2nd Assassination Attempt On Trump

 Nadene Goldfoot

With back to photographer  is an American man, Ryan Wesley Routh,  son of Daniel Routh in Greensboro, North Carolina, who attempted to assassinate former U.S. president Donald Trump, the Republican Party nominee for the 2024 presidential election, on September 15, 2024. Routh's motives are currently under investigation. The update given by the FBI on September 16 mentioned that Routh had not fired his weapon.

Routh also commented on the Israel-Hamas War in December 2023. In a post showing a photo of a "Students map of Palestine" for the study of the Bible, he wrote, "I am unclear what of part of Israel the Jews owned based on this historic map; Judea perhaps? It seems to be historically all Palestinian."  (This shows he has no educational knowledge of the Jewish history.  Oy Vey!)  A Jane commented that the map he referred to was published in 1881, the actual rendering--designed to show places Jesus visited--doesn't mention the word-Palestine at all, the main areas are clearly marked Judea, Samaria, and Galilee.

Routh was born February 18,  1966 in Guilford County, North Carolina. He later attended North Carolina A&T State University for two semesters in 1995  The 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh  was detained Sunday in connection with an apparent assassination attempt on the former president.  Routh is twice divorced and has three adult children. He told a federal magistrate at this arraignment Monday that he earns $3,000 a month as a roofer but owns no assets except for a used truck valued at $1,000.

Greensboro is the third-most populous city in North Carolina, after Charlotte and Raleigh, and the 69th-most populous city in the United States. The population of the Greensboro–High Point metropolitan statistical area was estimated to be 789,842 in 2023. His parents could have been in high school in 1963.   In May and June 1963, the largest civil rights protest in North Carolina history took place in Greensboro. Protesters sought desegregation of public accommodations, and economic and social justice, such as hiring policies based on merit rather than race. They also worked for the overdue integration of public schools. In May 1969, students of James B. Dudley High School were outraged when the administration refused to let a popular candidate, Claude Barnes, run for student union class president, allegedly due to his membership in Youth for the Unity of Black Society. (He was black).  After their appeals to the school were rejected, the students asked activists at North Carolina A&T State University for support in a protest. Protests escalated and after students at A&T had thrown rocks at police, they returned on May 21 armed with tear gas canisters, using them against the crowds. The uprising grew larger, and the governor ordered the National Guard to back up local police.

I am noticing that Ryan Routh's environment, parents and education facilities, were emerged in social behavior and activism.  Ryan may have had Quaker connections to help this along since Quakers were some of early people in North Carolina.  It helps to see how he formed his thinking. Since then, violence has become the norm.  Look what Trump helped along in January 7th with the attack on government property.

In this year of 1966, Ryan's parents were facing election changes.  Republicans were favored in voting.  However, NORTH CAROLINA - 1st District - February 5, 1966, vice Herbert C. Bonner (D), deceased. showed :  Democrats were the favorite winners.  Governors. Republicans won 23 and Democrats 11 of the 35 gubernatorial contests, shifting the party balance from 33–17 in favor of the Democrats to 25–25. Ten Governorships switched from the Democrats to the Republicans: those in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada and New Mexico.

He  protested in Kyiv after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and committed his ideas to paper in a self-published 291-page book in a self-published e-book (Ukraine's Unwinnable War -The Fatal Flaw of Democracy, World Abandonment and the Global Citizen-Taiwan, Afghanistan, North Korea and the end of Humanity) :)

His most recent address is listed in Hawaii, but he spent most of his life in North Carolina, according to property records. Routh owned Camp Box Honolulu, a shed-building company, according to his LinkedIn profile. The account also says that he studied at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and graduated in 1998 when 32.  The suspect lived in North Carolina for most of his life before moving in 2018 to Kaaawa, Hawaii. In 2018, Routh moved from Greensboro, North Carolina, to Kaʻaʻawa, Hawaii.  He and his son operated a company building sheds, according to an archived version of the webpage for the business.

In 1880, the most Routh families were found in the USA. In 1840, there were 6 Routh families living in Ohio, which was about 21% of all the recorded Routh's in the USA. Between 1840 and 1920, the Routh family name was found in the following countries: USA, UK, Canada, and Scotland. The surname Routh is an English habitational name that originated in Routh, East Yorkshire. The name may come from the Old Norse word hrúthr, which means "scurf" or "rough ground".

Routh seems to be walking on "rough ground," as well, not happy with what his environment
is providing him and becoming such an activist to change it all without the needed experience
and skills to do so.  He has made enough wrong decisions in life to warrant the hoosegow as
his final home.

Records show Routh's issues with the law go back to the 1990s when in his 20's, and include lesser charges of writing bad checks. But in 2002 he was charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction, a felony, according to North Carolina Department of Corrections records. In another incident, he was charged with misdemeanors, including a hit-and-run offense, resisting arrest, and a concealed weapons violation, the records show.  In 2003, he was sentenced for driving without a license, carrying a concealed weapon and hit-and-run. In 2010 he was convicted of possessing stolen goods. For each of these charges he was given probation.

Ryan Wesley Routh  camped outside the golf course in West Palm Beach with food and a rifle for nearly 12 hours, according to court documents filed Monday. He is accused of lying in wait for the former president before a Secret Service agent opened fire, thwarting the potential attack.

In an interview with Newsweek Romania in 2022, he said, "My initial goal was to come fight (in Ukraine)… but I'm 56, so initially they were like, I have no military experience, so they were like, you're not an ideal candidate. So they said, not right this minute. So plan B was to come here to Kyiv and promote getting more people here."  A TV news report showed a Ukrainian spokesman explaining that they thought something was mentally wrong with him at the time.

"This is about good versus evil," he told the outlet in a video interview. So he became an activist.  According to posts on his Twitter account in 2020, Routh has expressed shifting political views over the years. In 2016, he supported Donald Trump, but by 2020, he voiced his dissatisfaction, stating, "I will be glad when you are gone."  Routh also supported Bernie Sanders in 2020, criticizing Joe Biden as "sleepy Joe". His political stance evolved further in 2024, where he expressed concern over democracy in a post tagging Biden, and telling him his campaign slogan should be "Keep America Democratic and Free." In 2020, he also supported Tulsi Gabbard, calling for an executive order on police misconduct and he made several small donations to the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue, contributing 19 times in 2019 and 2020 with amounts ranging from $1 to $25, as recorded by the Federal Election Commission.] By early 2024, he suggested a Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy ticket for the Republican primary.  Nikki has been my favorite also, so here he shows me a ray of sanity.  I wonder if our reasons for liking her are the same?  However, Ramaswamy would never be a choice of mine.  Since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack in Israel, Ramaswamy has increasingly generated controversy over his remarks about the U.S.’s role in the conflict, and his suggestion that the U.S. should not provide military aid to Israel until the government clearly outlines its steps after a Gaza invasion.

Despite being a convicted felon, in 2024 he voted in the Democratic primary in Guilford County, North Carolina. Routh had additionally donated $140 to Democratic causes since 2019 and is registered in North Carolina as an independent voter.  This man has managed to keep out of jail but has been a petty criminal for a long long time.  Seems as if more than the FBI is needed to keep assassins from developing somehow, like our laws already on the books to be actually used, or people to follow up potential problematic people and help them if possible to become worthy citizens.  This man was caught just in the nick of time.  What happens now?  He was a firecracker ready to explode.
