The three members of the Dee family were dual Israeli-British nationals who lived in the West Bank settlement of Efrat, just south of Jerusalem, after moving to Israel some eight years ago.
This attack happened last month in April in the northern West Bank and resulted in the death of 48-year-old Lucy Dee, and her two daughters 16-year-old Rina and 20-year-old Maia. They were shot dead while their mother was driving. As a former dual citizen of USA and Israel, I feel great pain thinking of the horror of this.
The Palestinian gunmen opened fire at the victims’ car near the settlement of Hamra in the northern Jordan Valley, as they were heading north on a trip to Tiberias on April 7. The vehicle crashed on the highway’s shoulder, and the terrorists then fired at the car again at close range. The daughters, 20-year-old Maia and 15-year-old Rina were declared dead at the scene, while Lucy, 48, was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but died three days later.

Three Palestinians were killed from Israeli army fire and four were wounded on Thursday morning in the West Bank city of Nablus, for being the killers.
In a joint statement, the Shin Bet security agency, Israel Police, and Israel Defense Forces said troops entered the Nablus Old City in order to arrest Hassan Qatnani and Moaz al-Masri, the Hamas terrorists who allegedly carried out the deadly attack on April 7.
The Dee family, religious Jews from England, must have been elated to have found a home in Efrat. British immigrant Rabbi Leo Dee told Netanyahu that “I don’t regret coming to Israel one moment,” adding that his late wife, Lucy, “would say the same thing.”“Now your wife and daughters will live on through you,” Netanyahu told Dee.

"Let the Israeli flag today send out a message to humanity which is: We will never accept terror as legitimate. We will never blame the murder on the victims. There is no such thing as moral equivalence between terrorist and victim. The terrorist is always bad," he continued.
The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
This town is sitting on the original land of Judea, where Jews lived for thousands of years; only 4 miles from the so-called Green Line. 7.5 miles from Jerusalem. Most of the international community considers Israeli settlements to violate the Fourth Geneva Convention's prohibition on the transfer of an occupying power's civilian population into occupied territory. Israel disputes that the Fourth Geneva Convention applies to the Palestinian territories as they had not been legally held by a sovereign prior to Israel taking control of them. This view has been rejected by the International Court of Justice and the International Committee of the Red Cross. According to Professor Kontorovich, expert in international law, Israel has every right.
Considered the capital of Gush Etzion, it had a population of 11,804 in 2021. Although geographically located within Gush Etzion, it is independent from the Gush Etzion Regional Council, and Palestinians in negotiations do not consider it as part of that block, since it lies to the east of Route 60 — their side of the Geneva Initiative map. Since November 2008, Oded Revivi, an attorney and lieutenant colonel in the army and member of the Likud Central Committee, is the head of Efrat regional council.
Gush Etzion (Hebrew: גּוּשׁ עֶצְיוֹן, lit. Etzion Bloc) is a cluster of Israeli towns located in the Judaean Mountains, directly south of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in the West Bank. The core group includes four Jewish agricultural villages that were founded in 1943–1947, and destroyed by the Arab Legion before the outbreak of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, in the Kfar Etzion massacre. The area was left outside of Israel with the 1949 armistice lines. These settlements were rebuilt after the 1967 Six-Day War, along with new communities that have expanded the area of the Etzion Bloc. As of 2011, Gush Etzion consisted of 22 settlements with a population of 70,000.
Not only does the international community of reporters-, recognize the murderers of the 3 women as terrorists. Israelis were relieved to see that Hamas admitted the killers were members of Hamas, out to do their bidding; kill Israelis. Of course it's easiest for them to pick on women driving in a car.
