LASHES FOR BEING A NON-BELIEVER IN SYRIA

                                  My reporter 's father, a Mason, former buyer of  dairy cattle for Syrians, now deceased; more modern like Americans is my feeling 

My Syrian Reporter has been going through hell.  He was picked up a 2nd time by the police and placed in jail for:  not political reasons but religious reasons !!!  He was not in agreement with them in some respect.  I urged him to write about it.  He told me he was given 10 lashes  and fined $60,000.  The lashes were so bad he had to go to the hospital.  He was in shock that they would do such a medieval thing!  LASHES!    This is all coming from the Jolani government experience today.  Jolani, the old terrorist name and easier for me to type, is Trump's best choice today Trump thinks as far as Syria goes.                                                     

                    My reporter, college graduate, engineer, and most        stubborn in arguments !  Wow!  We're having fun.... 

My reporter thinks that the man on the street is quite different from Jolani.  He feels he can no longer live in Syria under these circumstances.  How many times more can he survive their jail experience?  Not many, so he's leaving but will be able to keep in touch with me.
