institute of Technology. In the ensuing 13 years, he "commuted" between the two universities, and many of his associates and students commuted with him. 

He died February 18, 1967 in Princeton, New Jersey at the young age of 63.  Oppenheimer retired from the Institute in 1966 and died of throat cancer on February 18, 1967.

Anti-Semitic Paranoid J. Edgar Hoover; FBI Director

John Edgar Hoover b: January 1, 1895 d: May 2, 1972
only 5'7" but practiced secret abuses of power and kept secret files
on activists and political leaders by using illegal methods.

America's 1st FBI Director was J. Edgar Hoover, who was deeply anti-Semitic; so anti-Semitic that he was paranoid about it.  This Republican took office on May 10, 1924 and nobody dared to get rid of him in this position.  He died in office on May 2, 1972, a threat to  presidents Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Robert Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon.    These presidents feared his intimidation and threats.  He kept secret files of people's sex lives and so used the fear of scandal and blackmail against Washington.

His paranoid against Jews showed up in the 1920s in that he always thought that Jews were subversives so ordered an investigation of the Irish nationalist politician, Eamon de Valera.  His grounds were that he was a "suspected Jew!"

This New York City born Irishman, Eamon de Valera,  became  the 3rd President of Ireland from 1959 to 1973.  He was a political man, but not Jewish.  In fact, he believed in the Catholic church and that it was most important to Irish identity.

My grandfather lived in Dublin for a very short time after immigrating from Lithuania, a hotbed of anti-Semitism when Nathan Goldfus turned 18 in 1888.  He got to England, then thought things would be better in Ireland, as many Jewish Lithuanians also thought.  They were all escaping war and being forced to be on the front lines being Jewish, pogroms where they were beaten up or faced possible death there.  This became the era when Jews immigrated to the USA in greater numbers and life under Russia was unbearable.  Many had made aliyah to Palestine starting in 1880.

Hoover's FBI became his secret police force, similar to the Gestapo used by the Nazis.  He started his own illegal wiretap in the 1920s until Roosevelt's assistant attorney general ordered him to stop in the late 1930s.  He had bugged congressmen and cabinet members during the Roosevelt administration.  For that, Roosevelt looked the other way when the British wiretapped Hoover's office in the Justice Department.  It was the British Sir William Stephenson who leaked wiretap information on pro-Nazi American businessmen to Hoover.  The Rockerfeller building was bugged on several important floors.  Clubs, law firms, shipping agencies did not escape his wire tapping,

As it turned out, Hoover wouldn't go after American Nazis, causing Stephenson  to murder a few as he would not act on those he learned about.  Instead, he went after communists.  He formed his own view that far too many Jews were Red sympathizers, and spread this to the people who worked for him.  He was paranoid about it, and the British took advantage of it.  They kept extensive electronic surveillance facilities in the USA during WWII and kept them in place when the war ended.  Great numbers of American Jews were spied on and this was all passed onto Hoover.

The FBI had the British intelligence on the American Jews who favored in independent Jewish state in Palestine and had been helping financially or otherwise.  Remember that this had already been voted on by the League of Nations who had established the 30 year mandate for the British on Palestine that would free Jews there to establish Israel on May 14, 1948, the date the British would leave.  When the Jews announced on that date the establishment of Israel, Truman would vote yes in the United Nations.

This could have been about my 3rd cousin, Stanley Goldfoot, who was the Chief of Intelligence for this group.  He lived in New York City and established a magazine about our Jewish state to be then.  He was born and raised in South Africa after his father's family had left Lithuania.  My grandfather shared a home in Dublin with his family.  He had good health, though, and was a great writer.  Hoover most likely had a dossier on him, too.  
                                                                                 

Ben Gurion, who became Israel's 1st president, had sent agents to the USA but didn't realize that they would be under surveillance before they ever got off the boat!  Golda Meir's arms-for-Israel campaign caused the FBI to listen to her and her colleagues in their spying.  
                                                                                   

The FBI kept spying on Jews from 1946 onward to convince President Truman that the Jews were supporting the "Zionist-Communist terrorists" in Palestine .  He was of the opinion  fed by the British that the Soviets were backing the this Jewish-Communist conspiracy.  He was convinced that there was a worldwide Jewish-Communist conspiracy.  From late 1947 on for several years, the FBI found large stockpiles of ammunition and explosives collected by prominent American-Jewish businessmen destined for Palestine, which makes me want to cry.  I know how hard it was for these valiant Jews to collect this and get it to Palestine, as it was so much needed in order to carry out the promise of the League of Nations that they were to be awarded their Jewish Homeland.  That the British were ordered to help them and see that they did everything to impede this grant makes me ill.

The British refused to defend Jews from Arab attacks so they had to contrive ways of defending themselves or die.  Haganah was created as a clandestine organization for Jewish self defense in Palestine.  In 1948 it became Tzeva Haganah le-Israel.  It was all volunteer.  This became most important after the 1929 Arab riots when the British merely appeased the Arabs.  The Stern Group was a branch that broke off and was a little tougher.
  

At this time, the buying of surplus weapons was legal.  Hoover caused his own war against the Jews by doing this, and then he had the audacity to take it to the press.  The British made both groups, Jews and Arabs,  conflicting promises. But, more and more Jews arrived, buying land, starting businesses, and many Arabs wanted Britain to stop the influx. In their efforts to keep violence off the table, Britain forbade the Jews from arming.

In 1929, rumors spread that Jews were desecrating Arab Mosques in Jerusalem. Throughout Palestine, Jews were attacked. At the time, Haim Slavin was an engineer working for the Palestine Electric Corporation. Slavin set up to produce grenades. When the violence ended, hundreds of Arabs and Jews were dead

"Chaim Slavin, a Russian-born electrical engineer widely regarded as the father of Israel’s military industries, died of a heart attack July 1980 at the age of 72. He came to Palestine 56 years ago and was employed in hydroelectric projects until the late David Ben Gurion assigned him to organize underground arms production in the period before World War II."

 Hoover's spying had exposed  the fact that one of Ben-Gurion's chief American agents, this same Haim Slavin, had procured millions of dollars' worth of USA arms and equipment for the small amount of $800,000.  Small amounts that it was made from were paid for my many Jews' donations of $18, our designated amount for donations-with the meaning of "for life!"  Haim had engineered the Dror rifle as well as much of Israel's military industries and worked secretly, he thought, in the USA and Canada, but now we know he was spied on by Hoover.  He managed to acquire hundreds of tons of machinery and weaponry needed anyway.  
                                                                   

   
Ben Gurion had said of the Palestinian Arabs, ""There is a huge difference between us and our enemies. Not only in capacity, but in morality, culture, sacredness of life and consciousness. They are our neighbors here, but it is as if a few hundred meters away there was a people that did not belong to our continent, our world, which really belonged to another galaxy. "  He spoke of a kibbutz, Tsvi Dar which was at the forefront of the Israeli militaire industries,  .. well before the creation of the state (of Israel) , several were called Maflan (factories of manufacture of arms), and were organized and managed by Haim Slavin.

Hoover's anti-Semitism spread throughout the state department and intelligence community so by December 5, 1947, after the UN General Assembly had approved the partition plan for Palestine, the US placed an embargo on arms shipments to the Middle East and the State Department "specifically forbade the issuing of passports to persons wishing to serve with armed forces not under the US Government.  This time it was the British wiretapping that stopped American Jews from giving more than just token assistance to their friends in Palestine, but the FBI claimed all the "credit."  The embargo affected both Arabs and Jews.

Arabs were stirred against them by Nazis.  The population grew to 38,310 by 1967.  

The embargo came AFTER millions of dollars worth of American arms had been given to the Arabs.  All the Western allies followed the USA by arming the Arabs.  The British outdid the USA by sending more weapons but didn't join in on the embargo because they had more arms to deliver to the Arabs.  They even armed Iraq and Jordan "to the teeth" while Hoover kept the Jews disarmed.

The French got in on the action, too. They sent huge amounts into Syria and Lebanon to help the Arabs.  Then France and the US sent each other rumors of Jewish-Communist conspiracy to "bolster their bigotry."    If American Jews only knew that Hoover had worse plans for Jews.  They all were about to become the principal targets of FBI surveillance during the McCarthy era.  Even though the Anti-Defamation League of the B'Nai Brith had been helping by knowing who Nazi sympathizers were in the USA.  Hoover didn't like to ask Jews for this help.  Jewish informants were labeled by him as Premature Anti-Fascists and they all were under surveillance.  Anyone who voiced opposition to Hitler before December 1941 was a suspect by Hoover. and were called pinko PAFs or commie agents.

Hoover and his ilk believed that All Zionists were suspects as potential Communist terrorists.  If you gave money to Palestine they were terrorists or Communists.  I did in Sunday School.  We gave nickels and dimes we put  into a box called Karen amein which was charity.  If anyone emigrated to Palestine, they were labeled as a Soviet agent in disguise.  Poor rabbis who didn't know!

Robert Malley, Hamas Defender, New Right Hand Man For Obama: Mideast Coordinator

The Obama Administration continues to hold a grudge against Israel with their latest tactic.  His National Security Advisor is Susan Rice.  She just chose Robert Malley to succeed Philip Gordon as Special Assistant to the President and White House,  Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region. Gordon held the position since March 11, 2013.

Hamas Terrorists Brainwashing child

Robert Malley just happens to be very critical of Israel and is a Hamas defender.  This is what we get for the new Mideast Coordinator.  He's already been one of the players in forming the USA policy on Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the Gulf.  Rice is so looking forward to working with him.  I believe it was Rice who walked out on Netanyahu's speech at the UN for a more pressing luncheon date.  

“Malley worked for Obama in his first run for president as a foreign policy adviser. He was later fired for meeting with the Palestinian group Hamas, which the U.S. State Department classifies as a terrorist organization. “He was one of literally hundreds of informal, outside advisers,” Obama spokesman Bill Burton told ABC News. Hamas is also closely tied with the Muslim Brotherhood."  According to other commentators, it was really Obama who had Rice select him.  

Like many of us always say to each other, "But is he good for the Jews?"  His mother was Barbara Silverstein.  His father was a Jewish Syrian.   Sounds like a nice beginning, but his father was the late Simon Malley who was in the Egyptian Communist Party. "Simon was born to a Syrian -Jewish family who lived in Egypt and was born in Cairo on May 25, 1923. He died at the age of 83 on September 7, 2006. He was "bitterly" anti-Israel and also a confidante of PLO leader Yasser Arafat.  He was a critic of western imperialism and a supporter of many leftist revolutionary liberation movements, especially the cause for Palestinians.  Soviet money funded him and he backed the 19179 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.  This is quite a belligerent background  for one's father if one is going to work with Israel.  " In New York City, he met his wife, Barbara, an American, when she worked for the United Nations delegation of the National Liberation Front (NLF), the Algerian independence group. Malley took up the cause of the NLF and was important in publicizing its cause" as he was a journalist.  

Here's a case where the parents have helped to form the attitude of the son.  Robert is a smart guy, evidently since he attended Yale and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford in 1984.  He holds a PhD in political philosophy.  He has a JD from Harvard Law School where he might have met Barack Obama who was also there at the same time.  But he knows nothing about Israel and is on the Palestinian side.  Already he is highly prejudice.  It's like facing the UN; not a chance of having any fairness for Israel.  

Malley has blamed Israel and Ehud Barak as the cause of the Camp David failure and the Palestinians love that.  He wrote a piece in 2001, "Camp David:  The Tragedy of Errors."  This is when Barak was giving away most of Israel to the Palestinians, an unprecedented offer but was met by Arafat's NO.  Ehud Barak had made an offer of giving the Gaza Strip to the Palestinians, of which Israel gained in the 1967 War that they had won.  Also, he was giving them 95% of Judea and Samaria an parts (east) of Jerusalem.  The Temple Mount would remain under Israeli sovereignty, but the Palestinians would keep the custodianship which Jordan now held.  

 Robert Malley put the blame , if one can logically find blame when one is giving away so much of their little country, on Ehud saying he had taken an unnecessary hard line approach in negotiating with Arafat.  He said that Arafat believed that Barak was intent on 
1. either forcing him to swallow an unconscionable deal or
2. mobilizing the world to isolate and weaken the Palestinians if they refused to yield.

Really.  Truth is that Arafat had no intention of making a deal.  They didn't want to manage their own state.  They just wanted to destroy Israel.  This had been the deal of all deals by a very leftist prime minister.  

Now this is the clincher.  Guess who is on J Street's advisory council and has been for a number of years.  You got it.  Robert Malley.  

Oh yes, Malley said aback in 2007 that Assad of Syria could change his policies on collaborating with Iran and terrorist groups if the Bush administration ended its hostile policy with them.  Duh, 

He was sure good on figuring out the Palestinians, wasn't he?  Hamas took over, a very wild and feisty terrorist group that grew out of the PLO.  He said, "The more Hamas exercises government responsibility, the less it is likely to revert to violence."  They are still violent.   Later he said that "it was a mistake to think of groups like Hamas and Hizbullah as in terms of their terrorist violence dimension."  He sees them as s"social political movements, probably the most rooted movements in their respective societies.  Hamas has deep loyalty.  It has a charity organization, a social branch--it's not something you could  defeat militarily either.....There's so much misinformation about them.  I speak to them and my colleagues speak to them.  Now we may disagree with them, but they have their own rationale."  Too bad after all that studying that he can't see what's wrong with their rationale.  I suppose that the co-pilot for the German airline had his own rationale for crashing with 150 people on board, too, didn't he?

It seems that there are others who feel the Muslim Brotherhood is the way to go besides Malley, who evidently joined with Obama in wanting to curry favors with them.  One such person is "Mohamed Elibiary, a senior member of the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council.  

Our first inkling of this was right after Obama was elected as president and then went to Cairo for his famous Cairo speech.  It was then that he insisted the Muslim Brotherhood, who was outlawed in Egypt, was to attend and sit in the very front rows.  
                                                                                

 "The Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council, who supports some kind of American partnership with the Muslim Brotherhood," think that " a Caliphate,” or fundamental Muslim state, was inevitable in the future and compared it to the European Union,”  Look who they are siding with:  A Caliphate.  That's just what IS is creating, isn't it.  

Unfortunately we have some very irreligious Jews who have become self-haters.  He just joined the group.  

I am very concerned  about our security.  No wonder Obama was happy on CNN today talking about the deal made with Iran about their nuclear power.  He wanted it to come to a completion by today, good or bad.  I know Israel is not happy with it.  Obama could not have found a more biased person to fill Gordon's shoes.
