Trump's Anti-Semitic People

 Nadene Goldfoot

An Alaska Airlines Jet out of Washington Reagan National Airport to Seattle was carrying about 100 zealous Trump supporters on the day after the well-known insurrection at the Capitol of January 6, 2022.  It was packed with people lucky to have a seat.

On this 5pm flight of January 7, 2022, people were getting pretty loud.  They started talking about how the election was stolen from Trump.  They spoke well of the QAnon group, who the passengers described as   "a bulwark against a cabal of cannibalistic anti-Trump pedophiles who worship Satan and run a global child-sex-trafficking ring".  I've researched them and find they also are made up of many anti-Semites.  G-d help us if we have any Jews in this group!    And then several of these passengers mentioned a code,  "6MWE."

Adam Smith, masked passenger, 24 year congressional veteran from Washington State, had been listening to all this chatter.  He later found out that the code stood for  "6 million weren't enough" a phrase referring to the 6 million Jews exterminated in Nazi concentration camps, causing him to feel horrified.  They had been extreme anti-Semites that he had to share that ride with.

Now I'm horrified to think that there are so many Republicans feeling they have to back Trump and those who are anti-Semites !  This means that almost half of our country feel this way as there's almost a 50-50 representation of these two political parties; Democrats and Republicans.

Remember:  "As a mob of supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol last week clamoring to overturn the result of November’s presidential election, photographs captured a man in the crowd wearing a shirt emblazoned with “Camp Auschwitz,” a reference to the Nazi concentration camp.

Video circulated on social media showed a man harassing an Israeli journalist who was trying to do a live report outside the building.

The presence of anti-Semitic symbols and sentiment at the Capitol riot raised alarms among Jewish Americans and experts who track discrimination and see it as part of an ongoing, disturbing trend. "

"While the hate was widespread, Jewish Americans were subject to specific discrimination evidenced by Nazi Holocaust imagery and rhetoric. In addition, openly anti-semitic groups shouting pejoratives notably stood alongside Pro-Trump Jews carrying Israeli flags."  Note that Trump did pass 3 bills helping Israel where no other president had bothered, though may have made promises to do so.  The anti-Semites don't seems to follow his accomplishments for Israel or that his daughter and son-in-law and those grandchildren are Jews. It's irrelevant to them.

What most people see in Trump was that he beat Hillary Clinton and all she stood for.  Now Trump has really put his foot in it with the January 6th insurrection. People were killed on both sides.   "A bipartisan Senate report found that at least seven people had lost their lives in connection with the Jan. 6 attack."

Trump himself will tell you he's not anti-Semitic, but look at this evidence:  Prior to being elected, Trump suggested to a room full of Jewish people that:

1. They “control” politicians through money. He tweeted an image of Hillary Clinton’s face atop a pile of cash next to the Star of David and the phrase, . “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” And he capped off his campaign by releasing an ad featuring .  Hillary's daughter has married a Jewish man.

2. The faces of powerful Jewish people with an ominous voiceover about them comprising a “global power structure” that has “robbed our working class” and “stripped our country of its wealth.”
