How does a town or city prepare for a war happening this year; possibly at any moment? That is the position Israel is in right now. The USA should start thinking about it.
Israeli municipal officials are preparing their cities and towns for the possibility of renewed hostilities with Iran, after the Iranian missile attacks against the UAE yesterday May 4, 2026. President Trump didn't say that the attacks violated the ceasefire, and seems to want to continue it, along with the blockade against Iranian ports, which is choking off Iran's economy.
Of course, this affects Israel the most, being as Iran sees it, as the LITTLE SATAN. The sad truth is that Israel has been the state Iran has wanted to eliminate completely, and would be able to do it with one Atom Bomb, especially since 1967, as I see it.
Israel has bomb shelters for all its citizens, which is a huge step that even the USA hasn't contemplated. Given 30 seconds, one has to get to a bomb shelter in Israel, and at the most may have 15 minutes. One doesn't know. It's hardest on the old people to move into one quickly as they can't run.
It's great that Israel has bomb shelters; sad for the reason why. They've had to prepare their life for this, since 1948.
“Today (2018) , I’m disclosing for the first time that Iran has another secret facility in Tehran, a secret atomic warehouse for storing massive amounts of equipment and material for Iran’s secret nuclear weapons programme,” he told world leaders on the third day of the Assembly’s annual debate.
The site, he said, is three miles from where Israel reported seizing over 100,000 nuclear-related documents and videos stashed in vaults in an “innocent-looking building” in February, and he called on UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Yukiya Amano to “do the right thing - go inspect this atomic warehouse immediately before the Iranians finish clearing it out.”
Benjamin Netanyahu famously held up a diagram of a bomb to illustrate Iran's nuclear progress during his UN General Assembly address on September 27, 2012. He later used the UN podium on September 27, 2018, to reveal what he described as a "secret atomic warehouse" in Tehran. It's been 18 years since his warning, and was fullfilled with the US and Israel bombing this place in 2025. Based on reports from June 2025, the United States and Israel engaged in coordinated military actions targeting Iranian nuclear facilities. The U.S. launched strikes on key nuclear sites—specifically Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—on June 21–22, 2025, using heavy, bunker-buster bombs, following initial Israeli strikes earlier that month during the "[Twelve-Day War]"
On 21 March 2026, Israel and the US bombed Iran’s Nantaz nuclear installation used for enrichment of uranium. In retaliation, Iran attacked the towns of Arad and Dimona with ballistic missiles - the latter is also the home of Israel’s Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Centre. It’s the first time Iranian missiles have penetrated Israeli air defences in an area around a key nuclear facility.Israeli officials said there was no damage to the facility and no abnormal radiation levels reported.
Protection from Atomic warfare?
Protecting yourself from atomic warfare requires rapid action: get inside a substantial building (preferably basement/subway), stay inside for at least 24–48 hours to avoid radioactive fallout, and stay tuned for emergency alerts. Prioritize distance from the blast, shielding with thick materials (concrete, earth), and limiting exposure time.
- Information: A battery-powered or hand-crank radio for Ready.gov updates.
- Sustenance: Non-perishable food and bottled water for at least 72 hours.
- Safety: Flashlights, medical kits, and masks to cover nose/mouth.
- Stay Sheltered: Remain inside for at least 24 hours unless told otherwise by authorities, as radiation levels decrease over time.
- Consumption: Consume only sealed food or items from a refrigerator, not items exposed to the air outside.
