Pardon Me, But Security Council's Prejudice Is Showing Again !

Somaliland in the north is small and differs from Somalia on the east coast

The U.N. Security Council held an emergency session over Israel's recognition of Somaliland. [Yup, this is real!] 

What Israel and many others know:  Somaliland separated from Somalia due to the oppressive rule of dictator Siad Barre, who targeted the Isaaq clan (the dominant group in Somaliland) with mass killings and destruction, leading to a war for independence that culminated in Somaliland declaring sovereignty in 1991 after Barre's overthrow. 

While Somalia descended into chaos, Somaliland established its own stable, democratic government, functioning as a de facto independent state despite lacking international recognition, viewing itself as a distinct entity with a historical claim to separate statehood from the former Italian Somaliland it united with in 1960.

The US deputy ambassador to the United Nations,  Tammy Bruce,  sharply criticized members of the UN Security Council, accusing them of applying “double standards” toward Israel.

 She said, “Israel has the right to recognize the independence of Somaliland,” and compared it to European countries recognizing "Palestine".                                

The Europeans evidently know nothing of our history, never reading about it at all.  They, being part of the Roman Empire, didn't know that the Romans named the land, Palestine after Israel's most terrible enemy, the Philistines.   Get it?  Palestine---Philistine.  They did this in order to wipe out the Jewish names.  We Jews come from Judea, originally Judah.  It was one of 12 sections of land doled out by Joshua after Moses died and was buried outside of Eretz Yisrael.  They were the children of Jacob, who had 12 sons.  

Ooh, map people jumped the gun already calling Gaza (Israel's gift to the Arabs) which meant Israeli government forced Jewish residents to leave and move out, even leaving their businesses for the Arabs to take over---all just because they wanted peace with the Arabs).  Then look at what the Arabs make out of Judea and Samaria! WEST BANK.   Jordanians called it the West Bank, and so now all Gentiles call is as such.  This is the hot-spot, the original land Jews, once called Israelites, lived.  It's the home of Kings Saul, David and Solomon.  The Tanach (Old Testament) holds the story that took place there.

The "Palestinians" people who were squatters in the land after Jews were taken over by the Romans in 70 CE, started infiltrating the land.  Samuel Langhorne Clemens, author of Tom Sawyer, didn't see many at all when he journeyed there in the 1880s.  He saw some Bedouins, though, going through on camels.
