Here - Everything is on the table. They are great debators, discussing the pro and con of every situation---without shouting or anger! It's refreshing.
"As Iranian security forces gun down protesters in the streets—death tolls now estimated between 12,000 and 20,000—the question addresses the most consequential moral failure of our time, one that directly threatens both Iranian freedom fighters and the Jewish people." Andrew Getraer This is an opinion started and posted by jns.
Schrader is a journalist, pro-Israel activist, Jewish and Zionist, and campaigner against antisemitism. She has been a Jerusalem Post columnist and a commentator on Middle Eastern affairs. She was digital director of the pro-Israel lobbying organization, StandWithUs. She is a mentor for the Karsh Journalism Fellowship, a journalism fellowship founded by activist Jacki Karsh and her husband Jeff with a stated goal of helping Israel win an "information war"
Schrader and Yoseph Haddad, an Arab-Israeli journalist, were engaged in May 2021. They first met through their pro-Israel advocacy, and have delayed their wedding multiple times, including due to the October 7 attacks. She's on The Quad as Co-Hold with Fleur, and they are both terrific andexuberant about defending Israel.
Fleur Hassan-Nahoum"Iran restricts internet access as regime moves to conceal widening atrocities." with Fleur Hassan-Nahoum. A video on jns TV Through sharp analysis, diverse perspectives and unapologetic commentary, “The Quad” confronts the complex political, cultural and social challenges facing Israel and the Jewish people. I watch the Quad every chance I get to get a good perspective on things.
Update: 1/22/26 Ruthie Blum and Mark Regev, former Ambassador, who were advisors at the Prime Minister's office do their dissecting and duke out the issues that Israel grapples with. Ruthie Blum, a former adviser at the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is an award-winning columnist and a senior contributing editor at JNS. Co-host with Ambassador Mark Regev of the JNS-TV podcast “Israel Undiplomatic,” she writes on Israeli politics and U.S.-Israel relations. Originally from New York, she moved to Israel in 1977, 3 years before I did. She is a regular guest on national and international media outlets, including Fox, Sky News, i24News, Scripps, ILTV, WION and Newsmax.
Mark Regev, born in 1960 is an Australian-Israeli diplomat, government advisor and civil servant. Between June 2020 and April 2021, he served as the Prime Minister's Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs and International Communications. From 2016 to 2020 Regev was Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom. Regev was born Mark Freiberg in Melbourne, where he was raised, in Victoria, Australia, in 1960 to Martin and Freda Freiberg, two German Jews. He was educated at Mount Scopus Memorial College, a Jewish day school in Melbourne. He received his bachelor's degree in political science and history at the University of Melbourne, and master's degrees in political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and in management from Boston University.
They usually take opposite positions, and it's an interesting debate between the two. What interested me this time is that Ruthie is highly skeptical of Jolani and brought out that he is slaughtering people in Syria today. I haven't heard from my Syrian friend for a few days, and hope he's not one of them. Mark seems to trust Turkey's Erdogen more than she or I, saying that the Muslim Brotherhood isn't as bad as the othersl. Oy vey!
