Gal Gadot, THE Wonder Woman, A Jewish Israeli

It was the Jewish people who worked so hard seeing during World War  that the Ottoman Empire could lose Palestine to the Allies and were able to made a deal with the British of creating Israel once again out of Palestine which was that very land.  Judah, the last state of Israel had been overcome by the Romans in 70 CE.

They made the deal which created Israel on May 14, 1948, which was 78 years ago.  Israel has gone from a population added to those already in Eretz Yisrael led by Joshua, 601,730 , who had already lost 1,820 due to a 40 year migration from Egypt, In all, these patient people had to wait for their Promised Land  once again for 1,858 years.

These people had been the Israelites;  the family of Jacob whose name had been changed to Israel when he had the realization given to him by G-d of how to live a life;   who had been from Abraham's family and learned their moral lessons from Abraham and then more so from Moses, the prophet.  They were called the Jews.

Gal Gadot, a Jewish actress of Israel:  Gadot was born on April 30, 1985, in Rosh HaAyin, Israel. Her father worked as an engineer and her mother was a teacher. Gadot was an athletic child, studying dance and playing several sports in her youth. One of her first career ambitions was to be a choreographer, she told Vanity Fair.

Gadot entered the Miss Israel competition at age 18, thinking it would be a fun experience. “I never thought I would win,” she explained to Glamour magazine. “I was shocked when they crowned me.” This victory helped launch her career as a model. Gadot then served her mandatory two-year commitment in the Israel Defense Forces, before heading to college to study law.

While in college, Gadot was asked to audition to play the love interest of super spy James Bond in Quantum of Solace (2008). She had several callbacks, but she didn’t get the part. Still, the experience sparked her interest in acting. As Gadot told Interview magazine, “I realized it takes a lot to act, and it's so much more interesting than going to law school.” She soon landed a role on the Israeli TV series Bubot.

Gadot landed a role of a lifetime when she was cast as Wonder Woman (and her alter ego Diana Prince) for the big budget action film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Getting into character presented her with some challenges, as she told Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show. At first, her costume “was so tight, I literally could not breathe.” Despite any wardrobe issues, Gadot sees the significance of Wonder Woman as a role model. She explained to Glamour that “it was important for me that we show how independent she is. She is not relying on a man, and she’s not there because of a love story.

Anti-Semitism blaming Israel is blaming Jews:

  • Holocaust Inversion: Comparing contemporary Israeli policies to the actions of Nazi Germany to demonize the country.  6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis. Israel's government may not meet one's ok all the time, but this comparison is beyond the pale.
  • Conspiracy and Power: Claiming that Israelis or Jewish operatives secretly manipulate global politics, banking, or national policy, often echoing historic tropes like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is an antisemitic book used to promote hatred of Jews. It was first published in 1903. The Protocols contains conspiracy theories about alleged global Jewish power. It is the most widespread antisemitic publication of modern times. Germans read it, then people in USA as well as many Arabs who loved it and used it as an example.
  • Blood Libel Revival: Accusing Israelis of heinous crimes like intentionally slaughtering or harming children, sometimes featuring modern variations. Among the more unpleasant mythemes that one group of humans has devised about another is the blood libel: the claim that Jews murder Christian children, often around Easter, and use their blood in Passover rituals. Bits and pieces of this myth date back to ancient times. The Greek world produced some sinister stories about Jews annually fattening a Greek in their temples for sacrifice. And the New Testament (Acts 7:51–53) and the Quran (2:87) have cast Jews as persecutors and murderers of prophets. But the specific ingredients of the blood libel—innocent children murdered by conspiratorial Jews for blood rituals, were not baked into narrative until a child’s corpse was discovered in 12th century England and an enterprising monk accused the local Jewish community of murder.
  • Denial of Statehood: Denying the Jewish people the right to self-determination by stating that the existence of Israel is a fundamentally racist endeavor.  citizens whose true allegiance is to Israel.  communities.
  • Dual Loyalty: Accusing Jewish individuals of being disloyal citizens whose true allegiance is to Israel.
  • As far as I'm concerned, when someone criticizes Israelis, they are condemning the whole Jewish population which is still all over the world.
