PFLP Terrorists Now Bilks Countries For Funds Intended for Palestinians

    "Israel's Shin Bet security agency named three Palestinian HWC staffers who, it said, had with Juana Rishmawi, a fundraiser,  "duped" European donors using financial records doctored to hide cash diversions to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). (1)

They stole millions from European aid donors.  Security service says PFLP counterfeited documents, invented projects to pilfer funds for its military activities; Israel calls on countries to not donate to PFLP-linked groups.(4)

Juana Ruiz Rishmawi, a 62-year-old fundraiser for the Health Work Committees (HWC), a Palestinian aid group, was indicted in an Israeli military court on charges that included activity in a proscribed organization, illicit money transfers and fraud.  Rishmawi is a Spanish resident of the occupied West Bank.  Israel accused him on Thursday of being part of a network of NGOs that it suspects of diverting sums "in the eight figures" from European donations to a Palestinian faction that is on the EU's terrorism blacklist." According to the security service, the PFLP used its health organization, the Health Work Committee, to defraud various Europe organizations and countries of millions of euros over the course of several years.(4)

"The PFLP  (Popular Front For The Liberation Of Palestine) is a terror group founded  in 1967 and led by George Habash from 1971 to 2009 and Ahmad Sadat from 2001 to 2010  in the West Bank, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  They were major players of terrorism in the 1970s and 1980s, but PFLP and related groups were small and considered minor players by 2010.  

This terror group follows Marxist/Leninist ideology and stir up revolutionary nationalism through armed insurrection.  They have refused to recognize Israel and broke with the PLO in 1974 for its "Stages Strategy", meaning the liberating of Palestine in stages rather than in a single war, but later rejoined the PLO.

Their operations in the 1970s imitated showcase, media-oriented attacks such as plane hijackings; shootings, bombings and suicide attacks.  They assassinated Israeli Tourism Minister Rechavan Ze'evi on October 2001, and were responsible for 8 suicide bombings from 2000 to 2005."(2)  

"From its foundation the PFLP sought both superpower and regional patrons, early on developing ties with the People's Republic of China, the Soviet Union and, at various times, with regional powers such as Syria, South Yemen, Libya and Iraq, as well as with left-wing groups around the world, including the PKK, FARC and the Japanese Red Army. 

When that support diminished or stopped, in the late 1980s and 1990s, the PFLP sought new allies and developed contacts with Islamist groups linked to Iran, despite the PFLP's strong adherence to secularism and anti-clericalism. The relationship between the PFLP and the Islamic Republic of Iran has fluctuated – it strengthened as a result of Hamas moving away from Iran due to differing positions on the Syrian Civil War. Iran rewarded the PFLP for its pro-Assad stance with an increase in financial and military assistance." (3)

When A Fraudulent Immigrant to USA Turned Out to Be a PFLP Terrorist Killing Two Israelis

"Rasmea Yousef Odeh in Arabic رسمية يوسف عودة (born 1947/1948; also known as Rasmea Yousef, Rasmieh Steve, and Rasmieh Joseph Steve)^] is a Jordanian and former American citizen of Palestinian origin who was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) , a terrorist group,  convicted with life imprisonment  by Israeli courts for her role in the murder of two students, Leon Kanner and Eddie Joffe in the 1969 Jerusalem Supermarket bombing."
                                         

The deaths and injuries were caused by a bomb placed in a crowded Jerusalem SuperSol supermarket which the two students stopped in at to buy groceries for a field trip. The same bomb wounded 9 others. A second bomb was found at the supermarket, and defused.

Today her picture is being glorified adorning the wall of an Arab restaurant in Oakland, California called the Reems Bakery.  Since when is it right to glorify a killer?  This is what Abbas of Fatah does in Judea-Samaria-known to people outside as the West Bank.  He glorifies murderers of Jews by naming places after them.  You can be sure that the people who shop in this bakery-restaurant know who she is.  It must draw them there.  However, they're not sitting in the West Bank anymore.  This is California-USA.  What do you think about it, California?  ICE, can you imagine what conversations go on in here?

She spent 10 years in prison before she was released in a prisoner exchange with the PFLP in 1980.  She was released in the exchange, " and she immigrated to the United States, became a U.S. citizen, and she served as associate director at the Arab American Action Network in Chicago, Illinois."
                                               

Rasmea was convicted again in 2014, this time in the USA for immigration fraud  by a jury in federal court in Detroit, Michigan, for concealing her arrest, conviction, and imprisonment for the 1969 bombings. On December 11, she was released on bond.  Odeh was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison on March 12, 2015, stripped of her US citizenship, and set for deportation to Jordan after serving her time.  Note:  this is all happening during Obama's last years. 
                                         

"Convicted Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Yousef Odeh, an organizer of a Day Without a Woman, has agreed to leave the country in exchange for no jail time for failing to disclose the conviction on her U.S. visa application."

On August 17, 2017, Odeh was formally stripped of her US citizenship in a federal court hearing in Detroit before Judge Gershwin Drain. She was subsequently ordered to be deported to Jordan and to pay a $1,000 fine for immigration fraud.

On September 20, 2017, Odeh was deported to Jordan.  She has a following, since PFLP is now a defunct group.  It began in 1967 with George Habash and Ahmad Sadat and was found in the West Bank, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  They were Communist revolutionaries believing in armed innsurrection and refused to recognize Israel.  They broke with the PLO of Arafat in 1974 because Arafat planned on his takeover in stages and they want the land right now, then saw it was a little harder to do and returned to the PLO.  They planned plane hijackings, shootings, bombings and suicide attacks against Israel.                 

Bad actors seem to be able to make people think of them as a victim.  This is how she has collected admirers.   Rasmea Odeh is no victim.  She's a terrorist who killed students and injured shoppers.

Rasmea in fact was a military member of the PFLP and so important that famed hijacker Leila Khalid formed the “Rasmea Odeh Brigade” to try to free her, and the Black September 1972 Olympic terrorists included Rasmea on a list of prisoners they wanted released.

“They found bomb-making material in her room at her father’s house. And interestingly, the Israelis didn’t prosecute the father [for the bombing]. They reached the determination that he was unaware of what his daughter had in her bedroom. Now if the Israelis were so unfair, why wouldn’t they have prosecuted the father? If all they wanted to do was prosecute innocent Palestinians, why didn’t they prosecute the father? ….

This whole history of Rasmea portrayed by her supporters was a complete fabrication.”  Now Jordan can have her.

ISIS Taking Palestinian Refugee Camp in Damascus

Syria's President Assad lives in Damascus.  In his backyard, about 5 miles from his home lies Yarmouk Palestine Refugee Camp, which is really a well established town today from what it was in 1957.

During Syria's Civil War that started in 2012, it became a scene of intense fighting between the western backed rebels of Free Syrian Army and their Palestinian ally, Liwa al-Asifa, Palestinians formerly loyal to Syrian President Assad, have defected to the rebels, sources told Lebanese press in 2012.                                                                                           

                                                                         

PFLP Terrorists

They have been   fighting against the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC terrorists) who were supported by the Syrian Army government forces.   The PFLP has been considered as a smaller terrorist group, founded in 1967.   They are located in Judea-Samaria, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon and are not as religious, being more Marxist/Leninist and  are a  revolutionary nationalistic terrorist group that believes in using armed insurrection.  They refuse to recognize Israel as a legitimate state.  They broke off from the PLO in 1974 believing in a different way to liberate Palestine, but later united with them again.  

                                                                             

Al Nusra Terrorists took Yarmouk Palestinian Refugee Camp (city) with others which covers 0.81 sq miles.  It has actually become a city.  

The Syrian Army of Assad had besieged the camp causing many to flee from there.  Conditions have deteriorated for the 18,000 Palestinian refugees and other Syrians inside the camp.  CNN reported that they were subsisting on 400 calories a day where a human needs about 2,000 to be healthy.  ""There is no wood, we are burning furniture and clothes to keep warm. People have burned their bedrooms, chairs, living rooms. We are burning things which are not purely wood, which has caused many health problems." - Ra'eda.

Yarmouk has been  better than Palestinian refugee camps in other parts of Syria before this fighting started.  Cement block homes on narrow streets had sprung up and shops were lining 2 main roads and were filled with service taxis and microbuses that run through the camp.  There are no tents or slums here.  It is a residential area with beauty salons and internet cafes.  Many professionals came here to live, such as doctors, engineers and civil servants, casual laborers and street vendors.  They have 4 hospitals and many government-run secondary schools.  UNRWA opeates 20 elementry schools and 8 preparatory schools in the camp and sponsors 2 women's program centers.  UNRWA also has 3 health care centers here.  Canada donated money for an upgrade in 1996.  The USA gave money in 1997 to upgrade 6 schools.  Australia donated money for a kindergarten.  
                                                                 

ISIS Taking Yarmouk Camp

ISIS terrorists entered the camp on April 1, 2015, which was last Wednesday; 6 days ago.  They came to blows with the Aknaf Beit al-Maqdis and the Free Syrian Army.  Initially, ISIS took over much of the camp but were later pushed back from some of the places before regaining control.  By the next day, ISIS was in control of the Yarmouk camp and was handing out bread to the refugees.  Later reports are that the Palestinian fighters along with local rebels managed to push ISIS terrorists out of Yarmouk. Fighting against ISIS are the Palestinian militiamen opposed to the Syrian government and some Free Syrian Army fighters. 

         Still and all, ISIS is in Damascus. The UN is demanding access to Yarmouk.  

Update: 4/8/15 11:17am  The reason supply trucks cannot enter the camp is that IS is in control and is fighting against Assad's forces.  This is why the Palestinians are hungry.  They had run out of food.   IS has beheaded a few of the soldiers fighting them.  It seems that none of the civilians in Damascus know what is going on in this camp, and the UN, if they gained entrance, would find themselves in the middle of a dangerous battle.

The distance to Safed, Israel, where I lived for 5 years is only 60 miles from Damascus.  Safed is in the northern Galilee.
