Arab Nations Urge Hamas to Stop Fighting While France and England Decide To Back Hamas

 Nadene Goldfoot

File photo - New photo of Jordan Royal Family, from L : Prince Hashem (12), Princess Iman (20), King Abdullah II, Queen Rania, Princess Salma (16) and Crown Prince Hussein (22), posing at Royal Palace, in Aman, Jordan

Looks to me like the Arabs have more sense than Europeans.

  • Arab and Muslim countries: For the first time, countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey joined a declaration condemning the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks and demanding the group disarm and end its rule in Gaza, according to The Times of Israel.
  • If Israel decides, G-d forbid, to appease Hamas, the rest of the world will also be forced to do so in any other conditions they face for the world will know that all you have to do is act like Russia; enter someone's land and fight to the last man, but you are guaranteed to get your way.  Brute force wins.

They never have taken in Palestinians but urged them to live in refugee camps.  They have continued with this refugee status since 1948.  The UN has kept them as such by aiding and abetting them to prefer this position over leaving.  They also helped them during Oct 7, 2023 as well in their 3 year of plotting to attack Israel, confessed some questioned.

Israel has always had to be a defender of their tiny state which has gone from the promise of the Palestinian Homeland by the League of Nations and the UN, to quickly becoming 1/10th of that size.  Our soldiers are the Israel Defense Force, defending their people from other's never-ending attacks.

I just heard England say they expect Israel to stop attacking Hamas in this war, and that is crazy.  It's Hamas who has refused to do so, and they of course started it on October 7, 2023.  Is England's short-term memory that bad?  They must be ready for assisted living. France's reputation of giving into power is well understood;  not surprised with them at all. They have no back-bone.  But England!

Remember, In an attempt to appease Nazi Germany, England, under Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, initially yielded to Adolf Hitler's demands, most notably by signing the Munich Agreement in 1938, allowing Germany to annex the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. However, this policy of appeasement was ultimately unsuccessful in preventing World War II, and Winston Churchill, a strong critic of appeasement, eventually replaced Chamberlain as Prime Minister. Churchill then led Britain through the war, advocating for a more confrontational stance against the Axis powers.  Churchill is no doubt turning over in his grave  with England's appeasing Hamas, when even the Arab countries see that doing so would be wrong.

Numerous Palestinian refugees live in Arab countries, with UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) reporting 5.9 million registered Palestine refugees eligible for their services in its areas of operation: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. However, their legal status and treatment can vary significantly between countries.
What we can take from this is that England would have rather followed  Chamberlain, which France did, and not lose so many of its population.  Go Appeasers!    In England, during World War II, approximately 450,700 people died, including both military and civilian deaths according to The National WWII Museum | New Orleans. This figure includes about 383,600 military deaths and 67,100 civilian deaths, according to UK Parliament. Many civilian deaths were a result of German bombing raids during the Blitz.
"Black September" refers to a military conflict in 1970 between Jordan and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). It is also the name of a Palestinian militant organization that emerged from the conflict. The conflict resulted in the expulsion of the PLO from Jordan and its subsequent relocation to Lebanon.

King Abdullah II of Jordan is married to Queen Rania, who is of Palestinian descent. Her family is originally from Tulkarm and Nablus in Palestine, but she was born and raised in Kuwait. They married in 1993.  Until this happened, Jordan was defending itself.  Black September, also known as the Jordanian Civil War, was an armed conflict between Jordan, led by King Hussein, and the Palestine Liberation Organization, led by chairman Yasser Arafat.
Some Arab countries, notably Jordan, have granted citizenship to a large number of Palestinian refugees. But in others, particularly Lebanon, Human Rights Watch reports that governments have actively resisted the permanent settlement and naturalization of Palestinians, citing concerns about altering the demographic balance or national identity.
These governments often express support for the Palestinian "right of return" to their original homeland, but their policies can be interpreted by some as aiming to prevent permanent integration in the host countries. Palestinians in these countries often face significant obstacles in obtaining citizenship, residency rights, property ownership, and access to the formal job market and social services, leading to precarious living conditions and limited opportunities.
Additionally, some Arab states have had complex and sometimes volatile relationships with Palestinian political movements, leading to periods of conflict and contributing to restrictions on Palestinian refugees.

Facts Our Government May Not Admit About Israel Fighting For Peace

 Nadene Goldfoot

The Arab states occupy 5,414,000 square miles.                          Israel  occupies  8,290 square miles in its pre-1967 borders where Obama wanted them to return to, and a little over 10,000 square miles if one includes all of Judea Samaria.

The 22 members of the Arab League as of 2021 are Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

In fact, Israel occupies less than one-six hundredth  (-1/600) of the land occupied by the 21 Arab states.  Thus, its willingness to cede more than 97% of the land it captured in a war of self-defense is truly remarkable, and all the  wars they are involved in are always in by self-defense.

By the way, there are at least 48 Muslim majority states in the world without a Palestine today.  There is only one (1) Jewish state in the world, which is the mother of Christianity and Islam.  Look how these people have treated their mother! Nothing but anti-Semitism and pogroms or attacks leading to wars.

As for people, Israel's population is only 9.217 million as of 2020, and of that, 20% are Arabs of either Christian or Islam religions.  About 6 million are Jewish.

 Iran had 76,923,300 in 2011.

It's neighbor, Egypt, had 79, 089, 650.

Turkey had 73,722,988.

Iraq had only 31,234,000, and

Syria had 22,505,000.

Jordan could make room for the Palestinians, who they have added a lot already, making 5,568,565.

Lebanon, a small country, like a twin of Syria, had 4,196,453.

Judea and Samaria were renamed by Jordan as West Bank.

The Ministry of Education’s head of public education, Ayoub Alyan, agreed that the lack of schools is a real problem in Ramallah. He blamed it on the city attracting many new residents from other areas of the West Bank controlled by the Palestinian Authority. The ministry has been unable to keep track of the rapid population growth, he said, and the lack of good data on the increase makes finding outside sources of funding to build schools more difficult.  Ramallah is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank that serves as the de facto administrative capital of the State of Palestine, which really hasn't become a state as yet, wanting the whole of Israel, they say.

Linguist and Arabic teacher Anwar Ben-Badis teaching and guiding in Jerusalem's Katamon neighborhood during one of his intensive courses (Courtesy Anwar Ben-Badis)  Even President Reuven Rivlin studied with Ben-Badis, as did Knesset member Benny Begin.  His students are generally Jerusalemites who, as residents of a simultaneously mixed and divided city, brush up against their Arab neighbors at the supermarket, the mall and the movie theater and want to be able to say “excuse me” in Arabic (aläafw), or “I only speak a little Arabic” (anaa ataHaddath faqaT qaliil min aläarabiyya).

There are the Muslim  states that come into Israel's purview every day.  So Israelis not only study Hebrew in school but Arabic as well.  When I say Israelis, I mean those Jewish and Muslim students, some of which are Circassians, students I had while teaching at Safed's junior high. They were great students.

A lot of people have been fed a plate-full of lies and people have gobbled them up, which includes thinking that Israel is the cause of Middle East tensions because of its refusal to make compromises for peace.  Israel is the champion state in the world for making compromises to experience peace with its neighbors, and I'll tell you how.

In 1967, immediately following the Six-Day War that Israel won, Israel offered to return almost all the land it had won in that war which was the most important war of their self-defense in exchange for peace. They hadn't experienced much peace at all.  War broke out before it became a state in 1947 which was part of their War of  Independence that didn't end till the signing of the Armistice Agreements in 1949.  Then we can say they had some peace for 7 years, but that ended in the Sinai War from 29 October until 5 November 1956.  Eleven years of peace passed by,   then the Six-Day War started on the 5 to 11 June 1967. Little peace was experienced as more firing continued with   a War of Attrition from 1968 until the cease-fire on 7-8 August 1970 continued the war. Israel deserved that peace and gave up much for it.

The 67 war was in June.  The Arabs, fuming, went to Khartoum, Africa for a meeting, and came out with the 3 famous Nos', No peace, No recognition, No negotiations.   It's been 74 years of dealing with the Palestinians who want no peace or even a state of their own.  They're great bargainers in the shuk, but not at the peace table.  They want it all, its an all or nothing issue for them.  If they really wanted peace and their own state, they'd grab an offer, like Israel did, but no...When are the other governments  getting wise?  What's in it for them to keep up this charade? Especially Iran?  Whatever their motivation, they hide behind the Syrians whose country they now occupy,  and Palestinians are their excuse for gaining a foothold closer to Israel.

Debunking Lies The Public Swallows About Israel Part III

 Nadene Goldfoot

Lie: 11.  Israel has set the pace of the Middle East arms race.

Truth:  Egypt received the IL-28 bomber from the USSR in 1955;  Israel did not purchase French Sud Vautour tactical bombers until 1958.  Egypt received the MIG-17 fighter in 1957;  Israel an equivalent in 1959.  Egypt had SA-2 surface-to air-missiles in 1960;  Israel got the U.S.-built Hawk, its first American weapon, in 1962.  (Israel received no military grants from the US until 1974.  In comparison, according to AID, US military grants to Arab states totaled $369.3 million from 1946 to 1973).  0:$393.3 Soviet first-line battle tanks, fighter-bombers, and anti-tank missiles have gone to Egypt and Syria before appearing in Warsaw Pact armories:  Israel has rarely received the latest US military equipment up to 1973.

Update: WASHINGTON, May 17 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden's administration approved the potential sale of $735 million in precision-guided weapons to Israel, and congressional sources said on Monday that U.S. lawmakers were not expected to object to the deal despite violence between Israel and Palestinian militants.

Lie: 12. The United States has favored Israel over the Arab states in dispensing economic assistance.

Truth:  According to the May 1974 report of AID in the period 1946-1973, US economic grants to Arab League states totaled $2.48 billion:  economic grants to Israel were $471.3 million.  US economic loans to Arab League states during this same period were $1.56 billion, compared with $2.21 billion for Israel. Israel has paid for most of its economic assistance in cash, and is still repaying loans and credits as of December 1975.

As of September 21, 2021, WASHINGTON, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday removed $1 billion in military funding for Israel from legislation to fund the U.S. government after objections from liberals in the House of Representatives, but party leaders pledged to bring the matter up again later this week.

Lie: 13.  US support for Israel endangers our oil supplies.

Truth:  Since 1973, US dependency on Arab oil has diminished.  In 1973, Arab oil producers supplied over 29% of the nation's imported oil or approximately 5% of the enation's energy requirements.  Statistics for 1974 indicate that because of alternate sources of energy and a drop in demand, Arab oil producers were supplying less than 3% of US imported oil, or only 2% of the total energy requirements.  In addition, since the 1973 embargo, the US stockpile preparedness has grown by approximately 40%.

The international oil cartel includes non-Arab states that are far from the Middle East struggle and are impelled by economic, not political concerns.   More likely, . data from EY’s 2016 Global Fraud Survey shows that, in the oil, gas and mining industry, 43% of employees would engage in fraud to meet financial targets and 35% would engage in fraud to help a business survive a downturn.  Here it is, October 2021 and USA has turned away from coal and oil and checking into wind and solar powers.  Oil is being replaced along with the horse and buggy.

Lie: 14.  Israel is obligated to withdraw to lines existing before 1967.

Truth:  the 1949-1967 lines were armistice lines, NOT BORDERS RECOGNIZDD BY ARAB STATES!  In May 1967, Egypt's President Nasser moved 5 divisions to the Negev border and blocked the Straits of Tiran, Israel's southern waterway-a clear act of war under international law.  In RESPONDING to this act during the 6 DAY WAR, Israel took Sinai, the Golan Heights (where Syria had massed 3 divisions and (from which Syria had bombarded Israeli settlements for 19 YEARS), and the West Bank (from which guerrilla raids were launched after 1949.

Since that time, the Arab states have refused to negotiate directly with Israel, refused to recognize Israel's right to exist, and refused to normalize relations.  Israel has repeatedly stated her willingness to return territories under those conditions.  (3 NOs from Khartoum).

UN Resolution 242 of 1967--and Resolution 338 of 1973, which calls for its immediate implementation--summons all parties to enter into direct negotiations and requires "termination of all claims or states of belligerence and respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of every state in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force....."

Israel has held that she must not surrender land vital to her security UNTIL  there is evidence of meaningful Arab accommodation, compromise, and conciliation, as stipulated by the UN Resolutions.  Israel is not USA's culprit.

TIMELINE of Attacks on Israel by its Arab Neighbors

Nadene Goldfoot
Yizhak Rabin, General and Prime Minister 2 Times from the Left's Labor Party
b: March 1, 1922, Assassinated November 4, 1995
Prime Minister 1974-1977 and 1992-1995
Yizhak Rabin, 1993, said, " We have come from a people...that has not known a single year--not a single month--in which mothers have not wept for their sons."

1920-1921  Arab Riots and terrorism in the early Mandate Period.  Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Palestinian leader, fomented riots against Jews.  In the 1920 riots, 6 Jews were killed and 200 wounded,   In 1921,   43 Jews were killed and 147 wounded.  First fighters, later to be the Haganah, formed by Jews for defense-later to be the IDF (Israel Defense Force).

1929 Massacres instigated again by Haj Amin al-Husseini.  Arab mobs attacked Jews living in Safed, Jaffa and Kfar Darom, the kibbutz near the Gaza Strip.  Hebron, a Jewish community centuries old was destroyed, 67 Jews slaughtered.  Rape, torture, beheadings of babies and mutilation of Jews happened.  British High Commissioner John Chancellor write that it was the worst horror happened in a few hundred years.  135 Jews killed, 350 maimed or wounded.

1936-1939  Great Arab Revolt.  Nazi Germany supported Haj Amin al-Husseini and this led to a 3 year rebellion against the British who held a 30 year mandate from the end of WWI over Palestine.  The revolt of course was also against the Jews (to receive their Jewish Homeland out of Palestine in 30 years) Arabs wanted to end Jewish immigration and land purchases.  415 Jews killed, 200 Brits and 5,000 Arabs in attacks from the Arabs.

1948-1949  Israel's WAR OF INDEPENDENCE  May 14, 1948, British Mandate ended and State of Israel was legally established through UN from League of Nations previous decisions.  Less then 24 hours later Israel was invaded by armies of 5 Arab nations:  EGYPT, SYRIA, TRANSJORDAN, LEBANON AND IRAQ.  The new IDF, just formed, defeated the invasion in 15 months but 6,000 Jews died in the invasion.  That was 1% of the total population.  600,000 Jews were in the new state at the time.

1949-1956  The Fedayeen Raids:  Arab terrorists supported by Egypt constantly attacked Jewish civilians from Lebanon, Gaza and Jordan.  1,300 Jews were killed or wounded in terrorist attacks.  Nasser of Egypt was instigator.

1956  THE SINAI/SUEZ WAR  Egypt increased terrorist attacks, stopped Israeli shipping through the Suez Canal, blockaded Israeli port of Eilat which was violating international law, threatened Israel's economic survival in doing so.  This time France and Britain backed Israel and Israel took the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza.  Israel withdrew 6 months later with Egypt's promised Israel unimpeded navigation and safety.

1959  Al Fatah Raids,  YASSER ARAFAT formed Fatah in 1959 for guerrilla warfare operations against Israel.  He thought repeated attacks would force Israel to become aggressive against Arab states hosting his fighters and would escalate animosity between Israel and her Arab neighbors.  The beginning of PROPAGANDA:  hatred for Israel by the world.

1964:  Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) formed:  Egypt supported PLO backed by Arab League for anti-Israel militant groups.  1968 sees Arafat's Fatah joining the PLO and then took it over.  PLO carried out thousands of attacks against Israelis and other Jews around the world, including the 1st airplane hijackings.  Example:  Jewish home damaged by Syrian regular shelling in the Galilee before 1967.

1967:  THE SIX-DAY WAR.  4 Arab countries and Egypt involved:  SYRIA, EGYPT, JORDAN, IRAQ attacked with terrorists, Egypt again blocked Israel to international waters, Egypt expelled UN peace-keeping forces easily.  Arab countries had over 250,000 troops armed with Soviet-supplied tanks and aircraft on Israel's borders-ready for full scale invasion.  Iraq ordered to strike civilian settlements, turn them into dust and pave the Arab roads with the skulls of Jews.  So Israel then pre-empted them in a war of defense position and captured the West Bank (Judea-Samaria) original Jewish Homeland given away by Britain to Jordan King Abdullah, , Israel took Gaza and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, and the Golan Heights from Syria.

1967-1970:  THE WAR OF ATTRITION,  Nasser of Egypt attacked Israel in the Sinai right after ceasefire, had conflict for 3 years.  1,424 Israeli soldiers died and over 100 Israeli civilians were killed.

1972:  THE MUNICH MASSACRE  Following 1967 war, Israelis  worldwide were being found and killed.  The group, BLACK SEPTEMBER, kidnapped and murdered  11 of Israeli Olympic Team at the Munich Olympics.  Yasser Arafat's Fatah of PLO was the leader.

1973 THE YOM KIPPUR WAR, by Egypt and Syria with a surpise attack on Israel's most holy day of the year when all were in the synagogue fasting and asking forgiveness for sins against G-d and sins against man.  IDF fended off assault, cut off Egyptian forces across the Suez Canal and pushed Syrian troops back from the Golan Heights.  Lives lost were the worst with 2,688 Israeli soldiers killed in 3 weeks of fighting.  Egypt felt they restored their honor as they had success in first 48 hours.

1982-1985  THE LEBANON WAR, and I was there.  I was in a bus riding down the mountain from Safed to the army hospital in Haifa when we saw our trucks going up the hill.  At the hospital I was told they would be too busy to see me and I was to go back to Safed immediately.  What happened was that the PLO was kicked out of Jordan in 1970 and so they had gone into Lebanon and had been attacking Israel from there.  Israel went into Lebanon finally to stop them after our people were trapped in a bomb shelter in Kiriat Shimona .  The PLO moved to Tunis in 1985, and then Israel moved to a security Zone 4 miles wide along the border, staying until 2000.  By 1982, 95,000 people had died in the bitter Lebanese Civil War when Lebanese Christian Phalangists entered Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla and massacred about 460 to 700 fighters including 200 PLO fighters.  No Israeli participated in massacre, not knowing what was taking place as the Christians were our friends.  However, Israeli General Ariel Sharon was responsible according to Israeli court because he did not stop Lebanese Christians' entry into the camps.

1987-1991  FIRST INTIFADA  PLO started attacks after hearing fake news of rumors of Israeli atrocities committed.  Palestinians called it a nonviolent uprising, but it quickly turned into violence with 27 Jews killed and more than 1,400 Israeli civilians and 1,700 Israeli soldiers injured.   Almost half (1,000) of the Palestinian casualties were caused by other Palestinians in the Intifada which was internal fighting between themselves-different factions.

1991  PERSIAN GULF WAR  US led coalition fought to get Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait and Hussein tried to draw Israel into the war and fired 39 Scud missiles into Israel.  Israel did not retaliate so as not to disrupt the US led coalition.

1994  FIRST SUICIDE BOMBING IN ISRAEL  8 civilians were killed in a suicide bombing on a bus in central Israel.  This would be followed by more of the same acts by radical Islamic terrorist factions all over the world.

2000-2006  SECOND "AL AQSA INTIFADA  A campaign of suicide bombings and terrorist attacks began September 29, 2000.  In 5 years more than 1,068 Israelis were killed and over 7,000 injured of which 69% were civilians.  About 3,000 Palestinians were killed in this conflict.

2006-2008  "ACTS OF WAR" against Israel.  Israel citizens and soldiers withdrew from Gaza in 2005 and then Hamas and other terrorists attacked Israel with rockets every day into Israel.  Israeli town of Sderot is 1 mile from Gaza border and was hit by over 360 Qassam rockets in 6 months after Israel's withdrawal.  In June 2006 terrorists from Gaza tunneled into Israel and killed 2 soldiers and kidnapped 1.  2 weeks later, Hezbollah supported by Iran and Syria, attacked Israel across the internationally known border between Israel and Lebanon.  They killed 8 soldiers and kidnapped 2, then launched barrage of rockets against civilian towns in northern Israel.  Israel responded with a military operation of 34 days.

2008-2009  GAZA WAR-OPERATION CAST LEAD   From December 27, 2008 to January 18, 2009, a week week battle in Gaza to end the rocket attack on Israel. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH ALREADY.  ISRAEL HAD TO PUT AN END TO THE ATTACKS.   "The conflict resulted in between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinian and 13 Israeli deaths (4 from friendly fire)" A time where Israel did everything and more to warn Palestinian civilians that they were coming to stop the rockets, but that rockets were in schools, hospitals, and terrorists hid behind civilians, as they found out later.

2010  Large Flotilla and Turkey's  Mari Marmara Incident on May 31, 2010:  The 9th attempt to break the blockade created by Egypt and Israel against terrorists getting through their blockade of sea route to Gaza, as they were bringing in weapons by sea to use on Israel.  Upon boarding the 6th ship, Israeli commandos, there to search for cache of weapons for Gaza,  were fired on and they fired back, killing 9 activists.  9 activists killed, 30 wounded.

2011  Hamas fires barrage of rockets into Israel on March  19, 2011.  Hamas signs agreement with Fatah to unite.  Marriage is short-lived with power fight.  Obama calls for Palestinian state to be formed going by pre-1967 borders only, leaving Israel exposed to terrorism.

Using Iron Dome for Defense

2012  Attack from Gaza by Hamas of 60 rockets into Israel on October 24th. .
OPERATION PILLER OF DEFENSE, going to stop Hamas in Gaza by November 14th.

2014 Rockets from Gaza started June 13th, so bad that by July 8th, Israel had Operation Protective Edge to stop the barrage.

2015-2016  "An increase of violence occurred in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict starting early September 2015 and lasting into the first half of 2016, known as the "Wave of Terror"or "Intifada of the Individuals" by Israelis or the "Knife Intifada" or "Stabbing Intifada" by international media because of the preponderance of stabbing attacks, or "Habba." (an outburst) by Palestinian,."  Stabbings going on Temple Mount and throughout Jerusalem  against Jews,  Cars used to attack walkers, people crossing street by Arabs against Jews.  All this is caused by Hamas and Fatah, known terrorist groups.  Their charter calls for destruction of Israel.

2018  Million Man March of Hamas and Fatah at Gaza Fence during festivities of Israel's 70th anniversary, which also had the US moving their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in same month.  Gazans of 35,000 to 40,000 lined up at fence, told not to touch it or try to break through, though that was their aim.  Gazans used flaming kites that went over and burned fields of crops, trees, land, were violent, held back by IDF. Hamas urged violence, used for vicious propaganda against Israel as attacking innocent (my eye) Gazans.  Had audacity to claim they were held against their will in Gaza.

May 29, 2018:  rocket and mortar attack worse than in 2014 put all of Southern Israel near Gaza in bomb shelters after 8 weeks of fence demonstrations that tried to break through.  At same time, Israeli jets hit ammunition dumps in Syria who have missiles aimed at Israel.  Iran's Hezbollah in Syria with Hamas-against Israel.
