It may be a race against time. Jews are not about to lose the chance to live in their Ancestral Land. As of February 2026, the Israeli security cabinet has approved significant measures to tighten control over Area C in Judea and Samaria (West Bank), including the legalization of several illegal outposts, massive settlement expansion, and new land registration processes that bypass previous restrictions.
These actions are designed to normalize life for Israeli settlers and strengthen Israel's grip on the territory.
and our calendars go from BCE to CE/AD.
Area C was set apart when the whole area was divided
in A,B, and C. A
was for Arabs, B for a mix, and C for the Jews. The
Arabs have been
moving into C land as squatters. They are breaking the
rules.
Now, these new rules will cover some of this without
causing a war.
- Impact on Palestinians: These moves threaten to displace Palestinians, however, accelerate the demolition of illegal Palestinian structures (which Regavim reported increased by 80% in 2022), and restrict Palestinian development in the 60% of the West Bank under full Israeli control. This admits that Arabs have been living in 40% of Judea and Samaria today and have been infringing on land for Jews only.
- "The division of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) into Areas A, B, and C was established by the Oslo II Accord, officially known as the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, signed in September 1995. This agreement, which followed the initial 1993 Oslo I Accord, divided the territory into three administrative zones.
- Area A (approx. 18%): Full Palestinian Authority (PA) civil and security control.
- Area B (approx. 22%): Palestinian civil control and joint Israeli-Palestinian security control.
- Area C (approx. 60%+): Full Israeli civil and security control.
- British Promise of a Jewish Homeland, get only 10% of that original promise.
- "The British promise of a Jewish homeland was made by Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour on November 2, 1917, in a letter to Lord Walter Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community. Known as the Balfour Declaration, this public pledge supported a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine."of the leader of what was later called Saudi Arabia. Seemingly, the left hand didn't know what the right hand had promised.
- attitude towards Jews spread. They were 2nd class, looked down upon... Even in Arab countries, this prevailed at different times.
These divisions of ABC were intended as a five-year interim measure to facilitate a transition to Palestinian self-governance.each other. Israel will be 78 years old on May 14, 2026. They have had their calm years and their bad years. I remember when Iran was fighting against Iraq. That was quiet time for me as I was in Israel from 1980-end of 85. "The Iran-Iraq War lasted from September 1980 to August 1988. Beginning with Iraq's invasion of western Iran on September 22, 1980, the eight-year conflict was characterized by trench warfare, chemical weapon usage, and significant civilian casualties, ending in a stalemate after both nations accepted a UN-brokered ceasefire."
The war lasted so long that each was fighting with teen-aged soldiers asthe older ones had been killed.
Today Israelis have had to fight and defend themselves on 7 fronts with the 8th just added by Netanyahu being anti-Semitism, which is more like 1939 in Europe in many parts. The problem seems to stem from returning back to our ancient home because of the anti-Semitism of our adopted countries.
Why?
It's a long story, but most interesting. Check out the year 324 with the Roman Emperor Constantine.
The Jews are a people with the bee in one's bonnet that there was only ONE G-D in the universe; ONE UNSEEN G-d, A FORCE, if you will. They lived on a planet full of polytheism; the belief in many gods doing all the jobs, and they even had relations with humans when they wanted or needed to. They produced Semi-g-ds. The Jews and their monotheism never wavered. G-d wouldn't let them. For this, they did not win the popularity contest. Oy vey! While others were living on hunting and farming, our Jews were debating each other about religion, developing crafts they could take with them on the run like reading, math, writing, buying, trading, kept out of most all craft circles; etc. . But this is for another day.
