The first terrorists of Palestinian Arabs were the PLO lead by Yasser Arafat.  Terrorists come from a large group of armed Palestinian groups.  Some are connected to the PLO.  Most PA officials such as those above belonged to the PLO or Hamas.  Hamas ( Islamic Resistance Movement) are radical Islamists, while others, such as the PFLP, were secular.  

     

When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Al Qaeda and Hezbollah operatives established cells in Gaza.  They were competitors with Hamas and frequently collaborated.  All these terrorists received financial support and weapons from other Arab states who also offered them safe havens.  Iran, though not made up of Arabs, is a Muslim state.  It gave Hamas and Hezbollah millions of dollars each year. 

                                                                             

  

 Hamas leader, Khaled Maashal, lives in Damascus, Syria across the border.  Hamas and Hezbollah signed an agreement in 2004 to increase attacks on Israel.  He's been the Hamas leader since 2004.  Sheikh Ahmed Yassin had been their first leader in 1987.  

The United States' position still finds favor with Israel, but President Obama with a little over a year left of his position has let his hair down in appointing Robert Malley, defender of Hamas terrorists,  into his administration with the upgraded position as  Special Assistant to the President and White House,  Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region.  Obama seems to be still holding vindictive feelings towards Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel for coming to speak to USA Senators about Iran and their much wanted nuclear power.  


While Obama appoints a Hamas defender and lover, Malley, in a security position, Egypt has put Hamas on their terror list.

Back in 2000, Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered the Palestinians a state again for the umpteenth time, but this time including most all of what Israel gained in the bloody 1967 Six Day War, and they turned it down.  It was an amazing and naive offer at Camp David in the summer, and only a few months later, a wave of terrorism came from them against Israel.  This told some leaders in this tiny state that the Palestinians only desired to destroy Israel and America.  The idea had to have time to sink in as to how anyone really wanting a state would have found some convoluted reason to refuse such an offer.
                                                                             
Obama gave the order for Robert Malley to fill this position, but it was Condoleeza Rice who got to appoint him and is looking forward to working with him so much.  She's a carbon copy of Obama in her attitude towards Israel, but was a  George W. Bush  appointee.  When she was the US National Security Advisor, she visited Israel  in 2003 and THE FENCE, which was a security fence.  She asked Israel to stop building it because it looked like a political border between Arabs and Jews.  She had been lectured to about it by the Palestinians as to what it is stopping them from doing.  PM Mahmoud Abbas claimed that the fence was a way to create "facts on the ground" and it undermined his authority by breaking up Palestinian areas and disturbed their daily life.

That's something the Palestinians should have considered since they had been attacking Israel for over 3 years by many terrorist groups that had sprouted out of the PLO terrorists.  They were competing over who could kill the most Jews.  Israel built this fence to protect their people.  The terrorism of the Arabs caused the fence to be built.  It had taken thousands of attacks and dozens of dead before Israel began to even think about building it, and did so "reluctantly."  The voices from the security community said it would make their job easier to defend their country.  That won over.  Since Susan Rice walked out on Netanyahu when he spoke recently at the UN, I doubt if either Susan or Condoleeza Rice  ever accepted this fact.  Evidently the two women share the same surname but are not related to each other.
                                                                       

3 Jewish boys slaughtered after school by terrorists in summer of 2014.  Kawasme, 40, was convicted last week of leading the terror cell based on his confession of planning and financing the attack, including receiving NIS 200,000 from Hamas in the Gaza Strip, purchasing and providing weapons for the other terrorists, purchasing the abduction car, hiding the bodies and destroying evidence.

What does Robert Malley see in Hamas to admire?  They are Muslim Brotherhood Islamists, meaning that their charter calls for the destruction of Israel.  In their charter it says, "Israel will exist until Islam will obliterate it.  There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad (Holy War.) By appointing Malley, I have to realize that Obama is going along with this concept and also backs Hamas.  
                                                                             

Rocket Attacks on Israel by Hamas

Hamas has been on the US terrorist list.  "A top European Union court ruled in December 2014  that the Palestinian group,  Hamas,  should be removed from the bloc's list of terror organizations. "  The European Union does see many things much differently than Americans do.  Their main goal in life is to keep the euro in competition with the dollar.  Do they exert influence over Obama, too?  Our State Department spokesman,  Jen Psaki, felt they should keep it.  Since France's terrorist attacks at the cartoon business and the deli, perhaps they have decided to keep it.  
                                                                         
Another former USA President, Jimmy Carter, "called on the West to recognize the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas as a legitimate "political actor" that represents the bulk of the Palestinian population.  He's had a mad-on with Israel for many years, now, and has written books against this tiny state of Jews.  He even teamed up with Irish President Mary Robinson in an article in 2014.  She's another one who is against Israel.  
                                                                         

What has Hamas done to take them off the terror list?  They have been the major player in the terrorist war against Israel.  They were involved in 40% of the suicide bombings.  This group rules in Gaza.  They had kicked out Abbas who then went to Judea-Samaria.  Their attacks now come mostly from rocket and mortar attacks.  They are closely tied to Syria, Iran and Lebanon, funded by groups in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Western Europe, Hezbollah and others.  773 terrorist attacks came from them in just in 2003 and 2004.  from 1993 to 2000 they performed 41 suicide bombings, and from 2000 to 2005 they performed 58 suicide bombings.  From September 2000 to April 2004 377 Israelis were killed and 2,076 wee wounded by Hamas.  In 2005 alone, 29 suicide bombers were foiled and arrested .  From 2000 to 2005 40% of all suicide bombers were from Hamas.  "

Since December 2005, Palestinian terrorist attacks have claimed at least another 153 Israeli lives.  Attacks have happened every year.  In 2006 there was a suicide bomber attack at the Tel Aviv bus station.  Also, a suicide bomb exploded on an Israeli bus where 15 people were murdered and many injured in this attack.  

Just last year on On November 17, 2014,  2 Palestinian terrorist cousins  entered a synagogue in Jerusalem and 3 rabbis, a congregant and a policeman were slaughtered in the most gruesome way possible. They used knives, meat cleavers, hatchets and guns on their 5 victims.   Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg (68), Rabbi Moshe Twersky (60), Aryeh Kupinsky (43), Rabbi Kalman Zeev Levine (55), Master Sergant Zidan Sif (30) were in the acts of praying when pounced upon by the killers.  Rabbi Goldberg was my email genealogy associate, who helped me as his family was also connected to a Goldfoot.  These killers "were known associates of the terrorist organization the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine, founded in 1967.

The PFLP  are a splinter group of the PLO, like Hamas and though are a smaller terrorist group, still are in operation in Judea-Samaria, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  They REFUSE to recognize Israel and had broken off from the PLO in 1974 with their own ideas of liberating Palestine in stages rather than in a single war, probably because they saw that Israel won in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973 and etc.  Later they rejoined with the PLO, so the PLO and most likely all the splinter groups connect with Hamas.  

   Quiet was broken at the end of 2010 by increasing mortar shell fire aimed at military and civilian targets and by increasing rocket fire.  In February 2011 a Grad rocket attack took place against Israel from Gaza for the 1st time since Operation Cast Lead (2008) .  Attempted attacks increased.  There was anti-tank fire, sniper attacks on IDF forces near the border fence, both in Israel and inside Gaza.  

Ambassador Prosor spoke to the UN Security Council  on February 13, 2015, about recent Hamas buildup.  He said that Hamas has been working around the clock to rebuild its weapons production and military capabilities. Instead of reconstructing Gaza, Hamas is reconstructing its terror infrastructure. 

To help them out, Obama has put Malley in position. " The very controversial Robert Malley, who has been serving on the National Security Council, was just promoted to the post of Special Assistant to President Obama with responsibility for the Middle East, and as such will be the lead person in the NSC handling US policy towards Israel."

It's pretty hard to recognize Palestine as a state when it is made up of terrorists.  Perhaps this is why Obama wants Malley in position-to help get them off the USA listing of terrorists?
