"Only 20% of the Muslims regularly go to mosques," said Insee. "Religion's place in identity is clearly most significant for Jews (54%) and Muslims (30%), compared to Catholics (6%), and has decreased among Muslims in 11 years."Muslims represented 10% of the French population in 2019 - 2020, according to figures by the national statistics bureau, Insee. A total of 29% of the population, aged 18 to 59, declared themselves Catholic, 10% Muslim, 10% other religions and 51% had no religion, according to the report published Thursday. So France has Aetheists=51%; Catholic=29%; Muslims=10% and of that, only 20% of Muslims go to Mosques. France has banned a number of pro-Palestinian demonstrations, although supporters have marched in several French cities in the past weeks, including thousands demanding a cease-fire in Gaza in a protest in Paris last Sunday.
According to the US Department of State in 2017, Muslims in Russia numbered 14 million or roughly 10% of the total population. The Grand Mufti of Russia, Sheikh Rawil Gaynetdin, estimated the Muslim population of Russia at 25 million in 2018. Russia arrests 60 after anti-Israeli rioters storm Dagestan airport
According to the latest 2021 United Kingdom census, 3,801,186 Muslims live in England, or 6.7% of the population. The Muslim population again grew by over a million compared to the previous census. Islam is the second largest religion after Christianity. Most Muslims are immigrants from South Asia (in particular Bangladesh, Pakistan and India) or descendants of immigrants from that region. Many others are from Muslim-dominated regions such as the Middle East, Afghanistan, Malaysia and Somalia, and other parts of African countries such as Nigeria, Uganda and Sierra Leone. There are also many White Muslims in the country, of which most have Slavic and Balkan backgrounds (Bosnian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Bulgarian, etc.), as well as some ethnic English converts.
Britain has seen some of the worst scenes of all the anti-Israel marches across the world. And I say “anti-Israel” for a reason. The first protests in London happened before Israel had even begun its military response to October 7. Rallies were held within hours of the massacres of Jewish souls. To most Israelis this is nearly unfeasible. I ask Why? This is the country who kept out all Jews from 1290 to 1655; 365 years, and the League of Nations gave them the 30 year mandate! I think Britain fails in History! Possibly because they have had bad relations with Jews since the 1920s when they gave away their Promised Jewish Homeland (80% of it) to Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia for their own benefit. Their broken promises, ensuing White Paper and such, allowing Arabs in the land but keeping out the Jews before and during the Holocaust just shows where their anti-Semitism lay and their greed overcame any righteousness.Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched peacefully through central London on Saturday demanding a cease-fire in Gaza after a week of angry debate over whether to permit the event. (Nov 11.), 4 days after the Israeli massacre.
Between 2010 and 2016, the number of Muslims living in Germany rose from 3.3 million (4.1% of the population) to nearly 5 million (6.1%), while the rest of the population shrank modestly from 77.1 million to 76.5 million. German police crack down on pro-Palestine rallies, raising alarm. Officers seized several banners at a recent Berlin protest, fueling fears that free expression does not extend to the Palestinian cause.
