Barack Hussein Obama taught constitutional law at University of Chicago in their law school before becoming President of the USA. He was a senior lecturer there. He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School. You can't do much better than Harvard, unless it's Yale. So he has no excuse.
"UC Law School statement: The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as "Senior Lecturer." From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School’s Senior Lecturers have high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined."
Then why is he out of shape because John Boehner of Congress has asked Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel to come and speak to them?
"The President does not control Congress, they do not need the President's permission nor do they have to even notify him of the invitation. It may be a bit rude, but Congress is well within their authority to invite someone to speak."
Our country has a separation of power between the President, Congress and the Supreme Court. Each is a check on the other to make sure one does not take more power than the constitution allows.
Obama is angry because Congress did not notify him of the invitation. That's not Netanyahu's fault and it is Congress that has their reasons for not telling him about it.
Netanyahu is not in agreement with Obama in dealing with Iran and how the talks are going .
"Netanyahu has raised alarm bells about nuclear talks between the Obama administration and Iran. In the U.S., the Iran talks are a topic that has pitted President Barack Obama against senior Democrats in the Senate, one of whom accused the administration on Wednesday of using talking points "straight out of Tehran."
Netanyahu is coming to speak on March 1st since he is scheduled to speak to AIPAC on that trip.
Though Netanyahu has never said anything about the two of them not getting along, there have been some events right on TV. The first was when Obama pushed the 1967 cease fire lines causing Netanyahu to give him a quick lecture about why that was impossible to go back to. That may have caused Obama to tell Netanyahu to use the side door of the White House to enter, and then also left him with his companions alone while he excused himself to go and eat dinner with his family. It's these little things that cause one to gasp and know that things are not going well. Even CNN recalled these events today.
Netanyahu doesn't want sanctions on Iran to be pulled off. Nothing is really accomplished yet. Of course their economy is being hurt, but they refuse to listen to our fears and expectations. So what does Obama do when the world group is supposed to deal with this, is to ease sanctions with $20 billion dollars from the USA treasury. What is the P5+1 people there for anyway when Obama is calling all the shots? Obama is also planning on vetoing any sanctions bill if they pass one. He feels it would guarantee admitting a failure in diplomacy. Netanyahu is afraid of Israel being blown to bits by atomic weapons and having 6 million Jews killed again. Far fetched? Not at all.

No congenial talk these days. Obama will not speak to Netanyahu on March 1st when he talks to Congress. |

The world is willing to see Israel disappear.....The powers that think this possible are attempting to achieve this. I am thankful our Congress has not flipped on Israel...Our president has always harbored disdain for Jewish anything!...How Jews support this man is for me, the ninth wonder of the world!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Jeff. Jews support him because most are Democrats, and Obama is a Democrat. They trust in past history of the party, and they should have realized that when he said he was bringing change-usually it's Jews who are affected first in any change in government. Usually in the past it's change has been to be expelled from a country. This time we have our country and like you say, those that pull the strings want to see Israel disappear-told to us back in 1948 to be driven into the sea. Jewish Democrats still are wearing their blinders. They might see the ugly truth if they take them off!
