The IDF, acting on Mossad and Shin Bet intelligence, eliminated a senior Hezbollah terrorist with links to Iran, in an overnight airstrike on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in Beirut’s Dahieh district. Dahieh is a predominantly Shia Muslim suburb in the south of Beirut, in the Baabda District of Lebanon. It has a minority of Sunni Muslims, Christians, and a Palestinian refugee camp with 20,000 inhabitants. This means that the refugees are Hamas terrorists backers of Gaza.
The terrorist, Hassan Ali Mahmoud Bdeir, had "recently operated in cooperation with the Hamas terrorist organization, directed Hamas terrorists, and assisted them in planning and advancing a significant and imminent terror attack against Israeli civilians,” according to a joint statement issued by the security services.
Ynet tells us that Beirut strike foiled joint Hezbollah-Hamas plot to kill hundreds of Israelis overseas, authorities say. The Airstrike targeted top Hezbollah operative planning imminent overseas attack with Hamas that could have killed hundreds; intel gathered by Shin Bet unit focused on dismantling overseas Hamas networks. Israel said they thwarted a major terrorist attack being planned against Israeli targets abroad, in what they described as one of the most serious plots in recent years. A Hezbollah stronghold, Hassan Ali Mahmoud Bdeir, a senior operative in Hezbollah’s Unit 3900 and the Iranian Quds Force, was right there in Dahia. Quds is the Arabic name for Jerusalem !
