Over the last couple of days, the IDF eliminated 2 senior Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon and struck Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza, killing 26. The Gaza strikes were in response to Hamas violations of the ceasefire. The fight against terror continues.
To all those screaming for ceasefires, pay attention. Terrorists always break the rules of not firing anymore. Hamas are one of the largest terrorist groups.
Hezbollah terrorists: Hezbollah is a Shia Islamist (Muslim religion of Iran-different from Arabs) Lebanese political party and paramilitary group (terrorists) . Hezbollah's paramilitary wing is the Jihad Council, and its political wing is the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc party in the Lebanese Parliament. Its armed strength was assessed to be equivalent to that of a medium-sized army in 2016. A medium-sized army typically consists of 100,000 to 300,000 active-duty personnel. While top-tier militaries like China, India, Russia, and the U.S. exceed 1 million, many functional regional powers fall into this medium range, often supplemented by significant reserve forces. For context, the global average army size is approximately 148,000.
Hamas: A Palestinian Sunni-Islamist group that remains a major actor, particularly following the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel's border towns, and has been severely degraded by Israel but remains active.
Islamic Jihad terrorists: As of 2025-2026, Islamic terrorist organizations continue to operate globally, with significant activity concentrated in the Sahel region of Africa, the Middle East-Gaza, and South Asia. The deadliest groups currently include the Islamic State (IS) and its affiliates, along with Al-Qaeda branches.Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL): Remains the world's deadliest terrorist organization, causing over 1,800 deaths in 2024, with 71% of its activity in Syria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
