I'm blessed by having inherited the genes of my parents of which my father is connected to Abraham and Moses in being Jewish and passing the genes onto me. From there, I'm connected to many famous rabbis including Rashi, proved by my DNA. So that has led me to Israel where I now hold citizenship, having dual with the USA. I lived in Israel, Haifa for a year and over 4 years in Safed (Tzfat) till I returned to Portland, Oregon to be with a very ill family member. I'm very proud of Israel, of being an Israeli and of delving into our history and learning.
Those genes on the Jewish side have really been acting up, evidently since I've been a self-student of our ancient and modern history, being on a semi-desert of my own creation, studying away and writing about it since 2004. There is so much more to know other than what little we learn through our yearly holidays; and I feel through studying that I've been there, done that, and it is so all real to me. I've gone to Israel, wrote 2 books about it and about a friendly Syrian who thinks his mother was Jewish who also feels that tug to help defend Israel somehow.
Israel had a moment of appreciation and admiration when the 1967 Six Day War of Israel ended. It lasted about a day, and then, WHAMMO, back to anti-Semitism-anti-Israel again. Now it's built up in Gaza, where so much of it has gone from bad to horrid, and Israel is on everyone's minds as the ultimate bad guy, including even some Jews from extreme left to extreme right who haven't listened to news untouched by Hamas terrorists. They get all their news from CNN.
I've seen it first hand, and know it's gone from very bad to even worse than bad; the feeling towards Israel, that is. I even compare notes with CNN and ABC's David Muir. That's not all; half the time I listen to historians and people in IDF as well who know a thing or two more than our newsmen in the states. That's because at 91 I'm trying to make sense of it all and understand. I want the correct picture in my mind. I even have listened to reporters from India and Britain, and some that are so frustrating to understand and hate what they are saying that it makes me sick. For a while I really enjoyed a lady of India and how she explained the news; Great! Wished our Americans would do the same instead of reading it off without taking a breath so fast I thought they were shooting oozies instead of speaking.
I always listen, and have a set-up where I get news from people in Israel who know what is happening and I write, but see that those articles of explanation in defending Israel's honor are being completely ignored. People would rather believe their eyes on TV news than believe in their own codes of behavior of their own people. It's so easy to make a tape and include only the bad things our eyes may see and not understand the truth of how it has come to be. So much important information has been left out. I recorded newscasters in a bar, getting cool, taking down what surrounding people were telling them, of which some were Arabs. They weren't writing what they themselves saw. So I'm a Jewish-Israeli/American witness to the wrongs being talked about by Americans and American newscasters who can't bring themselves to defend Israel in their newscasting rightfully. What's wrong with them?
Below are just some of the programming I can get from Israel and New York defending Israel because that's the correct news facts. There are many of us who know the truth happening, and it's so frustrating to hear people have it all screwed up. I ask myself why our newscasters are not plugged into such news; and know that the government does have those who speak out, but they evidently are not being picked up by reporters in other countries including the USA.
General John Conricus is my favorite speaker besides the Israel Guys of which one is an IDF soldier, Yair Pinto is also a correspondent for TBN Israel. He has the Israeli accent, but tells it like it is: They both do.

It's not just one newscaster but has many resource people they call upon for questions and answers.

Israel is facing extinction, whether you realize it or not. I'm not exaggerating! Iran has it's main goal as Israel's extinction ! They use Hamas and Yemen as their field hands to do the dirty work by supplying them with ideas and weapons. Their ultimate goal is to use an atom bomb on Israel. Yes, people in the age of 2025 are just crazy. Have you noticed what Hamas did on October 7, 2024? You can't make up such things as that; the horror those people died under; far worse than anything on the very day of dancing and celebration at the end of a special Jewish holiday, Succot. Hamas has managed to ruin Israel's reputation with all the tricks of the trade they have used with their own people's food supply.
First, they have hidden their weapons in homes of civilians, their own homes, schools, mosques, and those dad-ratted tunnels they spend all their time digging. This is the 2nd generation of tricking Israel and the world about their intentions; and now even the USA has thrown up their hands and is leaving the table because Hamas is not budging an inch in giving Israel back any live hostages or dead bodies. According to news reports on July 25, 2025, the United States recalled its negotiating team from talks aimed at brokering a ceasefire and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas. The US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, blamed Hamas for the breakdown, saying that their latest response to the ceasefire proposal demonstrated a "lack of desire" to reach a truce. Israel also withdrew its team from the talks, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying they were considering "alternative options". However, Hamas has stated the negotiations are expected to resume next week.

They won't make a deal, and Trump is strictly a deal-maker, not a politician. Netanyahu is a politician, and was a soldier first, last and always; as he was in the toughest unit Israel has to offer. He couldn't budge them either. Once I had to deal with a taxi driver in my living-room, an Arab, and I couldn't budge him, either ! He wanted Dollars, not shekels. Who carries dollars around in Israel? Not me. Well, I had a taste of what dealing is like.
Now, they have staged pictures; making sure they get starving people in it who they themselves starved by stealing the food and keeping it for themselves; shooting at the crowds themselves, blocking the highways to keep food trucks from entering to deliver food, you name it; they have thought of it and have done it; all but take care of their own, which is Hamas' responsibility. They don't care a hoot about the people; about their own parents. They saw how their parents sacrificed their own children many a time in the name of Hamas. It's sick. There's not one other country in the world who has been faced with such a war as this; even Ukraine's foe, Russia has not gone this far. Hamas is the government of Gaza and they harm their own citizens, sacrifice them for the good of Hamas. It's hard to fathom.
Hollywood should get this dilemma better than anyone. Staging a movie is quite similar; but instead of makeup in creating starving babes, Hamas starves them, then uses them in the pictures.
I can't trust terrorists. Why is it that France and America and all the others are following such lies? It's the pictures. They trust the pictures, and not anything of explanation. Easy to understand; I've seen people I know actually believe soaps on TV are real! No one has heard of rational or critical thinking? It isn't taught in many large universities, anymore.
Israel must survive. People must change their attitudes of hatred and anti-Semitism/Israel. If they don't, this planet isn't worth the joy and development it's trying to give us. We'll be no better than mindless robots. That's about what I see now.
