Lebanese Tiring Of Hezbollah Terrorists But Hague Wants Netanyahu Arrested Anyway

Just at the time when the Lebanese civilians are sick and tired of having Hezbollah in their midst, they are realizing that they are not only incapable of bringing them peace and a better government, that they have brought them just the opposite, and that the Israelis are not bad after all.  In fact, they are hoping that the Israelis wipe the Hezbollah terrorists out!

The court said there is probable cause that Deif is responsible for war crimes and

crimes against humanity, including taking hostages,

rape, and extermination, but he's already been assassinated by the IDF in July.

So what has the ICC (International Criminal Court of the UN)- the Hague,  come up with at this tender time?  They have put out an arrest warrant of Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel and  former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant. They surprise us by including  Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif for war crimes and crimes against humanity as well.

This is the first time a State Head has had this happen to themselves.  Now, it is not that surprising that the ICC would do something like this.  The UN is full with over 49 countries of Muslim majority  population that have been wanting to eliminate Israel, the only Jewish country in the world with the original one having been created by King Saul back in about 1030 BCE which is over 3,000 years ago.  The UN has continually found fault with only Israel, never the people trying to eliminate them.  It's highly prejudiced !

Arrest warrants issued for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister over alleged war crimes threaten to deepen the global isolation of a country already under pressure around the world for its handling of the war in the Gaza Strip. Almost all of Europe are abiding with this ruling, lacking the spine to speak out against the UN leadership.  The USA are not going along with it, but Canada seems to be doing so.  The British government clarified its position on the arrest warrants issued by the world's top criminal court for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant by suggesting that it would arrest the leaders if they travelled to Britain.

Israel has tried to argue that the ICC doesn’t have jurisdiction over Israelis at all, but the state of Palestine has been a signatory since 2015 — so crimes committed by anyone in occupied Palestinian territory like Gaza are, in fact, the ICC’s purview.

Palestine?  What is a signatory?  A signatory is someone who signs a contract, therefore creating a legal obligation. There could be several signatories for a specific contract. Over time, this word has often been used for a person or country who signs a peace treaty. If the treaty is broken, the signatory will be blamed.  As of June 2024, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 146 of the 193 member states of the United Nations, or just over 75% of all UN members.  And then, the October 7, 2024 attack by Palestinians on over 200 Israelis living alongside Gaza on a National holiday of Sukkot !  They were horribly killed, as if by monsters, little babies to oldsters, beheaded and painful burnings, in ways we can't even imagine.  What an introduction to their becoming a peaceful state Israel was to live next to !  I blame all that made these Monsters a state along with the monsters themselves.

As far as we know, there has never been, nor is now, a state of Palestine.  As I've said a thousand times, it was the Romans who named a part of Israel as Palestine after 70 CE, the name of Israel's worst enemies then, the Philistines.  Rome took down Jerusalem by burning the city and it's Solomon's Temple at that time as well as their Roman occupation that had been going on.

124 countries can arrest the Prime Minister of Israel with Gallant since they voted for this; so many of Europe doing so.  Netanyahu has called the ICC's arrest warrant an "antisemitic decision" and said, "Israel utterly rejects the false and absurd charges of the ICC, a biased and discriminatory political body."  The British government clarified its position on the arrest warrants issued by the world's top criminal court for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant by suggesting that it would arrest the leaders if they travelled to Britain.

Britain has let us down since the end of WWI when they stated in a letter (Balfour Doctrine)  in the 1920s their support for a Jewish National Home with land regained from Ottoman Empire's holdings, raising our hopes, only to cut the land down to 10% of the original promised size by giving away 80% of it to the Prince of Arabia who needed land and people to rule.  The Jews had 600,000 looking at their native land they had lost to the Romans, wanting that particular land for the past 2,000 years.

President Joe Biden has expressed support for Israel and called the warrants

"disgraceful." The U.S. is a strong ally of Israel and neither country is a member of

the ICC.  It's amazing how many countries are chicken and just follow their leader.

Netanyahu Shocking US Officials Over Defense Minister His Awaiting Approval To Visit

 Nadene Goldfoot

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was set to leave Israel for Washington Tuesday night for a visit expected to tighten coordination between Israel and the U.S. amid preparations for an Israeli retaliation for the Iranian ballistic missile attack.

However, as of late Tuesday night the flight was not yet approved, the trip is in danger of being canceled and U.S. officials are reportedly shocked over the issue.

Yoav Gallant (Hebrewיוֹאָ  גָּלַנְטְ Yoav has been a member of Likud since 2019.
Born 8 November 1958) and now 66, he is an Israeli politician and retired military general. A member of the Knesset for Likud, he has served as Minister of Defense since 2022.  He appears to be an excellent choice for Defense.  Gallant is a former commander of the Southern Command in the Israel Defense Forces. In January 2015, he entered politics, joining the new Kulanu party. After being elected to the Knesset, he was appointed Minister of Construction. At the end of 2018, he joined Likud. Gallant also previously held the posts of Minister of Aliyah and Integration and Minister of Education.

It was Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu who prevented the Defense Minister from traveling to Washington to coordinate retaliation against Iran with the Pentagon. Bibi wanted to speak with Biden and his Cabinet first to approve his next steps in the war. Gallant was to meet with his counterpart to ask for assistance in case of further Iranian assaults.

Perhaps Netanyahu feels a little apprehensive of Gallant speaking his mind without conferring with him. Politically, Gallant had been breaking away from Likud.

A 2015

candidate list of

Kulanu (Hebrewכולנוlit.'All of Us') which was a centrist political party in Israel founded by Moshe Kahlon that focused on economic and cost-of-living issues.

The party's candidate list for the 2015 election was:

  1. Moshe Kahlon, former Likud MK and Kulanu party founder and chairman.
  2. Yoav Gallant, retired IDF major general (remains in reserves) and former head of IDF Southern Command.

  1. On 25 March 2023 Gallant spoke out against his own government in support of the protests against the government's proposed judicial reforms. He asked for the government to delay the proposed legislation to allow for negotiations between the ruling coalition and the opposition, which resulted in National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir calling for Gallant's dismissal. Netanyahu announced on 26 March that he was dismissing Gallant, sparking massive protests that night in several major cities across Israel. The following day, Gallant's office stated that he would be continuing in his post, as he had not yet been given an official notice of his dismissal. On 10 April, Netanyahu announced that he would not fire Gallant

  2. Gallant with Prime Minister Netanyahu, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, US military chief CQ Brown and IDF Chief Herzi Halevi in Tel Aviv, 18 December 2023 (Supposedly he was in this picture-to our right of Netanyahu)  Names circle to the left.  Women remain unnamed.

On 15 May 2024, during the Iron Swords War, Gallant convened a press conference in which he criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu for rejecting dealing with the question of "the day after" in the Gaza Strip. The Defense Minister called on the Prime Minister to announce that Israel will not control Gaza, and expressed his opposition to a military government in the Strip.

Yoav Gallant was born on 8 November 1958 (age 66)  in Jaffa to Polish Jewish immigrants. His mother, Fruma, was a Holocaust survivor who had been on the SS Exodus as a child. Along with other Exodus refugees, she was deported by the British to Hamburg, and arrived in Israel in 1948. She was a nurse by profession. His father, Michael, fought the Nazis as a partisan in the forests of Ukraine and Belarus, and also immigrated to Israel in 1948. He served in the Givati Brigade in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, including the Samson's Foxes unit, and was considered one of the finest snipers in the IDF. He participated in Operation Yoav, during which he was the first soldier to break into the fort at Iraq Suwaydan. He named his son for the operation.  In Gallant's youth, the family moved to Givatayim, where he studied at David Kalai high school. He received a BA in Business and Finance Management from the University of Haifa.
