Judah's land was allocated by Joshua to the tribe of Judah back in the biblical days, around 1500 BCE. The Exodus of 40 years led Moses and Joshua to Canaan where Joshua dispensed the land to the 12 tribes.  Moses kept 2 census of the freed Egyptian slaves:  and Judah had 74,000 in the 1st census; then 76,500 outside of Canaan in the 2nd census.  They had added 1,900 more through new births even though some had died along the way.  Being Egyptian-raised, Moses was in the habit of keeping notes. Everything he experienced was written down in the 5 books he kept on scrolls, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. 

The land was ruled over by Judges at first, then kings like all the other surrounding lands.  Saul was chosen as the 1st king, then David was selected and David's son, Solomon was the 3rd king.  Their lives were recorded and read like Soaps on radio and then TV programs, they were so interesting, so human.  They made mistakes and had to correct them.  They had love affairs, lapses in religion, all sorts of things most people reading could relate to.

The monarchy generally passed peacefully from father to son in the Davidic House except for the usurpation of  Queen Athaliah (833-837) daughter of King Ahab of Israel, son of Omri (876-853 BCE) and Jezebel. So her father ruled the opposing land divided in Civil War before she ruled.  After Athaliah, Joash ruled (837-798 BCE) When Joash was 1 years old, the throne was seized by his grandmother, Athaliah, who had all members of the house of David murdered.  Joash was rescued by an aunt, Jehosheba, whose husband was the high priest, Jehoiada, and they kept Joash hidden in the Temple for 6 years. 

 Our history includes such human events; it does read like a Soap with tragedy galore along with ecstasy.   The Psalms, written by David,  have been enjoyed by people of all faiths, known for finding comfort.                

Like 3 Musketeers, we have Simeon in the South, Judah and little Benjamin bordering Judah.  They hung together as the Kingdom of Judah after the Assyrian kidnapping of the northern population.  

After Solomon died, a Civil War ensued and the Kingdom of Judah, the southern kingdom,  was separated in 933 BCE from her brothers.  Most of the tribe of Benjamin remained with her as well as absorbing the tribe of Simeon added to her strength.  Solomon's son, Rehoboam became king then in 933-917 BCE and the kingdom was lastly ruled by Zedekiah who ruled from 597-586 BCE.

Babylonians had attacked and had taken much of Judah's population to Babylonia and kept them for about 80 years, with the ruler, Cyrus, sending them back joyously to rebuild their destroyed Temple. Our history of Purim comes in this period with Haman trying to kill all Jews in the land and Queen Esther putting an end to him.  Judeans run into the Greek period with Alexander the Great  as their savior.  The  Greek Ptolemies & Seleucids were controlling the land. 

This brings us to the year 63  when  Rome (Pompey) annexed the land of Israel.  From 66 to 73 the First Jewish Revolt against Rome took place, and  happy days were there with Vespasian giving Yochanan ben Zakkai permission to establish a Jewish center for study at Yavneh that would become the hub for rabbinic Judaism.                        

That was just a tease.  The year of 70 will never be forgotten by Jews with the Destruction of Jerusalem and the second Temple.  Jews today still mourn this event. 

 It was the most traumatic experience of all except for the Holocaust of 1939-1946.  

Judaism was born with Abraham, developed by Moses, and we Jews have been following it ever since even though Christianity and Islam have tried to prevent our following of it.  Judah, later called Judea by the Romans, is our history, and our documented history at that.  It is a history 4,000 years long.  It's part of our genes.  We are called Jews because of the name, Judah.  

Some Jews managed to hide out in Israel even though the Romans didn't allow any to remain in Jerusalem.  There were Jews who made attempts and were successful in returning decades later.  

Jews all over the world are now returning to Israel.  It's written about (prophesized) in the Good Book (Old Testament)(Torah).  It's been happening ever since Israel was created again in May 14, 1948. Are you WOKE to our history?  It's only natural that Israelis want to live in their ancient land as every centimeter of it is precious to them.  

Samaria was the name of the capital of the northern Kingdom of Israel, founded in 880 BCE by King Omri.  It's purchase  on a hill is vetted in the Bible's Old Testament of  (I Kings 16:24). 

        Nablus was in Jordanian territory (1948-1967), then controlled by Israel.  It was under Egyptian control  since 12th century.  Our Jewish biblical Patriarchs camped under its walls and it was pillaged by the tribes of Simeon and Levi (Gen.34).  Later, Samaria was in the territory of Ephraim, and was a Levitical city and a city of refuge, as well as the center of the House of Joseph of the Jewish people.  Joseph was buried here.

In the year of 72, Vespasian founded the nearby Neapolis (modern Nablus) which became an important Roman city;  most of its inhabitant remained Samaritans. In 1967 had 44,000 population.  For decades it has been a center of fanatical Arab nationalism.  

This site is about 7 m. NW of Shechem (Nablus).  It's been taken over by the Arabs today.  The city developed there covered 25 acres.  King Ahab had lived here.  (I Kings 22:39).  The Syrians attacked it and Samaria (now a city) fell in 721 BCE  to Sargon II of Assyria who resettled it with Cutheans.  They intermingled (married ?) with the remnants of the former population and became the ancestors of the Samaritans.  

The name, Samaria, is also applied to the entire northern region as it is today, of the central highlands of what had been Palestine.  

It wasn't until England was given the 30 year mandate to rule over Palestine, the land that England had promised Jews their Jewish Homeland, that England gave away 80% of that promised land to Prince Abdullah of Arabia.  He was looking for land to be the king. It was then that Judea and Samaria were renamed as The West Bank-the bank of the Jordan River that was granted to Abdullah.  

Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein , 2 February 1882 – 20 July 1951) was the ruler of Jordan from 11 April 1921 until his assassination in 1951. He was the Emir of Transjordan, a British protectorate, until 25 May 1946, after which he was king of an independent Jordan. As a member of the Hashemite dynasty, the royal family of Jordan since 1921, Abdullah was a 38th-generation direct descendant of Muhammad.

 It wasn't the genealogy that impressed England into giving him this land, but it may have been the fact just discovered about oil on the property, and THAT they were interested in sharing.  It's always about money.

Oil shale in Jordan represents a significant resource. Oil shale deposits in Jordan underlie more than 60% of Jordanian territory. The total resources amounts to 31 billion tons of oil shale.  The modern exploitation of Jordanian oil shale began under Ottoman rule prior to and during World War I, when the German Army produced shale oil from the Yarmouk area. The oil shale was processed to operate the Hejaz Railway. It was mined and processed near the Maqarin station along the Haifa spur of the railroad, which partly follows the Yarmouk River valley. In addition to the shale oil production, oil shale was also utilized as a mix with coal to fuel locomotives.

All About the Contentious AREA C of Areas A, B, and C of JUDEA-SAMARIA (WEST BANK)

today Jews have only 8,000 sq miles-fitting into Pres. Bush's ranch.  

The League of Nations voted for a Jewish National Home to be made out of Palestine.  They gave the mandate to carry it out to the British who broke their agreement in 1922 by giving about 80% of it to Abdullah, a Hashemite prince  of Saudi Arabia and it became Transjordan with Jewish settlement there being barred.  (Be sure to listen to Professor Kontorovich on THE LEGAL CASE FOR ISRAEL listed below)
                                                

Jews historically were between the pogrom attacks of Russia and eastern Europe and the coming Nazi Holocaust.  The believers of One G-d had become the scapegoats of the world.  

                                                         

The UN (replacing the League of Nations) then partitioned the remaining 20%   into 2 states.  Jordan annexed their piece in 1950.  

Arabs now controlled  80% of the mandated territory and the Jewish state held a bare 17.5%..  Gaza, occupied by Egypt, was the remainder. Even after all the attacks Israel has gone through, Obama expected Israel to return to the 1949 armistice lines and give up what little land they had won in a defensive battle.  Netanyahu's answer was then a No- and it all happened on a TV program.

East Jerusalem is red. however, now as one Jerusalem.  

 Area A is exclusively administered by the Palestinian Authority; 

Area B is administered by both the Palestinian Authority and Israel.

Area C, which contains  Israeli villages and towns, is administered by Israel. 

                                        

Attacking Israel on June 5, 1967, led by Egypt,  were the massed Arab armies of the surrounding countries, and they lost.  This brought about Israel having to occupy some of Israel's frontiers.  

 Judea-Samaria (West Bank of the Jordan River) Until 1948 had been a part of British Mandate, then Jordan ruled till 1967,  annexing it in 1950. (facts about Israel).  

"The West Bank was never legally part of Jordan.  The UN's 1947 partition plan was accepted by Israel and rejected by the Arabs.  It said that the West Bank was to have been part of an independent Arab state in western Palestine, but the Jordanian army invaded and occupied it during  the 1948 War of Independence.  Then in 1950, Jordan annexed the West Bank, actually illegally in a take-over.

Great Britain  and Pakistan formally recognized the Jordanian takeover.  The USA and the rest of the world did not recognize this takeover, such as Russia took over Ukraine just recently-illegally.  

Between 1950 to 1967, Jordan allowed terrorists to launch raids into Israel.  Amman lost the West Bank after the Jordanian army entered the 1967 war in support of Egyptian dictator, Gamal Abdel Nasser." (Myths and Facts by Bard, and Himelfarb).    

Between June 1967 and December 1972, Israel had established 6 villages or towns in Judea and Samaria.  There are 3 different types of towns established for different reasons.

Nahal villages were established by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF)  This is the unit that combines military training with farm work.  Members become farmers at the end of their service.  They are located in military points like those held by any other unit of the IDF.  

Civilian villages were established in places Israel hopes may be assigned to Israel proper by peace treaties, maybe even  in an exchange program.  

Questionable communities established where the political future is not covered by Israel's known positions.  The hope is that even if this area is to go to Arabs, they will allow Jews to continue living there just as Arab communities live in Israel.  These communities are in historical and religious Jewish areas.  

Size of Judea-Samaria:  2,270 square miles (5.900 sq km)  Portland, Oregon is 145 sq miles.  Delaware is 1,195 sq mi.  So it's bigger than Delaware.  

The total population of Jews by 1972 living in administered areas was 4,200.(facts about Israel).

Areas A and B were chosen in such a way as to just contain Palestinians, by drawing lines around Palestinian population centers at the time the Agreement was signed; all areas surrounding Areas A and B were defined as Area C.^.

Area A comprises approximately 18% of the West Bank and Area B about 22%, together home to some 2.8 million Palestinians. 

As of 2015, Area C is home to 150,000 Palestinians in 532 residential areas.

 It is also home to 389,250 Israelis, in 135 settlements, as well as 100 outposts unrecognized by the Israeli government. Area C forms a contiguous territory, administered via the Judea and Samaria Area administration. 

In contrast, under the Oslo Accords Areas A and B were subdivided into 165 separate units of land that have no territorial contiguity.

Area C was initially around 72–74% (first phase, 1995) of the West Bank. Under the 1998 Wye River Memorandum, Israel would further withdraw from some additional 13% from Area C to Area B, which officially reduced Area C to circa 61% of the West Bank. Israel, however, withdrew from only 2% and during Operation Defensive Shield, it reoccupied all territory. As of 2013, Area C formally comprised about 63% of the West Bank, including settlements, outposts and declared "state land". Including or excluding East Jerusalem, no-man's land and the Palestinian part of the Dead Sea also determines the percentage. Area C constitutes about 61 percent of the West Bank territory. Jewish population in Area C is administered by Judea and Samaria Area administration, whereas Palestinian population is directly administered by Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories and indirectly by the Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah.^{[citation needed]} The Palestinian Authority is responsible for medical and educational services to Palestinians in Area C, however infrastructure construction is done by Israel.  Area C, excluding East Jerusalem, is home to 385,900 Israeli settlers and approximately 300,000 Palestinians.^[4]

"The Israeli Civil Administration was established by the government of Israel in 1981, in order to carry out practical bureaucratic functions within the territories occupied by Israel since 1967. While formally separate, it was subordinate to the Israeli military and the Shin Bet.

The Civil Administration is a part of a larger entity known as Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), which is a unit in the Defense Ministry of Israel. Its functions have largely been taken over by the Palestinian National Authority in 1994, however it still continues a limited operation to manage Palestinian population in the Area C of the West Bank and coordination with the Palestinian government." In my humble opinion, there is no way that a Palestine is either warranted or could be a viable state.  From 70 years of constant attacks on Israel with absolute venomous hatred, Palestinians would not be willing to become serious peaceful neighbors.  They already have a state in Jordan as it is.

Besides that, after compiling this article, I see that their state is not of one piece, or even 2 pieces within Israel, and that is ridiculous enough.  It's like having a bee hive in one's living room and having to constantly be stung.  No, They have areas within Israel, like the Chinese neighborhoods of California or Oregon, or the Amish of Ohio, the Pashtos of Pakistan and Afghanistan.  Hamas and Fatah cannot work together and don't always agree, and that's their own Palestinian people-such as they were never really a people but from all the neighboring states anyway!  The difference is that these neighborhoods are frightening, warlike, and their goal in life is to destroy Israel.

A town or city has responsibilities and a government.  The Palestinians never have paid for their electricity.  They're always in arrears to Israel.  Instead, they spend their money on attaining weapons to use on Israel, and tunnels to sneak in and attack by.  No way would I want people with such goals in life for a neighbor.  I wouldn't with this on my enemy!  How can anyone expect this to happen to any country?  The USA can't clean up Chicago and their bad reputation let alone expect the Palestinians to suddenly turn on the charm and be the leading proponents for a peaceful life. Or, how about the Mexican-American line that needs a wall to be built?  They aren't shooting rockets at your hospital!  That happens to Israel from Gaza.  Gaza and the West Bank are to be one state-but are 2 places.  No-the whole idea is just plain silly.

President Mitterand back in 1982 proposed the Palestinian state, which is not a solution for peace, as so many think.  It is most likely a recipe for the next war, the most cruel which Israel has ever known.  Israelis left Gaza in the name of peace, and what did they get?  Nothing but rockets, missiles and mortars instead hitting their southern land.

1. On 22 November 1974, France voted in favour of recognizing the PLO at the United Nations as an observer, reaffirming the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. 
2. In 1982, François Mitterrand was the first French President to express the goal of creating a Palestinian State before the Knesset.
3.  In 2010, France raised the status of the General Delegation of Palestine in France, which became the Mission of Palestine and is led by an ambassador. 
4. In November 2012, it voted in favour of the status of non-member observer State for Palestine at the United Nations. 
5.  In September 2015 for the erection of the Palestinian flag at the UN.  Well, now they're getting a taste of what it is like to have so many Arab refugees in France.  How do they like it?  

France is made up of 248,573 square miles.   or 210,026 sq miles as of 2013.

YET, HERE IS WHAT FRANCE ADVOCATED FOR:
                                                                             

Borders based on the 1967 Lines, with agreed equivalent land swaps.  This is what Obama pushed for with Netanyahu having to explain why this is not logical at all for Israel's own safety;
It was not an easy war for Israel.
Egypt had 90,000 men and 900 tanks in the Sinai, and then they demanded the UN Emergency Force to withdraw, stopping to be the barrier between Egypt and Israel.   Led by Egypt, the Arab States formed a war pact against Israel.  Jordan, Iraq and Syrian armies on border.  Israel waited 3 weeks from May 15 for international action to stop the escalation.  On June 5th, war broke out.

   In this Six Day War, Israel destroyed the armies massed along the frontiers, threatening vital centers of life.  Cease fire lines were then established along the Suez Canal, Jordan River and Golan Heights.  The Straits of Tiran, closed by Egypt, were opened. Jerusalem was re-united!  
 Still, France wanted the following to happen: 

• Security arrangements preserving the sovereignty of the Palestinian State and guaranteeing the security of Israel;
• A fair, equitable and negotiated solution to the refugee problem;
• An arrangement making Jerusalem the capital of both States.

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was awarded this illegitimacy by being fabricated in 1922 by the British colonial power who perfidiously betrayed their mandate from  the League of Nations.  They took away from  the Jewish Nation  77% of its territory.  The League of Nations voted in 1922 unanimously to set up a national home for the Jews in the land of Israel.  They set aside an area of 45,560 square miles for this purpose on both banks of the river Jordan.  Today we know that the West Bank, which in reality is the original home of Israel, which we Jews call Judea and Samaria.  Judea was the southern part of Israel up to the time of King Solomon.  When he died, the southern part became independent by the tribe of Judah, and maintained Jerusalem as their capital.  The tribe of Judah are the only tribe to survive the major attack of Babylon in 597 BCE and again in 586 BCE by Nebuchadnezzar who led Jewish captives away to Babylon.

The mandate was in Britain's hands and they went ahead and lopped off 3/4 of the area of the land, 34,745 square miles which was the entire East Bank of the river Jordan.  They then gave it to Emir Abdullah, son of the Sherif of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  In this huge chunk of land lived 300,000 Beduin Arabs which he also inherited.

The Jewish people were left with only 10,891 square miles on the West Bank of the river.  What had happened to their future National Home!  They were left with one quarter of it.  At the same time, the British reduced the number of Jewish immigrants needing to come in, and instead allowed Arabs and any non-Arab Moslems from all parts of the Middle East to enter.

 They came, being attracted to this land of Falastin's (Palestine) prosperity that occurred because of Jewish settlement.    Their surnames told where they came from:  Today, they say they are "Palestinians."

 Britain was awarded this mandate because in 1917 they came up with the idea of the establishment of a national home in the famous document known as the Balfour Declaration.  The USA Congress endorsed the League's decision on September 21, 1922 in both its Houses and in identical terms.  By doing this, they were also committed to this project which was signed by President Warren Gamliel Harding, making the USA to have its own Balfour Declaration.

Now we know that Jordan took the Judea and Samaria (West Bank) in 1948 when after the UN accepted Israel as a state since the 30 year mandate had finally ended, Israel was attacked by all its neighbors in a War.  It wasn't until Jordan, among many others had attacked again in 1967 and Israel again won the war!  In doing so, they gained back this West Bank of the Jordan River's land that was in the original documents of become the Jewish National Home.  Britain's lie has been that they parted with the land in the name of "peace."  In reality, the peace involved was no more than a ceasefire between one war and the next, between one terrorist outrage and the next."

Jews who were born in the Middle East now make up the majority of the population of the state of Israel.  Some of those born in Israel, called Sabras, are direct descendants of the original Jewish population of the region, which never abandoned the Middle East, and lived here without a break for over 4,000 years.  They have lived in the Middle East longer than any other population group.  They lived here 25 centuries before Islam was created by Mohammad in  about 600 CE, and 20 centuries before Christianity was created.  It was their ancestors who lived here and fashioned a culture here, from which 2 world religions later sprung. 

They built up this state along with their brothers who came home to the land of Israel from Europe and countries of the West where they had been waiting since 70 CE to return.  The League of Nations had set aside 45,560 square miles called Palestine for this purpose on both banks of the river Jordan.  Obama offered only 8,000 to be Israel when Britain had left 10,424,758 square miles for the Jews.  

Clashes continued along the borders.  Arab terrorist organization, the fidayun, attacked and were supported by their Arab governments, made forays into Israel, engaging in acts of terrorism and sabotage.

One can see that a rose by any other name is still a rose.  Fatah is not as peaceful as they try to make out that they are, and Hamas, who controls all of Gaza now, in the name of peace, is more belligerent than Fatah!  They intend to put an end to Israel as their charter states.  Fatah has teemed up with them to create some sort of government that continues to receive funding from the other Arab states and other leftist organizations.  They have brought nothing but havoc onto Israel since the beginning, and have been used as pawns by the other Arabs to be this way.  They have brain-washed their children so badly against Israel that it will now take that whole generation to die out before it's possible to expect them to live in peace with anyone.  Their children are already a destroyed people, just like ISIS children have been brought up.

All the Arab League countries together have 485 times more territory than Israel including what was "occupied" in 1967.  They have 1.3 times more territory than the entire continent of Europe, and 1.5 times more than the USA.   USA Secretary of State James Baker called Israel's 10,891 sq mi "Greater Israel".  The countries of the Arab League have 5,290,888 sq miles.  It looks like the continued story of David and Goliath, and we're not ever mentioning Iran who is also in the picture arming these people who have attacked Israel.
                                                                         

The world needs to be reminded that the area of the Jewish National Home was GRANTED to the Jewish people by universal law.  Not only that, but it was GRANTED  first through Moses by G-d.  It's the very same land the League of Nations allocated in a decision whose legal validity still stands.  Now nations have reneged by saying that Israel should hand over the territory of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) to Palestinians for another state. Jews are also living in Judea and Samaria, but if it becomes "Palestine," they will be forced out as "Palestine" is to be without any Jews.  Now Jews have been forced out of many countries including England from 1290 to 1655 because they didn't want Jews living in their land.  They were forced out of Spain in 1492, but this land of Judea and Samaria belongs to Israel!  Israel was created as the Jewish National Home for this very reason!

Palestine would be number 22 in the Arab League, and to this group, 1 Jewish state is 1 too many.  The Arabs would control 5,290,888 sq mi, and Israel would control 8,000 sq mi.  We have international terror coming from Iraq  who had 31,234,000 people , Libya  with their 6,173,579 and Syria with 22,505,000, all in 2011, though Syria certainly has had a stream of refugees leaving their country.  All this, though the UN only today gets concerned if Israel builds in their land gained by blood and sweat defending themselves in 1967's war.

This piece being left to the Jews is a mere 1/26th of the size of the state of TEXAS!  7.7 million people are living here now.   Texas, as of 2014, had a population of 26.96 million.

If it comes to this, to have your enemy live right next door to you, I feel they should earn this right.  Let THEM show this by living in peace for the next 30 years without starting any terrorist activities or intefadas or war on Israel.  Let them PROVE they can be good neighbors and not join up with ISIS in any way. Let them prove it by dissolving Hamas and tearing up their charter.  What's Israel expected to deal with; 2 entities of "Palestinian" Arabs?

 So far, Egypt has been doing this, and since 1973's Yom Kippur War was over, so has Jordan.  But my gosh, doing hand over all the rights the UN has given them or Mitterand or Obama or the Pope or any organization who have fallen for these sheiks of Araby.  It's giving into the bullies of the world and only acts to egg them onto taking more and more.  AND that includes shutting up about kicking out Jews from Judea and Samaria.  Israel has 1.7 million Arabs in their population.  If Israel has done this, why can't the Arabs following Fatah allow these Jews to stay?

Palestine.  It was the Greeks who coined the term Palestina defining the coastal strip where the Philistines had once lived.  The Romans occupied Judea and used therm after burning Jerusalem and slaughtering much of the population.  They later, in 132, fought against a Jewish general who took it back and held Jerusalem for 3 years by the name of Bar Kochba, but the general was finally killed in 135.  In anger, they renamed the land as they generally did with places won, and named it for the Jews' former enemy.  There was no Palestine nation, or a Jordan nation, either, only the river Jordan.  By the 1st World War, the land had belonged to the Ottoman Empire for the past 400 years, and it was but a province of Syria.

Creating a Palestine, the UN will be sanctioning a state that was named for an Asian Minor and Greek pagan people-the Philistines, who died out 30 centuries ago leaving no heritage whatsoever.  They will be siding against Israel, a nation born of a rich monotheistic culture, who has been there for 4,000 years.

Now the USA has to make a choice pretty soon as to who they will have as the next president.  How much more will they turn against Israel or will the president be one who will stand with Israel?  Each, Hillary and Donald say they will support Israel.  Actions speak much louder than words.  So does past history.  Will Americans study this issue or do they just pick
favorites like a sports team?
