Journalists Moonlighting With Hamas Doesn't Fool Israel

 Nadene Goldfoot

Al Jazeera's Anas al-Sharif, left, and Mohammed Qreiqeh

The report is that Israel hit a tent outside a hospital with 5 Al Jazeera reporters.  Israel had found they were in reality, Hamas terrorists as well.  They were all killed.

Anas Jamal Mahmooud-al-Sharif b: December 3, 1996 in Jabalia refugee camp, Gaza Strip, d: 10 August 2025 age 28, Gaza City, Gaza Strip.

No one is saying he wasn't a real journalist but that he was also using his skills and fact of being on the spot to also side with Hamas and work with them as well.

"Five Al Jazeera journalists were killed by an Israeli strike in Gaza City on Sunday - among them 28-year-old correspondent Anas al-Sharif, who had reported prominently on the war since its outset.  The other four Al Jazeera journalists killed were correspondent Mohammed Qreiqeh, cameramen Ibrahim Zaher and Moamen Aliwa, and crew driver and cameraman Mohammed Noufal, Al Jazeera said.  Two others were also killed, the broadcaster said. Hospital officials named Mohammed al-Khaldi, a local freelance journalist, as one of them".

Reports on August 11, 2025, confirmed that an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City killed four Al Jazeera journalists: Anas al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, and Mohammed Noufal. The Israeli military confirmed it targeted al-Sharif, claiming he was a Hamas operative posing as a journalist. Al Jazeera and press freedom groups denied these allegations and condemned the attack as a targeted assassination and a violation of press freedom.

Jonathan Conricus, a spokesperson for the Israeli military, previously accused Al Jazeera journalists of collaborating with Hamas and publishing propaganda. In July, he posted a video accusing al-Sharif of being a member of Hamas' military wing. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) stated that Israel's pattern of labeling journalists as militants without providing credible evidence raises serious questions about its intent and respect for press freedom.

The Guardian published excerpts from the purported will of Anas Al-Sharif, whom Israel says was a Hamas commander posing as an Al Jazeera journalist, killed in an Israeli airstrike near Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital. The will urged, “Do not forget Gaza” and expressed a wish to “be among the martyrs.”

Shlomi Ziv, hostage Ziv, 42, was one of four hostages rescued on June 8, 2024, in a daring mission carried out by Israel’s Shin Bet, IDF and Border Police’s elite Yamam counterterrorism unit. He was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on October 7, while working as part of the security team at the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im. The audience listened in silence as Ziv described his 246 days in captivity, held alongside fellow hostages Almog Meir Jan and Andrey Kozlov.

Proof of journalists acting with Hamas

Former Israeli hostage Shlomi Ziv, rescued in June’s Operation Arnon, responded to criticism of the strike, writing, “I was held by a journalist in captivity and his father was a doctor!!!!!” Operation Arnon was the Israeli military's name for a successful hostage rescue mission conducted in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on June 8, 2024.

Arnon Zmora, Isael's counter terrorism unit;   The story of a national hero who paid the ultimate sacrifice in ensuring the return of four hostages. Chief Inspector Zmora was part of Yamam, an elite unit in Israel’s Police. He was critically wounded by Hamas fire when commanding the team that rescued three of the four hostages, and later succumbed to his wounds in Israel. On October 7th he led the defense of Yad Mordechai, preventing Hamas terrorists from infiltrating the Kibbutz. After the battle, going on to fight terrorists at Nahal Oz military base and Kibbutz Be’eri. Arnon Zmora leaves behind a wife and two children.

The operation, initially named "Seeds of Summer," was renamed in honor of Chief Inspector Arnon Zmora, an officer in the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit who was killed during the mission. The operation's objective was to recover hostages taken during the 7 October Hamas-led attack on Israel. The Israeli military acknowledged fewer than 100 Palestinian deaths.

Al-Sharif was killed along with four other journalists and two civilians in an Israeli airstrike targeting him and other journalists in a tent outside the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City on 10 August 2025. At the time of his death, 234 journalists had been killed during the Gaza war. Prior to his killing, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) accused Al-Sharif of being a Hamas operative.

Israel was also disappointed to learn that the people who were to help refugees of UNESCO were also people working for Hamas, turning the refugees against against Israel as their work. The Palestine Authority (PA) never had a chance to have any power over Hamas.

The killing reignited debate over ties between Hamas and Gaza-based journalists.

Did their journalism mention that the attack was on all these places and what it caused and brought upon the heads of all involved?

The attacks launched from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, primarily targeted Israeli communities in the Gaza Envelope region of southern Israel, and included rocket fire extending to other areas.
Here are some of the communities and locations that were attacked:

Dr Phil's Interview Of Douglas Murray, Author, Defender of Israel's Defense Actions

 Nadene Goldfoot

Douglas Murray (born 16 July 1979---46 years old) is a British neoconservative political commentator, cultural critic, and journalist. He is currently an associate editor of the conservative British political and cultural magazine The Spectator.   He was born in London to a Scottish father and English mother.  He won scholarships to St Benedict's School, Ealing, and subsequently Eton College, taught briefly at a school near Aberdeen, then took a degree in English at Magdalen College, Oxford.  In 2021, Murray chastised the Biden administration for withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.  He has also criticized Christian churches for breaking away from teaching their traditional beliefs and the Gospels.

No one is more talked about lately than Israel, and as it happens, everyone is against this tiny state even though it is the victim of the aggressive "death cult" terrorists, Hamas.  The people who gave humanity the Old Testament, the Ten Commandments,  Jesus, and the defensive "Iron Dome" are damned by the world today. Murray, as a writer, has joined in with his research and opinions in defending Israel.

Dr. Phil must have read one of Murray's books, about a "Civilization Crisis" though, and "learned a lot" as he said. Or, it must be the book, Democracy and Death Wish: How Israel Became a Mirror of the West's Struggles with Truth, Terror, and Moral Clarity  by Douglas Murray.

I caught this error:  He stated 4,000 attacked Israelis on October 7th on the tape, but the actual numbers were: Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups launched a coordinated attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Based on Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reports, approximately 6,000 Gazans breached the border   I'll add to this fact.  They attacked in 119 locations during the attack. This included: 3,800 from the elite "Nukhba forces, "2,200 civilians and other militants. Additionally, the IDF estimated that 1,000 Gazans fired rockets from the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of participants in the attack on the Hamas side to 7,000. The attack resulted in the deaths of 1,195 people, including Israeli civilians, foreign nationals, and security forces. The attack also involved the taking of approximately 250 Israeli civilians and soldiers as hostages.

Murray's point in this interview was that he exposed the American Media and publicized the errors that they were making in their reports.  They were always blowing up numbers of Hamas killed or the Palestinians that died in Israeli attacks, and then blamed the Israelis when Hamas were actually the ones doing the shooting--yes, shooting their own people.  People listened as if this was the gospel truth!

Murray; commented that there was no evidence of "critical thinking" going on with the audiences listening to the media.  They were so quick to take the side of the aggressor, Hamas terrorists, and why?  It comes down to the fact that it is the media who are aiding and abetting the anti-Semitism that shows up with belief in the accusations of the guilty terrorism happening against Jews today.  They are not thinking, just reading aloud into their mikes what Hamas wrote down.  Are there no checks on data like this?  Evidently not, and that is his beef.

Murray pointed out that the leaders that Israel had managed to kill were billionaires, and that's never been pointed out.  YaYa was a psychopath and had killed a victim with his bare hands.  YaYa had said he was going to tear the heart out of Jews.   He was a sociopath with narcissism added raising a country of sociopaths.

Murray is not Jewish.  But he sees unfairness.  That's what Dr. Phil realized.  What Murray  discovered and wrote about Israel and the War with Hamas was probably even understated, and he was already shocking Dr. Phil.

Here's what Murray  has found out about Israel previously.

Israel and antisemitism

In 2013, Murray condemned journalist Owen Jones for claiming that Israel had killed an 11-month old child in a military strike. Jones responded by criticizing Murray for ignoring a UN report which said an Israel airstrike had killed numerous innocent civilians. In 2014, Murray defended and supported Israel during the 2014 Gaza War. Murray also defended Israel's right to defend itself, saying, "If you don't believe that Israel has the right to stop a group that has proposed repeatedly since its existence that it wants to annihilate Israel, if you believe that Israel doesn't have the right to try and stop this enemy, then of course you don't believe Israel has the right to exist; you believe Israel has the right to die." During a visit to Israel in 2019, Murray praised Israeli society's "attitude towards nationalism", and lauded Israel's approach to border security.

In October 2023, Murray reported from Israel for six months following the October 7 attacks. He visited the kibbutzim that were attacked in the October 7 war and interviewed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Murray has been a supporter of Israel during the ongoing Gaza war.

On 12 October 2023, after the Hamas-led attack on Israel of 7 October, he was invited to present a speech at the Lauderdale Road Synagogue in London which defended Jews and the State of Israel, and which gathered almost one million views online. Murray has been a supporter of Israel's military response to the October 7 attacks by Hamas.

He spent around 6 months in Israel, visiting Gaza twice, and writing in defense of Israel's actions. Murray has criticised anti-Israel protests and rhetoric in Western countries like Britain as being motivated by antisemitism and support for terrorism rather than genuine concern for Palestinians.  He has described some protests as "terrorist marches" and said they are organised by pro-Hamas factions aiming to spread disinformation.

Murray has argued that much of the criticism of Israel stems from either explicit antisemitism, anti-Western ideology, or ignorance about the realities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict being exploited by malicious actors.

In April 2024, he received an honorary award from President of Israel Isaac Herzog and Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli for being a "friend to the Jewish people and fighting the resurgence of antisemitism" due to his coverage of the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel and the resulting war.

On April 10, 2025, Murray appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience alongside Dave Smith to debate the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. During the podcast Smith called Murray's "selective empathy" for the people of Israel and not the people of Gaza. Murray later accused Rogan of allowing people who spread conspiracy theories and misinformation on his platform.

Thank goodness that people like Douglas Murray exist and are being heard,  May he have success in his endeavor to spread the word about Israel being the good guy and not the bad one.  May the media become careful in what they are saying and writing and making sure it's true.

Khan Younis Hospital Hiding Terrorist Weapons and Sinwar Terrorists

 Nadene Goldfoot

The IDF carried out a precision strike on Hamas terrorists inside an underground command center beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis yesterday. TV News from Israel explained that Israel had given warning way before they bombed to the hospital and surrounding area, telling where it was safe to go after leaving the hospital.  They have told the citizens repeatedly before ever bombing.  Israel is not out to kill innocent civilians.

The primary target of the strike was Mohammed Sinwar, head of Hamas’ military wing and brother of its former leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.

Air Force fighter jets dropped approximately 40 bunker-busting bombs, similar to the strike on Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. More strikes in the area were carried out today. Security officials said they were still gathering information to confirm whether Mohammed Sinwar was killed in the strikes.

Each reporter tells about it in a different way.

CNN —

Israel struck a hospital in Gaza early Tuesday, a day after briefly

pausing military activity for the release of Israeli-American Edan Alexander by

 Hamas.

The Israeli military resumed strikes in Gaza about an hour after Alexander left

the territory, hitting the Al Daraj neighborhood in northern Gaza on Monday

evening, before striking the Nasser medical complex in southern Gaza on

Tuesday, according to hospital officials.

The IDF strike targeted the surgical ward on the hospital’s third floor, which is

now “completely out of service,” killing two patients and wounding medical

staff, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) said.

The IDF also struck targets in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, after 3 rockets were fired towards Ashkelon and the border region.

In southern Lebanon, the IDF eliminated a Hezbollah commander in a drone strike on his vehicle.

Al Jazeera:  Israel bombs 2 Gaza hospitals, killing at least 18 Palestinians, Nine Israeli missiles have slammed into and around the courtyard of the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing at least 16 people and wounding 70, the enclave’s Ministry of Health says, in the second deadly bombardment of a medical facility in the city since dawn.   The Civil Defence agency in Gaza said Tuesday its medical teams are recovering more people who were killed or wounded.

His work has also appeared in New York Daily News, Jerusalem Post, Philosophy Now and Literary Hub, among others.  Roy is the author of Is Superman Circumcised? The Complete Jewish History of the World’s Greatest Hero, which received press attention worldwide and is the 2021 winner of the illustrious Diagram Prize for Oddest Book Title in the World.  Roy received his BA in English from the New School University and interdisciplinary MA in English and social thought from NYU. He has taught English and writing at the City University of New York and is a former writer-in-residence fellow at the New York Public Library. Axios: Axios (also written as ΛXIOS) is an American news website. It was started in 2016 by Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen and Roy Schwartz. The three founders were journalists working for Politico.

The Israel Defense Forces targeted the head of Hamas' military wing, Mohammed Sinwar, in an airstrike on a bunker underneath a hospital in Khan Younis, three Israeli officials told Axios.

Why it matters: The death of Sinwar, if confirmed, would mark another huge blow to the Palestinian militant group that launched the Oct. 7 attacks and has been fighting a war against Israel for the last 18 months.

  • Sinwar became the leader of the Hamas military wing after Israel killed his brother Yahya Sinwar and predecessor Mohammed Deif. The three were the masterminds of the Oct. 7 attacks.

What they're saying: The IDF said in a statement that it "conducted a strike on Hamas terrorists in an underground command and control facility under the European hospital in Khan Younis."

  • At least six people were killed and 40 wounded, according to the Ministry of Health in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
  • It's unclear if the hospital was significantly damaged in the strike.

Behind the scenes: An Israeli official said the government received intelligence pointing to Sinwar's presence in the bunker earlier on Tuesday, and that the operation proceeded quickly.

  • The Israeli official said the results of the strike are still unclear and the IDF is checking if other senior Hamas military leaders were in the bunker with Sinwar.
  • The official stressed that there was no intelligence suggesting Sinwar was in the bunker with Israeli hostages. "If there was the slightest risk of hitting hostages, we wouldn't have launched the strike," the official said.
  • Israeli officials said they didn't inform the Trump administration in advance because of the short time between receiving the initial intelligence and the urgent need to conduct the strike.

Former Oregonian Reporter and Why Jews Are Finding Fault With the New York Times

 Nadene Goldfoot

                                  Arthur Gregg Sulzberger, born 1980,
is an American journalist serving as chairman of The New York Times Company and publisher of its flagship newspaper, The New York Times.  A.G. Sulzberger is chairman of The New York Times Company and publisher of The New York Times. With a journalism operation of more than 2,000 people reporting from around the globe, The Times is the most influential and award-winning English-language news organization in the world.  He is of German ancestry.

Why would a New York newspaper, owned by Jews,  the state with the highest population of Jews, cover Jews and Israel with biased and hateful misinformation and half-truths?  Flame has shown us that this is true of the New York Times, a newspaper that requires a fee to read their on-line news articles.  Oftentimes they are giving their readers blatant antisemitic coverage.

(Over 60% of American Jews live in just six states. Slightly over 20% resides in New York State, 14% in California, followed by 12% in Florida; 8% in New Jersey; and 5% each in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania)  Jews make up only 2% of the USA population .

Jews come in all sizes and flavors, so to speak.  We have Jews on the left-many of them, and Jews on the right and Jews in the middle.  The same goes for our religion;  we have orthodox, reform and conservative.  We have men and women, each with their special interests.  So it depends on who is the captain at the New York Times, and that looks like someone on the left.

Arthur Gregg's father, Sulzberger,  was born to a Jewish family on February 5, 1926, in New York City, the son of Arthur Hays Sulzberger and Iphigene Bertha Ochs (daughter of Adolph Ochs, the former publisher and owner of The New York Times and the Chattanooga Times and granddaughter of Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise). He had a sister named Judy, which gave rise to his nickname, "Punch", in reference to the British traditional puppet show, Punch and Judy. Sulzberger graduated from the Loomis Institute and then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps during World War II, serving from 1944 to 1946, in the Pacific Theater. He earned a B.A. degree in English and history in 1951 at Columbia University. As student, he roomed with composer Philip Springer in John Jay Hall. As a member of the Marine Forces Reserve he was recalled to active duty during the Korean War. Following completion of officer training, he saw duty in Korea and then in Washington, D.C., before being inactivated.

AG's father was born February 5, 1926, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr.; died September 29, 2012 at age 86.

His paternal grandfather, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, was Jewish, and the rest of his family is of Christian background. (Episcopalian and Congregationalist).  Through his father, Sulzberger is a grandson of Arthur Ochs "Punch" Sulzberger Sr., great-grandson of Arthur Hays Sulzberger, and great-great-grandson of Adolph Ochs.

This tells me his parents were not observant of Judaism, so chances are that he was not  raised as a Jew.   Also, Jews do no use Jr. in naming babies.  They nameafter a deceased person, not a live one, so the custom goes.

Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise, Arthur Gregg's great grandfather,(29 March 1819, Lomnička – 26 March 1900, Cincinnati) was an American Reform rabbi, editor, and author. At his death he was called "the foremost rabbi in America."

Wise was born on 29 March 1819 in Steingrub in Bohemia (today Lomnička, a part of Plesná in the Czech Republic). The son of Leo Weis, a schoolteacher, he received his early Hebrew education from his father and grandfather, later continuing his Hebrew and secular studies in Prague.  He may have received the hattarat hora'ah from the Prague bet din, composed of Rabbis Rapoport, Samuel Freund, and E. L. Teweles, or from Rabbi Falk Kohn, however there is debate as to whether he was an ordained rabbi at all. It was even a source of controversy with his intellectual rival, Rabbi David Einhorn.  In 1843 he was appointed rabbi at Radneitz (now Radnice near Plzeň), where he remained for about two years. In 1846 Weis emigrated to the United States, arriving on July 23. He changed the spelling of his surname to Wise.

As part of a program to defend Judaism against the inroads of Christianity, while refusing to demonize it, Isaac Mayer Wise offered innovative and influential views of the founding figures of Christianity. He was among the earliest Jewish scholars to reclaim Jesus as a Jew, and, more controversially, to suggest that Paul was in fact the Talmudic figure Acher.

Sulzberger worked as a reporter for The Oregonian newspaper in Portland from 2006 to 2009, writing more than 300 pieces about local government and public life, including a series of investigative exposés on misconduct by Multnomah County Sheriff Bernie Giusto.

On December 14, 2017, it was announced that Sulzberger would take over as publisher on January 1, 2018. He is the sixth member of the Ochs-Sulzberger family to serve in the role.

One sees things differently according to their own personal experiences and interests.  What's amazing is a reporter like Joan Peters, who was not Jewish but wrote a book defending Jews creating Israel called From Time Immemorial.  She had started this writing project by being defensive about the Palestinian Arab rights, but by going to actual original records, like an excellent reporter should, she changed her mind and thus, her position.  In the 1970s and early 1980s, Peters wrote for magazines such as Harper's, Commentary, The New Republic, and The New Leader, was a consultant in the creation of CBS news documentaries in 1973 about the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, and provided commentary on the subject for PBS.  According to the Walker Agency, which booked speaking and touring engagements for her, Peters also served as an adviser to the White House on American foreign policy in the Middle East during the Carter administration, and how much more to the left can you go with Carter?

President James Earl Carter, Jr. (1977-1981) and Arafat

He had his own religious ideas and wound up himself writing a book or books against Israel, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid is a New York Times Best Seller book written by 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter. It was published by Simon & Schuster in November 2006. causing some of us to turn against Democrats, period.  It again referred to Israel as an apartheid state, something that has been refuted time and time again, more the opposite.  I see that lie and I get hysterical!!!  Israel is made up of human beings, different only in that they try very hard to live up to their religious laws of which the first 10 should be a little familiar to the general population, and running a government by apartheid standards is not the way of Israel.  Jews have been the 2nd class citizens of Europe and the Middle East, so they do know how to treat their citizens as 1st class citizens.  The law says to treat others as you would want to be treated.  What's maddening are the people we know that swallow such lies that Carter espoused, and that's where readers have to beware.

Look at what has been happening to Israel the past week or so, with the whole country demonstrating against their new government who is about to revise or improve their supreme court judges and rules to "improve them".  Anybody about to ruin what they have established is going to hear about it; really hear about it.  Israelis are not shy people.

Too many reporters have wound up in the nearest restaurant with a drink or two and hearing about the incident from others around them and use that as their resource.
