Vivek Ramaswamy Hypnotizing the Republican Voters

 Nadene Goldfoot

Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republicans newest bid to the presidency, is a former biotech executive that's only 38 years old,  getting a lot of attention after the first Republican Debate Wednesday night.  A lot of time was spent debating against Nikki Haley, another child of Indian immigrants  who defended Israel against his outlandish statements.

He must think that the American public can't add 2 plus 2 and get 4, because he's getting nowhere with his figuring that he can say anything nice, even if it doesn't add up,  and get away with it.

The best defender of Israel we have in the USA right now is Nikki Haley.  She's even had all the practice in the world at the UN.  She's the one who studied and learned about the situation.  No one handed her a crutch with a few facts on  it.  She understands.

He wants to stop funding Israel.  Yet he's trying to convince us that he is a friend of Israel.  Israel doesn't need friends to drink tea with.  She needs money as a show of friendship, because she's surrounded by the most dangerous neighborhood in the world and needs the money for security to produce national security for her population, a population who's on the endangered list, by the way, or should be.  A lot of the money invested in helping Israel goes right back to the USA, and it's not a wasted investment.

Vivek comes from a background where he was raised as a Hindu but attended a Catholic High School. He's never learned about the Middle East, evidently.  He was born in Ohio and raised in the USA, though, even attended Yale.  He's a multimillionaire with plenty of friends, I bet.   In 2023 the business magazine Forbes estimated Ramaswamy's wealth at $630 million.  You have to be at least 35 to run for President and he just made it at 38, but that doesn't give him much time to study our history and democracy when his profession is not within these areas. He's running for a job not in his area of expertise.

"Ramaswamy has been a fierce defender of Trump while seeking to appeal to Christian evangelicals, an important part of the Republican primary electorate. Although a Hindu, Ramaswamy has been telling voters that the U.S. is based on "Christian values" and "Judeo-Christian values" and has described himself as an American nationalist."

He's playing all sides to get votes, and is planning on getting the Trump voters this way.  He also used a line right out of Obama's election running days and that was mentioned by the commentator. What did Ramaswamy say during the debate? These were Ramaswamy's words. "First let me just address the question that is on everybody's minds at home tonight. Who the heck is this skinny guy with funny last name and what the heck is doing in the middle of this debate stage," he said.

We don't know what values he has when he tells us he likes it all.  Trump did that, too, and many of us saw through it when he refused to condemn certain groups but found excuses for them.  They meant votes to Trump and he wasn't about to lose a one.  That was before he used the phone in trying to talk himself into receiving only....more votes that he needed from the person on the other end.

Haley lashed out at Ramaswamy over his recent suggestion that he would cut American aid to Israel if elected. It was the longest conversation about Jewish issues all evening, and brought increased visibility to a topic that, after decades of being a political third rail, has come under discussion on both sides of the aisle.

Ramswamy defended his position while asserting that he considered Israel a “friend.”

“He wants to go and stop funding Israel,” Haley, a former governor of South Carolina, said about Ramaswamy, referring to the rising political neophyte’s promise to cut aid to the country after the current funding deal, which gives Israel $3.8 billion annually, expires in 2028.

In response, Ramaswamy sought to clarify his stance on Israel without backing down from his position.

“Our relationship with Israel will never be stronger than by the end of my first term,” he said. “But it’s not a client relationship, it is a friendship. And you know what friends do? Friends help each other stand on their own two feet.”  So, according to Ramaswamy, you don't help financially when you're the most powerful country in the world.  He and we have a different definition of country to country friendship.

Ramaswamy went on to reiterate his previous pledge to “lead Abraham Accords 2.0,” referring to the 2020 normalization agreements between Israel and several Arab states, by getting other Middle Eastern countries to establish relations with Israel. He added that he would “make sure Iran never is nuclear-armed.”  Empty promises, that he can't fulfill and has no idea of how to do it in the first place.  I think Israel has heard many empty promises before.  The one thing that Trump did fulfill that many previous presidents also promised and didn't come through was getting the embassy of the USA in Jerusalem -moving it from Tel Aviv.  We can thank Jerad Kushner, his son in law, for that.

He also readily rattled off a list of things he said “I love” about Israel, including “their border policies,” “their tough on crime policies,” their “national identity” and “an Iron Dome to protect their homeland” — the latter of which, a missile defense system, is partially funded by US military aid. Yet with all this admiration for Israel, he's not budging from his stand of no money for Israel, cutting much needed ties in our relationship.

But Haley shot back. “He wants to stop funding Israel. You don’t do that to your friends,” she retorted. “It’s not that Israel needs America. America needs Israel.” The daughter of Indian immigrants and the former governor of South Carolina, Haley served as UN ambassador for the first two years of Trump's term, often spearheading the president's foreign policy decisions, including the embassy move to Jerusalem in violation of international law as the UN defined it.

The exchange may have helped both candidates stand out. It was a familiar position for the former ambassador to take. Haley, who is trailing Ramaswamy in the polls, built a close relationship with Israel (and with the American pro-Israel establishment), and was known for her vocal defense of the country at the United Nations.   Haley was the ambassador to Israel from the USA and defended Israel against all the others who bashed her unashamedly.  She put them in their place with real facts.  She knows the history inside and out.  She did a better job that any previous ambassadors.  Nimarata Nikki Haley (née Randhawa; born January 20, 1972) is an American politician and former diplomat who served as the 116th governor of South Carolina, elected in 2010 and again in 2014, and as the 29th United States ambassador to the United Nations for two years, from January 2017 through December 2018.

Ramaswamy, by comparison, is an untested quantity in the Israel debate, and his stance on aid differs from the mainstream Republican position, which supports military funding for Israel. Yet during the debate he bragged about his multiple visits to the country, and he has strong ties with a Jewish society at Yale University.

Shmully Hecht is the Rabbinical Advisor of Shabtai; the Jewish society at Yale University. In 1997, Hecht co-founded Shabtai, which encourages its membership to become true Jewish leaders, both within their communities as well as in the business world. Hecht is published regularly by the Washington Post, New York Daily News, Yale Daily News, First Things and others.

The society’s co-founder, Rabbi Shmully Hecht, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that Ramaswamy “is the most pro-Israel candidate running for president of the United States.” Rabbi, how can you think this when Ramaswamy simply will not be truthful  and encompasses all the reasons others admire Israel when he openly states he wouldn't add any shekels to their financial aid.  He's two-faced and feels he doesn't even have to fool anyone about it.  He says something nice, then stabs Israel in the back.  Vivek is clever, knowing how to take in a young rabbi.

At least Haley, who's heard it all at the UN, saw through his disguise of being a friend.

Other Republicans on the stage declined to weigh in on Haley and Ramaswamy’s dispute, though several of them have built up their pro-Israel bonafides and one, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, sported a dual US-Israel flag pin on his lapel.

Another serious item he doesn't understand is Ukraine.  He opposes NATO membership for Ukraine and has said Kiev should make concessions to Russia to end the war, including allowing it to retain parts of Ukraine it already occupies.  Ukraine has enough to worry about let alone a meshugana possiblitiy of a new president who knows nothing.

It should be more than just being a millionaire as reason to get votes.  It should be intelligence in the field of politics and history. Our country is not a tech company and cannot be run the same way.  Showing a profit is but one skill needed-not the only one.  That's what he seems to be intending to do, cutting everything we spend money on world-ly to help keep world peace.  With an emperor like that, usually the coins find their way to the emperor's  pockets. Oh yes, I noticed all the things he lists as things he will do...no mention of the 3 parts of our Democracy.

Nikki Haley, Best UN Ambassador We've Ever Had, Presidential Potential

 Nadene Goldfoot

Nikki Haley, original name Nimrata Nikki Randhawa, (born January 20, 1972, Bamberg, South Carolina, U.S.), American politician who served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (2017–18) in the administration of U.S. Pres. Donald Trump. She was the first woman to serve as governor of South Carolina (2011–17).

13 Times Nikki Haley Stood Up for Israel at the UN (And AIPAC)

No one may be more upset at U.S. ambassador's resignation than Israel, as these feisty quotes backing the Jewish state show,

Nikki Haley, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, forcefully defended Israel in the violence at Gaza, potentially widening a rift between the U.S. and allies.

The U.N.'s Middle East envoy said there was no justifying the killings of more than 50 Palestinians by Israeli fire at the Gaza border, and several Security Council members called for an independent investigation, but the council had no unified message Tuesday as the U.S. said Israel had acted with "restraint."

Haley placed all blame for the conflict with Hamas, after more than 50 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire at the Gaza border, following the U.S. Embassy move to Jerusalem that was celebrated Monday. Haley laid blame for Monday's violence on the Hamas extremists who rule Gaza and insisted it had nothing to do with the opening the embassy, a move that infuriated Palestinians.

"I ask my colleagues here in the Security Council, who among us would accept this type of activity on your border? No one would." Haley said. "No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has. In fact, the records of several countries here today suggest they would be much less restrained."

Randhawa’s parents were Indian immigrants who owned a small foreign goods store that evolved into a hugely successful clothing and gift venture. She began working there while still a teenager, and, after studying accounting at Clemson University (B.S., 1994), she continued at the family business. In 1996 she married Michael Haley, who later served in the National Guard and was deployed during the Afghanistan War.

In 2004 Nikki won a seat in the state House of Representatives, campaigning on a traditional Republican platform that included tax cuts, immigration controls, and abortion restrictions. She took office the following year and was reelected in 2008.

In 2010 Haley ran for governor of South Carolina, earning the backing of the Tea Party movement, notably Sarah Palin. It was a bitter campaign—with Haley being subjected to racial slurs and accusations of infidelity—but she defeated more experienced candidates in the primary and went on to win the general election. When she took office in 2011, she made history as the first woman and the first person of an ethnic minority to hold the governorship. During her first term South Carolina’s economy grew steadily as the jobless rate fell. Haley easily won reelection in 2014.

In 2015 Haley attracted national attention after Dylann Roof, a white man, opened fire during a Bible study meeting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, killing nine African Americans. Roof later claimed that he had hoped to start a race war, and in the ensuing weeks pressure mounted to remove the Confederate flag—perceived by some as a symbol of racism—from the State Capitol. Although she had earlier dismissed calls to remove it, in the wake of the tragedy Haley successfully led an effort to have the flag taken down.

In 2016 her position among Republicans continued to rise as she was selected to give the party’s response to U.S. Pres. Barack Obama’s State of the Union address. During that year’s presidential election, Haley endorsed U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and was critical of eventual Republican winner Trump, notably condemning his call for a ban on Muslims. In November 2016, however, President-elect Trump selected her to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Despite having limited foreign-policy experience, she was easily confirmed by the Senate in January 2017 with a vote of 96 to 4. Immediately thereafter she resigned as governor of South Carolina.

As UN ambassador, Haley developed a reputation for being outspoken, especially concerning Iran and North Korea, both of which were pursuing nuclear programs.

I notice that this reference made no mention of Nikki's great work in defending Israel at the UN.  We've never had a spokesman do such a fantastic job if you ask me.  While U.S. ambassadors to the United Nations invariably offered their backing to Israel at the UN, Nikki Haley seemingly made the Israeli cause a personal obsession.

My opinion of Tom Nides, our present Ambassador to the UN, is that he is the complete opposite of Nikki Haley in knowledge and understanding of Israel's position. He's going along with Biden's take on the subject who follows Obama so much.  The surprise is that she is not Jewish, and Tom is.  That doesn't matter in looking at facts about Israel, and thank goodness Nikki knew what she was defending and had an admiration for Israel, obviously.  She wasn't putting up any sham.

In 2018 she supported Trump’s decision to withdraw from the nuclear deal (2015) with Iran, though the other signatories (China, France, Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom) signaled that they were committed to the agreement. Haley also stated that the United States would “never accept a nuclear North Korea” and that North Korea’s regime would be “utterly destroyed” in the event of a war.

Haley, who had told Trump that she planned to speak her own mind, also occasionally contradicted the president and others in his administration. She notably was highly critical of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, calling it “warfare.” In October 2018 Haley announced that she was resigning as UN ambassador, and she left office in December.   Those people like me were very disappointed that this happened and hoped she was not ill.

Who is Nikki Haley's husband Michael?

Ohio native Michael Haley is a commissioned officer in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

He served as the First Gentleman of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017.

In January 2012, Haley was shipped out for a year-long tour of duty in Afghanistan, as a captain in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

Nikki Haley: Would She Run for President 2024? – Long rumored to be considering a 2024 run, former United States Ambassador Nikki Haley this week distanced herself from former President Donald Trump and firmly sided with former Vice President Mike Pence on the matter of election fraud.

“Mike Pence is a good man. He’s an honest man, I think he did what he thought was right on that day,” Haley told Fox News’s Bret Baier on Monday.

Her comments came after the former vice president, who is also rumored to be considering a 2024 run, said that the former president was wrong about his role in the certification of presidential electors.

“President Trump is wrong. I had no right to overturn the election,” Pence told the audience at a Federalist Society event hosted in Florida."  People of both parties agree with this.  Legally, he could not overturn the election.

"“He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”

Nikki explained how she has not spoken to Trump since the attack on the US Capitol on January 6.

“When I tell you I’m angry, it’s an understatement,” Nikki said. adding her disappointment at Trump for condemning his own vice president, Mike Pence."

Nikki has an extremely sensitive understanding of what is right and what is wrong.  She showed it by her strong defense of Israel at the UN, not relenting or being swayed by other people.  She had bothered to study well the situation, more than other people possessed.  She shows it again in her disappointment in Trump.  Because of her honesty, she'll lose votes if she runs from his followers.  We've lost the best UN defender of Israel through this matter.

Adam D. Kinzinger is currently serving his sixth term in the United States House of Representatives and proudly represents Illinois’ Sixteenth Congressional District, which stretches across 14 counties in Northern Illinois.

Liz Chaney from Wyoming:  Elizabeth Lynne Cheney is an American attorney and politician who has been the U.S. representative for Wyoming's at-large congressional district since 2017. She chaired the House Republican Conference, the third-highest position in the House Republican leadership, from 2019 to 2021

Nikki should run and run with people like her;  Liz Chaney for one, and Adam Kinzinger for the other.  They would make a great team in my opinion; Republicans yes, and courageous enough to speak their minds and see errors of judgement and not go along with them.

Biden's Special Interest in Iran

Nadene Goldfoot
Joe Biden, born November 20, 1942-47th Vice President of USA, selected by Obama, served with him since 2009, now thinking of running for President.  He'll be 73 in a month.

September 11, 2001 and New York's tallest building was hit by a jet plane that flew right into it. "8:46:30:[10] American Airlines Flight 11 crashes at roughly 466 mph (790 km/h or 219m/s or 425 knots) into the north face of the North Tower (1 WTC) of the World Trade Center, between floors 93 and 99.  2,996 people altogether were killed that day.  We came to believe it was Saddam Hussein who caused it to happen even though the plane was flown by Saudi Arabians.

After this happened, Joe Biden wanted to give Iran a grant of $200,000,000.  He's been a great supporter of Iran.
" An October 2001 article in the New Republic  "At the Tuesday-morning meeting with committee staffers, Biden launches into a stream-of-consciousness monologue about what his committee should be doing, before he finally admits the obvious: 'I'm groping here.'
Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we're not bent on its destruction. 'Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran,' Biden declares.
An Iranian delegation was in Moscow that very day to discuss a $300-million arms deal with Vladimir Putin that the United States has strongly condemned." The article ends with a killer line: "But Joe Biden is barely listening anymore. He's already moved on to something else.

Joe is thinking about running for president being Hillary Clinton is faltering in the polls.  He's beloved, but has already run unsuccessfully 2 times before and must give this special thought.  He would have to understand a lot more about the Middle East than what he displayed after 9/11.  First of all, Iranians are not Arabs.   The country cannot afford a president who gropes with main concerns.  He has admitted that he's pretty down due to his son's death and knows that this position will take a lot of energy."

"He supported the appropriations to pay for the occupation in Iraq, but argued repeatedly that the war should be internationalized, that more soldiers were needed, and that the Bush administration should "level with the American people" about the cost and length of the conflict.  Yet he was ready to give Iran a lot of money for what reason?"
Right after 9/11, Salam Al-Marayati, founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), met with Biden at" the White House  and had his picture taken with him which he used to his advantage.
He indicated that it was Israel who caused the 9/11 attacks.  This same man  participated in a CVE Summit, a three-day forum focused on countering radical extremism which started on Tuesday.  It  came in the wake of multiple anti-Semitic attacks across the globe and pressure for an increased military campaign against the Islamic State (IS) terror group.  "Al-Marayati also caused controversy in 2012, when he was selected by the Obama administration to represent the United States government at a human rights conference sponsored by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The fact is that Biden has had ties to Pro Iran groups.  "Kaveh Mohseni, a spokesman for the Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran, calls Biden "a great friend of the mullahs." He notes that Bidens election campaigns "have been financed by Islamic charities of the Iranian regime based in California and by the Silicon Iran network," a loosely-knit group of wealthy Iranian-American businessmen and women seeking to end the U.S. trade embargo on Iran. "In exchange, the senator does his best to aid the mullahs," Mohseni argues. Biden's ties to pro-Tehran lobbying groups are no secret.

There are 2 types of people residing in Iran today.  Some are Shi'a followers of the Ayatollah and Ahmadinejad who are deathly against the survival of Israel and there are just people who would like to embrace Democracy and cut out the need to attack other countries, and especially not Israel.  After all, there are still Jews living in Iran and have been since the Babylonian attack on Judah in 597 and 586 BCE when they kidnapped many Jews and they wound up in Persia.

Today's government, who has kept Kerry at the table for the past 2 years giving away the baby with the bathtub and calling it a good deal, the best to expect, wants to destroy Israel.   That would make them the king of the mountain  in the Sunni's eyes and they would have to bow to them from then on as they would have atomic power.   Ending sanctions was not the thing to do right away.  Our government doesn't vote on the Iran deal until September 17th.  They may do the right thing and turn it down.

Of course, being a Democrat, he's all for the Iran deal.  ""I was extremely skeptical about whether or not we could ever get them [Iran] to the table and ever move them in a direction where there would be an agreement that made sense for us, for Israel and for the world. ... I've been the guy who's most skeptical in the outfit," Biden said. "I am strongly supportive of this agreement. Standing on its own legs, it's a good agreement."  I'm afraid this is the thinking of many Democrats who obviously don't know how to barter for a better deal.  It has also been way to long a time to get such a deal, as bad as it is.  Iran has had 2 years of doing what they wanted to accomplish and have a deal that allows them to keep their military sites  of Parchin off limits to inspectors.  Besides that immense mistake, the USA is allowing the Iranians to do their own inspecting on certain sites.  That's letting the fox inspect the chicken coop.

Evidently a lot of Iranian-American money has gone into Biden's position to get him where he is today, and a lot more could go to his coffers to run for president to help beat the Republican nominee.  In April Joe talked to a Jewish group and told them that the Iran deal wasn't a great bargain.  He was shoring up the US-Israel ties.  In July of this year  it was published that Biden spent nearly an hour trying to convince top Jewish leaders to support the nuclear accord and promised them that if Iran ever violates the deal, the United States is still prepared to carry out a military strike against the Islamic Republic’s nuclear sites.  Biden was called Tehran Joe Biden.   Now He's talking to them again in Florida and will give them the great Biden pitch that it's a great deal, just like a politician.

Update: 8/16/2020
Now that Biden has selected Kamala Harris for his running mate, she has come out and said she would not support Trump's stand on Iran but would go back to Obama's views on it.

Hillary's Desire to Create Palestine

Nadene Goldfoot

Hillary Clinton has announced her presidential opinions and is now running for president.  "Clinton is an ardent supporter of a two-state solution as the ultimate resolution to the ongoing conflict  for the past 66 years between Israel and the Palestinians. She has stated that it is a “personal commitment of mine” to create an independent Palestinian state.

Arafat, PLO Chairman, Fatah leader till death
Hillary, if you can do that, you are a wizard.  Many people have tried and tried since 1947.  That's when the Arabs rejected the UN partition plan, which would have created a Palestinian state.  It was Arafat who said NO.  For the past 67 years, there are always been something that keeps them from complying and wiling to create their own state.  Jews lost Judea and Samaria, in other words, Judea with their capital, Jerusalem, in 70 CE to the Romans.  So they've had to wait almost 2,000 years to regain their homeland again.

These Palestinians came from all the surrounding nations looking for work with the Jews who were building  in the 1880s.  It's not like there was ever a nation of Palestine.  There was the land of Palestine, or as the Romans called it, Palaestina that had been taken over by the Ottoman Empire who had it for the past 400 years.  It's just that things were so bad in their own country that they came and found work and stayed and now there are many Palestinians who have been used by the leaders of the neighborhood who don't want Jews there.  Hillary, do you play chess?  It's like a big chess game, and the Palestinians have been expendable pawns of the leaders.

I have the 1992 copy of Myths and Facts. The FIRST INTIFADA lasted from 1987 to 1992, something the PLO initiated. They attack because they say they want their state but when it comes down to the brass tacks, they refuse the offer.   The Intifada became violent and 27 Israelis were killed and more than 1,400 civilians and 1,700 IDF soldiers were injured.  Almost half (1,000) of the Palestinian casualties were caused by other Palestinians in the Intrafada or internal fighting among the many Palestinian factions.  The Persian Gulf War took place in 1991.  Hussein had attempted to draw Israel into the war and fired 39 Scud missiles into Israel.  Israel did not retaliate because they didn't want to disrupt the US led coalition.

At that time, President George Herbert Walker Bush (1989-1993) opposed the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.  The position of the USA had been that a Palestinian state was not the answer.  In all likelihood, such a state would become a radical nation dominated by the PLO or Islamic extremists such as Hamas.  Such prophetic words.  Look at what happened in Gaza.  The PLO had become Fatah terrorists and then a political faction and were kicked out of Gaza by Hamas terrorists who took that section over.

He used Iraq as an example feeling that the strong support for Iraq shown by residents of the territories during the Gulf War was but one recent example of the sort of radicalism that would likely envelop such a country.

He saw danger in that a Palestinian state could serve as a forward base in a future war for Arab nations that have refused to make peace with Israel.  After all, other terrorist groups had sprouted from Hamas, such as the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Hezbollah (Party of God) and al Qaeda have developed from other radicals.

Left in Israeli hands, Judea and Samaria (West Bank) , which are the original nation of Israel  and its southern end that became Judah, represent a tremendous defensive asset whose possession by Israel deters Arab forces from even considering attack along an "Eastern Front."  This comes from a report by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies notes.  Who could come from the east?  Such a nation as Iran who is promising  to destroy Israel.

In 1992, an Arab coalition attacking from east of the Jordan would face very difficult fighting conditions because it would be fighting uphill from the lowest point on the face of the earth:  The Dead Sea and the Rift Valley runs below it.  The mountain ranges in Judea and Samaria constitute ISRAEL'S MAIN LINE OF DEFENSE AGAINST ARAB ARMIES FROM THE EAST.

Fajr 5 missiles with 50 mile range (75 km)  from Iran: " Iran has reportedly deployed an arsenal of high-powered artillery rockets and missiles to Iraq in an effort to help that country’s military and Shiite militias in an ongoing campaign against ISIS."

Now Russia is supplying Iran with 300 missiles that can go farther than shown above.  As John Kerry is dealing with Iran and their developing  nuclear capabilities, they will be able to add this to the missiles headed for Israel.  I suppose the mountains in the east could slow down an invading army, but not missiles, necessarily.  "Iran thinks that Russia will deliver the missile system this year, Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, told the Interfax news agency in Moscow on Tuesday." It's the S-300 surface to Air missiles.

Netanyahu is not interested in a Palestine right now.  It's like a dead issue in Israel.  Who wants to have insurgent terrorists led by Hamas terrorists and suicide bombers be neighbors and have access to the lives of your population? Isn't it enough that they are digging tunnels to reach Israel and kidnap people or kill them?   When both Fatah and Hamas decide to accept Israel as a qualified state in their midst; when they change their doctrine of destroying Israel and killing Jews, and when they love their children more than they hate Israelis, then there will be something to build  on.  Otherwise, I wouldn't make it my talking point to run for president.  These are the same points that Netanyahu has for Iran that have not been reached.

You all gasped and sputtered when Netanyahu mentioned not working on a Palestine right now.  He's concerned about Iran.  You should be, too.  You gasp and yell a lot when Israel is talking about building or even in the process and land won by them from the 1967 Six Day War that according to their international lawyers is theirs to use.  As long as the Arabs cannot come to any agreement or acceptance of Israel, they have my permission to go right ahead and build on their own land. It was theirs anyway in the first promises from Great Britain, the nation that held the 30 year mandate.  Tough luck for the Palestinians.  If they wanted a nation so bad, they're going to have to accept Israel as their neighbor.  Egypt and Jordan seem to have accepted them.  What's the reasoning for their holdout?

Having a nation of terrorists next door is something unacceptable to peace-loving people. They have to change.   Do you remember the massacre at Munich during the Summer Olympics?  That's when  eleven Israeli Olympic team members  were taken hostage and eventually killed, along with a German police officer, by the Palestinian group Black September.  They had been gunned down in cold blood and killed.

Ali Hassan Salameh was the main architect of the massacre in 1972 and was only in his 30s.  He was educated in Germany and learned his military training  in Cairo and Moscow.  He was the secretary chief of Fatah.  Mossad finally got him.

Many terrorists were involved in this massacre, one of thousands that Israel has endured.  How about Kamal Nasser, an intellectual, who was the public-relations chief for Al Fatah, member of the PLO Executive Committee, and by 1972 was the official spokesman for the PLO.  Unlike others in his group, he made no secret of his connections with terrorism.  He was also one of the terrorists of the Munich massacre.  He was a member of Jordan's parliament in 1956 as a Palestinian Christian.

Dr. Basil al-Kubaisi was a purchaser of weapons for Dr.George  Habash's Popular Front, founded in 1967.  He was a law professor and a terrorist, involved in the Munich massacre of the11 Jewish Israeli athletes.  His group refused to recognize Israel.    They were involved in plane hijackings, shootings, bombings and suicide attacks.

People see the word, terrorists, but really don't understand the reality that Israelis do about what it means.  This is what the Palestinians must change before they can ever be welcomed neighbors.  What I see is a generation that can exist without being active terrorists who want to live peacefully and accept Israel's existence.  Israel will know when this time will be, and so will the Palestinians. Perhaps Israelis are thinking of some alternative other than Statehood right now that will lead to peace.
