"Jericho Wall" Hits New York Times In Shocking 40 Page Information About Hamas and October 7th

The fence was broken apart by Hamas, letting in the vicious hoard of killers who raped, killed,  beheaded, burned down, all they could touch and dragged away hostages.

This morning Hamas resumed rocket attacks against Israel. At least 50 rockets have been fired at southern Israel thus far. Some damage has been reported. Three IDF soldiers were moderately injured and two lightly injured from a mortar that fell near Nirim, near Gaza. IDF jets responded with strikes in Gaza. (from iAM)

At the same time, news from CNN and others were full of shocking news that Israel's someone, possibly Mossad,  had warned the country a year ago of all of Hamas's plans of attack.  It's called JERICHO WALL. The news comes to CNN and others in  A bombshell report by the New York Times who claims that Israeli officials had a detailed, approximately 40-page document outlining "point by point" the plans for a Hamas attack on Israeli soil, but dismissed the plan as aspirational and beyond the group's capacities.

In looking further, "The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named “Jericho Wall,” outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people. The translated document, which was reviewed by The New York Times, did not set a date for the attack, but described a methodical assault designed to overwhelm the fortifications around the Gaza Strip, take over Israeli cities and storm key military bases, including a division headquarters."  The only error in the report is that actually 1,400 were killed in the attack being there were guests from other countries there dancing and enjoying themselves at  kibbutz Re'im.

The Jerusalem Post has information:  The document outlined "a methodical assault" in which drones would attack Israel's surveillance system as terrorists entered the country using paragliders and motorcycles under the cover of rockets."  That's exactly what happened.

To defend the country, at the time they had their hands full of the Judicial changes that Netanyahu and party wanted to make in their political system.  They were facing marches of people against the idea, even the IDF demonstrating against it.  In other words, they were not taking the news seriously.  Actually things had been pretty quiet for the border for quite a while.  It was the last day of Succot, a holiday and along the border the kibbutzim were having a happy celebration, bringing in a European music festival that incorporated music and dancing to the music.  No one was thinking "Security."  I don't even think anyone owned a German shepherd who would have been more responsible in alerting people to danger.  This goes to show that a country should never let their guard down, Never Ever!

that has  large hospital that has suffered from rocket attacks

so much so that they've had to move equipment and patients

into the basement.

The document is also said to have included the locations and sizes of IDF forces in the area, and specifically stated as an objective to overwhelm the military base in Re'im, the site of the nature party on October 7 that was targeted early in the attack. At the top of the document was a quotation from the Qur'an: "Surprise them through the gate. If you do, you will certainly prevail."   Oy vey!

Israel's conclusion at the time was shocking upon knowing all this.  concluded that the plans were a "compass," detailing Hamas's ambitions for the future, rather than an immediate plan of action.

A previous warning, also unheeded

"Jericho Wall" was not the first intelligence that had prompted such a debate, the Times reports. In September 2016, the Ministry of Defense prepared a top-secret memo, signed by then-defense minister Avigdor Lieberman, warning of an invasion and hostage-taking operation by Hamas.

The memo outlined Hamas's purchases of drones, GPS jammers, and other sophisticated weaponry. It also reported that Hamas had swelled its fighting force by 6,000 men in two years, and aimed to grow it from 27,000 to 40,000 by 2020.
