One of the best speakers I listen to on You Tube is Shahar Azani of Jewish Broadcasting Service. I listened to his program tonight, which highlighted his speaker, Pastor Dumisani Washington. It was so informative, for Paster Dumisani is an advocate of Israel, and so is Shahar. Dumisani explained so much about the history between Israel and Africa that I haven't known about, and this involved Golda Meir a great deal.
Dumisani spoke about the Queen of Sheba, making a 1,500 mile trek to meet Solomon, the 1st international connection.
and Martin Luther King, who was also an advocate of Israel, amongst other facts and factors.
He told the listeners of the NAACP being started with Jewish and Black leadership.
Social Worker and Civic Leader Henry Moskowitz
Henry Moskowitz (1879–1936), a Romanian Jewish émigré, attended the University Settlement’s boys’ club as a youth. There he met fellow socialist William English Walling, with whom he traveled to Eastern Europe in 1905 to study social and economic conditions. Moskowitz was active in the Ethical Culture Society as an associate leader, and from 1913 to 1917 he served as chairman of several New York commissions. A close associate of Governor Alfred E. Smith, he coauthored Smith’s biography. Moskowitz’s involvement in the NAACP was indicative of early Jewish support; Lillian Wald, Rabbi Emil G. Hirsh, and Rabbi Stephen S. Wise were also founders. The Spingarn brothers served as officers, and Jacob Schiff, Julius Rosenwald, and Herbert Lehman contributed funds.

NAACP also had its beginning with Jews and Black, Dumisani stated.
