Tulsi Gabbard is currently serving as the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in the United States, a role she assumed on February 12, 2025, after being confirmed by the Senate. The DNI is a cabinet-level position that oversees the nation's 18 intelligence agencies, including organizations within the Department of Defense like the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
The DNI's mission is to lead intelligence integration and forge an intelligence community that delivers the most insightful intelligence possible. All 18 IC agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), report directly to the DNI. Other federal agencies with intelligence capabilities also report to the DNI, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
An SM-65 Atlas, the first US ICBM, first launched in 1957 They've been around for the past 68 years. So Gabbard has had 18 agencies at her fingertips and that's what she has concluded? That Iran is not on the verge of being able to shoot an intercontinental ballistic missile with the warhead of a nuclear bomb to Israel to wipe them out as so often proclaimed? By the way, An Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) is a long-range missile designed to deliver nuclear or conventional warheads, typically with a range of at least 5,500 kilometers (3,400 miles). They are a key component of nuclear deterrence strategies for several nations.

It was tested from 1998 to 2003 and added to the military arsenal on 7 July 2003, with an official unveiling by Ayatollah Khamenei on July 20. It has an estimated accuracy of about 2,500m CEP. According to the IAEA, Iran in the early 2000s may have explored various fuzing, arming and firing systems to make the Shahab-3 more capable of reliably delivering a nuclear warhead. An Iranian ballistic missileShe has told President Trump that there is no sign that Iran ismaking a nuclear bomb. He told the interviewer that Tulsi isWRONG! This time, Trump is right. What's wrong with her?
In putting his trust in Gabbard, he has brought doubt to Israel's information from Mossad, Israel's most famous organizationfor obtaining secret information. Perhaps that is why he iswaiting for two weeks to decide on the bombing of Fordow withthe USA's special bombs for deep hitting.
President-elect Donald Trump had tapped former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard to be the next director of national intelligence, a powerful position that sits atop the nation’s spy agencies and acts as the president’s top intelligence adviser.
Gabbard is a veteran who served for more than two decades but doesn’t have the typical intelligence experience of past officeholders. She left the Democratic Party in 2022 and endorsed Trump earlier this year, becoming popular among his supporters.
Her early support for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 Democratic presidential primary run made her a popular figure in progressive politics nationally. Her father, Mike Gabbard, is a state senator who was first elected as a Republican but who switched parties to become a Democrat.
Trump contested intelligence assessments relayed earlier this year on June 20th by his spy chief that Tehran was not building a nuclear weapon when he spoke with reporters at an airport in Morristown, New Jersey.
Israel has targeted uranium enrichment facilities like Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, as well as research and development sites. These strikes have caused damage to the above-ground infrastructure and electrical systems at Natanz, and other facilities have also sustained damage.

The secretive, heavily guarded complex built close to the holy city of Qom has been fueling speculation about its true nature and size since it was first made public in 2009.
A chunk of what we do know about it comes from a trove of Iranian documents stolen years ago by Israeli intelligence.
The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations popularly known as Mossad is the national intelligence agency of the State of Israel. It is one of the main entities in the Israeli Intelligence Community, along with Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security). Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection, covert operations, and counter-terrorism. Its director answers directly and only to the prime minister.
How did Gabbard get her information?
The organizational structure of the Mossad is officially classified. Mossad is organized into divisions, led by a director who is equivalent to a major general in the Israel Defense Forces.
- Tzomet: Mossad's largest division, staffed with case officers called katsas tasked with conducting espionage overseas and running agents. Employees in Tzomet operate under a variety of covers, including diplomatic and unofficial. The division was led from 2006 to 2011 by Yossi Cohen[ and from 2013 to 2019 by David Barnea, both of whom later served as Mossad directors.
- Caesarea: conducts special operations and houses the Kidon (Hebrew: כידון, "bayonet", "javelin" or a "spear") unit, an elite group of assassins.
- Keshet ("Rainbow"): electronic surveillance, break-ins, and wiretapping
- Human Resources
- A special unit called Metsada allegedly runs "small units of combatants" whose missions include "assassinations and sabotage".
